Although the property rests upon acres of pristine fields and orchards, it is only a few miles from downtown Charlottesville, creating a beautiful blend of seclusion and modern convenience. The 77-acre family-operated farm is wrapped in thick forests, magical meadows and bountiful orchards and is capped with a breathtaking overlook point. Couples can bask in the picturesque setting and enjoy unparalleled views. The Blue Ridge Mountains provide an iconic backdrop to say ‘I do’, framed by rambling rows of fruit trees and encircled by endless thickets of untouched forest.
Couples design their dream day around the winery’s expansive outdoor spaces. The tone is private and secluded with lots of room to roam and breathe among rolling hills, lush meadows and raspberry vines. Three main event spaces highlight the grounds: the peaceful mountain top location high above the tasting room and terraces, the perfect spot for a first look, an intimate ceremony, or wedding portraits; two open lawn terraces offering more than 30,000 square feet, complete with a 100’ sail-cloth tent with lights and flooring; and the apple and pear orchard ideal for micro ceremonies, wedding party photographs or first looks.

Emma Morel grew up in Charlottesville and lives just outside of town with her husband, two sons and dog, Bennett. Her background is in psychology and education, and she taught pre-algebra out in Madison County before joining the Eastwood team in 2021. She loves meeting with couples and learning about their vision for their special day, and then being a resource for them as they navigate the wedding planning process and seeing that vision to come to life at Eastwood. What Eastwood includes in their wedding package is incredible and eliminates so much stress. They provided tables, a stunning sailcloth tent, barrel bars, on-site transportation to the ceremony location, a luxury restroom trailer, and around 200 chairs that can be used for either the ceremony or reception depending on your needs. Having all of these essentials included meant there were so many things we didn’t have to think about or rent elsewhere. The bridal cottage was also a perfect space to get ready and relax before the big day.
Eastwood also works closely with you to select your wine package, and it was a huge hit! We actually sold out of wine very quickly at our wedding, which says everything about their standard of wine.
We were married outdoors on a crisp fall day, and the setting was breathtaking. The mountaintop ceremony location created the most beautiful backdrop, and our photos turned out better than we ever could have imagined. We had just over 110 guests, and the space felt both intimate and perfectly sized. Plenty of room for people to get out on the dance floor. Our guests were incredibly complimentary of their entire experience at Eastwood, many raving about how it was one of the best wedding's they had ever been to.
Emma, Eastwood's wedding coordinator, was phenomenal. From our very first inquiry through the end of our wedding night, she was incredibly communicative, responsive, and personal. While many venues sent automated responses, Emma brought a personal touch that made us feel truly cared for. When we met with her, she patiently answered every question from our family and walked us through all of the logistics with ease. No question was too small, and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. She also worked seamlessly with our planner and caterer, both of whom had experience at Eastwood, which made everything run smoothly.
If you’re considering Eastwood Farm and Winery for your wedding, we cannot recommend it highly enough. It’s a beautiful venue with thoughtful inclusions, amazing wine, and a team that genuinely cares about making your day memorable to all.

From our first first email, Emma was so responsive and accommodating and that level of service continued through the entire process. At our visit, Emma took the time to sit down with us, offer us a tasting, and really made us feel valued, more so than at any other venue we toured. Emma and Eastwood are also beloved by local vendors, which makes the entire process run so smoothly.
The cottage was such a lovely spot to stay and made for a really beautiful and seamless spot for getting ready. We loved that between the cottage, the mountaintop, the terrace, and the tent, you have access to so many different gorgeous spots for photos. The mountaintop provided a gorgeous and intimate spot for our first look, and the terrace and tent really make it feel like you're tucked away in the woods, while the stairs, tent, and bar give the comfort of an established space.
We can't recommend Eastwood and Emma enough for a magical wedding day!

They do require you to purchase a wine package but their wine is delicious (huge hit!) and we’ve had fun using our excess as gifts! The team at Eastwood is spectacular! Emma's partnership and guidance throughout the process was unparalleled. She took us up to the tent/terrace several times (more times than she needed to) as we figured out our vision for the wedding.
Having the cottage on location was incredibly helpful. We were not only able to get organized in the days leading up, but also had a space for people to gather / our flower girls were able to sneak down and go down to bed a bit early too.
We are so thrilled that we had our wedding at Eastwood!

d was the perfect location. The views of the Blue Ridge are incredible and it really feels like you are up in the mountains even though it's only a 15-minute drive from Charlottesville. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the venue was. The views of the sunset from the tent were incredible. The wine and wine slushies were a hit as well!
We rented the Winery Cottage for the weekend and would highly recommend for other couples. It was helpful to have an indoor space to keep things for before / after the wedding as well as a location to change, bustle the dress, etc. We were a little worried about the logistics of getting all the guests into the tent, but it was not a problem at all. Everything went very smoothly throughout the evening.
Emma was incredibly helpful throughout the process. One of the reasons we chose Eastwood is because she made us feel welcomed and comfortable from the first time we met to tour the venue. She is responsive, patient, kind, and helped to ensure everything went as smoothly as possible.

got married April 27 and had such an amazing time. Emma gave us a tour in March 2023 and we knew it was the venue for us as soon as we saw the event spaces. Throughout the planning process, Emma went above and beyond to ensure all of our questions were answered, provide vendor suggestions, coordinate meetings, ensure our vendors knew the location, and so much more. She is a true delight to work with!! The tent and terraces are absolutely stunning, our guests loved the views and proximity to downtown, so many of them had never seen it before and commented on how amazing it was. The evening flowed so perfectly with the locations being so close to one another for the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and Reception. The landscaping around the tent and terraces showcases the beauty of the Charlottesville mountains, it really speaks for itself. We used the cottage onsite as a getting ready location and it was so convenient and so nice to be there throughout the day. We couldn’t recommend Eastwood more!! It is truly a special place to tie the knot! We will definitely be back to visit.

I don’t even know where to start with explaining just how thankful I am that I found this venue randomly online and ultimately chose Eastwood. I got married 9/9 and my wedding was...
above and beyond my wildest dreams. It started with the people. From beginning to end, Emma was there every step of the way to answer any questions, give tours & offer support as a true friend. She gave us vendor recs that we used, and coordinated walk thrus to make sure everyone was on the same page. An added bonus is she is the absolutely nicest person on the planet & made me feel comfortable and confident during the entire process.
We chose the mountaintop as the location for both the ceremony and reception under the tent. It is so naturally gorgeous that we didn’t need to do much at all to jazz it up and Eastwood already has many flowers & bushes provided. I lost count with the amount of comments I received saying it was “the most beautiful venue ever”.
As for logistics, Eastwood offers transportation from the bottom winery to the top of the mountain and had plenty of parking for our guests. We actually hired big buses to bring guests to and from downtown hotel blocks and there was plenty of room for them to turn around up there. It feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, but it’s like 7 min from bars/restaurants on the Downtown Mall! There are restrooms available, and the cutest little bar is under the tent. One spontaneous thing we did was take pictures at the top overlook (which I didn’t know existed) at sunset. It was an intimate time to get away from the craziness and quietly look down at our guests having the best time. Our wedding party pictures were in the vineyards below. So many picture-perfect places to explore and seeing our guests post scenery pictures on social media made us thrilled they thought it was just as pretty, too.
From its natural beauty, incredible staff and close proximity to downtown, I couldn’t recommend Eastwood more and you will not find anything else like it.

be! The staff at Eastwood, in particular Emma the wedding manager, was beyond helpful throughout the entire planning process. She answered all our questions and went above and beyond in helping us transform the space into exactly what we wanted. The tables and chairs they have for use were so beautiful and comfortable and helped with us maintaining our budget. The on-site shuttle was an amazing addition that helped keep us and all our guests comfortable with transportation to the tent and those beautiful mountain views!
All of our guests, both local and those from out of town, were absolutely stunned by the beauty of the winery/venue (as we were too!) and could not stop talking about how gorgeous it was.

Eastwood has 3 distinct spaces for you to enjoy on your wedding day - the hilltop is fantastic for ceremonies with mountain views, the tent and orchard are lovely for an outdoor soiree, and the barn with it's wide and inviting patio are great for an indoor celebration and dancing the night away.
There's a cottage on site you can rent for your wedding party to stay in, which makes it so easy to have a place to store you personal belongings and pack up items at the end of the wedding. They also provide on-site catering facilities (not every venue does!) and it's basically the closest winery venue to Charlottesville proper. A great and beautiful location for wedding celebrations! We love Eastwood!

Emma is incredible - she is so kind and responsive, and not only supported every single vision and idea that I had, but worked to help make it come alive. Eastwood is the perfect combination of mountain winery vibes while still being accessible to the downtown mall (only a 10 min drive!). The morning of my wedding, when we decided to go with the rain plan and move the entire ceremony under the tent, it was Emma on the phone who was able to calm me down. She and my planner helped orchestrate the move to under the tent and the wedding went just as smoothly and as beautifully as it would have out on the terrace. iful natural setting, but they have also thought ahead to accommodate every wedding detail and need in a thoughtful, tasteful way.
We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at the tent level, and it was even more beautiful than we had envisioned! The landscaping framed all of the decorations well and provided a beautiful background, and the tent is exactly what we would have picked out if we had chosen it ourselves. There was plenty of room for 145 guests but it all still felt intimate, and the kids attending were able to run around without issue.
On top of the beautiful setup, the Eastwood team is incredible! From the first email, Emma was extremely responsive and went above and beyond in being helpful - including meeting us for a walkthrough on a day that the venue was technically closed, helping us think through table arrangements for seating and rental/budget implications, and figuring out our wine order with patience. They also already have an established relationship with a lot of other vendors in the area, and that was also a great help and reassurance through our planning. Nothing phased them and nothing around the venue was stressful.
Overall, we could not recommend Eastwood more - thanks to both the beauty of the venue itself, the proximity to Charlottesville, and the team! We are so glad that it will always be a special place we can return to.

ildflower hill and multiple spots from which to choose for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception won us over immediately. At Eastwood, you feel like you are far from town and nestled in the mountains, but yet just a 5-10 minute drive from downtown Charlottesville!
Emma Morel was punctual from the start, getting back to us immediately and with great enthusiasm. She gave us a tour of the venue within a short time of us contacting them and was extremely organized and professional, which was very helpful given all the questions we had. Emma explained all of the details related to having a wedding at the venue, but was never pushy or over eager. In fact, before we even started our tour, Emma sat us down and asked us about our story and how we came to this point, which was very personal and we appreciated that alot! Emma was just amazing from the first time we met her and was always responsive, professional, kind and genuine.
We are so happy that we chose Eastwood Farm and Winery for our wedding and have visited there many other times and will continue to do so. The staff worked wonderfully with our planner and again, Emma was nothing short of a 10 each time we needed her. Thank you!

past several years we have been so lucky to watch their team and establishment grow into a venue that is good all the way through: from their phenomenal team who will support every dream you have for your day (BIG shout out to Emma Morel for even helping us arrange a late night soft pretzel delivery), to the evident care that they put into every new project they undertake. There are so many fantastic locations on the property that we couldn't even include them all in our wedding weekend but trust me that you will want to try and use every single gorgeous space they have. We hosted the rehearsal dinner on the veranda, the ceremony at the mountain top, the cocktail hour on the lowest terrace, and the reception at the tent--guests commented how incredible having a different space for each piece of the day was, as it allowed us to build tailored atmospheres and let guests feel like they were exploring! The winery continues to get more incredible all the time and you couldn't pick a better spot to start or celebrate your marriage.

mma in particular was the best and so responsive, and helped answer so many questions we had! The venue is closer to downtown Charlottesville (only about 12-15 minutes) than so many other vineyard and winery locations in the area, which is a huge plus. We are so glad we had our wedding here and could not recommend it more! We look forward to visiting the winery many times in the future, and also appreciate that it is a woman-owned business.

eople we interacted with throughout the entire wedding planning process. The welcomed us with open arms, and constantly provided us updates as they expanded their property. We utilized the barn and veranda, and both were beautiful. We were able to briefly sneak away to the mountaintop for some amazing pictures as well. Even on a rainy windy afternoon, the venue was perfect. The wine was delicious, especially the wine slushies for cocktail hour. We are extremely happy that we got to celebrate at Eastwood!

oved watching it come to life and see how much they are investing in making the space work for events like ours. Emma is amazing - she is so sweet and was a joy to work with. She helped us brainstorm solutions and felt like a second wedding coordinator.
