When we were looking for a wedding photographer, we knew pretty quickly that Eastbrook Photography was going to be our top choice. Having just celebrated our wedding, we could not have been anymore pleased or impressed with Mike. His photography style and his technical expertise are second to none, and some of the shots that he took were absolutely incredible. Mike is also very friendly, and was a pleasure to work with during the planning process. We could tell during our wedding day that he takes a lot of pride in his work, and was prepared for all of the standard wedding photo shots as well as unique ones that required some pre-scouting. He even pivoted a couple shots due to rainy weather to take advantage of the conditions and snap many stunning photos. Bottom line, if you want wedding photos that you'll love more than you thought was possible, hire Mike.

Hiring Mike with Eastbrook Photography was the best decision we made when planning our wedding. I cannot say enough good things about Mike- he met with us in person well before our wedding to get to know us and hear our vision. On the actual wedding day, he was communicative, organized, friendly, and made sure that every photo we dreamed of was captured. His assistant Christie was also very kind, welcoming, and talented. Though we are still waiting on the final set, our sneak peak photos are simply the most gorgeous I’ve ever seen and I cannot thank Mike and the team enough. We felt strongly about getting vibrant and true to color photos that would stand the test of time, unlike the washed out trend currently happening, and Mike did not disappoint. Please don’t hesitate to hire them for your special event!

When looking for a wedding photographer, there is a striking difference between someone who can do a good job documenting an event and someone who has an artistic vision for taking advantage of creative opportunities based on the conditions of your specific wedding (weather, lighting, surroundings, decorations, etc.) with the knowledge of how they will interact with everything from the framing of a shot to depth of field or exposure. It was really important to us to find a photographer who could do both, and after doing lots of looking around and eventually meeting with Mike in person, we decided on Eastbrook Photography. The only issue we ran into over the course of planning and waiting on photos was that Mike could sometimes be a bit slow to respond to emails. One of those times (that was dealing with more time-sensitive questions) we eventually just called him, which did end up being an effective way to get everything worked out in short order, but there were a few times where we were left waiting on an email response for longer than we would have expected. We suspect he gets crazy busy during wedding season and emails just start to overwhelm. He was always very apologetic when his responses took a long time. Mike was always extremely friendly, and on the day-of, he had the perfect blend of being professional while helping us relax and have a lot of fun, making working with him a joy; and the amazing and beautiful pictures of our wedding are exactly what we wanted! We got a two photographer package and the second photographer, Nikki, also did an amazing job—not only was she experienced and knowledgeable, but she helped make everything go smoothly and really went above and beyond to help us create some breathtaking photos (there’s a delicate athleticism and unique skill required to run, duck, and weave with a lit sparkler in the dark for something like 15 minutes straight!). Overall, we were thrilled with our photographers and the resulting pictures! We would definitely recommend them to others.

We hired Eastbrook Photography for our wedding a few weeks ago and WOW, these photos are an absolute dream. Mike has an eye for gorgeous shots and is SUPER fun to be around. He felt like one of the party by the end of the night and the shots of our band? WOWWOWOWOW Couldn't recommend him more!
