Our floral designs are made with eco-friendly flowers grown organically on our East Texas flower farm. We strive for zero waste on the farm and in our design studio. We are Melanie and Erin, a mother-daughter designer and flower farmer team passionate about stunning and sustainable wedding flowers. Visit the farm to learn how we grow, harvest, and design your wedding florals. We believe in re-purposing and re-flowering. Our full-service packages include repurposing your ceremony flowers to the reception or bar area by our staff. After the celebrations, we collect our floral materials, containers, and vases. Should you choose to re-flower, we offer delivery to a local elder care facility to share your beautiful blooms with seniors. Because we grow, harvest, and design on the farm, your flowers are beautiful, long-lasting, and kind to the earth. We offer custom floral wearables, including floral groom lapels, floral 'tattoos', and jewelry. Our pledge to sustainability on our farm and in our design studio: #1 Economically sustainable - We grow over 85% of the floriculture products we use and source from local flower farmers as needed. Schedule your farm tour and learn how we grow your wedding flowers! #2. Environmentally sustainable - East Texas Flower Farm strives to maintain an ecological balance by conserving natural resources. We never use floral foam and constantly seek ways to reduce waste that potentially could find its way to landfills. #3. Socially sustainable - When we must source flowers from off the farm, we search for local producers first. We are committed to supporting American flower farms as much as possible. And those who are certified fair trade when we must seek flowers from further away. Not everyone in the floral supply chain is treated with fair pay or safe working conditions. This is unethical and unsustainable. Your wedding can include the floral magic of your dreams and be eco-friendly. You can learn how we grow, harvest, and design your wedding florals by scheduling a personal consultation. East Texas Flower Farm is based in Tyler, TX.
