Sandra was so easy to work with and our pictures turned out amazingly! I am so glad we also booked her to capture our rehearsal dinner. Our portraits as well as our candid shots are great, and really captured how fun the night was. We are having a tough time deciding which photos to print out, they are all that good! This review is long overdue! We had a destination wedding in New Orleans over Memorial Day weekend 2018. I found Eau Claire Photographics online and Sandra immediately eliminated any concerns I had about not being able to meet before the wedding weekend. She was thorough in all of the details and I knew we were in good hands. The day of the wedding there was a horrible storm which forced the second-line parade to be moved back. Sandra and Sam were not scheduled to be at the entire reception, but they insisted on coming back later so they could capture the second line. We loved working with Sam from Eau Claire. We were married in the Quarter and he did a wonderful job of finding great backgrounds for our photos and made us feel so relaxed. He seemed to be every where during the ceremony and reception without being noticed (which is really just what you want!) and captured all sorts of wonderful moments. We are still working on figuring out which of the great photos we are going to put in our album-it is so hard to choose!

My wife and I absolutely loved our experience with Eau Claire Photographics!! Your wedding photos are one of the most important aspects of your wedding day, and choosing a photographer is SO important. We couldn't be happier that we chose Eau Claire Photographics for our wedding day! Sam shot our rehearsal dinner and Sandra shot our entire wedding. They were incredible! Eau Claire Photographics has a cult following in New Orleans. You probably haven’t even heard of them because they do not advertise or do social media promotions. When I started planning our wedding, I asked my friends and co-workers which photographers they liked. I got an overwhelming response that they all loved Sandra. At our first meeting, I asked Sandra why they don’t call them selves award winning like most other photographers. She responded that she only cares about her clients and not winning awards. She also said she wanted her clients to have a calm wedding day and not have it be just about taking photos. I left that meeting with a feeling that they really truly just care about their clients. I was right, on our wedding day Sandra knew the best photo spots near our venue, and helped arrange our schedule for what would work the best in our timeline. Most importantly she kept me calm. When I first saw our photos I cried. When I looked at them for a second time I cried again. She captured everything about out wedding day. Just everything. You might have never heard of Eau Claire Photographics, but you might also have trouble booking them because they book up so quickly. They are the best.

So Amazing! Went above and beyond. So helpful with planning how to arrange the timeline of the whole day to get the best pictures (our wedding was outside and I had no clue how to plan for good light). We didn't do a first look and Sandra made sure to get plenty of great pictures of my husband and I in just 15mins so we didn't miss a ton of our reception! Couldn't recommend more highly!

I honestly cannot say enough about how wonderful Sandra and Sam are! In my opinion, your photographer is one of your most important vendors. After your day is done, the photos are what you'll really have to remember it by- and to share with others. So, obviously we placed a great deal of importance on who we chose to capture such a special day. From the start, Sandra was so helpful and just great to work with. She helped talk through wardrobe color options for our engagement session (which I ended up getting tons of compliments on) and really made that whole experience one of the most fun "wedding activities" that we did. But where she and her husband, Sam, really went way above and beyond was for our ceremony. They had so many suggestions and ideas for lighting and bridal party placement- ideas that were different from the traditional way our venue was used (and being a nighttime wedding, lighting was going to be a big issue no matter what). The lighting for our ceremony was so different (much more romantic) than what I had seen other brides do at this venue- and it was so beautiful! Sam got to the site early to help instruct our lighting vendor and make sure everything was set just right. They made me feel so calm and confident about the space that had previously given me so much stress. And then, of course, there are the actual photos. They turned out so great. Eau Claire's style of photography really captures the little moments that make something like your wedding day so special. Looking back at the pictures puts us right there, back in that moment. Sandra and Sam are everything you could hope for in a photographer!

Sandra and Sam shot our wedding together - my husband and I are not crazy about having our photos taken in general, but Sandra and Sam made it painless. So calm, so reassuring, and the photos came out great. We look like the happiest versions of ourselves, no forced or weird smiles. Their documentary style perfectly captures the mood of the night without that feeling of "pushy photographer in guests' faces forcing smiley moments" and the posed formals were easy breezy - they just nailed it. Unobtrusive, friendly, gently elegant retouching, and speedy turnaround. They photograph with great skill, but also great kindness. Wonderful experience.

Truly wonderful! I had the pleasure of working with Sandra for our wedding photos and she was so awesome. The photos came out beautifully! I don't know how she does it, she didn't miss a moment. Upon looking at all the photos my uncle asked if I had two photographers and I said nope, just one. He could not believe all of the different angles she was able to catch. I live out of town and visited with her a few months before the wedding. She was very accommodating and communicated with me so well through the entire planning process, which is something i sometimes found hard with other venders being I was not there locally. I had the honor of working with both Sam and Sandra: her for my bridals two days before the wedding, and him the big day, and they were both so wonderful. Each of them worked in their own way, but both made it such an easy and relaxing process, instead of feeling like someone was watching my every move! They listened to our requests and did a great job of rallying everyone together to keep on the timeline. The pictures turned out beautifully. We opted out of a videographer because we felt that we might watch it just a few times, but pictures will last forever, and with their documentation style, it almost feels like a video. We were so busy trying to talk to everyone, the pictures have allowed us to look back and feel like we are actually there again. I would highly recommend Sam and Sandra to anyone!

Sandra did an amazing job as our photographer! Not only did she make everything go smoothly from day one, she made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire process! Sandra even helped me put together an entire itinerary for the day, to make sure we had plenty of time to get all of the shots my husband and I wanted. She did an incredibly job of capturing literally EVERYONE at our wedding. I feel like I can completely relive our wedding day each time I scroll through the 1300 pictures! I don't know how we will ever narrow things down to (finally) create our album. I can't recommend Sandra and her team enough.

If there were more stars to give for this review I would that is how great of an experience we had with both Sandra and Sam. Sandra is one of the most patient and caring human beings I have ever met in my life! She has a very calming way about her that was very comforting as a bride. I found out about Eau Claire at a bridal show in Jan. 2014 and instantly feel in love with their style esp since it seemed like they caught actual moments from the day that were not staged. My mother and I met with Sandra 1st and I knew she was the perfect photographer for me but I needed my fiancé’s approval since he was the one that was not a fan of having his picture taken. Sandra met with the 2 of us and as soon as we got in the car after we left Sandra my fiancé told me to book her! We had the joy of working with Sandra before the big day during our engagement session and we had a blast. The engagement pictures were perfect and she caught both our personalities and our 2 shih tzus which were a handful that day. On our wedding day Sandra and Sam went above and beyond their “job”, from Sandra secretly helping a bridesmaid get some dirt off the train of my dress, picking the perfect location for our 1st look and Sam chasing down a glass of water for me while I was waiting with my Dad before I walked down the aisle. The wedding photos were just perfect so perfect that we do not know where to start on picking out photos for our album. You get to relive so many moments in your wedding photos in both color and black & white. Eau Claire really is the best and I can’t wait to work with them again in the future. I really hit it off with Sandra from the start, and her husband and business partner, Sam, both made our engagement photos and wedding so special. She has great insight, advice, and really cares about capturing your special day (and engagement portraits too in our case). Sandra and Sam catch the little moments- and those are things I want to remember. The photos they caught of our ceremony and reception are phenomenal and honestly, we are having the hardest time picking photos for our album because there are just too many examples of fantastic work to choose from. We LOVED our photos, our friends and family LOVED our photos, even complete strangers commented upon seeing them when I tagged some friends on Facebook. My father commented two days ago that he never expected for us to get as many wonderful, beautiful pictures as we did. Multiple family members are considering using digital frames in our houses because we love how the photos came out. Sandra gives you all photos in color and black and white which is really great. I had Sam Hanna (Sandra's husband) that covered our wedding back in March. Sam and his assistant photographer were incredibly helpful and professional. He told me he would be at my hotel room for 4:00 and he showed up 10 min early. Their vision and artistic ability are like no other. They covered our entire day from 4:00pm-11:30pm when the reception was over, and provided us with nearly 1000 pictures! Sam also requested to meet with me about 2 weeks before the wedding to discuss any details or specific shots that we wanted, which ended up being a great idea becuse we got everything we wanted. I would recommend Eau Claire to anyone, any where! Worth every penny!

I loved working with Sam for my wedding. He was there when I needed him, got great shots, yet I didn't notice him too much the day of the wedding. He took charge, gave us directions, but stayed in the background. He also listened to my fiancé and I and didn't push us to do anything we are uncomfortable with. Our photos turned out beautifully and I couldn't have asked for anything better! He exceed our expectations and was within out budget.

Sandra is talented, creative, fun loving, patient and an amazing photographer. She photographed our wedding on 1/16/15 at Southern Oaks and also shot my bridal portraits. Yay! you're engaged. Months later you can become overwhelmed beginning the (sometimes) arduous task of planning a wedding. So many vendors, so many choices! You walk around the Bridal Expos and each is vying for your attention and business. I have to say, that I came across some photographers that were so into themselves, I wasn't sure how my husband & I and our wedding would fit in. I came across Sandra at a bridal expo... how refreshing!! Very calm demeanor, soft spoken and had a plan of what we could do and how we would do it. Was intrested to hear my needs and vision. Our wedding was November 2013, We ended up doing the package that included engagement photos- I felt that was even better for my husband and I to get to know Sandra and for her to get to know us! They came out amazing and she was patient with our creative ideas. I used the engagement photos on our save the date and in our sign in book, etc. I also opted to added the bridal session about a month before the wedding and she had great suggestions on the venue (Longvue) The bridal session was a great run through for me and the photos and scenery were breathtaking. Sandra captured images from our engagement session, bridal session and wedding that I will cherish forever! I have also recommended her to a friend, who is using her in January 2015. The great thing about Sandra, too, is that she has a design background. Therefore, her layout for her bridal photo books are always classy. I highly recommend Eau Claire.
