East Cost Catering & Events website caught our attention when seeking out a caterer for our event. Easy to navigate and featuring many meal options we reached out to Jonathan for more information . Jonathan was very informative explaining appetizers, meal options and helping us choose what would work best for our event - right down to the linens and dinnerware available. He offered a private tasting event which featured several delicious entrees and appetizers to sample- making it hard to choose favorites. He was always quick to get back to us and was very easy to work with when wanting to make adjustments or changes. Very professional and great experience! Thanks Jonathan

Best wedding food ever!! We had a great time at our tasting (and even got to bring a couple of friends) and the process working with East Coast Catering & Events was so smooth throughout. We had multiple changes to our menu due to budgeting and John handled everything in an efficient and helpful manner. Our guests loved the food and we did too. Thanks again!

Since our wedding caterer won’t respond to our efforts to contact them to find out what went wrong with our food and rentals, I guess this is how we bring attention to our vendor’s errors that they are just ignoring and avoiding. We would NEVER suggest: “East Coast Catering and Events” (previously “Nashville Events & Catering”) We were so excited to find a local caterer who had reasonable costs with positive reviews, attractive photos, and was then a nice person at our meeting. We created our menu top-to-bottom and the caterer even copy & pasted the text right onto the contract so we had no concerns and thought we’d be free of worry (what an amazing feeling) … BUT THEN … when they didn’t follow half of our menu (even with specific recipes provided), ran out of multiple dishes, didn’t bring all accurate glassware, let alone all the glassware ordered … it was VERY DISAPPOINTING … and even worse, they’ve AVOIDED ALL COMMUNICATION attempts for almost 3 months now!! In a more detailed description, 1. We ordered 3 specific glasses - 1 was missing (champagne flutes for our signature drink of all things), 1 was a different style (a funky chalice instead of a rocks glass), and 1 was properly provided (wine glasses) 2. Main Dish: “Creamy Tuscan Chicken” - was served dry with NO sauce … and the chicken ran out 3. Side Dish: Purple Smashed Sweet Potato with Butter and (provided) Salt Flakes” - was served unseasoned, steamed, in thick slices 4. Side Dish: Sautéed Broccolini w/ butter & s&p - was served unseasoned and steamed 5. No signage on any dishes to communicate any allergies (as requested and agreed to) 6. The BRIDE and a few guests had gluten and dairy issues. They agreed to provide a separate gluten free option for the pasta and dessert specifically. These guests didn’t get to enjoy either dish because it never got communicated it was safe for them to eat. 7. No table displays of any kind and foods was served in standard boring silver chaffing dishes (we shared our vision and specifically that we didn’t want a basic buffet with silver chaffing dishes, and how much we liked what they did with other events through their shared photos, understanding they understood the feeling we wanted with the display) 8. Too many guests commented how quickly the serves snatched up unfinished plates and beverages (frustrating!) We only wanted to discuss a fair partial refund for the lack of delivering on a copy-pasted menu that was never questioned, and then never delivered on. It’s a sad day when you feel like the only validation to address a caterer is to share an honest review.

We had a great experience with Nashville Events & Catering from beginning to end. From the start, Jonathan was always quick to communicate! He met us halfway in Huntsville for our tasting, and helped us to really personalize our wedding food (my husband and I went to Germany a couple years ago, so we wanted to do bratwurst and soft pretzels for our apps). Jonathan and his team made it happen! Their food is truly delicious (especially the smoked meatloaf), and the team is amazing. We knew we wanted to do some fall-inspired signature drinks, and the bartenders gave us a list of ideas to think about. The drinks ended up being a hit with our guests - Most of all, the bartenders had a smile on their faces whenever I saw them, they gave me a margarita shot before the ceremony, and one even helped our planner hold open the doors before I walked down the aisle with my dad. If you want a team that has amazing food & is equally as excited about being a part of your day, Nashville Events & Catering is the team for you!

Nashville Events and Catering was amazing! We lost contact with our original caterer 6 days before our wedding. Jonathan and his team jumped right in with very little notice and made our big day the very best! I cannot say enough great things about Nashville Events and Catering. Jonathan was extremely easy to work with, very responsive, and excellent at communicating. Our food was phenomenal, the display look amazing, and the staff was so great! We received so many compliments on the food and set up. I highly recommend Nashville Events and Catering!

I contacted Nashville events and catering a couple weeks before my rehearsal dinner after my other caterer ghosted me. I found them on Instagram and we were so impressed with their menu and had to reach out. I couldn’t have been more happy with my decision to hire them, they arrived on time, blew my expectations and the food was absolutely delicious and everyone was raving about it. I would 10/10 recommend using them for any type of event. I can’t wait until I have an excuse to use them again!

Everything about the process was so smooth with Jonathan. We picked our menu, got to sample the food, and made our final decisions within a few days. He was super flexible with changes in guest count and with dietary restrictions. All of the food, from appetizers to entrees, was delicious. Highly recommend the steak chimichurri, our guests were blown away!

We hired Jonathan with Nashville Events & Catering for our wedding at The Cordelle and were incredibly disappointed in him as a caterer. Everything that could have possibly gone wrong did; largely due to the fact that he had double booked himself on our wedding day. The truck broke down on the way to our venue and his staff was over an hour and half late to the wedding. Jonathan chose to oversee operations at the other event, not ours. We didn't have appetizers for the cocktail hour and guests went hungry until the very late dinner. His staff was incredibly unprofessional and we heard reports of the staff being rude to multiple guests and vendors. The food was served cold and our guests complained that the portion size was too small. Guests left hungry. Despite the plethora of failures on his part, Jonathan offered an insulting 10% refund. We would never recommend Nashville Events & Catering for your wedding day.

Jonathan was so easy to work with and the food was great! We did a Taco Bar and everyone loved it! His staff was professional and we loved that we didn’t have to worry about anything the day of. We will definitely be making our way out to their Lynchburg storefront when they open! Could not recommend more! 💕

Nashville Events & Catering did my son's rehearsal dinner December, 2020 in Lynchburg, TN. They were easy to work with, prices were so affordable, and the food was fabulous. The groomsmen raved over the meatloaf. I will use them again in the future and will recommend to anyone.

Nashville Events and Catering – Jonathan Austin: Jonathan and his team were awesome to work with. They loaded in so fast and quiet that I hardly knew they were there!! They worked great with my coordinator and all I had to do was show up eat delicious food and enjoy friendly servers! We had Jonathan do a cocktail hour with passed apps (rave reviews for both the bourbon bacon stuffed mushrooms and chicken and waffles) and a buffet dinner service (highly recommend the rosemary chicken in pinot grigio sauce). Jonathan’s team also managed the bar service and did a wonderful job! The food was delicious and one of my bridesmaids even overheard one of the servers commenting on how much they loved working for Jonathan and that he is one of the best in Middle TN! Great food, great service! You will not be disappointed!

The Nashville Events & Catering team is the best! Their hands-on approach, amazing food, can-do attitude made my son's wedding and rehearsal dinner stress free! The staff is terrific and delivers first class service with a smile.

Chef Jonathan of Nashville Events & Catering was kind and understanding. I attended a wedding in Murfreesboro, TN at the beautiful Oaklands Mansion. My son has a severe allergy to gluten and when it came time for the meal chef Jonathan took the time to speak with me personally and inform me on what my son was able to eat. He even made my son a special plate just for him to ensure that there was no contact with any gluten or gluten products. Above and beyond thank you chef Jonathan & Nashville Events & Catering.

A dream came true with Nashville Events & Catering. Every moment of my event was picture perfect. The staff was extremely attentive and the food was fresh and amazing. The Seasonally inspired menus allowed me to share some of my favorite flavors with my guests. Chef Jonathan was absolutely amazing start to finish.

Look no further! Jonathan and his Team provided professional and efficient service at my daughter's wedding (Nov 2, 2019; Promise Manor, Lynchburg, TN.) Working with him in the planning process was painless. He offered unique, upscale menus that were very reasonably priced; very responsive to my questions and very flexible with changes. They arrived on-time, served according to the schedule. We had passed appetizers prior to the meal which were outstanding (stuffed mushrooms, sweet potato tarts, petite cheese pulled pork end biscuits). The buffet items were delicious and beautifully presented. We selected asiago chicken, beef shoulder roast, orange/cranberry pork tenderloin, harvest wild rice, brown butter green beans and roasted butternut squash/brussels sprouts/cranberry/pecan salad. They allowed ample time for everyone to be served; they were very efficient in their teardown and cleanup without imposing on the wedding party. I also rented the table flatware from him which was lovely. I would rate the overall experience with this Team as EXCEPTIONAL. EVERYONE RAVED ABOUT THE FOOD!

Jonathan and his team were absolutely incredible! From our tasting at his home to the amazing dishes he served at our wedding. Not only was his food insanely good and memorable, his staff was awesome! As the Groom, the bartender never allowed me to have an empty drink or have to wait a second for anything. The entire experience with Jonathan and his team were exceptional. "Superb" is honestly an understatement for this company. From the moment they confirmed with me to the moment we said our goodbyes, Jonathan and his crew were excellent. As a Day-Of Coordinator, it's important to find vendors that I can trust to improvise and have the clients' best interest at heart. Without a doubt, that IS Jonathan and his crew. The food was incredible, and the service was much appreciated by everyone. They went above and beyond to help. I can't say enough wonderful things about Jonathan and his catering company. So poised, professional and brought my vision to life perfectly. I can't tell you how many caterers me and my husband spoke to before Jonathan and none of them were willing to create a custom menu that made sense to our wedding. I am a HUGE foodie and Jonathan got that right away. His bartender was amazing - best decision we ever made. I am so happy none of the other caterers worked out because my guests did not stop raving about the food. He will always be my top choice for events.
