He also made recommendations about the lighting and setting of the ceremony, which made all the difference and definitely saved the day in terms of good photos. Our ceremony was delayed 45 minutes due to weather and Jonathan worked quickly and efficiently to obtain pictures in a time crunch. I requested artistic photos and candid shots that captured me, the groom and our guests "in the moment". And Jonathan delivered. The pictures are amazing. All of our friends and family who have seen the pictures online have commented on how "amazing" they turned out, how "impressed" they were and on what an "awesome job" Jonathan did. I would highly recommend Jonathan for weddings and any other special occasion. I will fondly look back at the pictures for years and years to come. He was always asking me (the bride) things about timing and shots I wanted and he had several of his own ideas too, which we love! Overall, in comparison to other photographers, the price was very reasonable (even with a second shooter). I have told Jonathan on multiple occasions that he should be charging more for the high quality work he produces! Not only did Jonathan shoot our wedding, he also shot our engagement photos, which came out marvelous! He even went out of his way to get the shot--driving us all the way up to Georgetown and Guanella Pass (a total of 8 hours on this session). On the day of the wedding, he took photos from hair and make-up, all the way up until the last song played (it must have been a 13 hour day)! Jonathan was organized, meticulous, and very patient with us and our families. We are so grateful to have chosen him! I promise you will be very happy with the work and service from EJP.

I'm not an easy person to photograph, but he did it...pretty well might I add.Needless to say, we used Jonathan at our Oct 2014 wedding in Estes Park. our engagement photos. My fiance and I are on a very tight budget but seeing as the photos are, in my opinion, one of the most important aspects of a wedding, I didn't want to skimp on quality. Back home in Illinois I have a number of photographer friends and have found that I am extremely picky when it comes to a photographer's composition and style. I was afraid I would have to settle for photos I didn't LOVE in order to stay within our budget. NOT THE CASE!! After searching high and low I finally found a photographer I could afford and with obvious talent. When it came time for the actual shoot I had no idea where to actually go (still very new to the area) and had no idea what to expect. Jonathan was amazing! He completely held my hand through everything and even somehow managed to put my fiance at ease (he hates his picture taken). The shoot was super laid back and, dare I say it, FUN! Jonathan has a way of making everything seem easy and has an obvious talent for what he does. If I weren't getting married back in Illinois I would ask him to do our wedding photos too! Could not be happier with the photos, the photographer, the price and the entire experience as a whole!
