My husband and I got married on October 15, 2022 at East Lynn Farm and it was absolute perfection. The venue is huge and you have so many options for the ceremony/cocktail/reception locations. This venue is so unique from any other place we toured; the Barn and Inn are historic structures and it's a working farm. The farm animals were such a fun addition and our guests loved saying hello to the goats and barn cat, Buddy! We got ready in The Inn the morning of and it was so convenient to be on-site at the venue and walk right out to the ceremony location. The staff was great and set up everything perfectly. East Lynn Farm was very communicative throughout the process and made sure we had everything we needed to make our big day perfect.

Our wedding at East Lynn Farm was simply magical. We had a relatively short engagement (less than six months), but we still had our fairytale wedding thanks to East Lynn. We can’t say enough about how beautiful the farm was. Sunset was breathtaking, the grounds were spectacular, it was the perfect outdoor wedding! Our ceremony was held in the fields behind the inn, and we used a sail tent next to the inn for our reception. We had a 300-person traditional orthodox Jewish ceremony — with separate cocktail receptions for the bride and groom. There was ample room at the farm, and we were able to bring in a great kosher caterer. Throughout the entire process, Georgia and the team from East Lynn Farm made us feel like our wedding was their top priority. They helped us vet vendors, troubleshooted issues as they arose, and kept us organized. Georgia was like a second planner for us! The compliments from our guests were endless – everyone had a great time and loved the farm. We are so grateful — and we highly recommend getting married at East Lynn Farm!

We had a mixed, but overall positive, experience working with East Lynn. On the positive side: Our wedding was incredible, the venue was gorgeous, and our guests loved all the spaces (barn and fields) we used. However, communication wasn't consistently easy, the staff were not consistently professional, and we were unable to use the tent purchased for the weekend because the ground was too wet. We also would recommend asking to view the venue's event details form before booking, because it wasn't clear to us until we saw the form (a few months before the wedding) which add-ons we'd discussed were included and which would cost extra.

We always wanted a beautiful natural setting for our wedding and what better place than a farm! East Lynn was the only one of the many venues we looked at that was an actual working farm. We were living out of state when we booked this venue. When we finally came to visit, it was even more stunning in person than it was in the photos! We encountered a lot of unforeseen challenges that came with COVID-19 - including having to reschedule our wedding date two years after we booked the venue. We were lucky enough to work with the hugely accommodating staff here who helped us navigate every obstacle we encountered with ease. Leading up to our wedding, we were able to visit the farm every season which helped us narrow down which areas we wanted to use for each event. Their event manager, Allyson, was very timely with communicating and was very professional. Georgia, the owner, was so easy-going and was very welcoming. Our spring wedding at East Lynn Farm was a dream come true!

My wife and I had our wedding reception at East Lynn Farm this past June. We really enjoyed working with Georgia and Allyson. They were so kind and accommodating throughout the planning process and made everything come together seamlessly. The farm and the barn are beautiful and made for great pictures as well.

2021 bride here! My husband and I had our wedding reception at East Lynn Farm in June of 2021. Everything about the venue was incredible. We had such a positive experience working with Georgia (owner) and her assistant, Allyson. They were so kind, responsive, and accommodating throughout the entire process. They were always ready and willing to answer any and all questions I had while planning which was super comforting. Georgia took the time out of her day to come meet me at the venue multiple times in the months leading up to the wedding (for planning, walk-throughs with our wedding coordinator, and even engagement photos with our photographer!) She was always so sweet and patient, we truly couldn't have asked for a better person to work with. Not to mention, the farm is absolutely GORGEOUS! It is extremely well kept and we loved everything about it. We used the outdoor space and the bottom floor of the barn for cocktail hour and had our reception upstairs. My bridesmaids and I also stayed at the Inn the night before the wedding and got ready there in the morning. Again, everything was extremely clean, well-kept, and overall just really, really beautiful. There are so many ways to utilize the space at East Lynn and really make the experience your own which I think is a super cool, unique thing about this venue. I definitely recommend East Lynn to any brides looking for gorgeous views of the mountains, lots of open green fields, and a rustic feel for their wedding day.

We just had a beautiful mid-October wedding at East Lynn Farm! Like many couples, we had to postpone our wedding after booking for 2020, but Georgia and Allyson were very responsive and understanding in working with us to select a new date - just as they were throughout the whole planning process and while working with our wedding coordinator, Virginia from V&V Wedding Planning & Coordination. The scenery around the farm, with grassy pastures and cows roaming along the hills, is simply spectacular. In terms of a getting ready space, the Inn on the property is a gorgeous historic house with lots of character. There are multiple ceremony sites to choose from, including the rustic barn milk parlor, which we ended up using due to a bit of rain on our wedding day. The team at East Lynn Farm made sure that day-of change went smoothly, and despite the cloudy weather our photos turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined. We would definitely recommend this venue to any couple looking for a scenic, cozy farm setting with plenty of options to choose from for their big day!

Our daughter was married at East Lynn Farm on October 2, 2021. It was her dream to be married in a quiet, simple, rural setting. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect venue existing than Easy Lynn Farm. Georgia, Jacob, her family, and those who work at the farm could not have been kinder and more attentive to all our needs. The barn was a blank canvas that we were able to transform, with our decorations, into a place to host the most beautiful wedding. The farmhouse was a wonderful, cozy gathering place for our family for the weekend events. The attention to detail, the immaculate state of the farmhouse upon arrival and the desire to provide all that anyone staying might need, was unmatched (and this coming from a family who owned and operated inns for years.) My husband and I got married at East Lynn Farm the weekend of October 2nd and we are SO happy and blessed to have found them. East Lynn Farm was the only venue we visited and we knew right away that that was our spot! The entire farm and surrounding views are romantic and simply breathtaking. The property is meticulously taken care of. The owners and employees are extremely kind and accommodating. We loved and owe a special thanks to Georgia, Jacob, Peter, Jeff and Allyson. Georgia and Jacob made us feel like family from our first visit and we felt like everyone strived to make our wedding weekend everything we dreamed of. What I love about East Lynn Farm is that there are lots of different locations to host events. My family stayed at the Inn and me and my bridesmaids got ready there. It's adorable! We had our cocktail hour in their Milk Barn, the reception in the Hayloft Barn, and we had a family BBQ in the backyard of the Inn the day after the wedding. It was perfect! We will definitely be back to stay at the Inn one day for an anniversary. I highly recommend East Lynn Farm to anyone looking for a stunning wedding venue! You won't regret it! :)

I highly recommend East Lynn Farm as a venue for weddings and other social events. The location is beautiful and the views are spectacular. The grounds are perfect for an outdoor event, with lovely gardens and a very comfortable and well furnished 'barn' for socializing. I highly recommend East Lynn Farm for anyone looking for country/rustic environment for their wedding! Besides the venue being absolutely beautiful and picturesque, the owners and wedding coordinator were very attentive, accommodating, communicative and treated us like family. My husband and I were married at the Farm in May 2019 and used all parts of the venue for our wedding day. My bridesmaids and I got ready at the farmhouse, pictures were taken around the property, we were married in one of the fields and had the reception in the barn. We loved the venue and so did all of our guests. East Lynn Farm is perfect venue to make your big day special!

The venue was beautiful - tastefully rustic and picturesque. The fields and countryside make for a wonderful backdrop and the barn was beautifully lit and romantic in the evening. The dance floor was the perfect size!

I recently went there for a wedding and the venue was absolutely beautiful. The sunset was remarkable over a pasture full of cows. The venue that hosted the reception was very picturesque and quaint. The whole night was very lovely.

The countryside setting was beautiful and the barn hall was classy-rustic. All the amenities were top-notch and convenient.

My wife and I were keen on finding a venue that had a vibrant nature and outdoorsy vibe. We were immediately charmed when we first saw East Lynn Farms, and met the team behind its operation. The owners Georgia and Peter were incredibly supportive, and gave sage advice throughout our planning process. In addition, Alyson, who handles the emails for the farm, was always incredibly quick to provide responses to our questions, and was a pleasure to communicate with. We visited the venue a couple times throughout 2019 between January and our wedding this past September. It takes some imagination to picture how the grounds would look like on your wedding day, because it transforms so much with each season. However, we thought it was gorgeous and made for a terrific backdrop each time we visited regardless of the season. The farm is between an hour to an hour and a half outside of D.C. so it is a fantastic option for getting a rustic venue space that is still accessible for our friends living in the city and the families flying in to Reagan or Dulles. There is a lot of flexibility for events at East Lynn Farms, which may be a stressor for couples depending on their appetite for DIY versus a turnkey wedding option. The farm includes some decorations and a list of recommended vendors, but we were not restricted to the list as long as the vendors we chose had the appropriate license and insurance. The farm allows you to provide our own beverages for events, and we were able to save quite a bit by sourcing our drinks from Costco rather than ordering through the caterer. My wife and I were initially worried about how hot might be at the tail end of Summer, and we contemplated renting fans or A/C units for the wedding. Thankfully, Georgia advised us that the surrounding mountains provided the area with a cooler ambient temperature and a reasonable breeze that negated the need for that hefty expense. On our wedding day, the weather was perfect! Even at the peak of the afternoon it never got so hot that it was uncomfortable to wear a suit jacket, and at the end of the night it wasn’t so cold that one needed a jacket. There’s no limit of the amount of praise and recommendations my wife and I would give to East Lynn! We honestly couldn’t have imagined a better place to have our wedding!

East Lynn Farm was a spectacular venue. The best part of the venue was how many options you had for locations, from the milking parlor to the hayloft and the fields. My husband and I were able to truly make the space our own. And our friends and family loved being out in nature with cows and horses walking up along the fence posts as cocktail hour started. Also the Inn was a gorgeous place to get ready throughout the day as well as crash after the party. And last but not least - the owners are very sweet and work hard to make the event exactly what you want.

East Lynn Farm is an incredible venue and we wouldn't have wanted our wedding any other place in this world! My grandfather actually used to own this farm and sold it to the owners once he couldn't take care of it anymore. The couple who owns it now, Peter and Georgia, were so excited that we decided to get married there. They made sure our wedding was the best day ever! They were so welcoming and helpful it meant so much to our family. All the guests loved learning about the backstory of the farm and everyone couldn't complement the venue enough. We got married in the pine grove, had cocktail hour in the downstairs barn and had the reception upstairs. Everything was absolutely perfect. Best venue ever!!!

East Lynn Farm is an amazing venue and we loved having our wedding there. It is a beautiful location and I loved how they held on to the historical aspects of the barn because some other places we looked at were very refurnished. I have horses in the area so I knew we wanted to use a rustic barn but also be able to have a whimsical style and it worked perfectly at East Lynn. I loved that we could get married outdoors at the pine trees, move across the street to have the cocktail hour at the lower level of the barn, and then have the reception upstairs. The weather turned out perfect but I felt better knowing we could move the ceremony inside if it did get bad. Having our ceremony and reception at the same location was so helpful because then we got to take all our pictures before the ceremony, so we could actually enjoy our cocktail hour and greet our guests which allowed us to then be able to enjoy our reception and eat.

We are so glad that we chose East Lynn Farm for our fall wedding! Not only is the setting absolutely gorgeous, with panoramic views of the blue ridge mountains, but the indoor spaces are beautiful and so well-maintained as well. The hayloft of the barn was the perfect size for our wedding with 75 guests plus a 7 piece band and tables set up for a dessert bar. Georgia and Allyson were both wonderful to work with. They were quick to respond to questions and were very flexible throughout the planning process. One thing we really appreciated about the venue was that the rental costs include tables and chairs for the ceremony and reception. They also have relatively inexpensive rental decor options so that you don't have buy everything yourself or go through separate event rental companies. I highly recommend East Lynn for a beautiful Northern VA farm wedding!

East Lynn Farm is a beautiful venue that was a big part in helping our vision of our dream wedding come alive. We opted for the “Full Countryside Weekend Package” that allowed us to use the venue from Friday at noon to Sunday at noon. This full weekend enabled us to have an amazing rehearsal dinner the night prior to our big day, in addition to not having to frantically setup/breakdown in a few short hours. During our wedding weekend, the venue staff was great to make sure that everything was setup as desired and worked to ensure that weekend went off without a hitch. The barn for the reception is the perfect size for a wedding of roughly 140+/- a few guests. Your photographer will have plenty of great spots for pictures throughout the farm. While barn weddings seem to be the new craze, this venue separates itself as having been a true working barn and not simply a barn built specifically for weddings. The rustic character shines, but potentially requires you to do a bit more work than some venue to transform it to meet your vision. A few tips that we hope will be helpful for others looking to book this venue for their wedding weekend. The venue has very specific rules and requires extremely detailed plans/details be completed prior to your event. Plan to use a very experienced caterer that is fully self-sufficient. I would highly recommend requesting the “East Lynn Farm Wedding Event Detail Form” prior to booking the venue. This will allow you see all the rules and understand additional cost you might not have potentially thought of. Lastly, be aware that the nearest large hotels are about 25 minutes away, budget for buses if you plan to use them.

As a planner I have worked at many venues, and East Lynn Farms is one of my favorites! The owners and staff are wonderful to work with and the aesthetic is stunning! It is a great place for a memorable wedding or milestone event.

You are out in the beautiful countryside, and the barn is perfect for a rustic yet classy wedding that is taking over Pinterest! The owners could not be more welcoming and went out of their way to make sure the bride and her party were comfortable. They provided a delicious breakfast the day of the wedding. The venue also provides many different options to hold the ceremony, each more lovely than the next. Upstairs in the barn is the perfect location for the reception. If there were more stars I would definitely keep going. My daughter’s wedding on the farm could not have been better. We booked the whole weekend and I strongly recommend it. It provide a relaxed unhurried atmosphere that was perfect for the bridal party. A delicious breakfast was furnished for the morning of the ceremony. The back porch and the views were perfect for sitting and enjoying a glass of champagne. The owners (Georgia and Peter) were wonderful to work with. Helpful in every way. Great venue! Had a blast coming from NZ for my cousins wedding. Gorgeous setting, great food and entertainment.

Nan and I drove up from Texas specially to attend this wedding in full expectation of a terrific Virginia afternoon. Whoosh! Rained Cats and Dogs and blew us to Kingdom Come...but East Lynn Farm immediately put in Plan B keeping the guests in great spirits all the way through. East Lynn Farm is delightfully organic, full of natural atmosphere, and delightful in every respect. The impact of the freshly picked flowers from the surrounding fields in antique jars on all the tables was so special. Apparently the bridal party had the fun of that the day before. The venue was a perfect spot for this spontaneous and fun couple and the whole event was very special!

In spite of bad weather, it was a magical night. The vistas and land... the decorations and flowers.... all so beautiful and everyone soon forgot they were in a barn in pouring down rain.

After a hot and dry summer, our Country Wedding Weekend at East Lynn was unexpectedly rainy and cold. I promise you, if this happens on your wedding at East Lynn you won't be upset. They helped us adjust by moving the ceremony from the lawn to the barn and no one could tell that wasn't the plan. We rented a tent for the lawn games and Georgia's husband helped us get the fire pit going at the last minute. On our wedding morning we woke up to rain on the tin roof and bundled up on the back porch for tea and coffee. I used the Inn the day before the wedding for all my friends to help me pick flowers and make the table vases. We had wine and cheese set up on the back patio while everyone was milling around the field admiring the landscape. Kids were running about helping. I highly recommend hiring Anna, Smokin Willies for the food, and Brent and Company for the music.

What a beautiful location for a wedding it really was perfect and I enjoyed everything it was very well handled and put together and went pretty seamlessly. I would definitely recommend.

I was amazed at the expertise of the staff at East Lynn Farm and how they managed changing my daughter's wedding ceremony from Outdoors to Indoors at the last minute. Yes, not just rain, torrential ....remnants of Hurricane Andrew! Umbrellas were plentiful and the Barn dry and cozy. Lights strung throughout making it look like a Fairyland. The sky cleared enough after the Ceremony for photo ops. Thank you East Lynn for saving the day.

Attended friends wedding (Lindsey/Graves) at East Lynn Farm. All weddings are beautiful but East Lynn Farm allows a wedding to be SPECTACULAR! Anyone planning a wedding should definitely consider this venue!

We absolutely loved everything about having our wedding at East Lynn Farm. The venue was beautiful, the perfect amount of rustic and a reasonable price. We loved the look of the barn and the ceremony location by the trees was beautiful and perfectly shaded for a July afternoon. We loved how flexible the venue was about letting us pick our vendors and caterers. We used Anna as our day of coordinator and she was amazing at making everything go smoothly.

My husband and I got married at East Lynn Farm on 11/05/17. This venue is absolutely beautiful and was the perfect setting for our country rustic wedding! We had a single day rental and chose to have an outdoor ceremony in the pine grove with our reception in the dairy barn. The barn is beautiful and needs little additional decorations beyond what is already there. This venue was also appealing to me because of the options of indoor and outdoor locations to help with your inclement weather planning.

My daughter had her wedding here this fall and everything about it was beautiful! The owners and staff went above and beyond to work with us and our vendors. The outdoor setting is picturesque with the large pine trees creating the perfect ceremony location. The hayloft and dairy barn need little additional decoration and the addition of the fire pit created a very warm and welcoming vibe.

East Lynn Farm is the perfect place to get married, there is no way to go wrong with this venue! I love the personal attention from the owners and the flexibility of the spaces. Beautiful landscapes, unique rustic details and an elegant authentic barn make the ideal combination for the perfect wedding!!!!!

East Lynn Farm has been one of the absolute best venues I have every worked with! I am a wedding photographer and have had the pleasure of photographing three weddings there. The Inn, the barn, the grounds... everything is beautiful, well kept, and basically picture perfect! The owners and staff are top notch and so kind! Our catering company has worked many events at East Lynn Farm. Words can't express the wonderful job done by them. The owners are well organized and happy to help customers/vendors with any of their needs. The grounds are well kept and surrounded by beautiful rolling hills. The Dairy Barn that is often used for the cocktail hour fits perfectly into the country chic wedding theme. It is also nice to hang out in an area that has so much rich history. Upstairs in the barn where the reception is held is immaculate. The floors are beautifully redone and the lighting is perfect to accent all the gorgeous woodwork. It's always a plus for me when I see that my bride and groom have decided to get married at East Lynn Farm. I look forward to working with them even more in the future.

My wife and I looked at 20-30 different farm-type venues in Loudoun County, around the Blue Ridge and then further west towards Luray and the Shenandoah Valley. East Lynn won our business and I'll explain why. -East Lynn strikes a nice balance: the main reception barn has been heavily upgraded from it's farm days but it was done such that it retains a lot of the historic charm. -Property is perched just in front of the Blue Ridge in far west Loudoun County - exceptional views, far enough from DC burbsprawl but close enough such that getting your family into an affordable hotel / transport won't be killer. -Georgia and Peter have a relaxed style and it's clear this is a family business - they care and are approachable. -The way the reception hall has been modernized meant that our DJ was fine along with the catering company. There was also ample lighting, which is great because we didn't have to provide that. -A really nice bathroom comes with your rental - a lot of farms didn't provide that. -Tables and chairs for about 160 are included with your rental, along with a set of ceremony chairs. More savings. -There is a tastefully redone house across the street where you can get ready, also included. My wife loved it. -It was also nice to hold the ceremony and reception on opposite sides of the street so that the caterers could use the ceremony time to get ready. Our caterer really liked that aspect of it. -Flexibility - you can use whatever caterers you want, you don't have to buy some set amount of wine like a winery. -Super great is that East Lynn has a flower farm onsite. We went DIY and picked our own flowers the day before and arranged them. Flowers are an extra charge but go price a florist - you can save thousands doing this. Outstanding venue, Georgia and Peter feel like family now. Give them your business and you'll be happy you did.

The venue was exactly what we were looking for a pastoral, laid back family and friend-oriented wedding. We really liked the fact that you could rent the entire place for the weekend and hold multiple events there. East Lynn also made it very easy for us because they have everything we needed there, chairs for the ceremony, a separate set of chairs for the receptions and tables for the reception. We rented lawn games which were super fun to have for the day-after bbq. We really enjoyed the fact that we could stay in the Inn and we had two other couples stay with us which allowed for a very relaxed experience. Most of all the venue allows to make your wedding your own. If you really want to DIY you can, but the venue is so spectacular, you don't have to. We used flowers from the venue and did some minor decorating in the lower barn. By far one of the best elements of East Lynn was their day-of wedding planner. We had a meeting a few months in advance and a couple of phone calls leading up to the event. She was systematic and had lists of questions that demonstrated that she was thinking of all of the details that mattered. She's a superb logistician and was very skilled at troubleshooting issues that cropped up during the day. Anna was the reason why we could enjoy the day, she had everything under control.

We absolutely loved our wedding at East Lynn Farm. Anna and the team there we very easy to work with and the property is gorgeous and so well taken care of. We loved the flexibility of booking the wedding weekend - we could have our ceremony anywhere on the property and didn’t have to decide until about a week before. Staying at the Inn on Friday made getting ready Saturday morning so easy and was so convenient after the wedding. The hayloft where we held our reception is beautifully lit; we didn’t have to bring in much decor to make it look beautiful. We lucked out with amazing weather and have gorgeous photos from all over the farm. We loved being able to work with any vendors we wanted and were delighted with Old Blue BBQ’s catering! The food was spectacular and wedding-caliber. The only downsides are the venue is not very handicap accessible (the bathrooms are on the ground floor, but the main reception space is in the upper barn loft up a flight of stairs) and it's about 20-30 minutes from nearby hotels (not a problem with a shuttle back to the hotel at the end of the night).

My husband and I got married at East Lynn Farm on October 22nd and we couldn’t have asked for a better setting for our special day. When we visited East Lynn Farm for the first time I just knew that we had found the perfect venue. There were so many beautiful spots to choose from to host the ceremony and reception. The ability to spend the weekend at the inn was definitely a perk. On our first visit we met with the amazing Anna who showed us around, explained all the amenities and walked us through what we could expect. We clicked right away and ended up hiring her as our coordinator. I don’t think our event would have been as successful were it not for her understanding of our vision and her determination to make our day perfect for us. The Saturday of our wedding was the coldest day in October with gale force winds. We were supposed to have our ceremony outside in the shade of the pine trees but the weather forced us to move indoors. Anna did an amazing job of setting up the lower level dairy barn beautifully for our ceremony and helping transition it for cocktail hour. I think I may have been the calmest bride ever because I had so much faith in Anna’s understanding of what my husband and I were looking for and faith in her ability to make it come together. We were lucky to have the opportunity to attend two open houses at East Lynn before our wedding. Those visits really helped us figure out details and logistics as well as giving us the opportunity to connect with different vendors. We also got to meet the owners Georgia and Peter who were very warm and inviting. When we arrived at the Inn Friday for our rehearsal dinner Georgia was there to greet us. Not only did she thoughtfully give us extra clean towels and wonderful skin care products, but she also picked us some delicious figs straight from the garden. Peter was there on Saturday helping support us during the wedding. He even helped me retrieve our sweetheart table linen from the party rental truck the next day when it was accidentally packed away with our rentals. We are so happy that we booked East Lynn Farm for our wedding weekend. Our guests were blown away by the beautiful and peaceful landscape. The serenity of our surroundings was priceless. It was amazing waking up to the views of the wide-open fields and pastures, sheep and goats grazing and the mountains in the background. Some of our guests were lucky enough to get to pet some horses too  A large part of me was so sad when we had to leave on Sunday. East Lynn Farm and all the wonderful people we met there will always have a special place in my heart. We can’t wait for the opportunity to go back.
