Our stylist made us look and feel SO beautiful on my wedding day. Whether it was my MIL who doesn’t usually wear makeup or myself as the bride, they enhanced all of our beauty so naturally so we felt like ourselves. They were a joy to have in the bridal suite and helped keep everything calm and moving quickly, even with the hectic wedding day schedule. Whether some of us came in with exact pictures, or a general idea of how we wanted to look, we all felt perfect. Communication was quick and easy, even in their busy season! I would recommend them to any of my friends!

EvaMarie and Stacey were amazing on my wedding day and throughout the planning process. I had questions prior to booking with Eva that she answered over the phone, and when I had my trial I felt immediately at ease. As someone who wears natural makeup at best, I felt that Eva was perfect for me and brought out my best features with very little guidance from me. Throughout the planning process, there were a few times she took some time to respond to emails, but always answered all of my questions. The day of the wedding went smoothly, we were even ahead of schedule. She even offered to help my brother fix his hair because he needed a little help. EvaMarie did my hair and makeup for my engagement shoot and for my wedding and she is incredible! She really listens to what you want and if, like me, you were unsure of how you wanted your make-up done, she will walk you through a series of questions to find your “style.” This is also an incredible asset if you’re having older relatives get their make-up done like parents or grandparents who aren’t going to be scrolling through Instagram or Tiktok for inspiration. She’ll make sure everyone feels like movie stars but still looks very much like themselves. She also did an amazing job making me feel relaxed. As soon as I sat down in her chair, she helped me let everything else go and just enjoy the moment. Both EvaMarie and one of her regular partners, StaciLyn Beauty, moved through 18 services in ~7 hours on my wedding day and they stayed completely on time. Everyone was beautiful, had a chance for touch-ups, and were photo ready exactly when needed. My family mostly includes long, thick, curly hair and they still managed to stay on time and treat all of our curls with the love and respect they deserve! I had a low bun style and my hair stayed in and secure throughout the entire day and night despite the June heat/humidity and having an entirely outdoor wedding (ceremony + reception)! She often uses more conditioning products than hair sprays for curly girls and that helps your hair look and feel just as nice the next couple of days! If you’re a curly girl and struggling to find someone who understands your hair needs, definitely talk to EvaMarie!

Booking my hair & makeup services with Earth Tones Artistry was the first wedding planning decision I made - and one of the easiest. EvaMarie made sure to fully understand what I was looking for & executed it perfectly, while maintaining a laid back, calm presence that was exactly what I needed the day of my wedding. I can honestly say that my wedding day was the most beautiful I have ever felt, while still feeling like MYSELF & comfortable in my own skin. EvaMarie and her team were INCREDIBLE! I wanted myself and my bridesmaids to have a natural look, while also feeling glam and beautiful. Her company's name is true to its word: earth tones! Each and every bridesmaid had a different style of what they liked and EvaMarie and her team brought it to life in the most gorgeous and natural-looking way. She is insanely brilliant at creating a flawless foundation on your face that makes you feel like you--not at all caked on. My fiance's one request was for me to look like myself after the makeup and he said EvaMarie nailed it! It was me but with a little extra shine :) She is the most easy-going and relaxed person to work with--we never ever felt stressed or rushed for time. I would 11/10 recommend her for any occasion you have where you want to feel radiant, relaxed and special!

Eva and her team were fantastic! Eva was so warm and skilled during my bridal trial a few months ago and killed it on my wedding day. She and her assistants knocked out hair and makeup for myself, several bridesmaids, flower girl and mother of the bride and groom. Eva was super patient and sweet with my young flower girl. Our hair and makeup done that morning lasted through hours of photos and dancing!

I hired EvaMarie for my wedding day and could not have been happier with my decision! I knew I wanted darker makeup that still looked natural and she perfectly captured my vision. Not to mention how adorable and homey her studio was! I had the best time not only at my trials but on my wedding day. EvaMarie was such a special treat while getting ready on my wedding day! She felt like part of the whole bridal party and we all felt so comfortable. From the initial discussion to my trial she really listened and understood what my vision was for a natural glam look and executed it perfectly. Earth Tones was wonderful to work with. Being a part of someones wedding morning festivities and creating their wedding day look is a big task, and Eva and her team were the best. I enjoyed working with Evamarie so much!! She provided hair and makeup for my wedding at the end of April, and had a wonderful time. I don't wear a lot of makeup and I never do anything to my hair so I was very cautious about doing my hair and makeup professionally and not feeling like myself. Evamarie is so direct, honest, thoughtful, and supportive, I felt right away that she clearly knew what she was talking about, which put me at ease right away. I really enjoyed our trial, and how she put in time to get to know me, my skin type, my preferences, and what my vision was for my hair and makeup. She provided her professional perspective and opinion (eg, encouraging me to try false lashes) but also let me be myself and let me lead (eg, not making a big deal when I ultimately decided against them) the process. And when I sent her quite a long email after the trial with specific and detailed notes, I was nervous that it would come off as a bit insane (lol) but she took all of it super earnestly and I couldn't be happier with the look that I had on the day of. I also just really enjoyed her personality, and how calm, collected, and chill she was throughout. I had a small wedding, and no formal wedding party, so it was only myself and my best friend getting ready together, but there were still some nerves, and I really enjoyed having her there to help kind of guide the morning and start the day off on a good note. I can't recommend her enough!

Evamarie and her team were incredible, and I looked (and felt) exactly how I'd dreamed of on my wedding day. I was nervous and even hesitant to commit to doing makeup on my wedding day, as I'm not someone who tends to wear much and wanted a natural look/feel, but once I found Earth Tones, I had a sense that it's something I'd want to do. Evamarie's calm, supportive, and nonjudgemental presence was exactly what I'd hoped for in a hair/makeup artist, and the family members of mine who also aren't used to makeup felt extremely comfortable in her presence. Everyone loved how they looked and felt like themselves. For anyone who isn't sure whether professional hair/makeup is for them but wants to give it a try (or even those who are sure!), I couldn't possibly recommend Evamarie more. I can't rave about EvaMarie enough. She had such a calming presence the morning of my wedding, she listened to what I wanted, and was able to give me a natural look that was absolutely perfect. Usually I don't get makeup done for weddings because I always feel like I look weird, but what she did was amazing. I still looked like me, just an enhanced version of my day-to-day make-up. She also did an amazing job with my hair (I have a lot of it). She was able to do a beautiful up-do that stayed in all day and was exactly what I wanted. I HIGHLY recommend EvaMarie and Earth Tones. I am completely obsessed with EvaMarie and her dream team. Every step of the planning, the trial, the changes.... EvaMarie rolled with it and made sure that I as the bride was comfortable and happy with everything. Eva absolutely saved the day for our wedding. We had her scheduled for makeup, but at the very last minute, my hair dresser cancelled on me, and Eva came through with hair people for us as well! Eva and her team were so amazing and made us all look and feel beautiful!!! The morning of my wedding was so lovely and relaxing - Eva and Staci made it so easy for us. Eva got my look even better than the images I had showed her. The hair stuck perfectly despite a ton of dancing. And when I look back at photos I love my look and still feel like I'm myself. I highly recommend EvaMarie and Earth Tones! My daughter was married last June in Philadelphia, which was a "destination" wedding for us. My daughter wears very little makeup. Her concern was that she would be painted up and not look like herself. In addition, my daughter was not able to make a trip from NY to Philly area for a trial run. However, she was able to communicate her makeup and hair desires via numerous emails/calls prior. EvaMarie and her team exceeded all of our expectations!!! My daughter could not have been happier with her natural makeup look and updo. Each bridesmaid commented that the hair and makeup were the best they have ever had done. A very high compliment from this group of very particular women! Finally, as the MOB, I can say I felt like a million bucks with my natural makeup look and hair. We all looked gorgeous! I could not recommend Eva and her team enough!! I should start with the fact that I am not a makeup person and was very lost when it came to what I wanted or should do as a bride. Eva was recommended to me from my sister’s friend and I was attracted to her emphasis on natural products and a natural look on her website. I loved the makeup at my trial but decided before the wedding I wanted a little more and try fake lashes (for the first time) - she was more than willing to accommodate and make the last minute changes. I wanted to still feel like myself just more elegant and done up and Eva perfectly achieved that. She was also very easy to coordinate with - I had to unfortunately change our trial time last minute at least twice due to work scheduling conflicts and was so easy going and flexible. Plus, her studio is the cutest A-Frame you’ll ever see. All of my bridesmaids and the MOG and MOB were extremely happy with their looks too. I could not recommend Eva and her assistant Charli enough!

Searching for beauty services was the most daunting part of planning our wedding, but once we hired Earth Tones everything clicked right into place. I am not typically someone that likes a lot of makeup and Evamarie was so reassuring in making me feel like my natural beauty was being highlighted, instead of covering everything. Evamarie and Charlie were our artists for the day and what amazing artists they are! Everyone that got their hair and makeup done could not get over how good it was (as well as anyone that saw the pictures), as well as how pleasant the team was to work with. I cannot say enough good things about Earth Tones and thank them for making me feel so good and confident on my wedding day.

I stumbled upon Earth Tones through pinterest & when I found out the company was in Philadelphia, it was a no brainer! I loved the messy, lived-in hairstyles that covered their instagram. Eva was absolutely amazing! From boho braids to polished buns, she nailed every look… & she even helped tame the groom’s curly hair in August heat! Eva was awesome helping me chose my hairstyle for the wedding, & even did a day of switch to a half up/half down since I wasn’t a fan of my trial style. 100% recommend Earth Tone Beauty for your big day!

I can not recommend Earth Tones and EvaMarie enough! I was very nervous when looking for a hair/makeup vendor because I have had some terrible makeup for weddings in the past. I was looking for a very natural look for me and my girls and EvaMarie and Natalie nailed it! EvaMarie was so friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the whole process. She was able to execute exactly what I wanted and helped me look and feel like myself on my wedding day. She was very personable and fit in seamlessly during the morning of the wedding while we were getting ready.

Eva was recommended to us by our photographer as I was having difficulty finding a makeup artist that did more "natural" beauty as I have a face full of freckles it was important to me to have them show through the make up the day of my wedding and once I saw Eva's work, I knew it was a perfect fit! Eva was easy to communicate with, schedule trials, and she did my makeup and hair for our engagement pictures. The day of, everyone looked absolutely beautiful and their makeup lasted all day (the hand massage was a nice relaxing touch the morning of!). All of the bridesmaids and myself got compliments all night about how well the makeup lasted. Charli was at our wedding as well, and did a great job! I would highly recommend Earth Tones!

EvaMarie is a great makeup and hair artist with a knack for creating effortless yet glam looks. She is a great listener and comes fully prepared, is very professional. I had tried 2 artists before but they couldn't get my skin tone correct, that was my only ask coz I don't wear much makeup anyways but wanted to look my best (not dramatically different) at my wedding reception. Eva did a wonderful job with my hair and makeup both at the trial and the day of. She gave me her full attention even at he trial and went overtime and beyond till she was herself satisfied! I was fortunate that she had an opening just a month before my wedding! I read her profile and knew I could trust her, and meeting her in person confirmed that. She is very sweet too! As a bonus she cares a lot about sustainability and uses specific earth friendly products. I ended up buying the foundation myself after.

I honestly cannot recommend EvaMarie and her team enough. As someone who has never been happy getting my makeup done, I was so resistant to hiring a hair and makeup team for my wedding—but decided to do so at the request of my bridal party. I did two trials with EvaMarie prior to my wedding day due to my indecisiveness with what I wanted, but both times my hair and makeup came out amazing. Her technique is so natural and made me feel like I still looked like myself, just better. I had such a diverse group of bridesmaids, some with curly natural hair, some with super thick course hair, and the Earth Tones team made everyone feel beautiful. EvaMarie also has such a calming presence that it was such a good energy to have on the hectic morning of the wedding. We all had so much fun getting ready, we were ahead of schedule and didn’t need to rush at all. There was plenty of time left for touch-ups before we needed to leave for the venue. Eva did makeup for myself and my wedding party this past April and I honestly cannot say enough good things about her work! I am not someone who wears makeup regularly and was actually skeptical about getting makeup done for my wedding. I could not be happier that I decided to go for it and bring Eva in. She was patient and listened to what everyone wanted, and was attentive to the diversity of preferences and comfort with makeup among myself and my wedding party. Her work was also GORGEOUS. Everyone looked amazing and their makeup looked impeccable the entire night. Earth Tones was probably the best vendor I had for my wedding. Eva Marie is an absolute gem. From the trial to my wedding day, she was totally professional and personable every step of the way. EvaMarie was my hair stylist, and she was great! She had no issue with me changing my mind last minute, and she was very responsive whenever I reached out. She even traveled out of her way for my wedding when no one else would. My final hair look was beautiful!

We had a wonderful experience working with Earth Tones! My dream look was Hollywood glam curls but I have very fine, hard-to-curl hair so I was nervous this wouldn’t be an option. During our consultation call together, EvaMarie was confident she could pull this look off (without extensions too!) and even offered suggestions for how to compliment my hair just from what I described. It was clear just from that call that she had a vision, which was so reassuring. I knew we would be in good hands. The hair and makeup trial was an absolute blast! EvaMarie came to my home and we worked through a few hairstyles…ultimately settling on the glam curls I had envisioned which looked stunning! She also created an incredible full coverage but natural glam makeup look that made me feel so beautiful and truly like myself. The trial made me so excited and confident for wedding day! On the day of, we worked with EvaMarie and Jeannine. They arrived promptly and created gorgeous looks for my bridal party, mom, MIL and myself. We even ended a bit earlier than anticipated which allowed for final touchups. I felt so beautiful and my curls lasted all night long!! Cannot recommend Earth Tones highly enough!

We had a great experience with EvaMarie for hair and makeup for my wedding. She managed the time perfectly and did gorgeous hair and makeup for myself, my MIL, sister, and MOH. Most of us gave very little direction and trusted EvaMarie's creative direction and loved how it came out. My MIL is still talking about how much she loved her hair and makeup a month later! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a more natural feel on their wedding day. We all felt perfectly glam but still like ourselves.

We were lucky enough to have Eva Marie do hair and makeup for our small and casual wedding. She did an amazing job with natural looks for 3 people with very different skin tones and hair textures, and asked great questions to get a sense of what we wanted. A trial hair/makeup session was not needed nor was it missed because of how great she made us look day-of. The hair and makeup lasted HOURS without caking/smudging, and looked really nice in pictures.

Where do I even start with this amazing group of women. Earth Tones was hands down the best decision I made for my wedding. From the start, EvaMarie made everything stress-free and made me feel like I was her only priority. Then, working with Natalie and Charli was one of my favorite parts of my wedding day. Natalie made me feel so comfortable during my trial and made me look absolutely flawless. I am not someone who wears a lot of makeup to start so I was anxious about how my makeup would turn out. After my trial, I knew I had made the best decision. My bridesmaids (13) and mothers (2) were all gushing over their make up. Throughout the night many guests asked me who did the makeup for the bridal party. I cannot recommend Earth Tones enough!

I am so glad I booked Earthtones for my wedding! My makeup artist was Natalie, and she was such a ray of light throughout the entire morning. She did my makeup, my bridesmaids’, and my mom’s. Everyone RAVED about her! She made us feel so special and cared for. I also did a makeup trial with her in the summer, which was so much fun. I don’t wear makeup other than lipstick in my day to day life, so the fact that she was able to make me feel comfortable and beautiful with lots of makeup on was so important to me. EvaMarie did makeup for me, my mom, and bridesmaids on my wedding day, and she did a fabulous job on all of us. I didn't want anything overly-glam but more wanted a soft and natural look and it turned out absolutely perfect. She was punctual, professional, and so sweet. She took her time and we never felt rushed. The products she used were comfortable to have on for many hours, and even at the end of the night, my makeup looked great. She was flexible with me using my own mascara and lipstick too. I would definitely recommend EvaMarie and Earth Tones Artistry!!

I cannot say anything less than amazing. Eva Marie was a pleasure working with starting with the hair and make-up trial. She made my friends and me feel welcomed in her home. The day of they managed with a single windowed hotel room and both Charli and Eva Marie did magic. My officiant felt so beautiful with her face feeling light and natural with the makeup. My own mother, who can be picky was absolutely in love with her makeup. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day thanks to Eva Marie. She was able to make adjustments from our trial run and it came out so beautiful. The bonus was it stay up all night with all the dancing!.

Working with EvaMarie of Earth Tones was a fantastic experience from our initial conversations, trial, to my wedding day. I had a small but diverse wedding party and it was important to me that everyone receiving hair and makeup services felt comfortable and beautiful on the big day and Earth Tones was very clear about their ability to meet that request from the very beginning, which they absolutely did! Their use of environmentally conscious products was another key factor in booking them. Not only are the brands and products they use environmentally friendly, but long lasting! I cried all throughout the sweetness of my wedding day and nothing budged! EvaMarie went above and beyond throughout the experience and even stayed late to make sure my veil was on and secure. They also made sure to honor any changes/requests I had from between the trial and the big day, and I felt so affirmed and like myself on the wedding day. I felt like the most beautiful version of myself on my wedding day and I think that’s the most important thing. I’m not one to wear a lot of make up or do my hair on a daily basis, and Eva Marie understood that and didn’t make me someone I’m not. I loved that she used sustainable and ethical products so I could feel good about that too. When Eva Marie arrived at our Airbnb morning of my dad said “I think one of your friends is here” so she fit right in and made all of us feel comfortable and at ease that morning. Charli did an amazing job with all of the makeup for my mom and bridesmaids. I would absolutely use Earth Tones Artistry again!

My bridesmaids and I loved our experience with EvaMaria! I had a great trial with her and she was so open to listening to how you like your makeup and hair to look and really making sure to tailor it to your taste. I'm not big into huge glam and she did a perfect job of making the makeup look natural but also stand out in the best ways. She was so personable and we had a great time chatting with her while we got ready in the morning. She also did my mothers hair and makeup and did a wonderful job on a mom who can be picky about her look ;) Overall we absolutely loved the experience and couldn't recommend her and her team more!

EvaMarie and Charlie are amazing! Earth Tones Artistry uses products that are natural and lightweight and hold up on a long day. Since I was planning my wedding from a long distance away during the pandemic, I wasn’t able to make it in for a trial run, but EvaMarie nailed the look I wanted from a couple photos and great questions. They asked my bridesmaids how they would have done their own makeup and about their skincare routines before getting started - it made such a difference in creating looks that matched each woman. EvaMarie and Charlie were easy to talk to and felt like part of our group. Everyone looked beautiful and like themselves. They brought out everyone’s best features! I would absolutely choose Earth Tones again and have already recommended them to friends getting married soon!

Earth Tones was absolutely amazing! I fell in love right away with the natural and organic glam and was beyond happy the day of the wedding! Everything, from the trial to the day of, was perfect. EvaMarie absolutely NAILED my hair and make up for my wedding. As someone who barely wears makeup or does her hair, I was nervous that I might get an artist who overdid everything, but this was not at all the case with EvaMarie. My makeup was the "barely there" kind, and my hair was the perfect balance of natural/messy and styled. I've never felt more beautiful than I did that day, and I still felt like myself! EvaMarie and her assistant were very professional and enjoyable to be with.

I usually don’t wear makeup and I’ve never liked the work of any makeup artist I’ve used, but Natalie is the real deal! She is personable, easygoing, responsible, caring, and AMAZING AT HER JOB. She made me feel beautiful and calm and the makeup was BULLETPROOF, lasting even with rubbing from my mask for an entire 15 hours of running around Philadelphia! She was super punctual and responsive. Love her and Eva for making my special day that much better.

I can't recommend EvaMarie and Earth Tones enough! I was really impressed with the natural, effortless, beautiful looks she creates and so appreciated the care and attention to sustainable and green products/methods. EvaMarie is incredibly sweet and poised and I felt very comfortable with her right off the bat. She was extremely accommodating and came to my home for my trial (sorry about my dog barking the whole time :[ ) I felt that EvaMarie truly captured the look I wanted but I also trusted her opinion and guidance! She did my hair and makeup so perfect - I wish I could have her do my hair and makeup every day because I felt so pretty and beautiful but I also felt completely myself! I don't wear a lot of makeup or do much to my hair so I didn't want to look like a different person. She perfectly balanced the bright, natural look with what would look great on camera and accencuated all the right features! I felt so special and confident! EvaMarie and one of her assistants, Staci did all my girls' hair & makeup as well and they all were so complimentary! We all had a fun time getting dolled up - I think it was one of the highlights of the day, honestly! All my girls were so happy with their hair and makeup and also loved EvaMarie & Staci!! They were so professional, arrived early and kept us on schedule if not early! Really looking forward to working with EvaMarie again for our reception this December!

EvaMarie did my makeup for my small ceremony this year, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. She is such a calming presence, and she is an expert on how to efficiently achieve the look you want in just a short amount of time. I didn't have much to show her in terms of my ideas for my look, but from a few Pinterest photos and my description, she was able to create a look that made me feel so beautiful on my big day. I told her (and it's still true) I hadn't felt that beautiful in years. Her skill and her attitude combined are truly unmatched: she is a calm and collected ARTIST and I am so glad I hired her. She will be beautifying me and all my bridesmaids next year for the big reception!!

Getting married in the middle of a pandemic is anything but easy and stress free. After rescheduling 3 times and cutting the guest list to 18 (including us) we were finally going to get married. Having EvaMarie there was one of the most relaxing parts of the day! She was so easy to work with and made getting so enjoyable, and this includes having 2 cranky toddlers in the room. I can not recommend EvaMarie and Earth Tones enough. If you are going for a natural look and want to feel pampered and relaxed look no further!

EvaMarie was great to work with! She was so chill and flexible and I was so happy to have one less thing to stress about on my wedding day. I was really looking for someone that I felt comfortable with and could ~vibe~ with because I knew I was going to be so nervous the morning of. The majority of my bridal party wanted to go for a natural "me but better" look but one of my bridesmaids wanted to go full glam - and Earth Tones can do it all! Our makeup all came out perfect and lasted all day. She also gave us tips for how to do minor touchups ourselves just in case. I am so happy I hired EvaMarie to do my bridesmaids and my hair and make up for my wedding. I can't tell you how many compliments I received. Not only was she responsive leading up to the wedding she was also very flexible. I changed my makeup on the day of the wedding and it came out better then I could have dreamed. I never wear much makeup and wear my hair naturally, so I was a little nervous about finding someone to do my hair and makeup for my wedding because every time I've been in a wedding, the stylist has done me up so much I look like a different person. But Eva did an amazing job! She listened to what I wanted and gave me the more natural and comfortable look I wanted.
