East of Yellowstone

East of Yellowstone is so beautiful! They were so helpful and accommodating throughout the whole wedding process. The entire venue is stunning and all our guests loved it. I can’t thank East of Yellowstone enough for giving us a perfect wedding weekend 🤍

Our daughter and son-in-law had the privilege of being the first wedding reception at the newly renovated Crystal Lodge this past weekend. The owners took every step to accommodate all our needs. The guests commented how beautiful it all was. I don’t believe you’d find another small wedding venue (120 guests) like this in Illinois, and definitely not in Dixon. The spacious lodge where the wedding party stayed and prepared felt like a place in Colorado. Definitely recommend!

What an exceptional weekend this was. Keith, Devin (his daughter!), and the rest of the crew were accommodating, kind, and efficient since the very beginning. They helped contracting for and planning around this event so easily. A group of us (friends/classmates) came for a get-away retreat from the city, and the entire time, we were in awe. Nothing can beat the space itself (vast, lots of room to hike, bonfire, yoga; we even had a track&field style relay in the backyard). The rooms were nice, spacious, and comfortable. There was a lot of sitting room/smaller living rooms, so we could all take time to be in smaller groups if we wanted to. The game rooms and movie theaters were wonderful and kept us occupied all weekend. The kitchen is marvelous, and we just kept cooking all weekend because we were so obsessed. We played trivia while drinking wine in the sitting room/family room with the fireplace. Above all, Keith and Devin are great hosts. They were onsite (in a different building, so it was enough distance to give us privacy but not too far and were always available if we had questions), responsive, and understanding. I contacted Keith some time in December of 2023 to learn more about the space, and while we had other options, the clear respect and compassion Keith exuded for me as a potential guest and the passion and excitement he had for the space really drew me in. He even offered a group tour before signing the contract. I trusted him entirely, and he was absolutely so generous and fair throughout the whole process. We're coming back in less than three months because our time there was simply magical. It's hard to admit, but part of me hopes it stays a hidden gem just for us to enjoy. Yet, deep down, I know that anyone who discovers this place will feel as blessed as we did. I truly wish for others to experience the joy and tranquility that we found there.
