The musicians were all so fantastic and talented. The pianist for the ceremony was able to learn an instrumental version of the song I wanted for my processional with no problem. They were able to put together a fantastic setlist using just a few genres and songs we highlighted. And everyone (guests, my husband and myself, even my 90 year old grandmother!) could not stay off the dance floor. Through all the uncertainty, Tom Z. was amazing to work with and we ultimately had a small wedding at home and dinner reception outdoor. The band members did not miss a beat - our ceremony music, first dance, and reception music was great and our families and friends had a blast - this was the first party many of them have attended since the pandemic began so it was a special day all around. Thank you East Coast! What a talented, kind, and professional group of musicians - they can rock any type of wedding and we are proof of that! Even with just a duo playing at our reception and a small group of guests, we all had an outstanding time and Tom and Amy sounded great. We couldn't have asked for more!

He gave us advice on how to best structure the night so everything would flow - and I’m so glad we listened - there was never an awkward lull in music. Our aunts and uncles who usually spend weddings politely tapping their feet at their table all night, we’re up on the dance floor partying it up with the band and singing along to each song. Almost every single guest commented on the band the next day and continue to do so even almost 4 years later! Instead of hand selecting songs to play throughout the night, we gave a few do not play songs, and a few must play songs and the band did the rest. Not only did the band learn our wedding song, but they accommodated our groomsman who ended up singing it and playing guitar while they backed him up - that was one of the most memorable moments of the night. They also learned a new song that’s special to my mom, aunts, and girl cousins which was really special and so appreciated. I can go on and on about how much East Coast Band made our wedding the night of our dreams but bottom line is you will not be disappointed if you book them!

So much energy and talent all on one stage - every one of our guests told us how amazing they were and it was evident that they could totally read our crowd when even all the 80+ year old guests were out dancing alongside our flower girl and the young members of our bridal party. er of 2018 after hearing rave reviews from a family friend and then going to see them ourselves, we didn't even look or go to hear any other bands play. Our very large wedding was originally scheduled for May of 2020, but due to COVID-19 our plans had to change. When we reached out to East Coast about our new plans they were incredibly accommodating and worked with us on the date options we had with our venue to figure out which date would work best to get the same configuration we had originally settled on. After all of that replanning- we changed out plans AGAIN once we realized a 275 person wedding wasn't going to happen in November of 2020. So, with our third plan in place,- a much smaller, 45 person celebration- and with only 1 month notice we went back to Paul who was eager and excited to work with us on figuring out a new set up for the much smaller event. Our crowd was particularly cautious given the pandemic, and our venue did not allow dancing- so we worked with Paul to figure out what would work for our long dinner party. Fast forward to the day of the wedding and man did they deliver! Who knew a dinner party could be so much fun-- they absolutely NAILED our first dance song, took requests from the crowd and even let my husband's father play the guitar with them for a number of songs. They were great at keeping the crowd engaged, even at an unconventional wedding, and EVERYONE commented on how great they were. People were Impressed and had a great time, and we couldn't be more grateful and happy that we chose East Coast Band to work with for our wedding. If you're looking for an awesome band who can adapt to any situation, are easy to work with, who very much LOVE what they do, are down to earth, and fun to be around--- seriously look no further.

ul was incredibly easy to work with and completely prepared for the event, right down to knowing which speaker system to use and how large of a horn section we could get away with (we used their core 8-person band with Eartley and Amy as the lead vocalists, which was perfect). On top of all that, our attempts for a low-key wedding meant that we had no speeches, song requests, cake cutting, etc. -- just three hours of dance music. Luckily for us, Paul understood exactly the vibe we were going for and created an absolutely amazing set list. The music was relentlessly fun -- they moved seamlessly from one song to the next, and it really seemed like they played pretty much every great wedding song from the last 50 years. We are far from musical experts, but from our vantage point the band seemed incredibly talented. All the vocals sounded great (again, Eartley and Amy -- although literally every instrumentalist in the band can also sing), and they kept people dancing throughout the afternoon. One final note to confirm that this is a genuinely good wedding band: after our wedding, several friends asked for their information (and booked them!) for their future weddings. So the many positive comments we received (and which I'm sure everyone receives) were not just empty compliments.

They made the wedding a total blast; guests actually told us they had never heard such a great band at any other wedding. A great band is a really big part of a memorable and successful wedding. Paul, bandleader, is very responsive, easy to work with, professional and charming. We were all blown away by East Coast!

in part due to all of the glowing reviews we read about them saying the same thing. There are a couple things that really make them special. Firstly, they have enormous range. They are able to play Top 40s/R&B, Classic Rock, more modern rock (i.e. Green Day, Blink 182, Third Eye Blind, etc), and everything in between. Secondly, they are not separately managed by one of those management agencies that are on the front lines representing most wedding bands. What that means is that if you book these guys you will plan your music with Paul, who is in the band (and was awesome to work with), rather than a band manager who does not actually play in the band. It also means you're spending less because there's no middleman taking a cut. Paul made it clear on Day 1 that he would work with us to understand the type of music we were looking for and give us the perfect music for us. We wanted our fair share of "regular wedding music" but we and our guests are generally more into rock and so Paul recommended adding Joe as an extra vocalist/guitarist and this guy totally hit it out of the park, especially with the classic rock. He even learned a pretty obscure song for us. I would highly recommend adding him. We could tell Paul is passionate about what he does and then were thrilled to see everyone in the band shared that passion. We're thrilled we booked East Coast!

musician (not sure of his name) played "If I Should Fall Behind" as background music. It is one of my favorite songs and I just loved that addition!! CC was great at getting us organized and running the intro's! Kenny and CC were so much fun and we loved their interaction with the guests on the dance floor. They were both great performers, as were all the members of the band! The horn section was amazing without being overpowering! My friend immediately contacted East Coast after the wedding to book them for her son's wedding! Thanks Paul, for your patience and guidance throughout this process! We all totally enjoyed the evening!

Melissa sang our first dance song and father/daughter dance and absolutely killed it. We had so many people compliment us on our band. The dance floor was full all night and the song selection was amazing. Trust these guys and book them- you won't regret it!

We really liked the fact that we could tailor the number and type of musicians to fit within our budget and our desired musical needs. Some other "bands" that we spoke with simply pulled together musicians as contractors as needed, but East Coast Music employs a smaller roster of musicians that work together on a regular basis. The band had great energy, got the guests up and dancing, played great music, and were interactive with guests on the dance floor. East Coast Music provided an amazing band that everyone loved for a reasonable price.

People told us that they had the quality, sound, and performance of 18 bands combined. SEVERAL people told us that this was the best wedding band they had ever seen or heard -- and we totally agree!!! The dance floor was PACKED the entire night, and that was thanks to Gordon, the whole band, and their amazing talent. And on top of all of that, we had a very unique venue (ceremony on a mountaintop and potentially changing timelines and complicated backup rain plan for the ceremony/reception which impacted the change-over) and Gordon was so flexible and made it work seamlessly. Gordon was also such a pleasure to work with. We really cannot thank him enough or think of a better person to work with. Any time we had a question, he answered it promptly and thoroughly and often called us to discuss -- which was so helpful because he kept us calm and happy throughout the process, especially during times when I was nervous or stressed. We are so grateful for that. Gordon performed so well and his entire band was incredible! They really “read” the crowd and played the perfect arrangement -- song after song was ideal and kept the party going!!! They really live up to their name: The BEST Wedding Band -- ever!!! We really cannot recommend them enough!!!

He called, emailed, and met me in person to ensure we had all the details correct. Paul worked with us to determine ceremony music, cocktail hour music, and reception music. They had a list of songs to choose from and accepted special requests, especially for our first dance. He gave great advice on what songs worked at the right moments. Paul even worked with us and our venue to discuss the sound system since our ceremony was on the beach. Because of this, it went flawlessly. We got to meet Amy at a gig before our wedding. Not only does she have a fantastic voice, she made a point to come talk to us and got us excited. Every time we've heard Eartley, including at our wedding, he's been great. He has an energy about him and got down on the dance floor throughout the night to interact with guests. At one point, when a guest got up to sing a camp song, they were so quick to catch on and play background music as if they knew the song. They were so adaptable as this was not something we had planned. The cocktail hour jazz trio was spectacular. Our guests were complimenting them all night. East Coast, thanks for making our wedding an amazing night full of fantastic music and a great dance party. You killed it!
