provided us with so much direction, we felt super comfortable. I was so happy and at ease after our engagement shoot I had no doubt she would kill our wedding photos (and she did!). She provided a preview right away and turned around the final galleries with lightening speed. taking and timeless wedding photos. A quick note about my husband is that he truthfully is so shy when it comes to photos, always has been. However, Dyanna changed the game for him (really, for us). She delivers so much comfort and authenticity when it comes to taking photos --- that all the nerves and worries quickly dissipate. When I first started my search for a photographer I knew that I wanted something more than your standard images and a person I would enjoy my day with. I knew from her images that they would be perfect but then the first time I spoke to Dyanna I was sold. She loved talking about our wedding, what our vision was, what we wanted from a photographer and was genuinely interested in us as a couple. From the moment I chose her as my photographer the planning process was simple and smooth. No email was to much and no request was to crazy. I even emailed her with my idea to have a horse at the venue to take photos with and she 100% supported it! (which ended up being my favorite photo so far.) She also makes you enjoy taking photos and feeling comfortable in the moment. My now husband doesn't love standing around all day taking photos and after our engagement shoot he said that wasn't as bad as I thought. In that moment I was like I picked the best photographer!!! There are bound to be hiccups during wedding planning, and Dyanna handled them like a pro, and with her heart. When it started raining as I pulled up to my engagement location, to me having a breakdown about a hair color mishap days after the wedding, Dyanna was immediately comforting and calming, ensuring me everything would be, not just okay, but exactly as I envisioned. She truly cares about her clients and does everything she can to make sure you are comfortable and happy with the results. Dyanna is a beautiful person inside and out! She made our friends and family feel immediately at ease on our wedding day; they still comment about how wonderful she was. Then there’s the pictures! I meannnnn…DREAMY. The pictures are truly works of art; they are dreamy and beautiful and more than I ever could have imagined. I have people still messaging me in awe of them, saying they look like they’re out of a magazine, the most beautiful wedding pictures they have ever seen. I can never thank Dyanna enough for not only being the most talented, amazing photographer, but for being such a genuine warm hearted person! She has given my husband and I the gift of the most beautiful memories of our special day, and I will be forever thankful to her for that!!

She made us both feel very comfortable in front of the camera and she communicated very well while she was shooting. When we received our photos, I was blown away after she shared each set. . A true professional with a love for what she does. As an Event Planner myself, I had very high expectations of the services to expect. After I had researched endless wedding photographers, we were lucky enough to come across Dyanna’s website and Instagram and instantly fell in love with her work. So many Ooohs, Ahhhhs, and WOW factors later, we just knew we wanted her to capture our special day. She was very professional and personable, quick to respond to all my emails/ texts, and readily helped with the planning of the overall day. She went above and beyond to make us feel so comfortable and captured photos we could only dream of. She was the ultimate trooper when I told her we would be trekking through the zoo in the middle of August to capture our engagement photos with giraffes… yes I said giraffes! She did not hesitate at all when I mentioned this and was quickly up for the challenge. A few weeks before our big day, Dyanna had sent me a very thorough questionnaire to complete. This would include the timeline of the day, the vendor’s contacts, the expectations of Scott and I. Pretty much anything and everything to possibility expect for the day. She had made sure to connect multiple times prior to discuss any questions she might have had and go through what she would be doing throughout the day. This was such a crucial detail to me because many brides go into the day just “letting things happen” and it never works out. We both went into the day fully prepared of what to expect and not once single detail was overlooked. Dyanna’s tranquil spirit was exactly what I needed the day of the wedding. She walked in with a huge smile and went to work. She quickly became best friends with my Mother and my other bridesmaids, which made it so easy to snap the photos we needed. Her attention to detail, creative nature, and love of photography was very evident throughout our day and couldn’t have been happier to work with such a professional. I consider her to be a great friend now and can only hope she will make the next future Mr. and Mrs. as happy as my husband and I are! We are so excited to see all of our photos and would highly recommended Dyanna Joy Photography!

Meeting her, she is even more infectious in person! She has an amazing eye, and she was a pleasure to be around. We had an amazing time going around Annapolis taking pictures. Dyanna is very thorough and asks all the right questions. We had a chance to sit down with her and talk about the family pictures we wanted at the wedding, and she made things so personal by wanting names to go with the relations. Prior to the wedding, she worked out a schedule and sent it with a ton of reminders. I was able to use this as a check list to make sure that I had everything she needed and everything I needed! I was a little frantic the week of the wedding with the scheduling and trying to get my 2 year old flower girl to get her nap and make the pictures, and Dyanna was extremely flexible. She was also informative and explained why she had wanted things at what times, and this eased my mind. The day of the wedding, I was so happy to see her. She was so upbeat and ready to work. I don't know how she kept us all on track, but she did, and she was directing pictures, videos, people, and we were following! She has an incredible way of being professional and personal at the same time. In addition to her infectious personality, she creates amazing pictures and memories. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our special day.
