Hey There! Thank you so much for stopping by my page. My name is Kat, and I'm the co-owner and lead Photographer behind East To West Images. I consider myself to be an adventurer, a storyteller, and your new friend with a lens! Your experience matters to me just as much as delivering your photos you will treasure for a lifetime.
With over 5+ years of experience in event management, and having been a guest-of-honor myself, I feel confident that I can not only authentically capture the magic in your love story, but also navigate a variety of other aspects of your day such as helping to build your timeline, vendor coordination, and a stress-free experience on my end with flexible payment.
Having been a guest-of-honor back at the end of 2019, I know just how exciting and also overwhelming this time can be.
Basically, I want to take as much of the pressure off of you, so that you can focus on what really matters; being present, enjoying those around you, and celebrating your love story.
I like to shoot in the styles of:
Natural Light (more real, less flash where possible)
Lifestyle (Capture your candid moments, while offering some direction for those portrait and family sessions)
Documentary (Looking for all of the moments around you)
Whether you have an intimate backyard wedding in mind or are looking to adventure out into the mountains with your love, my goal is to help capture your adventures, as authentically as possible, while having the most FUN possible! Love is a rare kind of magic, and celebrating it should be a blast! Let's go exploring, be silly, laugh, and make this moment something as unique as your story.

ver and with whatever we needed. Made sure that we were having the best day ever while simultaneously capturing the best aspects of our day. She not only ended up singing songs from Frozen to get my nieces to smile for pictures because the connection wasn't so great on her phone to play something, but also ran through hail that came out of nowhere just to get the perfect shot. She helped me get dressed and made sure my venue was doing the right things and drove us to the local beach for additional photos all while capturing the whole day! . This girl will be there when you need her. She will doing everything in her power to make sure your event is documented in the most beautiful light. In addition she is great at working with the friends and family who are a part of your big day. I especially love that she has a specific style. Her photos are beautiful with a little edge to them. Kat avoids the tendency a lot of photographers have to overly edit images to the point they look fake. Her images are quality from the time she snaps the first pic. Do yourself a favor and hire her.

Not only was she quick to respond in spite of a busy schedule, she came fully prepared to meet with the bride to add a more personal touch to the process. Leading up to the wedding, she made sure to discuss everything that we required of her and offered extremely valuable suggestions throughout. Her friendly and upbeat demeanor completely eliminated the incredible amount of stress I was under and created a welcoming environment day of in which the guests and entire wedding party felt important and included. She also sent us a few beautiful sneak peak photos the very next day. Needless to say, the bride was thrilled.
Ultimately she provided us with a highly professional service from beginning to end and I couldn’t recommend her more. I’ve enjoyed working with her so much that I’ve asked her to take my engagement photos later this fall.
