My husband and I had a design style and color palette in mind, as well as a few flower species that we particularly admired. This was all we needed to give Jen to allow her to work her magic as an expert flower cultivator and florist. With the end result, I felt like Jen had read my mind. Our wedding flowers were truly one of my favorite parts about our wedding. We had beautifully designed bouquets, boutonnières, centerpieces, large arrangements, an arbor, and cake flowers. We also got a DIY Custom Bucket, which allowed us to utilize our creativity in putting together some small arrangements of our own! The mixture of textures, colors of different dahlias, and pops of cool tones were exactly what I wanted. I am so pleased that we decided to work with Eastern River Farm and highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding.

r. Jen walked us through all of the spring flowers and even let us take some home! She communicated with me every step of the way, even when they had a tough season for harvesting, she let me know what would or would not be available for our fall wedding. I wanted to give Jen the freedom to create beautiful arrangements and she did not disappoint! All of our guests were talking about how beautiful they were all night! She takes pride in her farm and her work and we loved being able to support a family business.

A few months later, when we drove away with our van overflowing with beautiful, organic, fresh-cut flowers for under $1,900, it literally felt like a steal! We went with a combination of DIY buckets and arrangements by Jen, and were thrilled with the results. Jen means it when she says she loves helping couples achieve their dreams, and she cannot help but go above and beyond. Our venue had a scenic backdrop, but otherwise flowers were our only decoration, and they were perfect. Colorful, lively, romantic, and and beautifully styled, they made a statement all on their own. For us, doing some "DIY" elements with Jen saved money, but it was also a really fun and memorable experience. For our version of a bachelor/bachelorette party, my husband and I took my small wedding party for a visit to the farm, where Jen led us on a tour and taught us to make our own bouquets and boutonnieres. We loved meeting Jen's animals and had a great time taking photos in the fields overflowing with blooms. Jen's tour was really an education - she taught us the name of each flower and shared what she loves about it. As a result, when we saw the final arrangements a month later, the flowers themselves felt like familiar friends. Jen offered all of the tips we needed to feel confident in making our arrangements, and was very generous with the supplies she included in the order (wire, tape, pins, etc) so we would be prepared. She also carefully loaded everything for us when we came to pick up the flowers, and we were able to store them in for two days before the event without any issues. Putting the arrangements together the day before the wedding took time, but it was a great bonding activity for members of both our families. It definitely helped to have one or two crafty "captains" to take charge of the process! Eastern River farm is a growing family business, and Jen has a lot on her plate. She was incredibly responsive and generous with her time throughout the process, but at times she needed a reminder of the details we had discussed, especially as our order changed over time. In the end there were absolutely no mishaps or errors, and Jen always reached out to double-check each step, but we found it helpful to make sure we sent Jen an email every time we spoke on the phone, so we would have that written note for both of us to refer back to. Couples who are overwhelmed by the planning process or want a "set it and forget it" experience may be stressed out by Jen's approach, but we ultimately valued her friendliness, flexibility and enthusiasm and were willing to send a few extra emails to clear up any confusion along the way. Jen is the sweetest woman who always responded to my emails quickly and you can tell she loves what she does. Her farm has so many exquisite flowers and greenery and I love that it's family-run and doesn't use pesticides or herbicides in its farming practices.

y vision, learning about her family's incredible farm, and discovering our shared musical background, I knew we had found the person to do our flowers! Jen and I stayed in touch for over a year and through 2 rescheduled wedding dates. We ended up ordering several DIY buckets of gorgeous flowers and greenery to make center peices with (such a fun pre-wedding activity!) Jen was kind enough to walk me around her idyllic farm to look at the flowers when they were still in the ground and then gave me a crash course on how to arrange. So special! She built me a STUNNING flower crown, gorgeous bouquets, corsages, boutonnières, and custom pieces to attach to our chuppah. Her husband Scott also found some beautiful birch on their farm that my husband used to build our chuppah. When we couldn't fit our entire order safely in our truck, Jen was kind enough to drive out to our home to deliver some flowers the morning of our wedding. I can't recommend working with Eastern River Farm enough--Jen and Scott are talented and kind and I can't wait to visit their farm again one day!

While her husband graciously packed up our car with the fabulous blooms, her daughters showed us around their stunning farm, including showing us their chickens and ducks! Jen was amazing to work with. She saw our vision and just ran with it taking all the floral arrangements and boutiques above and beyond my expectations and communicating along the way with questions or alternative suggestions (which were much better than my original ideas). The moment we arrived we felt at home! While Jen and her husband were safely packing our flowers, their two adorable daughters showed us around the farm, we even got to meet the chickens!! The flowers were everything we had wanted and more! Everyone at our wedding was blown away with how beautiful and fresh and vibrant they all were!! I even decided to have my bridal bouquet preserved because I loved it so much (even though I was not originally planning on doing this)! The service was also amazing -Jen was attentive, responsive, kind, and very easy to work with! I also love that Eastern River Farm is local and family-oriented.

Jennifer even contacted me the week of the wedding to talk through the available flowers and ensure that the color and flower types were exactly right. I would highly recommend their flowers and services for weddings and other important events.

ws of flowers at her farm but I still couldn't put it together in my head. But Jennifer was confident she could deliver the soft romantic pastel tones my daughter wanted for her wedding. It is not like going to a florist and you show them a picture and they order or import exactly what you want. It is all locally grown. So, you get some really unique bouquets and not your cookie cutter Pinterest bouquet. But Jennifer selected each flower with care and even planted some (as she was expanding her farm) to include the type of blooms we wanted. (Thanks Jennifer). These flowers are so well cared for and she times her cutting and regulates the temperature so that they are at the perfect stage of blooming for your day. I had no idea how much science went into it but she is ON it. I enjoyed the bouquets around my house the whole week after the wedding (as our bridesmaids couldn't take theirs with them). There was such variety and yet uniformity to it as she paired just the right flowers to transition from one bloom to the next subtly. I honestly can't say enough. You will not regret it. Just trust her. We kinda gave her creative license and she knocked it out of the park. They were beautiful beyond my expectations. The flowers truly transformed the space. Just let Jennifer do her thing and you really won't have to worry about any of it.
