If you are looking at multiple DJs / live bands and came across Rob and Gold Standard, stop what you're doing because you have already found the best choice out there. Seriously - stop now, reach out and confirm availability ASAP.
DJ Rob Benni...
on and his band, Gold Standard, were absolutely incredible at our wedding. We were looking for a versatile DJ that could cover a wide range of music genres (hip hop, rap, latin, rock, etc.) and came across Gold Standard. They offer services for DJ, live band or both! They made a really good effort to know the bride and groom and what we were looking for at our wedding, which carried over into our set list. So many people complimented us on the live band, they thought the live singer was absolutely amazing, and complimented how well Gold Standard was able to intertwine all our eccentric genres of music. Our dance floor was never empty and guests said they've never danced more at a wedding before. It was a breeze working with Rob and we could not recommend him and his band more!!!
Side note - they played at the NBA All Star game just a week later.... speaks to their extreme talent!
If you need a DJ for your event, get Rob. He's the best in Utah. At my wedding, guests of all ages raved about how amazing our DJ was.

and well-paced setlist. The transitions between tracks were seamless, creating a continuous flow that kept the energy levels high.
One of the standout aspects of DJ Chu's performance was his engaging stage presence. He interacted effortlessly with the crowd, encouraging participation and created a strong connection between himself and the audience.
His enthusiasm was contagious, and he effectively hyped up the crowd at key moments, contributing to the overall atmosphere of excitement and added a personal touch to the performance. We even had a family member ask us how we knew our DJ as they thought he was a family friend, he felt like an invited guest.
He delivered a captivating performance that left a lasting impact on the audience. His musical prowess, crowd interaction, and ability to create an engaging atmosphere were commendable. We would highly recommend DJ Chu for any event and hope to work with him again in the future.
DJ Chu was the dj last summer at our sons wedding in Salt Lake. He was amazing! Our planner recommended him and she was right about everyone loving him. He kept all of our friends and family on the dance floor all night.
