While beautiful portraits are certainly part of the experience, my approach goes beyond posed moments to preserve the atmosphere, emotion, and relationships that make every wedding unforgettable. Over the years, I have come to understand that a wedding is about so much more than two people. It is about parents, grandparents, siblings, children, lifelong friends, chosen family, and the countless relationships that helped bring two people to this moment. For a single day, entire families gather in one place because of love, creating moments that can never be repeated in quite the same way again. These are the stories I am always looking for. The laughter shared across a dinner table. The embrace between old friends. The tears that appear unexpectedly during a ceremony. The quiet exchanges between generations. The moments unfolding just beyond the spotlight. It is a tremendous honor to be invited into these spaces and trusted to document them. After more than twenty-five years of photographing weddings, families, and life's milestones, I have learned that photographs often become more valuable with time. Some of the people I photographed decades ago are no longer here, yet their images continue to live on in albums, frames, and family collections. What feels like a beautiful photograph today may become an irreplaceable treasure tomorrow. That understanding is why finished artwork is such an important part of my process.
