About this vendor
Located in Shoreline, WA, East to West Images is a seasoned wedding photographer and your new friend with a lens.
Serving the PNW * ID * MA + Anywhere you want to go!
Hey There! Thank you so much for stopping by my page. My name is Kat, and I'm the co-owner and lead Photographer behind East To West Images. I consider myself to be an adventurer, a storyteller, and your new friend with a lens! Your experience matters to me just as much as delivering your photos you will treasure for a lifetime.
With over 5+ years of experience in event management, and having been a guest-of-honor myself, I feel confident that I can not only authentically capture the magic in your love story, but also navigate a variety of other aspects of your day such as helping to build your timeline, vendor coordination, and a stress-free experience on my end with flexible payment.
Having been a guest-of-honor back at the end of 2019, I know just how exciting and also overwhelming this time can be.
Basically, I want to take as much of the pressure off of you, so that you can focus on what really matters; being present, enjoying those around you, and celebrating your love story.
I like to shoot in the styles of:
Natural Light (more real, less flash where possible)
Lifestyle (Capture your candid moments, while offering some direction for those portrait and family sessions)
Documentary (Looking for all of the moments around you)
Whether you have an intimate backyard wedding in mind or are looking to adventure out into the mountains with your love, my goal is to help capture your adventures, as authentically as possible, while having the most FUN possible! Love is a rare kind of magic, and celebrating it should be a blast! Let's go exploring, be silly, laugh, and make this moment something as unique as your story.
If I sound like your gal, send me a message or give me a shout! I'd love to get to know you better and see if we'd be a good fit!

Working with Kat has been one of the best experiences I’ve had professionally. I’ve second shot for her as well as worked along side her doing video for a few weddings during the 2...
022 season. She’s a joy to work with and is really good at putting everyone around her at ease and in a cheerful mood. She’s one of those genuinely kind and uplifting people who’s energy is just nice to around, I’ve seen her adapt effortlessly to any wedding or event need and provide support and solutions. Her work stands out because of her style that stands out yet is able to capture each couples day in uniquely. She really is your friend with a lens!
Hiring Kat was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding at Jenne Farm on Whidbey Island. My husband and I had different ideas of what we wanted for our photography. I want...
ed grand landscape images and he wanted raw emotion, unposed images. We talked Kat through our wants and provided her with sample photos. Wow, she absolutely delivered. Within days of our wedding, she provided 37 photos and we were blown away. She completely understood what we wanted and the end result is absolutely gorgeous!!!
Working with Kat was an absolute joy. She is such a fun person. She bantered with our guests and had people laughing, smiling, and enjoying the photo sessions. She felt more like a friend than someone we hired. Her words of affirmation throughout the wedding prep, the moments leading up to the wedding, and during the event were greatly appreciated. Hire Kat. Look no further. She's a spectacular photographer and you want her behind the camera on your special day.
Ohh my goodness. She is freaking amazing. We immediately connected during our first convo.

s very nervous and she made me feel not only comfortable but beautiful and effortlessly natural as if she was there. She is very professional! The day of wedding was extremely hot and she did wonderful with my mother who was being rude. I truly love that she adapts to us. I would love to book future photos with her. Her energy is unmatched!!
First off, we just want to start this review by saying this was shoot was literally THE BEST day of our lives! Our elopement was everything we had ever hoped for and more! Kat has ...
such a special way of making photo shoots so fun and exciting that you feel completely comfortable in your skin. She had such an eye for capturing every single unique and memorable moment of our elopement, that we’re able to relive the day each time we look back at our gallery. We will definitely be using East to West for future events and personal shoots. We can’t thank you enough, Kat!!
Not only is Kat the most phenomenal photographer, but she truly is an incredible person who went above and beyond to make our day special and memorable. She made sure to help whene...
ver and with whatever we needed. Made sure that we were having the best day ever while simultaneously capturing the best aspects of our day. She not only ended up singing songs from Frozen to get my nieces to smile for pictures because the connection wasn't so great on her phone to play something, but also ran through hail that came out of nowhere just to get the perfect shot. She ended the night hanging with us at our after party because we loved her vibe and all around genuine soul. I cannot wait to book her for more projects!
I am so happy with East to West Images - Kat was utterly amazing. We met over coffee before my wedding where she was so kind and personable; she helped me bring to life the picture...
s I wanted captured of our wedding day into a game plan. She is so easy to get along with and in addition to taking beautiful pictures of our wedding, she was always checking in with me to see if I needed anything. I cannot recommend her enough!! When she says "friend with a lens," she truly means it. Kat is the best!! She was punctual, professional, and truly exceeded my expectations. I am so thankful we found her as she did an amazing job of capturing the perfect blend of posed and candid pictures that will help us commemorate our wedding for years and years to come!
Kat is sweet and so amazing. I’m glad to have been able to get to know her over this last year of planning.
Kat is the most amazing person you’ll ever meet! We absolutely loved having her be part of our day and would recommend her for all your photographer needs.
She was professional,...
organized and made everyone comfortable which made the day even better. Our family and friends loved them and are looking forward to seeing all our photos too. She didn’t only capture our wedding, she captured all the love and emotions from our family and friends.
Kat made my special day even more special! We are so happy with our photos and couldn't have asked for a more professional, helpful, and friendly person to be our photographer! She...
made our group photos interactive and lively! I highly recommend Kat for all of your events.
HIRE KAT!! That’s the best piece of advice I can give to couples planning their weddings. Kat is so sweet, helpful and supportive. She was so flexible with our ever-changing weddin...
g plans due to COVID and local wildfires. She was so accommodating and communicative before the wedding and so supportive and helpful during the wedding. She helped me get dressed and made sure my venue was doing the right things and drove us to the local beach for additional photos all while capturing the whole day! She was quick to see the special moments and get them on film. She was one of the last people to leave the wedding and made the whole day so fun and easy! I consider Kat more than just my wedding photographer, she became a friend through the process and I recommend her to everyone!!
Kat was actually invited to my wedding as a guest. When there was a mix-up with my photographer she stepped up and took the most beautiful photos. I am seriously obsessed with them...
. This girl will be there when you need her. She will doing everything in her power to make sure your event is documented in the most beautiful light. In addition she is great at working with the friends and family who are a part of your big day. I especially love that she has a specific style. Her photos are beautiful with a little edge to them. Kat avoids the tendency a lot of photographers have to overly edit images to the point they look fake. Her images are quality from the time she snaps the first pic. Do yourself a favor and hire her.
Kat was an absolute pleasure to work with! As the maid of honor, I was tasked with finding a local photographer to replace one that dropped out for my sister’s wedding this winter....
We couldn’t have asked for anyone better than Kat.
Not only was she quick to respond in spite of a busy schedule, she came fully prepared to meet with the bride to add a more personal touch to the process. Leading up to the wedding, she made sure to discuss everything that we required of her and offered extremely valuable suggestions throughout. Her friendly and upbeat demeanor completely eliminated the incredible amount of stress I was under and created a welcoming environment day of in which the guests and entire wedding party felt important and included. She also sent us a few beautiful sneak peak photos the very next day. Needless to say, the bride was thrilled.
Ultimately she provided us with a highly professional service from beginning to end and I couldn’t recommend her more. I’ve enjoyed working with her so much that I’ve asked her to take my engagement photos later this fall.
Thanks again, Kat, for making my sister’s wedding so unforgettable! I can’t wait to work with you again soon!
