At Echo Media Photography we (Cathy+Amy) are a mother/daughter team of photographers that are dedicated to capturing your most precious memories in an authentic and organic way. We believe in using a blend of documentary and fine art styles of photography giving you beautiful and real moments to treasure for life. We love all things light and airy, laughing smiles, family traditions, sharing the day with your pets (from dogs to calves, we've seen it all), but most of all we love an intimate day where you can feel the joy of family and friends celebrating. Working out of California's Central Valley allows us to be able to photograph all over California as well as destination weddings (we absolutely love elopements near and far). stress and fun of a wedding. We were so incredibly pleased with the finished photos! Now the hard part is picking a few that we want to hang on the walls... THERE ARE SO MANY GREAT OPTIONS! Our wedding would not have been the same without Echo media. They are quick and to the point, yet get the most spectacular photos and moments. We met briefly a few days before the wedding to go over the schedule, family dynamics (my parents are divorced and not really happy to be around each other), etc. They were so sweet and listened to everything I said. The day of, they arrived and jumped right in capturing the wedding day buzz.
We also opted for video recording, and I am so happy we did!!! I only watch the video on our anniversary and it is such a delight to relive the day. Their photos captured to joy, the anticipation, the laughter, the tears, they whole range of everything that goes on on your wedding day. They were not in your face, and even helped out when they saw I needed a hand here and there. Such lovely ladies!
We kept in touch, and after the wedding we were fortunate enough to take maternity shots with them, then baby shots, and last year we did a whole extended family photo shoot for my mom as a birthday present.
They always send all the pictures, which I really like because each one becomes precious.

I also really enjoyed the engagement shoot we did with Echo Media. I wanted an outdoor setting but didn't have anywhere in particular in mind. They were quick to recommend a beautiful public greenspace filled with giant California oak trees - it was perfect!

Throughout the night, they suggested poses (for formals outside after the ceremony) and easily and readily accepted suggestions for picutres throughtout the entire night. types of photos that we wanted to have taken and also had wonderful suggestions! They captured everything from our posed group shots, special candid moments, and all of the special details (cake, flowers, decorations...etc.)
We received our edited photos on CDs much sooner than expected! And we own all of our pictures! While they gave us suggestions of where we can go to order professional quality prints, it is a comfort to know that we can share them with our friends and family and everyone can print them however they please. MUCH nicer than the traditional route of ordering overpriced prints from the photographer themselves. So we copied the CDs for our family and wedding party, and uploaded photos to a website online and included the link in our Thank You's!
Our wedding day passed in the blink of an eye, but thanks to Amy and Cathy from Echo Media Photography we can remember it forever! :)
