The day of the wedding it rained. Unsure of whether or not we'd be able to have the ceremony outside, Cathy was very reassuring and did everything possible to make it happen. Luckily, the rain stopped for our 5:30 pm ceremony and we were able to hold it outside! She and her team did an excellent job keeping things on track and the small details out of our hair-- she took care of everything, including decorating the reception room and removing the decorations afterward. Oh, and the food was delicious! Several guests commented on how good the food was, and there was plenty of it for a plated meal.

Looked great! We had exclusive access to the spacious locker rooms. We were checked on frequently by the event manager Cathy to see if we were doing ok or needed anything. Felt very well tended too. Our ceremony was held on their stone patio looking over the golf course and pond with a fountain. Very quiet and beautiful. After the ceremony, there were plenty of beautiful spots on the grounds of the course for our photos to be taken while our guest were in the reception hall with hor d'orves and drinks. After our grand entrance we had dinner served buffet style. Everything tasted great and served hot! Staff was great taking empty plates and unneeded items to keep the tables uncluttered. Everyone seemed to have the a great time! The event manager, Cathy, was wonderful to work with. Kept the day moving along on schedule on the wedding day. Through the months before, answered emails promptly, never made me feel forgotten or lost in the shuffle. Not to mention a winning personality that made the process fun and put me at ease. I highly recommend Dunham Hills!

Cathy was there every step of the way, making sure we did not forget anything, making sure we picked out what we wanted and if we had any questions, she was always available whether it was by phone, email or in person. During the reception, she and the team made sure that everything would go as planned from what time we wanted to enter the hall, serve dinner, dancing events etc. She made sure that we did not need to worry about anything on our day and just enjoy which I loved. I would also like to add that the place itself is beautiful! The hall has high ceilings, beautiful fire place, and great open concept! There is a patio for people to go outside and enjoy fresh air and have a great view of their beautiful golf course! e the wedding of my dreams the location is beautiful, a bit off the beaten path but so worth it! Cathy made sure that we had correct transportation for our guests and worked with area hotels for shuttle service. The banquet room was just more than I could imagine, along with the food was to die for! Not like any "wedding" food I have tasted.... I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day! Manager was great, as she took care of everything we needed. She had everything timed out and flawlessly executed our plan. She made herself available for face to face meetings where she handled all of our questions. More importantly we never felt pressured to upgrade or purchase anything we didn't want. The venue itself is picturesque and very wedding frendly. I was aprehensive in the begining about having our wedding at any golf course, as I did not want to compete with the golfers for pictures, bathrooms etc... Cathy put our needs front and center, as we had access to the locker rooms, bathrooms, and many areas of the course for pictures. In addition, it felt like every 20 minutes someone was checking on us, offering help or refreshments. The food was very tasty and plentiful. If you are a couple who has trouble picking out a menu, have no fear as there is a complimentary tasting event, where a couple can mingle with other couples, and visit Dunham Hills' favorite vendors who have booths set up around the room. I suggest trying the entire menu to find the perfect fare for your guests. There are also many sample tables set up and decorated to give a visual of different themes to help a couple visualize what their big day will look like. This was especially helpful to us as had little wedding experience. The last thing I would comment about is the patio ceremony. The backdrop is a beautiful fountain, and the lush landscape of the course. There is plenty of room for seating, and the setting is such that there is need for little to no additional decoration. The one thing I would suggest to brides is to becareful with their train on the surface of the patio. Something to watch, but far from a deal breaker. Overall, if you are looking for a well excecuted wedding with a magnificent country feel, Dunham Hills will take great care of you!

there is NOT a seperate room other than the banquet room in case of rain. It was a holiday weekend, the venue would not accept our cake a day ahead, we were told they didn't have room. The buffet tables weren't decorated. A runner was not allowed for the bride, the pavers snagged her train. The tables were spacious, even seating 10. The dance floor is a bit small. However they had the room until 12. The staff started breaking it down about 11:30! They took the centerpiece off my table while I was still sitting there! The coordinator told my son, she wanted to leave because she was going up north in the morning! Overall I felt is was a poor value for the price per plate paid.

We did not want for a single thing the entire night... for example, we had asked for Ranch and Balsamic Vinagrette dressings to be served to our guests, but Maggie and Cathy knew my hubby's favorite is Bleu Cheese and they had special homemade dressing just for him! The room was absolutely spectacular- we used their rental company and went with floor length special linens and Gold Chivari chairs. I walked in to the room and felt like I was standing in a dream! We are truly thankful to the team at Dunham Hills for giving us our perfect day! You will not be sorry if you pick Dunham Hills for your wedding day!

The food was great, we still receive so many compliments about the food. Not only did we have our wedding there, I also had one of showers there. Again Maggie and Cathy made the day great. The menu for the shower was soups, salads and sandwiches (my favorites!) The potato soup was the best I have ever had. My family has said how easy it was working with Maggie when planning the shower. She made the day as stress free as possible. My husband and I can’t thank Dunham Hills enough for making our events so special.

! Dunham Hills is nestled into a beautiful back ground of rolling hills and magnificent scenery. After our tour my fiance and myself did not hesitate to sign the contract. Maggie and Cathy wanted to know what we wanted and reassured us they would make it happen and that they did! The day of our wedding was breathtaking and beautiful. The staff at Dunham Hills were accommodating and professional. The weather was wonderful for our outdoor ceremony out on the brick laid patio- our guests just loved the peacefulness of the surroundings along with the beautiful fountain in the pond. My eyes literally started to well up when I walked into our reception room, it was just what we wanted- down to every last detail! Maggie and Cathy made sure that the time line was achieved and communicated this to our photographer and DJ. When I say they took care of everything- they really did! The bartenders were great and the food was delish! Our guests are still talking about the Feta Spinach Stuffed Chicken! At the end of the night Maggie and Cathy made sure we had our cake, card box and gifts- because they do all of the set up and break down. They also let us come and get the rest of our decor on the following Monday so we could rest up on Sunday! We want to thank Maggie, Cathy and the staff of Dunham Hills for the best day ever! We will certainly recommend Dunham Hills Golf Club for any event! Pure professionals that truly care!

We had dinner served family style, which was the perfect choice for our guests- my grandpa says he is full still! The Dunham Hills staff took care of everything for us! The day of the wedding Cathy made sure that we had everything we needed, and constantly made sure to check on us. Because our ceremony took place on the patio, and it was a little chilly, Cathy made sure that our guests were accommodated, and warm in the grill room until just before the ceremony began. The reception... THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!!! Thomas's catering is the best. I have never heard so many people in one room talk about how wonderful the food was. We chose to have a family style meal. The bistro steak and spinach feta chicken, and mini bites dessert station were so good! It was so wonderful because you were not limited to what was one your plate. So that table with all the uncles did not end dinner still hungry. It has been over a week since our wedding and I still on have people calling me and telling me that they had a great time and the food was amazing! Maggie lit up the room with tea lights and it was just sparkling. She did a great job ordering linens for us that were perfect. The food was delicious and the chef definitely did a wonderful job catering to some of our gluten free/vegetarian/nut allergy guest! Our guest enjoyed the appetizers and the bar service-- Maggie created some awesome signature drinks :) You will not be disappointed in choosing Dunham Hills, it will make your wedding day unforgettable. We had a few other places lined up to look at, but the meeting with Maggie stuck in my head and I knew she was the one I wanted to work with to help plan our wedding! The venue itself is beautiful! We had an outdoor ceremony there on the patio overlooking the fountain and it was just perfect! Many of our guests commented on how beautiful the scenery was for the ceremony. The inside of the reception area also turned out beautiful! The fireplace adds a romantic and comfortable feeling to the room and the room is big enough that it feels spread out and comfortable! However, besides the actual venue itself and how beautiful everything turned out that day, it really was the 3 women (and awesome Chef) that we worked with that really made the day so amazing! Maggie was with us from day one and was always available by phone, email and welcomed meetings anytime that I needed to. She is quick to return emails! She really understood everything that we had wanted and the vision that I had in my head for how I wanted the day to look! Later in the planning process we got to also work with Cathy and Megan. They were absolutely wonderful as well! They were both there for the wedding day and kept things going very smoothly, however were very patient when we needed just a little extra time for photos! They had food and drinks for us in the locker room and made us feel very comfortable before the ceremony when we were hanging out and getting ready. The chef was also wonderful and prepared great food and was also very accommodating to guests that needed special dishes for special diets! Overall, I had a fabulous time working with these ladies and they helped keep my stress level down because I trusted them to take my vision and run with it! The candy table that they put together was fantastic! It was exactly how I had visioned it! I would highly recommend other couples to consider getting married here! I have nothing but wonderful things to say and have to be honest when I say that our wedding day truly did turn out to be a perfect day!!

We had several kids entrees as well as guests with allergies and I loved how they made sure that these guests did not miss out on any of the flavor but the dish was cooked to meet their needs. I didn't want to have my guests waiting in lines at the bar or for the restrooms, which is a huge reason why we picked Dunham Hills. If I had to do my wedding all over again, I would still have it at Dunham Hills! Very satisfied with me experience there!

This helped Chris and I tremendously knowing that we could enjoy our time together taking pictures and not worrying if the guests needed anything. The reception was beyond our expectations too! We entered the reception hall and I was immediately impressed with how elegant everything looked. Maggie read my mind and delivered exactly what I wanted. The food was excellent and the service was AMAZING. Everyone commented all evening how wonderful everything was and how attentive and polite all staff members were. It was nice knowing that our guests felt welcome and satisfied the entire evening. When I think back to that special day, I can't say I have a single complaint. Everything was PERFECT and I would hope that Maggie and her staff knows just how much they impressed Chris and I, our friends, and our family. As the parents of two children in their 20s with many friends and a large group of nieces/nephews, we have attended many weddings in the last five years. Few of these events were as well organized and enjoyable at this one. We highly recommend Dunham Hills!

No other venue provided this level of beauty, quality, and service for the price. Ceremony: The grounds are well landscaped, maintained, and they have a wonderful brick patio with a lake and fountain in the background. This provides a beautiful spot for the ceremony and also a great place to hang out during the reception. In case of inclement weather, Dunham Hills had the best back up option we came across. They close off the reception hall and due to the decor, it has the appearance of a chapel. On our wedding day it was storming on and off; however, Dunham Hills were tracking the weather and found the perfect window for our wedding to take place outside. Maggie organized and instructed the wedding party before, during, and after the ceremony so that there were no worries what so ever. Reception: The staff was very attentive and worked hard to deliver a memorable wedding. The bar package was unparalleled and they were very flexible with the substitution of certain liquor. Even the basic package is stocked with great brands, as opposed to the liquor you could only stomach years ago at college. The staff worked very well with our DJ making sure to keep a great flow and schedule going. This enabled us the perfect time to do the meet and greets, so that we could really party with everyone else later. We never experienced any drama, mistakes, or short comings. The hall was decorated wonderfully, worry free, and we used up lighting to really highlight the room. For dessert we expressed the desire to have an ice cream cart, so Maggie actually went out found a great deal and rented one stocked full of our favorite treats. I believe their flexibility is a major factor in what made the planning process and the reception so great. There was no set in stone, carbon copy, my way or the highway attitude. Maggie said anything you want we'll try our hardest to do, and this was delivered as promised. Food: During the planning process there was so many food options to choose from, and on top of that Dunham Hills is willing to do whatever you want. At our tasting we were blown away by the filet mignon and salmon, and this quality was executed on the day of our wedding as well. Both myself and my wife are excellent cooks, and we were proud to serve this food at our wedding. The food was well seasoned, cooked perfectly, and had nice presentation. Apparently we weren't the only ones that felt this way, because we received several compliments on the dinner from our guests. After dinner was served and eaten the chef came out and went to each table to ensure that everyone loved their meal. Everyone felt this was a very classy action.

The chef is a registered dietician, so they were even willing to make special meals for myself (I have a lot of allergies) and some of the guests with specific food restrictions. If I had questions about ANY area of our wedding prior to the big day, Maggie would email me back within a few hours. She and the rest of the crew put our minds at ease. If you book a reception at Dunham, you can expect to receive kindness, selflessness, and peace of mind on the day of your event.

I can honestly say that Maggie is a gem. She is very professional, knows what she's doing, but is so caring and attentive to every detail that we could just relax and thoroughly enjoy the evening. So many people told us that it was the best wedding reception they'd attended in years. Dunham Hills Golf Club is a beautiful setting with the fountain, lighted patio, and banquet room, and the food was delicious. In fact the chef worked with us because the bride has Celiac's disease and we needed gluten-free choices. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for the best banquet/wedding experience ever.

eddings is very unprofessional she inflicts her wants and interests on the bride and was not around at all during the rehersal or the wedding. I was not pleased with her at all. She did not meet my expectations as a wedding reception coordinator!
