During planning were able to visit her workshop and talk through options from her huge array of vases and other unique vessels, as well as see her flower growing gardens. prior to the wedding and between the 75 emails and a trip up to her special warehouse, we worked together to develop a plan that worked for our budget and that I thought would match my future wife & I's flower vision for our wedding day. Jill didn't just match the vision though, she created floral masterpieces that were beyond expectation. Our bride bouquets were like nothing I have ever seen and that love, attention to detail, and special craft extended from those bouquets right down to the tiniest elements of the day like boutonnieres. Jill was a pleasure to work with from the standpoint of admiring her craft and being appreciative of the beauty of the finished product but also in her responsiveness and calm energy throughout the process. Can't recommend EarthGirl highly enough.

time came I would use her for my daughter's wedding. Jill went above and beyond. She bought chinoiserie vases for the center pieces. Each one unique. These were combined with votive candles in lovely holders. She selected the most beautiful flowers and every arrangement was different. Jill personally selected flowers based on the design of my daughter's dress. My stepfather passed two weeks before the wedding. Jill came up with the idea of using the tie he was going to wear in the decorations. She tied it to the Chuppah in a shape that resembled a flower. Her creativity is unsurpassed. We were delighted by flowers in buckets lining the aisle and surrounding the Chuppah. Then onto the dinner where she expertly decorated the tent. My guests could not stop talking about the beauty of the decorations and the quality of the flowers. Jill and the EarthGirl Flowers team are a find. If she is available for your date, hire her. No one will do a better job.

We never felt like we were being up-charged or taken advantage of, and we really felt like her florals and her work were 1000% worth every cent. We were so thrilled by working with Jill that we hatched a secret plan to be her friend, and I've even started helping out at Earthgirl HQ on busy wedding weekends. Seeing everything now firsthand, I can attest to the professionalism and the care that goes into everything she does. There's simply no one like Jill.

They were glowingly acknowledged by all the guests and especially by my daughter. I don't forsee another wedding in my future but if you do, call Jill. (Give her a little more notice than we did!)

I remained in constant communication with Jill over the months after our initial meeting however, I felt that we were still not on the same page. I made another visit in September to re-confirm everything in detail. On the day of our wedding, I was incredibly disappointed with how the flowers turned out. The biggest disappointment were the ‘flowers’ for the ceremony arch. I asked for a simple arrangement to be on one side of the arch, at the top. What I got was a bunch of greenery half way up the arch (and barely any flowers). It was a joke. We also did not see Jill at all on the day of the wedding. There was no ability to ask her any questions as to why things were not as planned as she simply just dropped off the ‘flowers’ and disappeared. The most mind boggling of all were Jill’s actions AFTER the wedding. My husband and I arrived around 9:30 am to breakdown and clean up the barn the day after our wedding and were shocked to find that all of our flowers had been taken along with the vases. I had given some flowers away to guests on our wedding night but left the majority of the centerpieces and my bridal bouquet in the vases so that they’re in water and kept fresh for the next day. We had no clue what happened. We immediately called Jill asking where the flowers had gone. While she claims she thought these flowers were being tossed in the garbage, it appeared to us that she was heading to another wedding and were repurposing all of our pieces, which were mixed in with the other floral arrangements for the next wedding. Upon arriving back at the barn to return what she had wrongfully taken, she was so guilty that she didn’t even have the decency to address what she had done. We were astounded by her actions. Many of our decorations and personal belongings were still at the barn, which is why it was confusing to us that she thought we were throwing the flowers out. If we were throwing them out, we are quite capable of disposing them in the trash. It was a complete lie. If she was sooo kind to throw out the flowers on our behalf, it’s quite odd that upon calling her to find out why she stole our flowers that she drove back to the barn ASAP and brought back the stolen flowers. We didn’t RENT flowers from Jill for our wedding. If the arrangement was a ‘rental’ we would have been more than happy to pay a ‘rental’ fee. As a first timer, I didn’t know florists would come out first thing in the morning (sneakily before we had even arrived) to collect their vases (which is fine), but why did she take the flowers too? That shouldn’t be the case, clearly we had not gotten to the barn to clean yet if most of the decorations are still there. Completely unacceptable. Earth Girl Flowers is to be avoided at all costs.

She was willing to answer a lot of questions up front and a really casual, relaxed approach that was a really nice change of pace after months of wedding planning. I immediately felt like I was talking to a collaborator. My husband and I visited her studio and she walked us through all the different options of vases/props etc. Every decision felt like a conversation and a creative opportunity. I left with a pretty good idea of what some things would look like and a less clear idea on what others would be like (the chuppah for an example was hard to imagine ahead of time) but I felt really comfortable knowing we had a shared vision of what the flowers would look like. The day of the wedding she was prompt and efficient and hand delivered me my bouquet with a smile and a hug.
