I have been to many of the high end hotels in Vegas and this is by far my favorite hotel I’ve stayed at. A few things to highlight:

ever slept in. The shower pressure is also amazing.
The food at all the restaurants has been incredible. Along with the service.
The pool is salt water and my hair never felt gross coming out of it which is important.
It’s incredibly clean and high end. 100% recommend staying here. I will not be staying anywhere else when coming into town.

I'm only talking about the casino itself, but let me tell you, this casino is really dang nice!
When you walk in, the casino just feels clean. It's bright, well lit, doesn't smell like smoke (and I've been while it's been crazy busy and really...
calm), and I see caution wet floor signs all the time because staff is consistently mopping and wiping down machines. TIP THE STAFF FOR DOING A GOOD JOB!
The cocktails are some of the best I've had both flavor and alcohol content. TIP YOUR SERVERS!
I played only video games, slots, poker, and blackjack, and all have had a fair win/loss ratio. I didn't feel like I was being taken at EVERY machine, I at least got to have some fun while playing.
One trip, I got lucky on going on a promotion giveaway day and it's nice that you don't have to earn an absurd amount of points to qualify for a gift. The rewards staff were super cool about letting people try on the pullover because while they were out, people noticed right away that they looked like they ran at a weird size (like half a size small), so people could take their time and decide what worked best for them and the staff didn't rush anyone and a lot of people were having good conversations laughing and smiling.
Since I was not an Elite Member, I had to wait for a later time to retrieve my gift, but I was asking one of the members about their app and the Lucky Charms they keep promoting, and she was just the nicest person explaining it to me without making me feel dumb.
This is a very kind crew all around and I have only had pleasant experiences.

We dined at Summer House and I loved the decor. Our server, Ashley, was nice as well as the other staff members. My friends really loved the meatballs appetizer. One got too full and couldn't order an entree. 🤣

Decided to escape the Strip for one night away and enjoy a stay at the Durango. We enjoyed visiting the casino last time and it impressed us so much that we wanted to try it for a night.
We were not disappointed. Our room was amazing: cozy but...
still elegant and the room layout was well thought out. The rest of the hotel is an oasis in the middle of the desert.
As it is in the day, the casino floor was busy and bright and lively, hopping and busy. We ate at Yu Or MI sushi restaurant. The food was great, the drinks were flowing and the service was friendly and impeccable.
We decided to continue the fun at Oasis bar and casino was only getting busier. The environment in this casino is more laid back and enjoyable than the casinos on the Strip and a welcome change.
I would highly recommend visiting the Durango for a change of pace from the main Strip. The casino is an amazing place to gamble and get a drink and the hotel is a great place for a relaxing stay. The restaurants do not disappoint and the staff is friendly and welcoming.
