Absolutely amazing!!! Shauna and her team were so incredible!!!! They made me and my bridal party feel absolutely beautiful and taken care of!!! I didn’t have a makeup trial but Shauna was kind enough to review my photos over email and make suggestions. I cannot recommend them enough!!!!

Shauna and Laurel were absolutely amazing both for hair and makeup and honestly for hanging out with myself, my MOH, bridesmaids, and my mom! They're both so so sweet, they listened to everything everyone wanted and everyone was blown away how perfectly they did hair and makeup. All our hair and makeup literally was perfect the next morning after a whole wedding, a night of drink by the bonfire, and playing in an arcade until 3 am, so enough said 😂 my girls all loved them! They were both such a calming presence, especially since we had some stress in the morning. 5/5 stars!

Shauna and Laurel were wonderful! They were very responsive and helpful during my trial. They were on-time and professional throughout the morning of my wedding. They are so nice and provided such a wonderful service to me, my bridesmaids, my mother-in-law, my sister-in-law, my officiant, and my mother. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you, both!

Shauna and Laurel were such a dream team for our bridal party! They made us all look so beautiful and feel incredibly special for our wedding day. East Coast Primped was professional, communicative, and made a bride with very little makeup experience feel confident in her wedding look. We definitely recommend them for your wedding!

I found Shauna (hair) and Laurel (makeup) through a friend/ former client of East Coast Primped, but also on the Knot. These two women were not only incredibly sweet and talented, but I felt like I knew them for years on our first meeting. Shauna got back to me very quickly and was very communicative. She advised me on which hair extensions to pick out (my choice/ request, not required) and never made me feel bad for asking questions. Laurel is a wonderfully special person, who knew just what to say when I was feeling emotional about my recently deceased Nana missing my wedding day. They worked with my mom to help her feel her best, which included some changes from trial to wedding day. I had a great hair and makeup trial, which was replicated 100% perfectly. I felt absolutely gorgeous on my wedding day; my makeup was intact at the end of the night despite eating, drinking, happy tears and lots of dancing. I am blessed to have found Shauna and Laurel. Thank you so so so much!!!

Shauna was a joy to work with. She listened to my vision and concerns and really helped me feel comfortable and heard. After the trial, I knew I had picked the right person for the job. She came to my home to do my hair and makeup, as well as that of my mom and bridesmaids. She knew how to handle my thin curly hair, and had great advice for how to make things meet my vision, as someone who doesn't have much experience with makeup. On top of all of that, she was super supportive, welcoming, and inclusive.

Shauna is amazing!! I wanted a slightly complicated style for my hair and she pulled it off flawlessly :) Super easy to get in touch with! Would 100% recommend!

I cannot recommend East Coast Primped enough. From bridal trial to the wedding day, Shauna was so easy to work with and really listened to what I wanted. The hair and make up was gorgeous and so natural, and all of my bridesmaids loved their work!

I could not recommend Shauna more highly!! She and Laurel were the hair and makeup team for our wedding and they did such a phenomenal job. They took the time to understand what each person wanted and brought it to life. They were also so easy-going and warm, and really helped maintain the relaxed and happy atmosphere while everyone was getting ready. You will not regret hiring them!!

Shauna did my haircut & color for the 4 years I lived in Boston, and she is a curly hair magician; I knew when I got engaged that I wanted her to do my hair for my wedding, and I'm SO thrilled she agreed to come to NYC for it. I let her talk me into also doing a makeup trial with her, and I'm so grateful she did--I had been planning to do my own makeup, but Shauna did a much better job than I would have. She clearly has a lot of experience with wedding makeup, and she totally nailed it. The highlights: a light, not-caked-on base with extra coverage only where I needed it (which looked great in person & in photos!) and eyeshadow that suited me so well even our caterer commented on how good it was! And, as expected, my hair was exactly what I wanted. She really knows how to work with & enhance naturally curly hair and created the most beautiful updo for me. Shauna completely understood my vision and the look I was going for and made it happen. She also did a fabulous job with hair & makeup for my bridesmaids and my mom. No one had a specific look they wanted, but even with such little direction, Shauna came up with some really fun hairstyles for each of them that they (& I!) loved. Everyone looked beautiful! Also the hotel suite where we got ready had terrible lighting, and Shauna rearranged some lamps and made it work without a single complaint. Her creativity, adaptability, and skill just made the getting ready process so stress-free. I really can't say enough good things, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for wedding hair & makeup!

I HIGHLY recommend Shauna and East Coast Primped. She truly captured my dream bridal hair perfectly - I have very unruly hair and always worried about how my hair style would behave on wedding day, but thankfully I found Shauna and she saved the day, capturing exactly the look I was going for. My hair stayed in perfectly through a rainy ceremony, a beach walk for pictures amd even all the way through my after party, which ended at 3:30AM! She was patient with me (I scheduled two trials!) and even helped to provide a trial for my mom as well. Her team was incredibly organized, kind and supportive of my HUGE wedding party and everyone was so happy with how their hair styles and makeup looks came out. I feel so blessed to have found ECP!

Shauna and her team are absolutely wonderful! She is quick to respond, talented, and fun to work with. Myself and my bridesmaids were thrilled with our hair and makeup that made us dolled up but still very natural. Everyone's hair and makeup lasted the night. Prices are very reasonable for their great work!

I booked Shauna only a couple months before my wedding based on a friend's recommendation, and could not have been happier! She made me feel relaxed, comfortable, and totally stress-free at my makeup trial and on the wedding day. She did makeup for 7 of us in the hotel where we got ready - everyone looked amazing, even with multiple skin tones and styles to work across. Shauna and her team of stylists are the best. I booked services through East Coast Primped in Fall of 2019 after getting engaged. Fast forward to 2020 and two wedding date postponements, Shauna was completely understanding and flexible to our situation. We finally booked our wedding in October 2021 so Shauna immediately connected me with their team of stylists Kacey for hair and Laurel for makeup. I booked trial appointments with Kacey and Laurel before the wedding. They are both very talented and understood my vision. I had a big wedding party so things got a bit hectic on the big day, but Shauna, Kacey and Laurel were understanding. They did such a nice job styling myself, bridal party (8 girls), a flower girl and my mother in law. It was such a pleasant experience. I felt like a princess and everybody looked beautiful. Thank you! I highly recommend. :)

Shauna was amazing! She was extremely responsive and accommodating. She totally understood my vision when we met for the hair trial. My hair was absolutely perfect for the big day. I could not have been happier with her services!

Words cannot express how happy I am that I had Shauna as my makeup and hair artist for my wedding day! From the moment we connected she has been nothing but professional, supportive and excited for me. I had 15 ladies including myself that needed services, and she went above and beyond to bring a team to ensure we would not only ready on time but feel relaxed and special. On our wedding day, she was prompt and had nothing but a positive attitude. She is very talented and passionate about what she does. I never felt more beautiful. My bridesmaids were blown away by her skills and so were my guests when they saw us! I highly recommend Shauna for your big day, you will not be disappointed.

I am so incredibly glad I got to work with Shauna and Laurel on my wedding day! Shauna came to meet me and do a hair and makeup trial and we clicked, she is a incredible person and I felt like we had known each other for years immediately. She was so flexible when we had to add a few people to our group getting hair and makeup done. When the time came the week of the wedding we touched base to make a plan and on the day of the wedding she and Laurel arrived early to start helping us get ready. We had so much fun working with and getting to know them both. All 7 of my bridesmaids, my Mom, and I got our hair and makeup done and we all felt beautiful! I loved how my hair and makeup came out even better than it did the day of our trial it was better than I had envisioned. The fake lashes looked so real, lasted all day, and they gave us lip kits to ensure our lipstick would last all day and it did. We all danced the night away and by the end of the night my hair and makeup was still looking amazing. I would 100% recommend working with East Coast Primped for your wedding day!

Shauna at East Coast Primped was absolutely wonderful to work with and I would recommend her to anyone, for a wedding or really any occasion!! For most wedding-related things, I was pretty clueless, but for my hair, I had a more specific vision - and Shauna absolutely delivered! She was so knowledgeable, gave great advice when I was unsure about something, and made getting ready a lot of fun. The hair trial was easy to schedule (she has two salon locations, which was a huge help) and as mentioned, I was a little picky, but Shauna made sure my hair looked exactly the way I had hoped and got me so excited about everything coming together. For the wedding day, she came to our hotel and finished everyone's hair ahead of schedule, making the morning even more fun and relaxing. One thing that I think really set Shauna apart was not only how great my hair came out, but also how amazing the bridesmaids' hair looked - and stayed in all night!! How many times have you seen wedding photos where everyone's hair looks great to start but then is a wreck by the end of the night? That was NOT the case with Shauna. Everyone's hair looked as fabulous at the after-party as it did walking down the aisle. I seriously cannot recommend Shauna enough - from start to finish, working with her was a pleasure, plus her prices were reasonable, which can be hard to find. I will continue to encourage anyone in the south shore area to look up East Coast Primped for their hair and/or make-up needs!

Shauna was amazing to work with! I was worried about getting my hair done for my wedding because I wanted it to look perfect but Shauna exceeded all my expectations and I felt absolutely gorgeous on the day of! Would ABSOLUTELY recommend!!

My big wedding in NJ was cancelled due to COVID and my fiance and I still wanted to get married on our date 6/26/20. We frantically planned our small backyard wedding within weeks and I luckily found East Coast Primped on the Knot and so lucky that Shauna was available to do my hair and makeup for my wedding day! I did not do a hair trial because the wedding day was so soon and I just trusted that she would do an amazing job based off of what I saw on her Instagram ! Shauna blew me away with what she did with my hair ! I have her a jist of what I was thinking and she did it but made it her own and it came out perfectly ! The curls and braids were so nice and I received many compliments on my hair ! One of my aunts even took a couple pics of my hair because she loved it so much. I was so happy with my hair ! she also did my makeup and I told her I wanted something natural but also wanted people to see that I'm wearing makeup . she did a wonderful job w my makeup! I wasn't used to something so noticeable because I don't really wear makeup but I felt like a princess and the lip color she chose for me was absolutely perfect ! She was so nice and even helped my mom with her hair by blow drying it out. I'm so happy I found Shauna and I would highly recommend her services!

Shauna is an absolute angel. She is super responsive, within minutes of reaching out about certain things, I would hear back from her! She’s very professional and kind hearted. We had to cancel our wedding and she was so understanding and helpful in the situation.

Shauna was a true pleasure to work with! I had a trial at the spa where I got married and came out in tears thinking I would look awful on my wedding day. By luck I was able to find Shauna on the knot and explain to her what happened in my first trial and what my vision was for my wedding. She gave me a consult via email and we booked the trial for hair and makeup. She was very detail oriented and instead of trying to push her preferences and vision of what she thought I should look like she look inspiration photos I had and created a look that was truly beautiful for me. She was able to make my thin hair that doesn't hold curls and create an amazing half up and down style with extensions I provided accented with simple hair accessories. The hair and makeup stayed in place all night. My makeup looked awesome not only in person but also in my photos. She really listened and understood my vision and created a look that took my husbands breathe away. She's also so much fun to work with and hysterical and was fun to have in the suite while we were getting ready. She will be my go to for any formal hair and makeup I need in the future for sure. She's the best at what she does!

I found East Coast Primped on The Knot while looking for a local stylist for my wedding. At the time Shauna was working in a salon in Southie, and also doing clients hair at their homes, which really intrigued me! Shauna came to my home and did a great job with cut and color and from there we scheduled times to meet leading up to my wedding. By the time my wedding day came my hair was long, healthy and was looking fantastic!! The day of, Shauna and her assistant showed up on time, and worked on myself, mother, best friend, step daughter and my step sons girlfriend. There were tons of laughs and any wedding jitters were gone! I felt truly beautiful the day of my wedding. My make up and hair were literally perfect, and held up immaculately all day!! My favorite take away from this experience is that I gained a new friend in Shauna, and am lucky enough to have her as my stylist too! Shauna is very laid back, easy to work with, very professional and takes serious pride in all her brides! I strongly recommend East Coast Primped for your wedding day beauty!!

Shauna’s amazing and made me look and feel so great for my wedding! As a curly haired girl, I needed someone I trusted to handle my curls. Shauna made my curls look their best and they held up frizz-free through the whole night! I had a couple tweaks I wanted to make to my makeup after my trial and Shauna was so accommodating and adjusted my makeup plan to perfection! She also did my mom and sister’s makeup and hair and they both looked great and loved their looks! Sauna was so organized and efficient. I highly recommend Shauna for any event! Everything from hair trail to my wedding to the day, she was fantastic! She nailed my hair for my wedding took my idea and made it her own! Took my idea and brought it off to the side to off set my bangs with some loose romantic curls! Totally wouldn’t have thought of that. She also kept her cool with a good size bridle party and including a flower girl! My hair stayed in all night and lasted into the next afternoon! Got so many compliments! I loved everything she did for myself and my party everyone looked gorgeous!! She’s so creative, professional & trustworthy!! Would highly recommend her she’s awesome for any formal event or hair styling!

Shauna at East Coast Primped did an amazing job with everyone's hair at my wedding! Everyone loved their look and felt amazing all day - including me, the bride!
