ot only are the photos gorgeous, Dylan also made our day fun. WE didn’t know what we were doing, thankfully Dylan helped to guide us with where to look and how to position while still looking and acting natural. He made us look like professionals! ommunication was spot on from the beginning. He was quick to respond and that is always a plus. (Especially with the time frame we were dealing with) My husband and I are from out of state and I wrote Dylan asking if he had time to take some mountain photos of us and our pups in our wedding attire. Our small destination wedding didn't work out for family and this was the closest thing I was going to get to it. Dylan had the availability and was up for the adventure. (And what an adventure it was) We will never forget the wonderful experience we had with him. We really weren't sure where we were going, what our day was going to entail and in the end..... ever! Because we paid for our own wedding, being able to do both was likely going to be a stretch - so I tried to find a way we could get a friend to be our videographer. Little did I know, Miles had a plan up his sleeve.... Knowing that I was trying to save money, my parents wanted to surprise us with a videographer. They decided to let Miles in on this little tidbit - and as soon as he knew that they were going to do this no matter what he said, he took it on himself to find the best videographer! He contacted our photographer, and they said that we should definitely get in touch with Dylan, they'd worked with them before and just loved him! Miles did some digging and watched a ton of Aventura's videos, correction...films. That's what sealed the deal for Miles - Dylan has a way of turning the most important day of your life, into a film that tells the whole story! The time and effort that is put in to the editing, music choice...the list could go on...it's all impeccable! I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason - and the reason I was so adamant about not going over budget, was so that Miles and my parents could surprise me with Dylan! The night before the wedding, at our out-of-town-guest-reception, Miles, Mom and Dad had Dylan come so that they could start our amazing weekend with this unbelievable surprise! So, needless to say, my dad showed Dylan NO slack and yet Dylan was able to work with him, rather than against him, to get great pictures of my dad that I can cherish. Amazing. Our photos and video turned out just as beautifully as all the other work in his portfolio, even with some very challenging conditions with the post-flood scenery around our venue. Dylan is truly passionate about the technical and artistic side of the business. His design background comes through in the style, sense of drama, and novelty he brings to settings up shots, yet we also loved that he strived to capture us as we are naturally, without being posed. What we didn’t plan for when looking for a photographer was finding someone who was simply a great person to have by our side on our wedding day – on top of being a “light ninja” behind the camera, Dylan is funny, caring, and enthusiastic. His sheer excitement over capturing beautiful images was downright contagious and he genuinely cared about the meaning of the day, not just snapping some photos of an event. He took a lot of time getting to know us and, by our wedding day, felt more like another friend who was celebrating with us. He was fun without being obtrusive though and was very conscientious of making it a meaningful day that was photographed rather than a “photo shoot” detracting from us actually experiencing the day. He captured my husband and I genuinely enjoying special moments as newlyweds, not posing for photos. Besides your spouse, your photographer is probably the person you will spend the most time with on your wedding day, so it was more valuable than we initially realized to have someone who “got” that the day is about celebrating the marriage of two people. We had a great experience with Dylan at Aventura and highly recommend him!

st wedding regret. Dylan and I chatted for a while on the phone getting to know one another before we joined up for the wedding day. He really took the time to make sure we were a good fit and that the video would capture me and my husband as a couple. How true were those articles?? I can tell you with 100% certainty that without this video I would have been devastated with the lack of wedding day documentation. Don't get me wrong, I love my photos, but they don't catch the entire laugh during our vows, or the eye roll during the best man speech they don't give the intense overwhelming reliving of that day. I have watched my video almost every day since Dylan sent it over and still can't get enough of it. Dylan's also, in his own words, a "Video Ninja." I didn't totally believe him when he told me that over the phone, but I thought his films were so great that I didn't mind if he got in there during the ceremony. But the fact is, he really is like a ninja! You would never think from watching the film that he wasn't standing over our shoulder during our vows or dancing or cake cutting. You name it, he got the perfect shot, but truthfully, I didn't see him all night so you never have to worry about your cinematographer getting in the way. I cannot recommend Dylan enough, his film of our wedding day is the absolute best gift we could have asked for. Get a video - you don't want any regrets, and Aventura Photo/Video is the absolute guarantee to not have any!

ioned he likes to get to know his clients vs respond back and forth via email and when talking to him on the phone for the very first time, it's like you have known him for awhile. He is very down to earth, professional, extremely creative, funny and you can tell he loves his job. We hired Dylan and his crew for our wedding which took place on top of Vail Mountain. Weather was a factor as they shut down the gondola with me on top of the mountain and groom with all guests at the bottom. We had wind, some rain, thunder, lightning but all was recorded and our video is amazing. I would highly recommend hiring Aventura to film your wedding. Dylan is a true artist and overall great person.

He also will work to give you everything you want in your wedding package. Being able to customize to fit your needs. Once we received our photos back, I was so excited to see what they would hold. When I put the disc into our computer I was already getting emotional I couldn't sit still. There were so many details that I had worked on and they were all captured by Aventura. All those little things that mean so much to us as brides, were notice and preserved. I know I do not have room to store all those touches in our place. My husband and I have grown close to Dylan and love his artful mind. We have enjoyed watching our film and all of our photos are wonderful! We have gotten so many compliments on our photos as well as our film. If we could do it all over again we would! Furthermore, I could tell Dylan (the owner) really had a creative eye for capturing the moment from a photojournalists perspective that could easily be found in beautiful bridal magazines. Unlike most photographers I met and interviewed, Dylan exhibited the technical as well as artistic knowledge to capture and produce beautiful photographs and video. I really valued how Dylan's goal is to capture beautiful photographs from the beginning and not heavily rely on Photoshop to artificially edit photographs. Consequently, pictures come out natural and absolutely gorgeous; not overly saturated and noisy. Dylan is a great guy and fun to work with- we had so much fun during the engagement session and wedding! He did everything that we asked him to do, and he also had a lot of good ideas and suggestions that we didn't even think of. He was very creative with the photos he took - which in the end resulted in unique photographs that we are really proud to show off to everybody. The only negative thing that could really be said is that it took longer than expected to receive our album which we ordered through Aventura, but after receiving it and seeing the quality and professionalism of the album, we completely forgot about waiting an extra week or so for it. The price was also reasonable and we would recommend this company to any other bride and groom, or for that matter, anyone who wanted professional pictures at a fair price.
