The Wedding Reception was last weekend at the MOCA in Virginia Beach. We and our guests were amazed at the food and the presentation. Cathy is thorough, professional and a lot of fun. Our guests said the food was the best they had had. Being the father of the Bride I was particular that my daughters wedding was special and Cathy did that. I would highly recommend her services to anyone planning an event. I hope to use her company again when the need arises.

it took, i had to have East Beach.I cancelled the rest of my tastings after we met with her. Cathy made all my dreams come true. She was very attentive to everything I wanted my reception to be. She always reassured me that everything was going to turn out beautifully and not to stress, and she was right. Many of my guest raved about the food she prepared and some even asked me if we had leftovers. I would recommend East Beach Catering to any bride,that needs a caterer.

going WAY above and beyond! What I liked best about working with Cathy was that from the first moment, she was only interested in what we wanted to offer our guests. There was nothing that we asked for that she couldn't do. Secondly, and almost as important to us, is that once we met with her, she handled it all from there! We wanted to let her do her thing and do it she did! She worked with our venue and handled all the details. All we really needed to do was decided what it was we wanted to eat. Walking into the reception too our breath away! Every station was decorated in the classiest of ways. She incorporated our theme into her presentations. It was absolutely beautiful! Last, but certainly not least, the food was AMAZING! Her staff was exceptional and treated us (bride and groom) like gold! Our guests are STILL talking about how wonderful the food was at our reception. East Beach Catering is most definitely a caterer I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone who wants a memorable experience at their event!

ld two tastings for us, because my husband was deployed for the initial one. She wanted him to feel included, and that meant so much to us! How gosh darn lucky were we?! My husband and I wanted a BBQ theme for our wedding, and Cathy created the most delicious down home cookin BBQ spread that you could ever imagine - BBQ with 4 different types of sauce (including my favorite - spicy NC style!), crunchy cole slaw, the most delicious mac-n-cheese you have ever had, baked beans, hush puppies complete with whipped honey butter, and more! Oh, and did I mention the sweet potato biscuits? They were the first thing we tried at our first tasting, and I was ready to sign the contract right then and there! I loved that Cathy was able to put a "gourmet twist" on a classic bbq idea without taking away from the southern goodness! Cathy was so wonderful at calming me down (I'm a total Type A perfectionist) when I was stressed about the details of the reception and her genuine hug let me know it was all under control. And it sure was! Sadly, it rained the day of our wedding, and we were unable to get married on the beach or have our cocktail hour outside. This meant that Cathy's team had 2 less hours to prepare. No problem! Along with my parents, bridal party, husband, and "wedding planner," Cathy's team did an amazing job making sure everything was set up just right. Throughout the evening, Cathy's staff was very attentive and polite. At the end of the night, I couldn't believe how quickly they had everything taken down and put away. They work like a well-oiled-machine, and it's obvious they have a lot of practice and take pride in what they do. Moral of the story, if I ever need a caterer again in the future, I will look no further than Cathy and East Beach Catering! : )

sitive feedback from our guests. They LOVED the shrimp and grits! The other huge hit was our signature drink, the Bob Marley! We had plenty of food and they packaged up every bit of it for us to have as leftovers. I will definitely use East Beach Catering for any future catering needs and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting an A+ catering company!

y style dining and that worked out just perfect for us. The staff was attentive, pleasant, and none of our guests left with empty bellies!!! I particularly liked the late night snack of pulled pork sliders that we surprised our guests with!!

her-in-law said that she could never eat a crab cake from FL again. It was truly an honor to work with her. They give you everything that you could possibly want. They even helped me come up with a signature drink that matched my navy blue them. We interviewed many other caterers and no one came close to Cathy’s professionalism, menu, or creativity. If you are looking for a caterer she is the one. Many other caterers in Virginia Beach are just so stuck up and Cathy is the farthest thing from that. And her staff at our wedding was amazing. Additionally, they helped us clean up at the end which was priceless. There is not a negative thing that can be said about Cathy or her staff. You would be lucky to have her as your caterer.

In addition to the amazing quality of the service and food, Cathy's prices are unbeatable. She won't charge you for things that you don't need and she is honest and fair. We would recommend her to anyone planning ANY event that needs catering!
