We hired Kim for our wedding and she took our engagement pictures as well. She was a pill to work with after the wedding-once she had our money, she switched personas and was absolutely awful to us. Our engagement pictures were okay, not expressing our personalities at all. She chose a site very far from our house, gave little direction, and the lack of personalization or effort to show us as a couple really bothered us. The same was the case for our wedding. I agree with another user-she gave NO direction and persons in our party were often misposed or looking the wrong way simply because she didn't bother to correct them. Our photo locations were beautiful and we felt she did not get the most out of them. She charged ridiculous rates to stay past 8 hours, so we had to alter the entire schedule of our reception to get shots of our dances. The pictures we received were all right, frameable but nothing to ooh and ahh about. Our package included an album, and we submitted our pictures to her quickly so we could show the album to our families at Thanksgiving. She gave no direction as to the number of pictures we should submit, and she took the liberty of taking the 20 page album we agree to pay for and making it 50 pages-then wanted $450 on top of the $2000 we had already pais her. After WEEKS of going back and forth, trying to get her to delete pages (there were at least 10 with only one picture on them-what a waste!) so we could get the nice album we had already paid for, we fired her. She was extremely rude and would not budge. Six moths after our wedding, and we have no album to show for it when people ask. Save yourself the grief and hire someone who cares about you and making your wedding day anything but a stressful experience.
