Eagle Manor is a majestic and historic location unlike anywhere else in New Jersey. When we rescued this hidden gem from benign neglect, I promised we would restore this wonderful property to it's past glory. However, unlike previous owners, we would allow the public to benefit in this endeavor.
Now that we've restored the property, I look forward to sharing it. I love that Eagle Manor offers couples so many options for making their dreams come true - from historic, to rustic, to outdoors, to waterfront. Come to Eagle Manor and forge everlasting memories and bonds that will last a lifetime!

Just got married here August 2023. I have nothing but great things to say. The estate is beautiful. Property managers, event coordinator, caterer are all amazing. I would recommend this location to anyone!

I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day! We loved that we got the whole place all weekend. We got to set up on Friday and have our rehearsal dinner on site. Our bridal party and family got to stay at the mansion with us which made for such a memorable experience. The grounds and barn are breathtaking. Our guests even saw an eagle fly over the ceremony as we had our first kiss! I’m not going to lie this venue takes a lot of work on the couples part. You need to rent a bathroom, chairs .. bring your own decor etc but it is 10000% worth it! Instead of one day in a stuffy catering hall you get a whole weekend wedding experience on an amazing property.
Any questions?

My Daughter fell prey to these people. Her wedding had to be cancelled due to Covid. They offered her 2 dates to reschedule. Both on Wednesday. Obviously no one wants a wedding on a Wednesday. They would not return her money to her. They stole more than $3,000.00 from her. She is a Nurse and I (Her Mom) a Respiratory Therapist. We work hard for our money and $3,000.00 is a lot of money to us. It is despicable that they would do this to a young couple. I hope no one has to endure this same experience from thieves like the people of Eagle Manor. Sad very sad…

When looking for wedding venues, we really struggled with spending so much money for only one night. Then we found Eagle Manor! From just viewing the pictures online, we loved this place! We took a tour of the place and knew this is where we wanted to have our reception. We really loved the fact that Eagle Manor offered a house to stay in for our family and wedding party. We were able to continue celebrating all weekend long and even had our rehearsal dinner at the house the night before. The house alone was gorgeous! It offered 10 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, a full kitchen, living room, and a BEAUTIFUL view of the river. For our wedding reception, we had our cocktail hour on the lawn near the river. It was an unusually cold night for November and our guests froze... oops! But after cocktail hour we continued the reception in the barn. When we visited the first time, I was really opposed to the barn. I couldn't picture my dream wedding in there. It was too rustic for me. But after pricing out tents and tent heater rentals, the barn was perfect! :) And the barn ended up being so beautiful the night of our wedding. With all the flowers and decorations, it really came out more beautiful than I expected. We really enjoyed our wedding at Eagle Manor and were very pleased with everything. Just some things to think about when you are thinking of this for your venue.... You need to rent EVERYTHING. Like spoons, tables, napkins, cups, everything!! The heaters ended up being so much money and were a big part of our wedding budget. UGH! The pro to this is that you get to design and plan how you want you wedding to look down to the fork! :) The cons were the added up prices and working with lots of other vendors besides just the venue. Is it worth it? YES!!! We had so much fun celebrating all weekend! But just consider all the prices that go into this venue.

If you're looking for a place with beautiful scenery and the ability to have a wedding with whatever budget you choose, this is it. We fell in love with Eagle Manor during our very first visit and every other venue we visited just didn't compare. There were so many things we loved about having our wedding at Eagle Manor. The scenery is incredible and made for some amazing wedding photos. Our entire wedding party was able to stay in the mansion for the weekend, so it was a weekend full of fun with our closest friends! Since we had the venue for the whole weekend, we were able to have the rehearsal dinner onsite in the boat house, which saved us money and was super convenient. One of my favorite parts was the venue enabled us to spend what we wanted on food, decorations, entertainment, etc. We didn't have to deal with the typical ballroom that requires you to use their catering at an insane price. We chose to have our wedding in the barn and had compliments all night on how beautiful it was. Lastly, the owner Chuck responds quickly to any questions you may have and did everything he could to make sure we had an amazing wedding experience. Eagle Manor is definitely worth a visit, I promise you won't be disappointed!

I recently found this gem on a Facebook thread. One of my girlfriends is getting married and we both fell in love when I sent her the link on a Wednesday. We were there that Saturday to tour. The following Saturday she put the deposit down and booked the wedding. The silence that you hear there is incredible. The price is so affordable considering you get this retreat for a weekend and not just a few hours! It's a built in honeymoon! I can't wait to plan this wedding with my friend and enjoy the beauty that Eagle Manor has to offer!

Chuck, owner of Eagle Manor, is a pleasure to work with. He is always very professional, eager to help in any way, and communicative. He works on the property, not just manages it--often doing lots of maintenance himself which shows how much he cares about Eagle Manor.
The grounds are beautiful, and to describe it pales in comparison--you just have to visit and experience it yourself. It is very peaceful out there, and the view from the back lawn of the manor is breathtaking. Stay for a sunset, too--the colors in the sky above the Cohansey River are worth it. The manor interior is also nice, very spacious and was enough room for all of our wedding party to stay with us! I much preferred it to staying at a hotel!
Our wedding at Eagle Manor was perfect, we wanted a blank canvas with which to work with, and we were able to come up with our own decor and reception ideas, as well as find our own caterer because currently Eagle Manor does not work exclusively with any vendor. To add to that: For those of you who are less of the DIY type, Eagle Manor can provide recommendations on who would be good to work with regarding vendors!
Overall, our stay at Eagle Manor on our wedding weekend was memorable and we hope to visit the area on our anniversaries!

Eagle Manor is amazing! We had our wedding here on a Saturday (9/2/17) but spent a long weekend at the property as well. It was great to spend a few days before and after the wedding with our family and bridal party, the house and yard/deck/boathouse are awesome and great for large groups. We loved that we could choose our own vendors for the wedding and could DIY to really make things our own, and staying there a few days prior was really helpful in having enough time to set up without rushing or stressing. It ended up storming on our wedding day, so luckily the barn was almost ready to use and once we made the call a few days prior to switch everything to inside the barn (first wedding in the barn!), Chuck worked SUPER hard to finish up working in there to have it ready for us. We did both the ceremony and reception in the barn and it turned out PERFECT. Chuck was great to work with from the time we inquired about the property through to the end of our stay, and was very responsive, helpful and accommodating for whatever we needed. Eagle Manor is stunning and it was so enjoyable to stay and relax there. It was also the most perfect place to host a wedding! Highly recommend this hidden gem!

My wife and I had our wedding at Eagle Manor on April 1, 2017. First of all, the venue is absolutely gorgeous. We had our ceremony on the deck overlooking the river. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Chuck at Eagle Manor. Chuck was extremely professional and helpful during every stage of the wedding. He went far above and beyond the call of duty. For example, Chuck was always available and very flexible with any needs we had. In addition, Chuck shot drone footage of our wedding free of charge. Thanks to all the help from Chuck at Eagle Manor, my wedding day ran very smoothly and was a once in a lifetime memory for my wife and I. I couldn't be happier that I chose Eagle Manor as my wedding venue. I would highly recommend Eagle Manor to anyone searching for a wedding venue. You will not be disappointed!
Sincere thanks and gratitude, Keith & Divya Singh (04/01/2017, Eagle Manor, Fairfield Township, NJ)

I recently had the honor to plan the wedding for Lauren Hay at Eagle Manor this fall. Eagle Manor is like something out of a story book. I've never seen anything like it. It is truly unique. The mansion house sits on a hill with a spectacular panoramic view of the waterfront. The huge front lawn, which gently slopes down to the river, was perfect for our reception tent. The massive river deck and boat house kitchen were perfect for cocktail hour prior to the reception. We were debating between having the ceremony in the rustic dairy barn or on the lawn overlooking the river. In the end we picked the lawn and used the wonderful rustic benches that were supplied by the venue. The kids really loved fishing in the pond and playing pool in the game house. The wedding party stayed in the mansion, while nearby hotels provided free shuttle service for the guests. The guys even got some time to fish and use the target clay launcher the day after the wedding. It was just a magical weekend and we are so thankful to Chuck and Eagle Manor for helping us to make it happen.

We recently visited Eagle Manor for a tour and immediately fell in love with the wonderful place. My fiance and I were a little worried on the drive out because of the remote location, but we were amazed when the pines opened up to this incredible mansion house that looks like a cross between the Dickinson House and Monticello. As we drove down the driveway we were completely floored by the river view on the other side of the house. The mansion literally sits on a hill overlooking one of the most beautiful waterfronts you have ever seen with this huge deck with a trellis and and equally large boat house with it's own catering kitchen. The lawn on the waterfront is going to be perfect for our tent and can easily fit our 250+ guest list. Erin, the event manager, gave us this great tour of the mansion house. It seems like there was a fireplace in almost every room and all the bathrooms are marble most having claw foot tubs and old fashioned fixtures. You could get lost in the house. It has two wings with lots of twists and turns and even has a spiral staircase. Erin also brought us on a tour of the rustic barn which seems like the size of a football field. It almost makes me want to switch from a waterfront wedding to a barn wedding. My fiance also liked the Game House, which is like this mini man-cave house where you can play XBox, play pool, air hockey, and fussball. Chuck, the owner, told us that there were no sound restrictions since they are surrounded on all sides by miles of preserved space. We were also floored by their prices. Chuck said they were so low because they had just opened and they were looking to break into the market. We are so excited that we found our dream location!

After touring 10 other possible venues for our wedding we visited eagle manor and booked our date that day. Its breath taking! The grounds, the estate, the barn, the boathouse, the backdrop of our ceremony and reception being the Cohansey River! There was no question this was the place we were searching for! Chuck & Erin have been very helpful answering questions & directing me to awesome vendors fromtents to ice to help make our day perfect! I highly reccommend checking this place out it does not dissapoint!

I don't know where to start. From the moment we found out about this location we were excited, and that level of excitement grew exponentially once we actually toured the location. From the 10 bedroom mansion, awesome view of the lake, to the beautiful deck sitting out on the river..its hard to say exactly what we loved the most. It was only our second venue viewing, but after visiting this one my bride to be simply looked at me and said no need to look further. All in all I had to pat myself on the back for I found it myself, and I am now going to give my future wife the wedding of her dreams. Thanks Chuck and Erin for helping us make our dream wedding a dream come true! Can't wait..11 months and counting!!!

My bride and I recently visited the property and booked the same night. The entire property is gorgeous. The mansion has been very nicely renovated while still keeping its historic charm which is very important to us. Chuck has taken possibly Cumberland County's best kept secret and turned it into a perfect destination wedding venue. We cannot wait to get married here!

My fiancé and I recently visited the property, and we absolutely loved it! Between the mansion, the boat house, the barn, and all the gorgeous scenery, you can have just about any kind of wedding, or event there at any time of the year! Chuck, the owner, was also very welcoming, and was able to give us a full tour of the place! We would definitely recommend the property for your special day, or even a nice little get away with close family and friends!

Absolutely breath taking venue on such beautiful grounds! I am a photographer who just got back from capturing an engagement session for one of my couples at Eagle Manor. Wow everywhere we went it was so photogenic! Our session lasted hours because everywhere we went we kept finding amazing spots to photograph! The owner Chuck was so hospitable and kind to us. He showed us around his gorgeous venue and even allowed us to shoot inside of his barn! The barn brings in the such amazing dramatic lighting I can't wait to capture a wedding at this magnificent venue! It is definitely worth checking out and once you take a tour definitely book! There isn't a space like this in our area!

I recently visited Eagle Manor with my finance and we loved it! Chuck and Erin were so welcoming and helpful. they have really put a ton of amazing work into the estate. The property can be used in so many ways to really make your day special. I would say it's worth the visit, if not just to see the house.

Eagle Manor is absolutely stunning! My fiance and I visited Eagle Manor and spoke with both Chuck (the owner) and Erin(the caretaker). They were both willing to help with any special requests we have to ensure our day is perfect. We were highly impressed with the grounds, the manor, and the additional buildings we will have access to. Eagle Manor is going to make for an extremely fun and unique wedding experience. We love that we will be able to celebrate with our family and friends for an entire weekend (or maybe week if we book for longer!), not just got 4 or 5 hours. Eagle Manor is perfect for any kind of wedding and is certainly worth a visit to prove it!

I recently visited Eagle Manor to tour for a possible wedding venue and immediately booked for a week. The place is absolutely amazing! We can’t believe it’s been hidden down here all these years. It’s always been private, but the owners just renovated and its now open to the public. It’s a historic waterfront estate in a secluded setting along the Cohansey River in South Jersey. It was built when George Washington was a baby, but it’s completely modernized. We felt this was a perfect spot for our getaway with family and friends. We can’t wait for the wedding! The rental included the entire estate which comes with the 10 bedroom mansion house which will easily fit our large group. The huge river deck is perfect for our reception and there is a beautiful campfire pit right next to it. There is also a game house where the kids can hang out and play pool, foosball, and air hockey while watching cartoons on the big screen TV. After all the work that goes into planning a wedding, it’s going to be nice to have time to relax, celebrate, and enjoy the company of our guest instead of it being over in just a few short hours. We’re very excited to make many memories at Eagle Manor for years to come!
