I can't recommend Michael enough! He and his musicians did an amazing job for my daughter's wedding. It was so fun and went so smoothly. The music was perfect and everyone had a wonderful time. All my friends commented on how fun it was. From beginning to end, Michael was professional, detailed and he sure knows how to get everyone dancing!

Mike and East End Entertainment NY were amazing and very professional to deal with. We hired them for our wedding June 2023. Mike sent us a very detailed outline to review and fill out for the day of our wedding. Mike’s communication throughout the whole process was great. He answered his cell phone every time we called. When we asked him to make adjustments to the outline, he made the changes same day and sent them back to us. One of the most professional entertainment companies I have ever dealt with. Mike had everyone on our dance floor the entire night. We received so many compliments after our wedding on how great the music was and how our DJ was able to keep everyone one the dance floor for all 6-7 hours. I highly recommend using Mike and East End Entertainment for any future events.

Michael, the owner of East End Entertainment, is an easy choice! From the first phone call my husband and I had with him, where I found out he used to be a teacher, I knew he was the guy for the job, and he did not disappoint. He was organized, thoughtful, and thorough with all of the planning leading up to our big day. He made suggestions to help us plan, and we are so happy that we had him to make our event so special. He recommended using his beautiful DJ booth set up which fit in perfectly with our venue and aesthetics, and was unlike anything I had ever seen. He also suggested we keep the saxophone player from our cocktail hour, and have him stay throughout the reception. I was not sure about this idea, but as usual, Michael was right and it was a HIT. I would definitely recommend Michael from East End Entertainment for a seamless event.

My wife and I hired Michael Variele at East End Entertainment for our wedding at Southampton Social Club. We had no prior knowledge of DJs in the area, so we were going off of googling. East End Entertainment was the first DJ we found and we are elated that we found Michael. He was a perfect DJ for our wedding. He was extremely responsive during the entire year lead up to our wedding, and was very knowledgable and patient with us as we made last minute changes and revisions to our plans. We knew we wanted to throw a young, cool, vibey wedding, and he certainly delivered. The dance floor was packed the entire night, and when the night ended, everyone was still there waiting for more music because it was that good. He took our vision and particular requests like the ten minute version of Taylor Swift's All Too Well and Picture by Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow and kept our guests dancing all night long. I would highly recommend Michael and his team for any wedding or event.

Starting 8 months out, Mike took us step by step and helped us create our dream wedding. Our venue was in Montauk, NY, but we live in California. He set up Zoom meetings and phone calls at 9-10pm his time to accommodate our work schedules. Do yourself, and your guests a favor … Book them now! We chose East End Entertainment and DJ Michael for our October 2022 wedding after one conversation with him … and it was such a great decision. We had called/ requested multiple companies for pricing and availability, and from the first phone call we knew this company was different than all the rest, and that Michael really loves what he does. We had decided to do a “DIY” wedding, and honestly - probably could not have pulled it off as successful as we did without his help, talent, and personal investment in our event. He was easy to contact over both email and phone, and when we got busy and overwhelmed, he stayed on top of us to make sure that he had all the information he needed. The wedding outline he uses and phone/email conversations helped guide and structure our entire night and he worked to really get a feel for the atmosphere we were trying to achieve … He managed to turn a ballroom in a historical house into a fun, yet classy, dance party that incorporated BOTH my wife’s love for early 2000’s dance music and brought out my 90’s punk/ alternative! While still getting younger family members and parents and grandparents out on the dance floor. We used the North fork Rustic Decor DJ booth (which I’m pretty sure he built himself!) after DJ Michael saw photos of the space and recommended it, and it fit perfectly! And when we stumbled during the cake cutting (we did not have a Maitre D - and neither of us knew what to do next, or who cuts first) … I look up and there is DJ Michael. He had stepped down from the stage and DJ booth, came to our table, and discreetly guided us through it, to flawlessly look like we knew what we were doing! There was at least a few more moments just like this, from nailing our entrance, to making sure we were served first from the Food Truck, and speeches went smooth… If you want your wedding to go seamlessly and have perfect music that gets everyone dancing, this is definitely the one!

We hired DJ Dave for our after party and it was absolutely amazing!!! All of our guests keep talking about how great the DJ was and how they couldn’t sit down once because every song was a banger! People were dancing the whole time!! It was perfection and both Michael and DJ Dave were so attentive and helpful from the preparation to the execution!

We used East End Entertainment for our wedding reception, and we can't thank them enough for making our day even more special. DJ Mike was with us the whole way and always available when we had questions. He listened to our concerns and made helpful suggestions. Thank you Mike and the photobooth team, Tami & Bill, who were marvelous and the photobooth album was a nice surprise!!

We used East End Entertainment as our wedding DJ in Aug 2021 at Oceanbleu in Westhampton Beach. Michael was very easy to work with and very accommodating due to our rescheduling from COVID in Aug 2020. Michael was definitely experienced in the entertainment industry and also knew our venue very well which put our mind at ease in terms of set up/best sound for our wedding. For cocktail hour we used Johnny Ray who was honestly worth every penny. He played all the songs we requested and was super professional and sounded great! For our DJ on the day we had JR, who also was very professional and easy to work with on the day of our wedding. He had played all the songs we had requested and had our guest dancing the entire night! Would highly recommend East End Entertainment for your wedding DJ!

We chose East End Entertainment for lighting and music for our wedding on October 15, 2021 - they did an excellent job! We worked with Michael to create a fantastic entertainment outline for the wedding - a 2 hour performance by Johnny Ray & George for the ceremony and cocktail hour and then DJ JR for the 4 hour reception. The crew arrived on time, set up was seamless, and our guests danced the night away as the band and DJ played every single hit we requested! We've received nothing but compliments from our guests about how great the music was at our wedding and how unique it was to experience both a band and a DJ in the same night! My husband and I are so happy we chose East End Entertainment for our North Fork wedding!

We used East End Entertainment for our 9/17/21 wedding at Oceanbleu. Mike and his team were unbelievable. We also booked the percussionist and saxophonist and it was the best decision ever! We originally had to reschedule due to covid and Mike made the whole process very smooth which helped with the stress. We did not sit our entire wedding we even missed the dessert parade because we were too busy dancing lol. Our guests raved about East End Entertainment. If you are thinking of booking them for your wedding, look no further! I cannot say enough great things about them!

We hired East End Entertainment for our wedding at Breeze Hill Farm for audio for our ceremony and to light up the apple orchards at our venue. Everything was perfect and the best part, we didn't have to worry about a thing. It goes without saying that wedding planning can be very stressful and there are many moving parts and logistics, East End Entertainment was so easy to work with and the second we signed the contract, everything was out of my hands and completely handled. I was also told by quite a few vendors that sound at our ceremony wouldn't be possible given there was no power, but this proved to be untrue and the system that we were provided with worked perfectly and was unobstructive to any of our ceremony photos.

My husband Mike & I had SUCH issues with Covid & having to reschedule our wedding too many times to count. Happily, on August 15th, 2021 we were finally able to get married in front of our family & friends. The venue looked great, the food was delicious but our favorite part was the music! I have SUCH different taste in music than Mike. I love the 90’s & have a borderline obnoxious obsession with Christina Aguilera. Mike likes an older genre & loves the Beatles. When planning with our DJ (also named Michael) before the wedding, we both felt heard & very excited to see how Michael would pull off our strange mix of music. The entire wedding, we danced with our friends & family until our feet were numb. What more can you ask for? I sang my favorite songs so loudly the entire night that I had no voice the next day. Everyone kept coming up to me saying that this was the best music they had ever heard at a wedding. We are both so grateful to Michael & East End Entertainment. He set a fantastic tone for our wedding & Michael is such a friendly & flexible person. Thanks again!!

We just got married in October 2021 at Oceanbleu in Westhampton & are beyond happy that we chose East End Entertainment. The music at our wedding was crucial to us & something I was nervous to book. We just wanted a nonstop dance party & we got EXACTLY that. I truly could not be more happy with the way everything turned out- every song that DJ Michael played was just banger after banger as the night went on! My guests told me the next day how awesome the music was- we went for oldies mixed with some pop songs. Michael was amazing to communicate & work with. Timeline & choosing songs was a stressful part of wedding planning to me because we genuinely cared about having a fun dancing wedding night… he made it SO much easier for me. We had a few phone calls & he reassured me that he has been doing this for many years & just helped me with the timeline to ensure the night flowed beautifully. He couldn’t have been more right. You can tell in a second he has a lot of passion & knowledge- Michael made me feel as if I have known him for years! Our performance featured DJ Michael for our reception with the string quartet for our ceremony & cocktail hour. We also included the ‘Hamptons Beachwood White Frontboard’ with the White Decor Speakers which I have to say matched our venue PERFECTLY- it makes more of a difference than you may think! Looked very clean, crisp & professional. Michael was really great at reading the room & keeping everyone on the dance floor- no exaggeration we danced all night, there wasn’t one song where people lost interest. The string quarter was SO beautiful- truly an amazing touch; our guests were so impressed. We had seen a string band at our friend’s wedding & that’s where we got the idea from- it ended up being exactly what we pictured. They even learned an extra song for me for our recessional that I thought of …2 weeks before the wedding to make it unique! We would recommend East End Entertainment over & over again so please don’t hesitate & don’t be stressed! Our only issue is that the night went by too quickly!

Using East End Entertainment was our best decision for our 10/16/21 wedding. We had Michael as our DJ throughout the night and Meghan on the violin for our ceremony. I booked with Michael right away before even reaching out to any other DJ's because just by talking with him once on the phone, you could tell he was amazing and that he really takes pride in his work. Meghan on the violin was the perfect touch for making our ceremony even more romantic and perfect then we could have imagined. Michael provided us with a sheet to fill out songs we would like played/we didn't want played and he executed it perfectly, the dance floor was never empty. We had so many guests, even still to this day say it was the best wedding and they have never seen so much dancing before!! Besides just the music, East End Entertainment has really great equipment that also looks nice. Michael set us up with a beautiful frontboard & white speakers that matched our rustic theme perfectly. Lastly, a week or two before the wedding, Michael generously added on a wireless speaker so that everyone in our venue (upstairs and downstairs) could hear the music no matter where they were. 10/10 would recommend Mike and his company’s services. He had my wedding guests on their feet the entire night. The guests could not stop talking about what a great job he did. Before the event we had gone through what my husband and I expected and wanted for the day. I gave Mike a short list of must play songs and from there he came up with a perfect playlist for the night. Mike was also very easy and professional to plan and communicate with leading up to the day of. Could not say enough good things about his services.

We loved working with Michael, DJ JR, and East End Entertainment! Throughout the whole process, Michael was extremely communicative and responsive. We had expressed that my family doesn't dance and isn't into loud events, and my husband's family was into dancing and celebrating. Michael totally understood what we wanted. DJ JR executed the perfect event, at the perfect volume, and no one felt pressured to dance at all. DJ JR played everything we wanted, and everyone loved what he did! He was kind, professional, and checked in with us during the wedding to make sure everything was great, which it was! We are not flashy, and DJ JR also made our entrance perfect. The whole day was absolutely perfect thanks to Michael, DJ JR, and East End Entertainment!

Him and his team are amazing and love to make the event exactly what you want! We uplit our entire venue and trees and he created an amazing after party for our guests with a surround system. East End Entertainment did an amazing job for our wedding…the music was perfect and really helped to set the tone for our entire day!!! From the pre-ceremony music, to cocktail hour, through the entire reception Michael kept us and our guests so happy with his music choices. The vibe for our cocktail hour was exactly what we were looking for…songs to help our guests relax and enjoy while still being able to chat with one another. We also really appreciated how Michael balanced our specific song requests and musical preferences with some of his own selections as well as requests from our friends and family throughout the night. It was clear that he was very prepared and put a lot of thought into his selections based on our conversations, preference sheet, and mutual love of music. We keep hearing from everyone about how great the music was, from start to finish! (As if it wasn’t already evident by the full dance floor throughout the night.) He even managed to seamlessly cue a song referenced in one of the speeches, making it seem like he had planned it with the maid of honor in advance. So great! Everyone had an amazing time and Michael & East End Entertainment played a big part in that…He truly helped to make our day even more special!

East End Entertainment knows how to throw a party! We selected them as our DJ for our wedding for a variety of reasons. The most important was because Mike & his team know music. They care about music. They talk about music passionately. Most other vendors we spoke to spoke about the package they were selling, Mike spoke about music and all the roles it plays in creating a magical party experience. East End Entertainment knows the wedding space. They're prepared to walk through all the various events that take place throughout a wedding and help you think through every detail when it comes to timing, necessary equipment, flow, etc... JR was our DJ and was accompanied by a saxophone player. No one left the dance floor the entire night. So many people sent us messages the day after the wedding talking about how incredible the music was. JR really took his time to get to know me and my wife, understand our musical taste/preference, understand the demographics of our crowd, and DJ'd an incredible playlist that our guests loved and my wife and I loved too. Mike & JR were also heavily involved in our walk-through and provided a ton of advice on the flow of our events. Could not have been happier to work with such an incredible team!! Our wedding was an extremely memorable party and this is largely because of East End Entertainment. Michael Variale was an absolute gentleman throughout the entire process, and you can tell he has great fun doing what he does for a living. In providing the music for our daughter’s wedding Michael asked the family members who met with him to help him customize the music so it would appeal to us rather than him picking what he liked. He also was able to provide top quality musicians who looked very polished and happy to be at our event. We also would like to say that the sound equipment used by East End Entertainment was of the highest caliber. It produced clear sound with no thumping or distortion and unlike many other music providers Michael never felt it necessary to bother the attendees to get up and dance as the music he provided accomplished that well enough. Michael did everything he said he would do and made the wedding a very happy event for us all. All the guests said, it was the best wedding they have ever attended. We feel this is because largely of the music!!!

You were truly amazing and kept the party going! All we wanted was the dancefloor packed all night and you surpassed our expectations. The communication was always great. Michael was such an important, integral part of our wedding day and not only did he execute all of the standard DJ/MC responsibilities perfectly, he truly went above and beyond for us. He suggested lighting options which yielded some stunning photographs, worked with our venue to smooth out our timeline, gave us excellent advice regarding our cocktail hour, dinner, and reception, and indulged even our strangest music requests! I truly cannot say enough about Michael from East End Entertainment NY DJs, Band and Lighting! Michael provided personalized attention throughout the entire process. I never would have thought to do a walkthrough of the venue with our DJ, but it proved invaluable. At the walkthrough, Michael identified lighting options that took our venue to the next level. Michael was truly committed to getting to know “our story” and thought outside of the box to help us create a tender moment with my dad, who is physically limited and couldn’t do a father-daughter dance. As if these elements were not enough, both Michael and Jonny Ray were outstanding entertainers. Exactly what we wanted…. Sophistication meets fun! Not only did they have everyone on the dance floor dancing the entire night, but most of our zoom guests stayed on until the end of the party and could be seen dancing along with us at home! I would recommend Michael and Jonny Ray without reservation!

My husband and I were married at Pellegrini Vineyards on September 1, 2019. We met with three DJs before we met with Michael and JR. Instantly, when we met them, we knew we wanted to book with East End. We loved that we met not only with Michael, the owner, but JR, who was our MC/DJ, so that we were able to meet JR prior to our wedding day. Music was extremely important to my husband and I, to the point where we literally spent many nights after work going over songs and picking the music we wanted. We ended up creating a 10 page playlist with songs we loved, including “must plays.” Not only did JR play all of our must play songs, the execution was flawless. All of the songs were completely professionally mixed, there were no issues with sound, and the songs were not just played for 15 seconds and then cut off, which is a pet peeve of mine at weddings. Our pre-ceremony, ceremony, and cocktail hour music was also perfectly done. Additionally, JR did not spend any time at all on the microphone as many annoying MCs do, where all you hear is the MC “hyping up the crowd.” Our number one compliment from our wedding day was our incredible music, and our guests still talk about it to this day. I cannot highly recommend East End Entertainment enough!

From the moment we first spoke with Michael on the phone, we immediately knew we had found our wedding DJ. Michael truly made us feel like we were his priority, and listened to everything we wanted when planning the music for our wedding. He spent an hour with us at the venue itself a month before the wedding and spoke with us in depth about the best approach for us so we could have everything we dreamed of. His expertise and years of experience are obvious, and his suggestions for the timing of events (including introductions, first dance, and speeches) was honestly what made our wedding reception such a fun and memorable experience.  Though all the planning, Michael was flexible with what we wanted, even accommodating last minute changes to the playlist, including mixing and cutting the introduction song as well as the father daughter dance. We had many elderly guests attending our wedding and were concerned about noise level when researching DJs. Michael assured us that it would be a fun reception with an appropriate volume of music to encourage both dancing and conversation (and it was!). Not only was Michael amazing to work with planning the big day, he was also so helpful during the reception. He talked us through our wedding playlist multiple times and tailored it with us to make it the best for us and our guests.  Michael's enthusiasm and passion for his work is contagious and he turned a stressful part of wedding planning for us into a fun experience, and the music was exactly what we wanted!  People are still telling us how amazing our DJ was! During our reception, guests were raving about the music and tearing up the dance floor and Michael was excellent at reading the energy of the crowd. We highly recommend East End Entertainment to anyone looking for a DJ!

We are so happy with booking East End Entertainment for our wedding day. We had SO many compliments from our guests and still to this day how good the music was. We had Jonny Ray play guitar and sing during cocktail hour. We knew right away we wanted to book him after going to a restaurant before the wedding to listen to him. He can play a variety songs to your choosing and he was awesome. For the reception we had DJ Mike who had people on the dance floor from the first song of the night to the last. Everyone had such an amazing time dancing to the music selection chosen. Mike was very easy to work with leading up to the wedding making it stress free. Both Jonny Ray and Mike were also very professional. We can't thank them enough. We highly suggest booking them!

The preparation process of wedding planning can be extremely stressful but East End Entertainment has made us feel extremely supported every step of the way. We spoke on the phone several times before the big day and judging by how packed the dance floor was, it was pretty evident that the night was a huge success. Michael went out of his way to work with multiple people involved in the wedding in order to help coordinate surprises for my husband and I throughout the night. A recommendation doesn’t seem like enough, East End Entertainment made this the most memorable night of our lives!!! I wish I could throw a party every weekend.

East End Entertainment was the BEST CHOICE that we made for our wedding. They were absolutely amazing to work with. This is by far the best company ever and was our favorite service provider!!! Michael and his team were absolutely amazing to work with during the wedding preparation period. They got on the phone with us multiple times to prepare an outline and even did walk-throughs at the venue with us. They were extremely attentive to all of our many requests and went through many iterations of our timeline with us. Our guests have also not stopped raving about the performance. We used a ton of services and everything was stellar: the string quartet during the ceremony, Tyrone on Steel drums during the cocktail hour, and the reception was amazing: Eric on percussion/vocals, Samford on Sax, Jimmy & Susan on vocals!! The photo booth team was also a wonderful treat for our guests. Everyone loved the greenscreen! Finally Jonny Ray on acoustic guitar for the after hours beach bonfire party was awesome. The professionalism the whole team displayed was great!! East End Entertainment was the BEST to work with. We will 100% recommend them for our siblings weddings in the future!!

Mike truly went above and beyond for our wedding. Not only was he extremely open and receptive to our music choices, he made it very easy to make a music plan. He also crafted the timeline of our wedding, after discussing with us what best worked for us. He is very easy to get in touch with as well; he answers e-mails, texts and voicemails very promptly--this helped greatly with the planning process! The day turned out wonderfully. We received so many compliments on the music—both on Mike and on Johnny Ray who did acoustic. We are pretty convinced that Johnny Ray can play anything. My husband and I sent a list to Mike and there was no issue of a song being too obscure or out of reach. During the reception, our dance floor was packed and it was very hard to get people to take a break from dancing. Mike was very flexible and, after consulting me and my husband, he kept the music going and pushed back our timeline a bit. People appreciated that very much. Besides being very professional and competent in providing entertainment, Mike’s demeanor was very warm. You can tell he loves what he does. His pricing was also unbeatable. We paid so much less than what our friends have paid for entertainment at their weddings and, I feel, had a much better overall experience with East End. Finally, before the ceremony, Mike assisted our day-of-planner in handing out bubble wands to our guests. Additionally, our officiant (a friend of my husband) also did not have a jacket; Mike gave our officiant HIS OWN jacket for pictures and for the ceremony. Who does that?! So, to summarize, Mike and East End Entertainment are amazing. You (and your guests!) will be elated with your wedding if you decide to go with them.

We just had Michael Variale DJ our wedding and I could not recommend him more. He is such a nice guy, he genuinely wanted to make our day special in any way he could. He completely quarterbacked the entire night and the event flowed seamlessly. The entire process couldn't have been easier. He gave suggestions, respected everything we wanted and didn't want, and we had no stress when it came to our entertainment for the night. Additionally, we had Johnny Ray do our ceremony and cocktail hour and it was awesome to have some live acoustic music for the first half of our day before having a DJ for our reception. People loved the cocktail hour music and I still have been receiving compliments about how good our guitarist was. We requested a short list of songs and he was able to play EVERY one of them no questions asked, and he sprinkled in some of his favorites as well. Could not recomment East End more!!!

I could not recommend Mike more highly. He is a true professional, takes an immense amount of pride in his work and is an all-around great guy. Before our wedding, he met with us on more than one occasion and struck the perfect balance between listening to our ideas and providing thoughtful advice based on his experience and expertise on everything from timings to setup to song selections. For our reception, he put together a fantastic playlist that kept all of our guests dancing all night - and two months later, many of them are still raving about him!

Many guests have since complimented our DJ and said the songs and order of songs were the best they've seen! He was so easy to work with and met all of our needs!

Mike was amazing! He helped with ceremony music at Oceanbleu, he even worked with one of our groomsman in playing the song I walked down the aisle to. Once we got into the ceremony- our dance floor was packed the entire night. EVERYONE raved about the music and how much fun the night was. Without hesitation we would recommend East End Entertainment.

Michael was absolutely wonderful. He listened to our requests throughout the entire year leading up to our wedding. We had a lot of questions and he was so patient and helpful. He played all the songs we asked for and knew when to switch genres if he felt guests were getting tired of certain music. Our guests danced the ENTIRE night and that was all we wanted! Also one of our favorite things that Michael did was he got everyone up and standing/crowding around the dance floor for our first dance and entrance. This meant SO much to us since we had a choreographed dance that was so special to us and many of our guests. Because Michael got everyone out of their seats, every single guest saw our dance and said it was the best part of the whole night. Michael really made the room come alive all night and was so great in planning the toasts and making sure they wouldn't interrupt the dancing too much! We absolutely loved East End Entertainment and would recommend them to anyone who really wants people to dance all night!!

We hired East End Entertainment for our July wedding - Johnny Ray played/sang at our rehearsal dinner, the string quartet performed for our ceremony and Michael, Gus and Eric did our reception. From start to finish they were amazing! Johnny Ray and the string quartet were both so talented. As for the reception, our guests have not stopped raving about how much fun they had and how different and cool it was to have a DJ accompanied by live music. Multiple people have told me this was the most fun they have EVER had at a wedding. We also had a friend officiate our ceremony and 2 guests perform songs, both of which required appropriate microphones and speakers. Michael was so knowledgable and helpful in accommodating our requests. You can tell he truly loves what he does. We cant recommend East End Entertainment enough if you are looking to have a great time dancing at your wedding!!

Michael Variale brings a whole new meaning to “attention to detail!” We have never met a more enthusiastic, professional, and detail-driven individual. From the first moment we met Michael at a bridal showcase at Suffolk Community College, we knew we would be in excellent hands. At the time, we didn’t know which direction we wanted to go with in our search for wedding entertainment, we just knew that we wanted to party! We stopped by the East End Wedding Guide booth and struck up a conversation with Michael. As soon as we told Michael that our wedding was to be at Pellegrini Vineyards in Cutchogue, his excitement and enthusiasm rose as he talked us through what our wedding would be like. It was as if we were standing at Pellegrini Vineyards and walking through the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He knew our venue extremely well and knew exactly what was needed in terms of logistics to make our wedding day a success. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, Michael was always available. He was quick to respond to e-mails and available by phone to answer any questions, provide us with vendor recommendations, and make suggestions. He even joined us on our final walk through to make sure he was on the same page as us, our caterer, Maître d’ and the staff at Pellegrini Vineyards. Michael quickly understood our desire to have a rustic chic wedding and added special touches to make our day even more memorable. From connecting us with Johnny Ray (a wonderful acoustic guitarist) for our ceremony and cocktail hour music to uplighting the vines and reception tent to providing the photo booth with a one-of-a-kind rustic photo template to offering a rustic DJ front board and a large illuminated LOVE sign. The day of our wedding, Michael arrived early to ensure everything would be set up correctly and our event would go off without a hitch. Throughout the entire reception, Michael had all of our guests, even those that never dance, on their feet all night long as he played hit after hit. We cannot say enough about his attention to detail; from the moment we met to the last dance, he was amazing! Michael’s interpersonal skills and attentiveness to our individual needs make East End Entertainment the best around! We would highly recommend Michael and East End Entertainment for any event and would hire him again in a heartbeat!

Michael and East End Entertainment helped to provide the wedding of our dreams! Michael was so easy to work with. My husband and I were very stressed about music as our tastes don't really align with traditional wedding music. Ryan grew up heavy into grunge and spent years in mosh pits before transitioning to the underground rave scene. I'm a huge fan of electronic and deep house which isn't what our 70+ year old parents and friends want to hear. Typical pop/dance party/wedding music is not really our thing. Michael took all that stress away and put together an amazing playlist that took everyone by surprise. He catered to our tastes perfectly, was able to read the crowd, and had the entire party on the dance floor the ENTIRE night, even throwing in well timed Nirvana and Nine Inch Nails tracks (which surprisingly worked really well and everybody LOVED)! Weeks later we still have friends telling us it was hands down the best music and most fun wedding they have been part of. In addition to that, the string quartet Michael works with did a beautiful job for our ceremony and cocktail hour, even despite the windy and rainy weather that accompanied our outdoor event. They played a wonderful selection of classical, jazz, and rock. As a side note, our wedding took place at my husband's family farm in Southold, NY which is a popular wedding venue. Michael and his team went above and beyond for us and impressed everyone in the group. Moving forward, my mother-in-law will be pushing his name for all future wedding groups. He earned THE top spot on their preferred vendor list. Huge thank you again to Michael!

When you have a wedding you need some music. Michael not only knocked it out of the park with his music choices, but he also made being a master of ceremonies look ridiculously easy. We were simply impressed from the time we met him all the way through the end of our wedding. Michael worked very closely with us to make our day just the way we wanted it. From ceremony music, to cocktail hours, dances, and beyond he kept the night flowing; one song after the other. If it didn't seem like the crowd was interested he changed the tune but without abruptness as to point out the obvious. That's the small details I appreciate. Our dance floor was the place to be because Michael made it be with his music selection. Our guests couldn't stop describing our wedding as "one big party" and that's just the way we explained it to Michael. Thank you Michael, we would definitely use you again!

I can't say enough about my experience with East End Entertainment. They are professional in every way. Michael was great to work with and understood everything I wanted for my wedding. My guests raved about the music, some I picked but mostly what East End picked out. I just have to say you get what you pay for. Remember: ANYONE can spin records, not too many know how to be a real DJ.

Cannot recommend Michael enough!! You can tell how much he loves what he does and that shows through in his work. We got so many comments from wedding guests all night about how great the DJ was, and we completely agree. I got married August 12, 2017 and used East End Entertainment for the wedding. Michael was so attentive and flexible! He took into account my song requests and played music that kept everyone dancing all night long!! People still are coming up to me, months later, saying they had so much fun at the wedding. We also used the photobooth, which everyone LOVED! The photobooth attendants put together an album with pictures that everyone could sign. It was thoughtful and a nice keepsake. I highly recommend using East End Entertainment!

We were 1000% happy with Mike and East End entertainment for our wedding. He played all the music I wanted but used his professional expertise to feel the crowd and adjust the music as necessary. He wasn't too talkative or annoying on the mic for the announcements and whatnot but was the perfect t amount to get people amped up for our various events in the night (we had 2 choreographed dances which he did a great job in mixing the custom songs for us beforehand). He was so easy to work with in planning and preparations and in addition is just a really great human being. He took the time to meet with us on several occasions to make sure everything was 100% percent perfect and really went above and beyond to make our wedding a truly memorable event. EVERYONE loved the music and we recommend him wholeheartedly for a wedding or any other event really.

Michael did an amazing job at our wedding. He tailored the music for our crowd (20-40 yrs olds mainly). The music quality was great and all the guests were very happy.

I can't say anything bad about these people. They were a pleasure to work with. We talked to Mike for most of the time when we were setting up or wedding and then we worked with Bill during the wedding. They responded very quickly by email and phone and they took last minute requests and made it happen. I played a song for my wife at my wedding and they were more than happy to let me use their microphones and plug my guitar in their equipment. Don't ever ignore Mike's suggestions, he's a man who knows what he's talking about!

East End Entertainment was the perfect choice for our wedding. "Uncle" Mike, as he told us to call him, was the best DJ, prepared, informed, and he read the crowd like a true master. Literally everyone was dancing all night long. Nothing is better when at the end of the reception everyone is calling for the DJ to play one or two more... If you are looking for the best DJ around, then I would always choose East End Entertainment. From Michael's wonderful suggestions for the timeline to his excellent music mixing you couldn't make a better choice.

The music at my wedding, was the biggest takeaway from the entire event. It's been a month now, and I just got another compliment yesterday (why i realized i needed to write this today) about how great the music was. He is a super friendly guy who has worked at most venues out in the Hamptons/Long Island and there is a reason for it. Via Mike, we hired a Jazz Quartet for the cocktail hour, and then Mike was the DJ for the remainder of the night. The band was fantastic, and Mike was better. He played the right songs at the right times, read the crowd correctly all night long. And something I never realized prior to it was that the DJ acts as a "master of ceremonies" for your event.... and boy did we choose the right guy. It was a pleasure dealing with him, and cannot recommend him more highly. Do yourself a favor and stop worrying about your wedding and just hire this guy. Mike = Great Music @ Your Wedding.

This DJ is head and shoulders above any other DJ I have ever experienced. From the acoustical guitarist during the cocktail hour to the drums used to accompany the music played by the DJ, this was truly an experience everyone should be part of. The music never stopped and the dance floor was never empty. The wedding was a huge success, in large part, because of East End Entertainment.

East End Entertainment was the DJ at my ceremony and wedding reception this last weekend and they were fantastic!!! Michael was awesome and super responsive to all of my emails and questions. He made a mashup of songs for us to do a surprise flash dance and it came out awesome! We picked all of our songs and Michael stuck to our list and knew exactly when to play which songs. Our dance floor was full the entire wedding! It was more dancing than I have ever seen at a wedding. So many people came up to me during the night and commented after that it was the best music they have ever heard at a wedding! Michael is super organized and helps you make an outline to make your event flow smoothly. I cannot recommend East End Entertainement enough! You will not be disappointed!

I cannot begin to express my satisfaction with Mike at East End Entertainment. From the beginning of the process until the end of the night, everything was perfect. Mike offered competitive prices and superior service. He was so responsive to my emails throughout our entire planning process and I never had to worry about any detail with him. He helped us with every single request we had and went above and beyond to meet our specific requests. He provided Johnny Ray during our cocktail hour who was so talented and played every song we requested. Mike was the DJ at our wedding and I have never had so many compliments on the music. No one could believe how good it was. He played each song for the perfect amount of time and people literally did not stop dancing. We barely had time to sit for dinner because no one could get off the dance floor. I honestly didn't speak to half my guests because I couldn't stop dancing!!! My husband and I recently got married and we hired a string quartet for these services. We highly recommend East End Strings! They were amazing! We had them play traditional music during our processional and then pop and rock music during our recessional and cocktail hour. We received many compliments on them.
