A Vermont native, Steve studied at the New England School of Photography in Boston before returning home, where he has remained ever since. Though his love for his state inspires his landscape photography, Steve branched out into portrait photography after the birth of his daughter Lily. Now, his main goal is to help couples and families preserve their most important memories.
Steve will guide you through the photography process, helping you to get the best out of your experience. He'll capture all the small but significant details along with all the emotions of the day. Steve allows clients to create their own á-la-carte wedding packages, meaning you can personalize his services to fit your needs and budget. I wish I could get married again just so I could have Steve capture our day once more. I am so beyond thrilled with the photos he captured that will serve as forever memories for me and my family. Steve is so creative and had a vision that was exactly what I wanted. Steve was very kind and made me and my bridesmaid feel so comfortable while he was shooting before the wedding. Out of all of the vendors we chose, Eaton photography was the stand out and well worth the investment.

I have nothing but great things to say about Steve. He's such an amazing photographer, my photos that I have received so far are beautiful. There are some moments that he captured that I didn't even realize he was taking pictures! It was such a relief on the day of that he took charge and directed us for great pictures and also got so many amazing candid photos. I could not be happier with my experience. Highly recommend!

Steve was the absolute best wedding photographer we could have asked for. From our unique engagement session on the ski slopes to our wedding day, he went above and beyond in every way. For our engagement shoot, we wanted to capture our love for skiing, and Steve was fully on board—he even took the time to research the best ways to photograph us in that setting, bringing tons of creative ideas that made our photos unforgettable.
Throughout the entire wedding process, Steve kept in constant communication, making us feel supported and prepared. When our wedding day arrived, we faced an unexpected downpour, but that didn't faze him. Steve worked right through it, and the photos turned out better than we could have ever dreamed—truly stunning. Steve was an absolutely wonderful wedding photographer! He went above and beyond in so many way - from his excellent and timely communication to his friendliness with our guests, his discrete placement throughout the wedding day and of course his commitment to getting the best shots! My husband was being tossed in the air by his friends on the dance floor and looked down to see Steve right in the mix, capturing everything! He really made a point to understand our style as a couple and captured so many beautiful, candid and special moments that we will cherish forever. Do yourself a favor and book Steve - he was the absolute best!!

Steve was amazing to work with from the very first Zoom call introduction! We wanted to do something small, intimate, and non-traditional, which he fully embraced. Steve shot our engagement and wedding photos and did an awesome job. He was super easy to work with and laid back. As two people who aren't super comfortable in front of a camera, Steve made it really easy for my partner and I. Steve did a great job of capturing the fun of our wedding and we couldn't be happier with how the photos turned out. He was really dedicated to being there for the entirety of the event, and was able to capture some really cool moments without it feeling intrusive or anything like that. We also love that he organized the photos before sending them to us and it made it really easy to share with our family. We highly recommend Steve for any photo needs!

We had such an amazing experience working with Steve. He spent some time getting to know us and preparing us for the timeline of the wedding day. He showed up early to get to know the grounds and find some good photo spots. Steve was super professional and organized throughout the day! We are so thrilled with our wedding photos, Steve did an amazing job capturing the emotions and special moments throughout the day, and we will cherish these photos for a lifetime!

Steve is one of the best photographers! I found him online, and he was quick to respond to my requests. On the day of the event, he arrived early and sprung into action. He was personable, and by the end of the event, I felt as though he was a member of the family. He understood my vision, and each photo is stunning!! I worked with Eaton Photo to have my wedding captured in images. I not only had the most amazing photos, but I also got the most professional yet personal photographer on my day. Not only was I impressed with the photographer and the photos, but all the guests could not stop raving about how amazing the photographers were and how amazing my photos look. Steve was amazing, we can’t recommend him enough. We had our engagement photos done (which came out beautifully) and then a year later Steve photographed our wedding. He sat down with us before, to get an idea of what we wanted and absolutely delivered. On the day he was everywhere at once and captured every moment and every guest. He responds quickly, is extremely professional, and was perfect for us on our special day. The pictures are beautiful he did such an amazing job - thank you Steve!!

Steve Eaton, owner and operator of Eaton Photo, is an expert photographer and a very upstanding guy. We invited him to document our wedding this summer and the results are SPECTACULAR! He not only takes perfectly framed, creative shots but also is an amazing editor. His excellent work is only one reason why we hired him. My wife is really into photography as well and she was very impressed with the sample photos we viewed before we hired him so she is VERY happy that we did so. I've known Steve for a long time so it was a very easy decision for me. Steve is just so kind and laid back but super professional. My wife isn't 100% comfortable with people taking photos of her but Steve made her feel very comfortable through the whole process and did a great job with the timeline for the day. We both had an absolute blast spending the day with Steve which made our wedding that much more special and that much more memorable. I HIGHLY recommend hiring Steve from Eaton Photo! You will be extremely happy with your decision and he will document your occasion like no one else can! Hire the nicest guy ever to take the best photos ever!
