We couldn't be happier with our choice of E. Wales Hospitality for our wedding caterer. Liz and her team were truly fantastic. Our 200+ person wedding on an island in Maine presented several logistical challenges, but Liz handled everything with ease and professionalism. From our first phone call and subsequent site walkthrough, we knew we had found the right team. Liz's expertise and reassuring presence led us to hire her as our day-of coordinator as well, and she did an outstanding job. Her staff was not only skilled but also incredibly kind to all our guests, consistently going above and beyond. There are countless moving parts to a wedding, but Liz and her team were impeccably organized, detail-oriented, and professional. Thanks to Liz, our day ran smoothly, and we couldn't be more satisfied. Now, onto the food! We did our tasting at their restaurant, and choosing the appetizers was the hardest part—they were all delicious! Since the wedding, we've received over a dozen phone calls from guests raving about the food, calling it the best wedding meal they've ever had. Liz's husband, the head chef, truly delivered. Cooking for such a large group is no small feat, but every plate was cooked to perfection, and the presentation was exceptional. If you're reading reviews to decide on a caterer, call Liz. Words cannot describe how kind Liz and her team are. She makes the process incredibly fun and easy and is an absolute dream to work with. She saved our entire wedding with her flexibility and really shows how much she cares about the couple. Also, the food is out of this world! Amazingly flavorful and unlike anything you've had before. I cannot recommend her enough!

I can't say enough good things about Liz and the team at Blue Spoon/ E. Wales Hospitality. We got married at French's Point in October 2022, and Blue Spoon was amazing. We had a great experience with her from conceptualization and scoping to the day of. Key things that made Liz and team stand out: -We were adamant that we wanted family style dinner. Many caterers either tried to discourage us from doing this, or were charging us significantly more than plated dinners to have this style. Liz was really open to the family style idea, and made some great suggestions - Food itself: Many guests, and our makeup artist, told us this was the best wedding food they've ever had. The food tasted identical to how it tasted at our trial with Liz. Our makeup artist saying that really let us know how special Liz's team is. They did a late night grilled cheese snack, and a cocktail hour oyster bar that really was impressive. -Service: 10/10 - everyone was a delight. Bartenders were nice, staff was VERY friendly, and everyone on staff contributed to our wedding environment in a really positive way. My mother in law specifically gave a shout out to Liz's husband/business partner for being particularly kind to her. (to be fair, I think he was the man in charge of the champagne) -Setup: I was not expecting this- but Liz's team set up an outdoor bar that was absolutely gorgeous. All in all, an amazing experience with Liz and team. I would certainly add this to the shortlist if you are getting married in Maine.

Can't speak more highly of Liz and the entire team at Bluespoon. They catered two intimate events for us (back-to-back weekends!) and everything was perfect. The food was incredible, the setup and breakdown was seamless, and everyone is still commenting on how much they loved everything. And don't forget to eat that their restaurant in Portland if you can – it's one of the best meals we've had!

Blue spoon catered our intimate micro wedding and was nothing short of amazing! The food was phenomenal and was a HUGE hit with all the guests and the service was excellent!
