We love East Side King! We hired them to cater the welcome party the night before our wedding with 100+ guests. We really wanted a food truck option, and while they didn't have one...
initially because of the COVID-19 pandemic, they worked with us and we were able to get one as things opened back up again. During our correspondence, at times it took a follow up email or two to get a response. But they were very flexible with our menu changes and the various food allergies of ours guests. And on the day of, they showed up early and did a fantastic job. The food was DELICIOUS and our guests kept saying how much they loved it.
East side king is one our favorite places to eat in Austin and we knew pretty quickly during the planning process that we wanted to use them as our caterer. Hillary was super easy...
to work with and made the planning process a breeze. Everyone raved about our food and we even had a few guests go in for lunch the next day for some fried avocado buns!
Very friendly staff & their food is amazing!! Very unique menu options and their food truck is so fun too! If you hire East Side King for your wedding/event, it will be the talk of...
the evening!
East Side King was where my husband and I went on our second date so it was extra special to have it catered at our wedding.
ESK was incredibly easy to work with (especially afte...
r I started communicating with ESK directly instead of the in-between company they hired previously to manage events for them). Our venue was a tricky spot to cater because food prep wasn't allowed inside the venue itself, and since the venue is located downtown there wasn't a place to park their food truck so cooking in the truck wasn't an option either. However, their Operations Manager, Shawn, helped us brainstorm possible solutions and we came up with something that worked out perfectly!
A lot of our guests traveled to Austin from out of town, so they weren't familiar with ESK (and many had never eaten anything like a steamed bao bun or a fried beet before). Even so, we received SO MANY compliments on the food from our friends and family. They absolutely loved it!!
I will always have a fond memory of my sister bringing me a serving of beet fries during cocktail hour as my maid of honor and my wedding coordinator struggled to bustle my dress for me. :) Thank you guys for everything!
Good food, friendly and helpful staff. We received many compliments on the food.
Incredible food! Catered my wedding of aprox. 130. Everyone RAVED about the food selection - “best food I’ve ever had at a wedding” was a common phrase at our reception.
