Echo Ridge Cellars

Echo Ridge Cellars is a winery wedding venue located at the Firethorn Vineyard in Echo, OR. This 60-acre estate is situated on a bluff above the Umatilla River and the Alkali Canyon, providing breathtaking views of the Eastern Oregon landscape. Just3 hours from Portland and an hour from Walla Walla, the tasting room offers a lush rural environment in which to tie the knot. Owners Kim and Jay Bales bought Firethorn Vineyard in 2010 and built Echo Ridge Cellars from an old concrete storage warehouse. Renovations included converting a lap-wood grain elevator into a tasting room, which now provides an atmospheric location in which to hold wedding receptions. Replete with wood barrels, stainless steel tanks, and concrete walls and floor, this room makes for an industrial-chic dinner space. Cocktail hours and dancing can take place just outside on a large cement patio underneath the stars. For your ceremony, the venue has a beautiful cliffside spot where you and your partner can say your vows. This grassy knoll provides spectacular views of the vineyard, which is a gorgeous backdrop for all your photography needs. Echo Ridge Cellars serves their house wines to you and your guests at your reception dinner and cocktail hour. The winery’s award-winning winemaker and viticulturist Billo Naravane is the man behind these distinctive vintages. He crafts the rich and delicious Cabernet Sauvignons, Syrahs, and Merlots for which Firethorn Vineyard is known. For all your other décor, catering, and entertainment needs, outside vendors are available, allowing you to fully customize your wedding to your tastes and preferences. Parking is provided on-site, and the venue is pet-friendly, meaning your furry friends can be a part of your big day.
