Covid caused a lot of issues for my wedding but hair and make up was one of the few things I did not have to worry about. Eda had everything covered and reassured me every step of the way. She wore a mask the whole time and washed her hands often. Very safe to work with. Eda made me feel the most special and comfortable. Honestly you will be super happy having her apart of your day.

While the photos of her work speak for themselves, her customer service cannot go unmentioned. Of all the vendors I dealt with for my wedding, Eda was the most special. She makes a bride feel exactly as she should on her wedding day and treats you and your wedding party like she’s known you forever. I would recommend Eda to anyone and everyone. If you’re getting married on Long Island, there is truly no other choice for wedding hair & makeup! Note: If you are unsure, I highly recommend doing a trial with Eda. She will hold your date for 72 hours after the trial, but you won’t need more than 5 minutes! Once you look in the mirror, you’ll know you have to book!

I went home and immediately booked her. The week of my wedding she reached back out without me having to prompt her and gave me reminders as to what to expect the day of our wedding. The night before she sent another email just confirming how many girls she was bringing, what time they would be arriving, and what kind of chairs work best for makeup, etc. Her and her team of three artists showed up exactly on time and brought such a warmth into our home. It felt like a bunch of friends hanging out. They were efficient, explained everything they were doing to each of my bridesmaids, and fixed things that the bridesmaids asked to change. Having Eda and her team there definitely made the start of the best day of my life smooth and effortless. My hair and makeup lasted all day and all night, through wind, one of my bridesmaids falling on me on the bridal suite bed, and my horrible jumping that I called dancing. I have never, ever felt so beautiful in my life. I would recommend Eda and her services to anyone for every occasion!

d lays out every detail. I brought my mom to the trial with me since she can be pretty picky when it comes to her hair and makeup. Eda was very patient and made sure we were happy with everything each step of the way & if there was something we wanted to change she happily obliged. I had an afternoon wedding so Eda & her team were scheduled to show up bright and early at 5am. They were all so pleasant & fun to be around that I almost forgot how early it was, it felt like we were hanging out with friends. My girls & I were so happy with how our hair & makeup came out. The pictures were stunning! You cannot go wrong with Eda & her team.

I EVEN slept in my hair and make up and woke up the next morning and put back on my dress and my hubby put on his uniform (military) to see my grandmother in the hospital. EVERYTHING WAS STILL GREAT 24 HOURS LATER!! I want to say that I probably emailed almost all hair dressers on long island because my wedding was an 11am start and I didn't want to start hair and make up at 5am. I finally found Eda and she was the ONLY person on long island that would work with my timeline and her responses were SUPER FAST and so detailed. When I told EDA about wanting to start at 7am vs 5am she had a wonderful plan and brought in two extra hairstylist and two extra make up artists. So she had five people total for myself and 7 people and completed us in 2.5 hours!! She had asked ahead of time for the final headcount for services for each of my girls. One of the women had told me she didn't want any make up done, just hair. ON the morning of the wedding she changed her mind and Eda SO PROFESSIONALLY pulled me aside and said she had no problem doing it, but it would just be extra if I was okay with paying it (because I was covering my girls hair and makeup). I loved that she did this because it didn't make anyone feel bad and was SO thankful that she even took that on because it was one more than my final head count. such a pleasure to work with. ALSO I WANT TO add that she was promptly on time. Actually early so if you're worried about timing on your day, then you don't need to worry because EDA will be there with plenty of time. When she said 7am, it was start services at 7am not show up at seven. It was basically an army in my dining room, but my girls got SO many compliments on their looks. they brought everything as well. Extra light, mirrors, extension cords, makeup, wands, curlers. You name it!! What a professional team!! so THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH to you and your entire team!! you made a girl stop having wedding nightmares about having crap hair and makeup!! She is one of the most personable people I have ever worked with and made the flow of the morning so wonderful.

Initially I went to Eda for a makeup trial, and since I absolutely LOVED how it came out, I knew she would show the same expertise with any hairstyle I chose. ***Attention girls with naturally curly hair: Eda is the stylist for you!!*** My hair is very curly and at times a little unruly, and unfortunately a majority of my prior experiences with getting my hair done have left it very poofy, frizzy, and just plain awful. There are few stylists that know how to work with this type of hair, but this was NOT the case with Eda. She knew exactly what to do to make sure my curls came out perfectly and that they stayed that way through a long night of pictures and dancing. Even when I had done my first hair trial in muggy, humid August, my hair stayed perfectly in place hours after my appointment. ng my initial wedding planning, I had contacted a lengthy list of different hair & makeup vendors. Eda was one of few who promptly replied, which immediately was a good first impression of her professionalism and attention to her clients. Trust me -- there were a few makeup artists who took over a MONTH to reply and still thought I would be interested in booking them (when my wedding was just a month away)! I did not do a makeup trial (not part of my budget), but Eda gave full confidence that she could achieve the look I wanted. She surpassed my expectations and more, which was quite impressive for not having a trial. Part of my 'vision' also included having long wavy hair which would require extensions -- something I had never done before. Thanks to Eda, I purchased the needed extensions that matched my hair perfectly. She also sent care instructions to prepare the extensions for use, which is something I never would have even thought about. This is the kind of attention I refer to! On my wedding day, Eda arrived promptly at our agreed time and accomplished my hair & makeup in 90 minutes. I felt like a goddess! Everyone loved my look and I received compliments all day long, especially on the hair (even after hours out in the humidity). Seriously, if you want someone who knows what she's doing and and very personable -- go with Eda.
