Earl & Wilson Event Center

We had our wedding at Earl and Wilson recently and it was fantastic. We had some fairly unique requests for the wedding around things like serving homebrew, setting up a chuppah indoors, and a couple other special touches that aren't necessarily part of your average wedding. Earl and Wilson worked with us on all of our special requests and made them all happen. They're very timely in their communications and have responsive staff members. The venue itself is gorgeous. We got a lot of compliments about how lovely the space was and how fun the history of the building was. We had ~125 people at the wedding which was the perfect size to use the 1880 room for our ceremony and then the 1900 room for the reception. Not having to do a room flip in an indoor space was great, it saved us a bunch of time and money as well as made all of our vendors lives easier too. They have 2 great separate getting ready spaces for the couple as well. I think the only thing that was tough about seeing the space was there aren't many pictures of the grooms getting ready room in the digital tour/pictures of the venue. Overall Earl and Wilson was a great venue and a fair price for everything they provided. If I had one thing to say that I didn't like it was dealing with the street parking. There is a parking lot across the street you can rent, but if you want the street parking right in front of the building for vendors/shuttles you have to go through the city of Saint Paul public works department to reserve them. Not really the venues fault, but it took us months of get it all sorted out with the city, so be prepared to spend some time with that. In the end though, it was absolutely worth it.
