Eastbay Campground is a family-run business established in 1998. Its quiet, tranquil atmosphere and beautiful scenery have made it a well-loved vacation spot for many families. Featuring a full-service marina; cabin, boat, and kayak rentals; excellent fishing opportunities; and a C-store and bait shop, this peaceful site has something for everyone. The friendly team at Eastbay Campground are lifelong residents of the area, and are happy to suggest local sightseeing spots.
Eastbay Campground can host ceremonies outdoors on the beautiful handcrafted gazebo, while its bright and airy Odessa Event Center is perfect for receptions. Featuring panoramic lake views, elegant light fixtures, and high-vaulted ceilings, the Event Center can seat up to 400 guests. There’s also outdoor space on its balcony area. The Event Center’s minimal design makes it easy to transform to suit your vision. The venue’s renowned executive chef Sue Zierle will provide expert catering services with a wide variety of menu options, and bar rental is also available. Complimentary tables and chairs will be provided, and other event rental items are available on request. Subject to availability, guests can lodge overnight in the site’s 13 well-equipped and cozy cabins. The site is fully wheelchair-accessible to ensure a safe experience for all. Eastbay is a beautiful venue right outside of Devils Lake. Val is very responsive to phone calls/emails. Bill and Val made set up easy, they had all of the tables and linens out for us. They have a caterer right on site and have a local bar take care of alcohol needs. We received a lot of compliments on the food for our reception- beef tips and mashed potatoes. We did not use the Gazebo; however, it is very beautiful with a view of the lake behind it. The rental cabins were perfect for the weekend, once the reception was done people could just walk back to their cabin.

We were not impressed with the communication and organization of the venue managers - we had guests who were told they had accommodations and came to check in wedding day and had none.
Bill and Val are great to work with. They are organized and pretty good on the communication side as well. They make the set up and tear down process fairly simple and the location is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The outdoor gazebo was a wonderful place to get married (we had 35 mile an hour winds and hearing was a little difficult for some guests, but that is part of the risk of having an outdoor wedding) and the reception venue is absolutely gorgeous.

We had our wedding at Eastbay just this past weekend. I can’t say enough good things about it! They make the entire experience as easy as possible. In house chefs do an amazing job on food and the bar contracted through them is super easy to work with as well. You can’t go wrong with picking this venue!
My husband and I had our wedding reception out here and it was wonderful! Bill & Val were amazing to work with. The venue is a beautiful space & didn’t need many decorations. The wood is gorgeous. We were able to go out & decorate the day before & take down was an absolute breeze. We had a taco bar for our supper & was very good. Highly recommend renting this venue!
