Eastbay Campground is a family-run business established in 1998. Its quiet, tranquil atmosphere and beautiful scenery have made it a well-loved vacation spot for many families. Featuring a full-service marina; cabin, boat, and kayak rentals; excellent fishing opportunities; and a C-store and bait shop, this peaceful site has something for everyone. The friendly team at Eastbay Campground are lifelong residents of the area, and are happy to suggest local sightseeing spots.
Eastbay Campground can host ceremonies outdoors on the beautiful handcrafted gazebo, while its bright and airy Odessa Event Center is perfect for receptions. Featuring panoramic lake views, elegant light fixtures, and high-vaulted ceilings, the Event Center can seat up to 400 guests. There’s also outdoor space on its balcony area. The Event Center’s minimal design makes it easy to transform to suit your vision. The venue’s renowned executive chef Sue Zierle will provide expert catering services with a wide variety of menu options, and bar rental is also available. Complimentary tables and chairs will be provided, and other event rental items are available on request. Subject to availability, guests can lodge overnight in the site’s 13 well-equipped and cozy cabins. The site is fully wheelchair-accessible to ensure a safe experience for all. Staff was super helpful when we decided to move the entire wedding inside the venue two days before the wedding. Made the whole day easier with the bar and catering in the venue itself. Also the opportunity to stay on site was helpful with the transitions of the day and getting ready.

Eastbay Campground was great to work with! It was so nice to have our wedding ceremony and reception in one place, it was very affordable, and the space itself it quite beautiful, not needing much decor. The food was good and we loved being able to have our wedding party and family stay right at the resort.

Eastbay Campground was great to work with! They had fantastic communication throughout the planning process and were very helpful on the wedding day. It’s a beautiful venue with a ton of beautiful areas to take photos and the flexibility to have the ceremony indoors or outside. We highly recommend them!

My wedding was amazing even when the weather was bad thanks to Val and the crew it was beautiful view and building. But more importantly they were easy to work with and really went above and beyond to make sure everything was right while I was taking care of my newborn. The cabins where amazing and whenwe were done celebrating at the event center we had a nice fire outdoors at the cabins with our friends and family. It was truly one of the best experiences I have ever had that will never be forgotten. I can’t wait to bring our kids here to reminisce about our experience. 10 stars

Eastbay Campground has a beautiful venue for both wedding ceremonies and receptions with indoor and outdoor options depending on the weather. We planned to have our ceremony outdoor but it started raining the hour before and we moved it indoors quickly and with no issues. Eastbay’s staff is extremely flexible and helpful with anything you need. They were available to answer all questions and give helpful ideas. The on site chefs prepared an amazing meal for our wedding and have a large menu to choose from.
One of the biggest perks was the conscience to have their cabins rentals on site, we were able to have family and our wedding party stay right at the campground and it was nice to have everyone so close. Other friends and family were able to pull their campers to Eastbay and stay on site as well.

We loved having our wedding here, it was so nice to have the ceremony in the gazebo and the reception in the Odessa, it’s a beautiful location right on the lake. It was so nice to have everything all in one place! We didn’t have to worry about hiring a caterer because they have their own chefs, there’s a bar, and another awesome perk was they did all the cleanup for us so when we were exhausted on Sunday morning all we had to do was go pick up our decorations that were all ready to go for us! Lots of great spots for photos, and cabins very close to the wedding location we got to stay in. Very reasonably priced, easy to work with, and very responsive to all my questions I had while I was wedding planning. 😊

Eastbay is a beautiful venue right outside of Devils Lake. Val is very responsive to phone calls/emails. Bill and Val made set up easy, they had all of the tables and linens out for us. They have a caterer right on site and have a local bar take care of alcohol needs. We received a lot of compliments on the food for our reception- beef tips and mashed potatoes. We did not use the Gazebo; however, it is very beautiful with a view of the lake behind it. The rental cabins were perfect for the weekend, once the reception was done people could just walk back to their cabin.

The venue is beautiful for a outdoor lake wedding!
We were not impressed with the communication and organization of the venue managers - we had guests who were told they had accommodations and came to check in wedding day and had none.

Bill and Val are great to work with. They are organized and pretty good on the communication side as well. They make the set up and tear down process fairly simple and the location is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The outdoor gazebo was a wonderful place to get married (we had 35 mile an hour winds and hearing was a little difficult for some guests, but that is part of the risk of having an outdoor wedding) and the reception venue is absolutely gorgeous.

We had our wedding at Eastbay just this past weekend. I can’t say enough good things about it! They make the entire experience as easy as possible. In house chefs do an amazing job on food and the bar contracted through them is super easy to work with as well. You can’t go wrong with picking this venue!

My husband and I had our wedding reception out here and it was wonderful! Bill & Val were amazing to work with. The venue is a beautiful space & didn’t need many decorations. The wood is gorgeous. We were able to go out & decorate the day before & take down was an absolute breeze. We had a taco bar for our supper & was very good. Highly recommend renting this venue!
