Sandra was so easygoing throughout the entire day and seemed to always be in the perfect place and the perfect time. After the wedding, our guests asked if we had a photographer stay until the end because they didn't notice her. She was great at being stealthy and going unnoticed, but always being in the middle of it all. Then we got out pictures back...they were even more amazing than we could've ever hoped for!! The photographs literally took my breath away. Sandra did an incredible job of incorporating the specific character of New Orleans that we love so much! Each time I look through our pictures I feel like I get to relive our wedding all over again. There wasn't a moment that was missed. We are forever grateful for the gorgeous job that Eau Claire Photographics did for us and the breathtaking photos that will last us a lifetime.

She responded that she only cares about her clients and not winning awards. She also said she wanted her clients to have a calm wedding day and not have it be just about taking photos. I was right, on our wedding day Sandra knew the best photo spots near our venue, and helped arrange our schedule for what would work the best in our timeline. Most importantly she kept me calm. When I first saw our photos I cried. When I looked at them for a second time I cried again. She captured everything about out wedding day. Just everything. You might have never heard of Eau Claire Photographics, but you might also have trouble booking them because they book up so quickly. They are the best.

thers. So, obviously we placed a great deal of importance on who we chose to capture such a special day. From the start, Sandra was so helpful and just great to work with. She helped talk through wardrobe color options for our engagement session (which I ended up getting tons of compliments on) and really made that whole experience one of the most fun "wedding activities" that we did. But where she and her husband, Sam, really went way above and beyond was for our ceremony. They had so many suggestions and ideas for lighting and bridal party placement- ideas that were different from the traditional way our venue was used (and being a nighttime wedding, lighting was going to be a big issue no matter what). The lighting for our ceremony was so different (much more romantic) than what I had seen other brides do at this venue- and it was so beautiful! Sam got to the site early to help instruct our lighting vendor and make sure everything was set just right. They made me feel so calm and confident about the space that had previously given me so much stress. And then, of course, there are the actual photos. They turned out so great. Eau Claire's style of photography really captures the little moments that make something like your wedding day so special. Looking back at the pictures puts us right there, back in that moment. Sandra and Sam are everything you could hope for in a photographer!

Their documentary style perfectly captures the mood of the night without that feeling of "pushy photographer in guests' faces forcing smiley moments" and the posed formals were easy breezy - they just nailed it. Unobtrusive, friendly, gently elegant retouching, and speedy turnaround. They photograph with great skill, but also great kindness. Wonderful experience.

I had two photographers and I said nope, just one. He could not believe all of the different angles she was able to catch. I live out of town and visited with her a few months before the wedding. She was very accommodating and communicated with me so well through the entire planning process, which is something i sometimes found hard with other venders being I was not there locally. I would highly recommend Eau Claire Photographics! Sandra is the best!

We opted out of a videographer because we felt that we might watch it just a few times, but pictures will last forever, and with their documentation style, it almost feels like a video. I found out about Eau Claire at a bridal show in Jan. 2014 and instantly feel in love with their style esp since it seemed like they caught actual moments from the day that were not staged. My mother and I met with Sandra 1st and I knew she was the perfect photographer for me but I needed my fiancé’s approval since he was the one that was not a fan of having his picture taken. Sandra met with the 2 of us and as soon as we got in the car after we left Sandra my fiancé told me to book her! We had the joy of working with Sandra before the big day during our engagement session and we had a blast. The engagement pictures were perfect and she caught both our personalities and our 2 shih tzus which were a handful that day. On our wedding day Sandra and Sam went above and beyond their “job”, from Sandra secretly helping a bridesmaid get some dirt off the train of my dress, picking the perfect location for our 1st look and Sam chasing down a glass of water for me while I was waiting with my Dad before I walked down the aisle. The wedding photos were just perfect so perfect that we do not know where to start on picking out photos for our album. You get to relive so many moments in your wedding photos in both color and black & white. Eau Claire really is the best and I can’t wait to work with them again in the future. e. Sam photographed our rehearsal dinner the night before and it was great having the consistency- I can't wait to see the images! Day of, Sandra and Sam were on time and very professional- Sam went right to photograph the guys and Sandra hung out with the girls. Sandra picked the most beautiful location for our first look and put everything together seamlessly. I never stressed photography because Sandra had everything so perfectly planned. Sandra and Sam know what they are doing and are awesome at what they do! I highly recommend them and will definitely use them for an anniversary shoot in the future!

The photos they caught of our ceremony and reception are phenomenal and honestly, we are having the hardest time picking photos for our album because there are just too many examples of fantastic work to choose from. We LOVED our photos, our friends and family LOVED our photos, even complete strangers commented upon seeing them when I tagged some friends on Facebook. My father commented two days ago that he never expected for us to get as many wonderful, beautiful pictures as we did. Multiple family members are considering using digital frames in our houses because we love how the photos came out. Sandra gives you all photos in color and black and white which is really great. I have to say, that I came across some photographers that were so into themselves, I wasn't sure how my husband & I and our wedding would fit in. I came across Sandra at a bridal expo... how refreshing!! Very calm demeanor, soft spoken and had a plan of what we could do and how we would do it. Was intrested to hear my needs and vision. Our wedding was November 2013, We ended up doing the package that included engagement photos- I felt that was even better for my husband and I to get to know Sandra and for her to get to know us! They came out amazing and she was patient with our creative ideas. I used the engagement photos on our save the date and in our sign in book, etc. I also opted to added the bridal session about a month before the wedding and she had great suggestions on the venue (Longvue) The bridal session was a great run through for me and the photos and scenery were breathtaking. Sandra captured images from our engagement session, bridal session and wedding that I will cherish forever! I have also recommended her to a friend, who is using her in January 2015. The great thing about Sandra, too, is that she has a design background. Therefore, her layout for her bridal photo books are always classy. I highly recommend Eau Claire.

Sandra and Sam even shot another engagement session very close to our wedding date to help us make up for our first bad experience with the other photographer. Our time working with them during our engagement session was fantastic! They helped us feel completely at ease and we had a great time. Plus the pictures turned out amazing and we got tons of compliments on them and used them in our guest book. The wedding day went off without a hitch and I am so so thankful to have such beautiful photos to remember the whole day! My dad still hasn't stopped commenting about the fantastic quality of our photos and how nice it was to work with Sandra every time we show family and friends.

She gave a great suggestion for different posed pictures with families and asked if there are any other specifics we want. She also asked if we wanted the second photographer to focus on posed pictures or action shots for the reception. This shows that their style is very versatile based on what the clients want. Sandra is very relaxed and calm....which was helpful as I started feeling nervous as time got closer to the ceremony. My husband was very comfortable with Sam as well. There weren't any fake action shots, which my husband liked. He always feels uncomfortable when other photographers tell him to laugh or pretend to do something for a shot. Each photo was a genuine capture of a moment which makes it special. Like other clients mention, you don't even notice they are there. I hardly even recall seeing Sandra or Sam during the reception, yet they managed to get great shots of us on the dance floor and with family and friends. I highly recommend them for your wedding photographer and I can't wait to continue to work with them for our wedding album!

As our wedding day got closer, Sandra was very prepared, asking me for a list of pictures and meeting with me to discuss the timeline of the day and any special requests for pictures. Our wedding day timeline was a bit hectic, but Sandra was a very calming presence. She was calm and collected all day and very efficient. I think she even helped make me worry less about things being late and spend more time enjoying the day. She got all the pictures we wanted in such a little amount of time. My family got to know her throughout the day and all commented on how sweet and professional she was. She has a great turn around for the final pictures. The end product was a great balance between the normal posed pictures you want for such a special event as well as a number of beautiful candid shots. I do not know how I am going to select only a very limited number for our album!

took me months of research and leg work to find every single one of my vendors. Eau Claire Photographics was mentioned to me by a friend in New Orleans at the very outset of my engagement. When I visited Eau Claire's website, the quality of the photos and unique style were immediately apparent. I was impressed and I had not yet even reached out to Sandra. When I did contact Sandra, I knew immediately that she was the wedding photographer for me. She is very knowledgeable (she helped me secure my videographer as well), patient, open to ideas, and amazingly artistic. She explained her pricing to me and what different packages included and I can honestly say that compared to other photographers in the New Orleans area, she gives the most bang for your buck. The wedding album that comes with the Whole Shebang package is GORGEOUS! I can't explain in words the quality and customization of Eau Claire's wedding albums. Moreover, the day of the wedding, while my nerves were shot, Sandra reminded me to breath, she always had a smile on her face, and she got the most beautiful shots. Sandra really understood my personal vision for my wedding and she made sure to capture that vision. Sandra understands all different types of brides (classic, quirky, bohemian, etc.) and she caters to each specifically. My in-person meeting with Sandra days before my wedding (the first time we met actually), she took copious notes on what specific shots I wanted to get and how to plan out the day. She made sure that the day of the wedding would run smooth, and it did. I truly can't thank Sandra and Sam enough. I highly recommend Eau Claire Photographics.

our day your way. Our wedding was very small, just immediate family, but that meant almost 1/3 of the attendees were children. Sandra and Sam became their best friends and so the parents (and we) were grateful for making the kids feel so special getting their pictures taken. My sister/MOH even made the joke that Sandra could go into radio with her very calm, soothing voice, great for helping herd kiddos into pictures. There aren't enough great words about Sandra - she took us to a couple of great photo spots and was able to get my famously camera shy husband to actually enjoy himself during our couples photographs. All the shots were very relaxed even though she was trying different angles, posings, etc. We really enjoyed ourselves the whole time. I originally reached out to Sandra because her portfolio was so brilliant, and I am very glad I did. Our own photographs are so beautiful, I still tear up a little bit when I look at them. But with Sandra it isn't just a ,show up, and then get your photos, and everyone goes on their way. She's working with us on picking our wedding album, and not in the "here is the most expensive option" but in an honest conversation about our general budget and what layouts would work best with what shots. She is just such a pleasure to work with on all aspects of wedding photography.

All of this is great, the hours, price, helpfulness, etc except it was all just icing on the cake for me. Most of all Sandra took the most amazing photos!. She was practically unnoticeable the whole day, yet managed to wonderfully capture every detail. It was hard for me to imagine when I got my proofs that not only were there over a thousand photos, but they were ALL great!!! I cannot speak highly enough of Eau Claire Photographics, their work was beyond amazing at capturing my special day. The rain was horrible on the day of our wedding and Sandra was worried that even if we took precautions, I'd end up with muddy paw prints before the ceremony (and crying. She got to know me pretty well during the planning process!). She said that she would be happy to do a post-wedding photo shoot for us with the dogs, which we did. I had fully expected to pay for the shoot and extra time for the editing, but she did it for free and gave up her weekend to do it. Its that type of service that really blows me away. She was professional from the get go and my emails always elicited prompt and fully responsive replies. She was a great resource in terms of finding other vendors and always gave me her honest opinion, which was really appreciated it. I also really appreciated how focused she was on us/me whenever I met with her or spoke to her. I never had to remind her who I was, or when my wedding was - she always knew the details and was fully prepared. I had another vendor who always seemed confused and a step behind, so I came to really appreciate this quality about Sandra.

I am a foot taller than my partner and was really worried we'd have all these photos of my head near the top and hers near the bottom, but when I told Sandra this she really took it into consideration. The day before the wedding, we had breakfast and talked easily about a million things (mostly wedding, but we did get happily sidetracked)...and the morning of the wedding, I had no fear with regards to the photos. She even brought another photographer at no charge to us! I can't rave enough about the terrific photos she took! I want one of each!
