I am so happy with how the cake turned out!! It was so gorgeous and professionally assembled. And tasted amazing too.

She decorated the cake exactly as we requested, and helped us plan the trip to make sure the cakes would make it safely. We transported the cakes in large cooler, and they were beautiful and delicious for the wedding!! I am not usually a fan of frosting, but on these cakes it is exceptional! And the cake itself is of course delicious! All of our guests commented on how great the cake was. The prices here are great, the service is outstanding, and they go above and beyond to make your dream come true. We will continue to get cake from Dutch Oven Bakery, no matter how far away we might be!!

I did learn some things though! Light grey detail work is not going to come out well as a substitute for silver. I'm also a stickler for details so a very slight unevenness to a bottom ribbon is something I notice immediately. But I also got rave reviews from everyone about how much they enjoyed the cake!

The cake was delicious (as always) and much cheaper than Hy-Vee. Plus, at our one year anniversary they will make us an anniversary cake at no extra charge!
