They were friendly, professional, and AMAZING from start to finish. Communication was quick and easy every time, making logistics and details easy to coordinate. They were prompt and efficient the day of our wedding, keeping things stress-free and on schedule. Prices are fair, and their work is FLAWLESS. My bridal party loved their makeup, received lots of compliments from guests, and looked beautiful in photos!

Elaine made me look beautiful, she did my makeup and hair for my wedding. My now husband complimented my makeup which he never does and said that he liked how I still looked like myself and I was stunning. Elaine also did my Mother-in-Law's makeup, my mother in law is already a beautiful lady but Elaine just gave her the extra something that gave her a special wedding glow. Bowie did a fabulous job with the bridesmaids and my mom she did age appropriate make up for my niece (age 12), to my bridesmaids (early thirties)...to my mom (age top secret). :) Thank you...thank you...thank you to Elaine and Bowie for making us a radiant bridal party. Elaine and her team were great to work with. Elaine did a terrific job on my makeup both during the trial (which I scheduled for the same day as my engagement photo shoot) and the wedding itself. She and her team were very professional, nice and clearly know what they are doing. My hair and makeup lasted through the entire afternoon and evening; plus Elaine provided a touch-up kit and accessories (deposit required). Elaine was overall quite responsive and prompt. I am glad I went with her after much research on other makeup artists. She was also one of the more reasonably priced artists in the L.A. area. In addition, I thought the bridesmaids and mothers all looked fabulous too!

I recently got married and Elaine Chou did my hair and make-up. I got so many compliments on how beautiful I looked and how great my hair and make-up was. I had an idea of what I wanted my hair to look like and went to Elaine for a trial so that she can copy the photos I provided her. She copied the photo and on the day of the wedding I requested to make a few small changes and it turned out perfectly on my wedding day. I wasn't sure how I should do my make up so Elaine pretty much had free reign and it turned out beautifully as well. Elaine's assistants worked on my bridesmaids and my Mom and my husband-to be's Mom. They did a great job as well, but it was clear that Elaine was the best of the group. I highly suggest having an idea of what you want for both hair and make up and doing a trial run to see how it looks on you because it may be necessary to make small tweaks to make it work for you. Overall - I would recommend Elaine. She did a great job and the packages she offered were very reasonable.

Elaine Chou and her second artist, Nicole, really did a great job with my bridal hair and makeup, my Maid of Honor’s hair and makeup, and the moms’ makeup. On the morning of the wedding, everything was completed within two hours. Each of our preferences was taken into account, with my MOH choosing the longer hairdo over the up-do and my mother asking for very light makeup. My mother-in-law’s eye makeup was a little heavy for her liking, but after she removed the false eyelashes (which she had never worn before) she looked great and was pleased. Elaine asked me if I wanted my beauty marks covered, and I asked her to just lighten them but not cover them up all the way. She took care of that, and even concealed a scar that I have on my back pretty well. Each of our looks complimented our dresses perfectly. The makeup stayed in place all day, with only touchups under my eyes and a little powder needed. I used the touch-up kit that Elaine had loaned me for a deposit of $50, which I mailed back to her the Monday after the wedding. I’m very pleased with EChou Makeup’s services!

Elaine was great. She made helpful comments and gave me a few tips during our hair trial as to coloring my hair and jewelry that would best compliment me. She and her assistants were on time, efficient, and really good. She did my hair and makeup, and I got compliments all day on a job well done.

Elaine, is so professional. I booked her without meeting her based on her reviews and she did not disappoint. Her assistant and Elaine arrived on time if not earlier, so super sweet and nice. She even did a TINY touch up on the groom without making fun of him because the bridesmaid were. I loved how my makeup/hair and my bridal party looked. Totally pick her, you won't regret it.

We were pleased have Elaine as the make up artist and husband did our beautiful gobo lights also chiavalry chairs.Back couple years ago Elaine was the make up artist for my brother's wedding too. So we did have a good relationship with her and i highly recommend Elaine and husband Terry if you guys need lightings,gobo lights and beautiful chairs rental.

Elaine and her team were great. Professional, reasonably priced and they did a fantastic job on the makeup and hair for my wedding and for my bridesmaids. Everybody looked lovely. We were way ahead of schedule. Make hair and make-up stayed put the entire night and so did my bridesmaids. Highly recommend her!

I've recommended at least 6 brides to Elaine in the past. I just love her work and her price is pretty competitive. She charge $120/wkday and $160/wkend for hair and makeup trial. I contacted Elaine right after my fiance and I set the wedding date and luckily she was available that day. I don't personally wear makeup all that much, I just don't have time so I did not know what to expect when I did my trial with Elaine. But I love the way my trial went and right after that, I booked her for my wedding day. On wedding day: Elaine came on time in the morning and got started on my makeup which had taken a bit longer than expected. But my makeup and hair turned out great and natural, I love it so much! I had booked Elaine for practically the whole day and she was so great and accommodating to my requests. Elaine and her team made myself and my bridesmaids all look so beautiful! They were able to get each of us done in about 1.5 hours (hair & makeup). She does an excellent job blending the makeup so it matches your skin perfectly. She also does a great job covering up dark spots or any imperfections you might have. She also makes your eyes look gorgeous! Our makeup stayed on all day and well into the night!
