and we were able to get one as things opened back up again. During our correspondence, at times it took a follow up email or two to get a response. But they were very flexible with our menu changes and the various food allergies of ours guests. And on the day of, they showed up early and did a fantastic job. The food was DELICIOUS and our guests kept saying how much they loved it.

Our venue was a tricky spot to cater because food prep wasn't allowed inside the venue itself, and since the venue is located downtown there wasn't a place to park their food truck so cooking in the truck wasn't an option either. However, their Operations Manager, Shawn, helped us brainstorm possible solutions and we came up with something that worked out perfectly! A lot of our guests traveled to Austin from out of town, so they weren't familiar with ESK (and many had never eaten anything like a steamed bao bun or a fried beet before). Even so, we received SO MANY compliments on the food from our friends and family. They absolutely loved it!! I will always have a fond memory of my sister bringing me a serving of beet fries during cocktail hour as my maid of honor and my wedding coordinator struggled to bustle my dress for me. :) Thank you guys for everything!
