DJ Ed Geer came recommended by our venue, and he was one of the first vendors we hired when we began planning our Big Island wedding. From the moment we started working with Ed, up until our wedding reception in April 2025, he was nothing short of consistent, professional, and a joy to communicate with. It's immediately clear that Ed has years of experience in the industry, having worked at countless weddings — he truly knows his craft.
Ed was the heartbeat of our wedding reception. His passion for what he does is undeniable, and it shows in every interaction. He’s a true professional who wants nothing but perfection for your special day. Throughout the planning process, he was quick to respond to every email and phone call, and each conversation felt more like chatting with a close friend than a vendor.
In the months leading up to our wedding, we had several calls where Ed took the time to really get to know us — our love story, backgrounds, the vibe we wanted to create at our reception, and of course, our musical tastes. He even recommended adding special songs to specific moments in our timeline, and let me tell you, it made a huge impact! Some of our calls lasted almost two hours, which just goes to show how invested he is in making your day exactly what you envision. And, as a lovely surprise, Ed threw in extra lighting at no charge because he’s that passionate about creating the perfect atmosphere for you.

We are so grateful we had Ed as our DJ for our wedding! From the very beginning, he was friendly, professional, and easy to work with. On the big day, he brought such an amazing energy and kept the flow of the evening running perfectly. He read the crowd so well, kept the dance floor packed all night, and also took care of all our lighting and set up the dance floor! The night wouldn’t have been the same without it all!
Not only is he incredibly talented, but he’s also so kind and generous. He truly went above and beyond for us, and we’ll always remember how special he made our celebration feel. Ed is a consummate professional! Over the last 20+ years he has done the lighting and sound for several events at my home,all about 250 people! Receptions for two of my kids, couple milestone birthday bashes and most recently my wedding. His skills as DJ and MC are outstanding and he is adaptable as a party timing morphs to keep the good times going. He is my first call!

Ed Geer is a stellar DJ and consummate professional who made our wedding extremely enjoyable. If this aspect of your special day is important to you, I highly recommend seeking out his services sooner rather than later. My husband in particular was worried about music and wanted very specific songs played, but from the first planning call with Ed I knew he was going to execute our vision perfectly. He told us all we had to do was show up and have fun, and he was right! Thank you so much Ed!

Ed helped us with our May wedding in so many ways! I havent organized a wedding previously and Ed helped me out with keeping the flow of the event and ceremony and had great ideas for both timing of the different parts of the wedding and the music, of course.
The whole evening went so well. I felt like it was perfect and once it got started I didnt have to worry about anything (except to "go over here for pictures", then "go over there for pictures" haha).
With Ed you will get his personal time and experience, his dedication to detail and flexibility AND a wonderful Aloha spirit. We appreciate all the work he put into getting our day right and making it fun and happy.

We cannot say enough about how wonderful Ed was! From our first conversation to our wedding day, he was kind, accommodating and personable. He took care of planning our reception schedule which so helpful and took so much stress off of us. He was so kind and easy going, he made our guests feel so comfortable and excited to be there. The dance floor was never empty! He mixed everything live! I’ve been to so many weddings and Ed was hands down the best DJ I’ve ever experienced! If we could get married again we would book him 10 times over!

SO GLAD we hired Ed! We had a very small wedding and I was worried it would be too small to hire a DJ, but Ed got everyone up and dancing, and the dance floor was one of the best parts of the wedding. He made our small wedding feel like a huge party. 100% Recommend.

Ed was so friendly and professional throughout the entire process of hiring him and planning our wedding. He always responded to me right away and took every request I made of him to heart, as well as suggesting things that might make my special day go smoother. I have very specific music tastes and Ed made sure to incorporate all songs I requested of him at the exact perfect times during the reception. His timing was impeccable and the songs he chose fit perfectly with our style of music because he really took the time to listen to us. He did a fantastic job of keeping things flowing so there was not a single dull moment at my wedding. And when the dancing started everybody was on the dance floor having a blast until the very last song. I’m so glad I chose Ed for my wedding. It is evident he loves what he does and enjoys helping people have the best day of their lives! I would absolutely recommend Ed to anyone!

DJ Ed Geer came highly recommended to us by our wedding coordinator and what a GREAT recommendation it was. Once Ed was confirmed, he immediately reached out and started to coordinate with us for our wedding. He spent time on the phone getting to know us and what we expected from him during our special day. At no point did he try to hijack our music choices, but instead made it all about us and what made us happy. He took the time to establish a timeline for the entire wedding event and what music would be played accordingly. Also, he ensured that he had the correct pronunciations for all names. He requested we compile a list of music to be played during our cocktail hour/reception. Once we provided him with the music, he painted a picture with music as he would say.
DJ Ed Geer took the time to meet us for our rehearsal and go over the wedding day details. On our wedding day, he maintained a constant coordination with our coordinator to ensure that we stuck to our timeline. He did a great job making sure our guests stayed engaged throughout the wedding with our selection of music. Overall, DJ Ed was amazing, and we are so happy he was able to DJ our wedding. Ed is incredibly experienced, a true professional, and all-around a great person to meet and talk to. We got to know Ed through our wedding at the Waikoloa Village and we would give our highest recommendation. Ed was always willing to meet with us or chat over the phone if we needed anything. Our guests loved having him as the MC and DJ for our reception and we could not have imagined a better choice for our event.

Ed is a very experienced DJ who can either follow the playlist you provide or if you give him just some genres, can read the room and play hits that everyone will love. He helped us with our wedding and we couldn't have been happier! He MC'd the whole night and did a fantastic job with the music and running the show for the night. On top of all that he handled our lighting as well which made the whole night magical. The uplighting on palm trees and market light strings creating a canopy overhead really set the scene for an amazing sunset wedding and reception! Definitely a must book if you are thinking about using a DJ for your event.

Ed was exactly what we wanted in a DJ for our wedding! Planning a destination wedding had it's tough moments, but Ed was not one of them. He was very thorough details and made sure he followed exactly what we wanted from announcements to song choices. I really wanted a "party" during the reception and Ed made sure of that with the song choices and keeping the dance floor alive. Ed was such an amazing DJ and emcee for our wedding! We communicated via email and phone and he always responded promptly. I gave him a few song suggestions for our reception and he nailed it. The music was PERFECT! He was also very helpful with the wedding timeline and flow. You will not regret hiring Ed for your wedding or event.

Ed was the perfect match to our boutique style wedding. We were looking for professional quality and demeanor. Ed is beyond professional and able to blend quality with the comfort you expect while enjoying Hawaii. Our family was more than happy with the song choices and we were extremely pleased with how he had the whole night planned out. Our wedding day was stressful, but Ed sat us down the day before and reviewed everything, putting us at peace, knowing he had it covered. If you are looking for the BEST on the Big Island you have found it. We are very secluded and he was able to keep our privacy which was and is a BIG concern for most of the guests. Thank you very much Ed, and we hope you are available the next time we are on the Big Island!

Had our wedding in October...Ed did an excellent job with DJ entertainment for our reception. He was very attentive with prep phone calls in advance of our wedding to go over details and to go over what type of "music vibe" we were going for. We were able to send him a list of preferred songs which he did a great job with mixing throughout the night along with keeping our guests entertained. He even surprised us when some guests wanted to dance to Mexican music and low and behold Ed came through since he already had the right jams in his arsenal. Ed made our wedding memorable and one our guests will not forget- there was even a dance battle! From our experience, you can't go wrong with Ed!

We decided to get married in Kona because my husband was born and raised there. Although It was somewhat stressful finding a wedding planner and vendors we were comfortable with, as soon as we spoke with Ed Geer from the Force Enterprises Mobile DJ we knew he was the right guy for the Job. Ed was very accommodating to our constantly changing requests, responded quickly to our inquiries, and provided us with some great recommendations throughout the process. The day of the wedding he showed up on time, set everything up promptly and was everything we could have hoped for in an emcee/DJ. The dance floor was packed the whole night, and everyone, including Ed seemed to be enjoying themselves. I highly recommend Ed for any event you may need an emcee/DJ for, he won't disappoint.

Ed was an amazing DJ/MC for our wedding reception, where he helped everything run smoothley, getting to all of our events and playing great music. He was also a great help during our planning period, always available to answer our questions, offer his help, and helped us smooth our our reception schedule. Ed was even able to handle our last minute changes, and ran the "Shoe Game" for us.
I would highly recommend Ed for whatever event you are planning!

As the bride, I felt comfortable with Ed from the very beginning due to him taking the time to chat with me before-hand and making sure he captured the feeling we were hoping for - he not only fulfilled our hopes, but brought such a fun, easy going energy to our special day. Ed is truly amazing! He came to visit out wedding venue the day before and made some helpful suggestions on where to set up the dance floor and speakers - and he was so right! The day of, Ed set up all of his equipment for the ceremony only for it to start raining! He was so accommodating to the quick change of plans. Ed had to RE-set up all of his equipment out of the rain and he did it with such ease. The ceremony continued and the music played just as planned making those moments so special. Ed was able to allow everything to roll so smoothly from the ceremony music to cocktail hour, dinner, cake cutting, first dances, and then partying the night away! We couldn't have done it without him. I would recommend Ed Geer for any wedding or large event - you will not regret it!

My mom literally booked Ed for our DJ and emcee a couple days before our Wedding at Anna Ranch on 5/10/15!!!! We had an ukulelist for three hours and was going to play the boombox afterwards!! I'm soo thankful we didn't and got Ed as our DJ instead!!! He was very professional, typed out his own program and all :) His music, lighting, sounds, and everything was amazing and exceeded my expectations!!! (Mind you, I've been to plenty of parties with crappy dj's that just play chicken scratch!!! I've even booked one before :( Which is why I was very hesitant to spend a lot of money on a dj)
Ohh Boy was I wrong!!! Ed had everyone dancing!!! Even the guest who don't ever dance, we're dancing!!! It's three days past my wedding and my feet are still sore from dancing all night. Even lost my voice screaming soo much!!!

We used Ed Geer's service for our Waimea wedding at Anna's Ranch. I had some unusal requests for dinner music (old country) and Ed fulfilled my every request. Having a smaller wedding I was concerned about keeping people on the dance floor, Ed was able to read the crowd and there was never a lull on the dance floor. He was so easy and reliable to work with, highly recommend!

Ed Geer is very accommodating and reliable. We can tell that he loves his job and he is very professional and personable. Ed aims to please - and that he did. We provided him with lists of songs to play during our reception, from cocktail hour to dinner to dancing. We selected several must-play songs. We trusted Ed to sense how the guests were reacting to songs and to play songs that he felt would be hits with our guests. We felt he did an excellent job. He made the process very simple with low stress. He even recognized and went out of his way to greet our parents at the grocery store, weeks after our wedding. Very pleased with Ed Geer!
