He is outstanding—a true artist in his craft. It’s so clear that he’s not only dedicated to his profession but also deeply loves what he does. We gave DJ Shyne what we thought was an impossible challenge: blend pop hits, Spanish tunes, emo throwbacks, Disney jams, booty-shaking hip hop, and a long list of theme songs from our favorite TV shows and movies (everything from The White Lotus to Saw). On top of that, we added a handful of random, deeply personal songs you’d never expect at a wedding. What happened? Not only did he execute this perfectly, but he became the catalyst for a wedding that felt curated exactly to US—spinning a history of us both as individuals and our journey together woven into a seamless soundtrack. His mixing was unique, unexpected, and so much fun. As the bride, there was no place I wanted to be except on that dance floor. Our guests went wild. Compliments poured in all night and days after. We got so many texts like, “BROOO your DJ?! 🔥🔥🔥” that we started to lose count. But it wasn’t just about the music. From the very first Zoom, DJ Shyne radiated charisma and professionalism. He carried that positive energy into every planning meeting and right through the reception—he even gave our speakers personal pep talks before their toasts! And when it came to group dances, he did something I’ve never seen: he stepped onto the dance floor, mic in hand, and taught the moves live. Towards the end of the Cha Cha Slide, he started teaching the crowd the moves to the Cupid Shuffle so by the time it started they were already doing it!!! No confusion, no awkward guessing, just pure joy and inclusion. He quickly became the vendor we looked forward to meeting with most. We ended each Zoom call feeling assured, uplifted, and excited about the possibilities. Out of everyone we worked with, he was the best. It does not get better than DJ Shyne. He isn’t just the DJ your wedding needs, he’s the DJ your wedding deserves.

DJ they’ve EVER heard at a wedding! He got to know us as a couple as well as the vibe of our wedding by jumping on two Zoom calls during the planning process. Every month we were in communication via email which really made us feel seen and excited for our special day. Our dance party was epic and we had everyone on their feet dancing, from teenagers to guests in their 70s. We hope to go to another wedding with DJ Shyne DJ-ing soon because we can't wait to tear it up on the dance floor again.

He was present while we were both getting ready and was so funny and kind it helped put us at ease. When it was showtime he made sure the party started, getting to know a few people by name, running down from the balcony onto the dancefloor and overall he was a great vibe and made the night feel like a real party. We were nervous about finding a DJ that wouldn't just fade into the background but DJ Manolo brought the party with him. Dance floor was full all night long.

Working with him to prepare for the wedding was also easy and straightforward--ECF's planning tools are comprehensive and user-friendly--but the day of the wedding was astounding. Mike Stripez played all the songs we asked for, naturally, and got my aunts, uncles, and baby cousins dancing, but one of the most memorable moments was something I DIDN'T ask for. He heard my bridesmaids singing "For Good" from Wicked early in the evening and played "Defying Gravity" from the same musical later. Holding hands and howling this song with women from every stage in my life is a memory I will treasure. And even I--a total dork--never would have thought to ask for this! But Mike Stripez KNEW! What a magical guy.

Benny always honored our final decisions while also making expert suggestions. Specifically, although we initially had different plans for our cocktail hour music, Benny suggested a classic rock cocktail hour playlist that is incredible. My wife and I still listen to it to this day! Moreover, Benny created an incredible Bridgerton acoustic playlist that set the exact vibe we wanted for dinner, followed by a seamless transition into a rocking 2 hours of amazing dance and nostalgic songs. Despite experiencing an unexpected thunderstorm and showers that forced Benny to relocate all of his equipment in a matter of minutes, Benny's calm and swift actions allowed for our wedding to go on seamlessly. Since our wedding day, I have had a friend cancel his scheduled DJ for his wedding, and instead decide to go with Benny because he and his fiance enjoyed him so much at our wedding. I am forever grateful to Benny for creating such a memorable experience for my family, friends, my wife and I. DJ Benny Goodman is truly the best in the business!

ECF, they have an online portal that you (as the couple) work on leading up to your wedding. This includes music preferences as well. Jeff helped guide us in terms of genres of music for cocktail and dinner hours. We felt very confident in Jeff, we felt like we could trust him with our lives. We did opt for the uplighting package which was totally worth it! Jeff and the uplighting technician, Unisa were PHENOMENAL. They kept the music going, and we had a completely packed dance floor the entire night!! Wedding guests complimented that it was one of the most fun weddings they had been to. Both Jeff and Unisa were extremely professional. The MC work throughout the day was spot on. The party would not have been the same without them!

DJ Benny shouted us out all night in the most enthusiastic tone and really made us feel on top of the world! Communication was great - we had someone respond to us usually within 24hrs if not faster every time we reached out with a question. The planning process was super easy - the portal makes it easy to be organized and include any songs that are must plays/do not play. DJ J-Boogz/Josh was awesome - we had a couple of remix requests for our entrance song and parent intros and he killed them! Our dance floor opened early because our guests just wanted to party all night - so many of our guests came up to us raving about the DJ/music. We wish we had more time on the dance floor! If you're looking for a party, ECF is the right choice! We also got the photo booth through ECF which our guests LOVED! The attendant brought all of the props, printed 2 copies of each photo and guests could input their phone numbers to get the pics texted to them. We also got a link to download all of the photos within a week of wedding.

When the last song played everyone was begging for one more. The dance party was 10/10. We spent the entire reception on the dance floor or rushing back to it for a great song he played. o ensuring that our guests and ourselves had the time of our life we knew we needed to find the best of the best, and boy did we. Jeff, better known as Dj Shyne, was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator (he was her wedding DJ years ago) and she had nothing but good things to say about him. So we reached out to E.C.F. and set up a meeting with Jeff. After meeting with him both my fiancé and I knew he was the one. From the planning, to the communication, to E.C.F's fantastic client portal where we were able to upload our music choices and other important event details, to our final video chat where Jeff told us our playlists were fire and ironed out the flow of the evening, from start to finish Jeff made our night absolutely perfect. I've lost track of how many people have mentioned to us how amazing the Dj and music was. "Wedding of the year" "Best wedding ever" "Dj was fire" "Dj kept the dance floor packed all night." Dj Shyne's flow of the evening was outstanding and he truly got everyone out of their seats and on to the dance floor. We can't thank Jeff enough for all that he did to make our wedding night the one we dreamed of. Thanks again Jeff!

E.C.F. has an awesome wedding planner tool that helps plan songs for each and every aspect of the wedding. You can put notes, things to avoid and a timeline making it seamless throughout the night. DJ Manolo was prompt, stuck to all the things we discussed before the wedding and helped me pull off a huge surprise for my husband during the ceremony. Having someone like that on your wedding day is crucial. He's more than a DJ, he's a true pal. Hire him. We are so SO glad we did. He absolutely made our wedding a night to remember!

were genuinely excited to see on our special day first and foremost.. Who also happens to be a FANTASTIC DJ. Pre process: Before meeting Josh, the DJ and music choices were something my wife and I were pretty stressed about. The entertainment is such a crucial part of the wedding day and we wanted the music to be good and enjoyable for all, but were struggling to put our own voice and personality into it. Josh took a very measured approach of asking about our tastes, gathering information, providing insights and laughing with us through the process. He was a partner through our pre-wedding process, not someone who was just there that day. We walked away from each meeting with him with a better sense of direction of how we wanted our wedding to be and getting more and more excited for the big day. Wedding Day: Our wedding was in NJ which was fairly far for Josh, in a venue he had not performed at before. Bright and early he was there with the wedding coordinator, testing sound and setting up the lights and speakers. Not only was it calming on our very hectic day to see him so punctual and comfortable in the new space, but his genuine smile, handshake and hug amping me up that morning was very impactful. From an execution standpoint, Josh was flawless. He took a measured approach to learning the pronunciation of everyone’s names and didn’t miss a beat. While we were hopping from table to table the music hit a good balance of volume and bass, there was no situation where one table was getting blasted, and the others felt removed from the event. Another instance where I felt a true partnership with him. My family has a tradition of a culture dance that we do each wedding, that can tend to drag on. In our initial meetings, I wasn’t sure if I even wanted to include it. He gave some great advice (while not pressuring in any direction, and truly being supportive) that those memories and dances tend to last, and that he will keep his eyes on me and if at any point I signal that the song has gone on long enough, he will transition. His advice was spot on, as that family dance was a great memory for my wife and I, and when I looked to him to transition the song, his eyes were locked on me ready to go, and he smoothly brought everyone on to the dance floor. This is just one anecdote of many instances where Josh’s approach to DJing came through. He gathered information -> gave advice and shared past experience -> supported the decisions we made after that -> executed a great party that let us relax and kept the dance floor full and partying the entire night (I mean, REALLY full.. there wasn’t a college friend or Grandma sitting!). Our friends and family continue to tell us how much fun they had at our wedding and how much they loved the music. I recommend Josh & ECF Entertainment to anyone that asks!
