Dustin Cantrell Photography

Dustin is FABULOUS!! Not only do we absolutely love the photos (both of our wedding and for our engagement photo shoot), Dustin was great to work with. He was easy to communicate with, quick to send us the photos, and made us both feel comfortable in front of the camera (which neither of us were beforehand). During our wedding, Dustin was there to capture every special moment without it feeling intrusive or awkward. We are so so happy with our photos and loved working with Dustin!!

Dustin was the surprise photographer at my engagement and after seeing those pictures it was impossible to choose anyone else to photograph our wedding. He came to Texas for our big day and thank goodness he was available. After using him once I was 100% comfortable with everything he was doing. I didn't feel unnatural or awkward posing and I was confident he was capturing every detail, so I didn't have to worry about it. I have waited so long to review Dustin bc I just don't think I have the words to express how much I love his work and what a joy it was to have him capture our wedding. I promise you won't regret using him!

We hired Dustin for our wedding in Eastern WA in May 2017. I (the husband) am ridiculously picky about photographer choice. Photography was my "thing" that I needed to be 110% perfect at our wedding and I'm a recovering photography/cinematography nerd - my opinions get out of hand QUICKLY. My wife would diligently present a few photographers a day that she felt might make the cut - I rejected like 97%. We reached out to Dustin because his portfolio demonstrated his ability to do fantastic work in a wide open space. Our wedding was waterfront with an expansive desert background on a bright, overcast day. It's a challenging scene to shoot correctly (but he killed it). We met with Dustin over the phone before the wedding. He was easy to work with and we got the basics settled very quickly. My biggest ask to Dustin was that our guests should never feel their view of the ceremony was impeded by the photographer; the guests are the priority, not the photographer. We had a few scene requests (photos with the family piano) which were all worked out at that time. We really enjoyed working with Dustin on the day of the wedding. He's fun to work with, passionate, and efficient. During the ceremony he was unobtrusive and out of the way. His photos are spectacular. They belong in a magazine. The ceremony is captured beautifully. His shots of the reception/dance party that followed bring it to life. The photos are executed with technical perfection. They are artistically perfect. We literally could not be happier with what he delivered. I've got half a mind to throw another outlandish party solely so I have an excuse to hire Dustin to come take more pictures of our friends and family. You should have stopped reading after the first line to go hire him, but since you are still reading we'd like to reiterate: We love Dustin Cantrell, he is amazing, shut up and hire him already.
