One of the best decisions I made was choosing Eda and her team for hair and makeup. Eda is very kind and professional. I felt like I was working with a friend because she made me very comfortable from our first communication via email to my wedding day. I wasn’t sure what I really wanted because I am so indecisive but Eda was very patient with me and so helpful with decision making. She made me feel beautiful ! Also, my mother and grandmother (who are not easy going when it comes to glam) were EXTREMELY happy with their looks and mine! Could not recommend enough

Eda is amazing! I was on the hunt for a hair/makeup artist who would listen to my vision and make it come time life. She is so incredibly sweet and makes sure that you're happy with your look. I was recommended to her by a friend and I'm so happy I listened. Her and her team made the wedding morning so special. I loved my hair/makeup and so did my husband. My MOH and bridesmaids looked incredible as well. I can't recommend Eda enough! She will definitely be doing my hair/makeup in the future for any events I have.

Eda was the absolute best for my Wedding in October. From the trial to the big day she was an absolute sweetheart and made me feel so beautiful. She is so kind and down to earth. Her rates are affordable and she is so good with communication and getting back to you. I can’t say enough good things about her. I might even get a reshoot done to mishap during the wedding and she has been more than accommodating.

Eda is just so kind and rates are more affordable than others I looked at. I ended up doing two hair trials as I couldn’t decide between up and down styles and needed to see both – she easily was able to accommodate and fit me in to do so, even though I was traveling from Virginia and dates were limited. Not only is she super talented, but very knowledgeable about general things to consider for the day regarding the hairstyle I chose. For example, with the predicted summer weather for my wedding day, she let me know that my down style might frizz up. The day of, she was quick and efficient, but I also felt such warmth from her and that she really wanted everyone to feel beautiful. Highly, highly recommend!

Eda and her team were amazing to work with. For the trial she gave me her honest opinion and I loved the style she did for my hair! The makeup was very natural which is exactly what I was looking for. She was very professional and brought a team with her on time on the wedding day. She was able to finish everyone’s hair and makeup on time without it being super stressful. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup on the day of! I would highly recommend Eda and her team.

Eda was such a pleasure to work with on my wedding day and I’d recommend her and her team over and over again! Eda is so sweet and so personable. I was obsessed with my hair and makeup and it stayed alll day into the night!! My girls were even raving about how receptive she was when it came to what they wanted for their makeup and they were pleased with how she really took their opinions into consideration. We all loved how “natural” our makeup came out and myself and my bridal party were getting compliments all night!! I can’t recommend Eda enough!! She is such a sweetheart and I loved having her spend the morning with us.

EDA Beauty 10/10: Eda was a no brainer for me. During the makeup trial she did exactly what I wanted and made the decision easy. She is kind and personable and did exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. She also gave feedback as to what she felt would compliment me, but did consider what I wanted.

My granddaughter hired Eda for her July 1 wedding to do hair and makeup for her and bridal party including her mom and me, her 78 yr old grandmother. The 3 ladies that came were fantastic. They listened to what you wanted, made suggestions when asked and took their time and had each one of us check out each step of the way as they worked. Being 78, and set in my ways, Jo my hairstylist, was attentive to my thoughts and gentle with her suggestions. And, she was right! My hair was beautiful. Amelia did my makeup. OMG. She took my age into consideration, did not overdo, kept having me look in mirror to see what she was doing and made suggestions. I went for false eyelashes but didn’t feel comfortable with them so Amelia customized them to a length I was comfortable with. They are a fantastic trio!

Eda and her team were INCREDIBLE. Eda was communicative and responsive throughout the lead-up process, working with me to make sure I understood everything and being flexible to my timing needs. On the day of, she worked quickly and nimbly, transforming myself and my bridesmaids in only 3 hours! The makeup and hair held up all day despite heat and rain, and I felt like a princess because of her beautiful work.

Eda did my hair and makeup for my wedding and I would give her 10 stars if I could. Not only did her and her team accommodate 13 of us the morning of the wedding and got us done with plenty of time to spare, but no one's hair and makeup budged the entire day and night! When I was in planning stage of my wedding, I was so stressed about the number of people getting ready, but Eda was incredibly reassuring. We had so much fun on the wedding day and that morning is one of my favorite memories from the day. She is incredibly sweet and easy to talk to, and I absolutely loved the look that she gave me because I felt beautiful, but still like myself (I don't wear makeup ever - so this was very important to me). I highly recommend Eda!

Eda and her team were incredible to work with! Eda did my sister's hair and makeup 3 years ago and after seeing her work, I recommended her to two of my friends for their weddings, and then finally I got to use her this past weekend. Eda was so helpful with my mother, who was having a hard time figuring out what to do with her hair. My makeup was complimented all night long. Myself, my bridesmaids, my mother, and my mother-in-law all felt beautiful all night long. THANK YOU EDA!

I don't even know where to start on reviewing Eda. From my initial trial, my Mom's trial, to answering every email and text with any questions I had, to the wedding day itself, Eda is truly amazing. I felt more beautiful than I ever have before on my wedding, as did my Mom, Step-mom, MIL, and bridesmaids. It was so great that Eda's team does hair and makeup too, as there was no stress in dealing with two different teams. They were so accommodating to all of us and made us feel comfortable with the whole process. It could have been such a stressful time prepping for the day but Eda's team made it enjoyable, fun and memorable. Dealing with so many different people and personalities, Eda's confidence and constant reassurance that everything could be tweaked made it an amazing experience. If you are considering using Eda and her team for your wedding (or any event), please please please do it - you will absolutely not regret it!!

Eda was one of the best vendors I used for our wedding day! First off, she is the NICEST person and brought such a calming presence on my wedding day. Eda and her stylists were amazing for my wedding in July. She is SO kind, so professional and she makes you feel so comfortable. I can't rave about her enough! The day I got married was pretty hot and I was sweating ALL DAY but my makeup didn't budge!! From the moment I booked her I knew I would be in good hands.

Can't say enough good things about Eda. She is the sweetest person first of all, and another vendor that truly listens to what you want. She absolutely killed it with the look I was going for, hollywood waves and the whole full glam, yet I still felt 1000% myself, it wasn't overdone and she made me feel so confident and beautiful. I know anyone would be in good hands with her- she also was big on not going by a schedule but styling in order based on hair type and style and that truly made all the difference. All of my bridesmaids and moms were so happy with their hair and makeup and our hair and makeup also stayed all night! Frizz is a big issue for me so through our trials we figured out what prep was needed. She is the best!

Eda is the best!! Not only did she do an amazing job with everyone’s hair and makeup she is super friendly and responsive from the minute you reach out to her. Before the wedding she answered all of my questions quickly and was incredibly helpful. During my trial she walked me through everything she was doing to make sure I was 100% happy with the look. Eda and her team went above and beyond on my wedding day. They were super patient with everyone and made sure they knew exactly what everyone was looking for. They didn’t leave until everyone had been touched up and they were sure everyone was happy. We all received so many compliments and our makeup and hair lasted all night. Her whole team is super talented and a joy to be around. They made the morning of so special and I cannot recommend them enough!

Eda is AMAAAZING!! Not only is she soooo sweet, but she KILLS IT with hair and makeup!! I've used Eda for my engagement, engagement photos and wedding :) She blew me away every single time! I have never looked more gorgeous in my life! Eda knows how to be so versatile with so many different looks. I went full glam with Hollywood waves for my engagement shoot and a beautiful victorian side swept style and soft glam for my wedding. Throughout the process she was upbeat, fun, friendly, sweet and sooo professional! I just love her energy :). Her team did a great job for my wedding party as well and everyone raved about how beautiful we all looked! I can't wait to continue to use her for every other event :). LOVE YOU EDA!!!

Had the best time with Eda and her team! They brought such excitement to the morning! Everyone looked so beautiful, and as the bride, it was important to me that I felt comfortable. Eda is professional, kind and does great work. She worked with us when having to postpone our wedding 3x then when people dropped out of our wedding party as well. She is great with communication and is thorough in planning what is wanted. She and her team did a great job on my aunt, mom, and my own hair and makeup. Where do I begin… I inquired about Eda here on the Knot and Eda called me right away. She was so warm and eased any anxiety I had about hiring a person who does both hair and make up. Jack of all trades, honestly. So, we scheduled a trial. Eda showed up to my house with suitcases of hair and makeup products. The best of the best. She set up shop in the bathroom and got to work. Eda works magically fast, but the quality does not deter. I looked stunning for just the trial and had no hesitation about having her do me up on my wedding day. My wedding day came and Eda showed up with her team. All three women came in and eased our nerves! They were prompt and prepared. I was especially impressed with how they set up the room. They were methodical and stuck to the timeline. I am so happy with my decision to hire Eda, and you will be too. Thank you, Eda!!

Eda and her team did bridal and bridal party hair and makeup for us. Eda and her team members were amazing! They were able to capture everyone's look perfectly and exactly as we all described. Eda truly made sure that everything was perfect for each and every one of us, even circling back to make sure we were all completely satisfied. Not only are her skills unmatched, but she has the greatest attitude and spent the whole day smiling! I would recommend Eda and her team over and over again.

Eda is an absolutely incredible soul and artist! So grateful to have had her help me on my special day, she was so in tune with who I am and how I wanted to look on our wedding day. Also, her studio is absolutely stunning. Eda handled my airbrush makeup, as well as my hair. Her service is second to none, and I would definitely recommend any of Eda's services.

My wedding was last Saturday in early November and my bridal party and I are still talking about how great Eda and team or the morning of my wedding. After being a Covid bride, I had booked Eda a year plus ago and had her do my hair and make up trial for my bridal shower last September. She did such a great job with both my hair and make up that I had booked her for my wedding day! She did a beautiful job, is so friendly and professional. Her home studio is so pretty and she is so organized with contracts and payments. I would highly recommend Eda and team If you’re looking for a great make up and hair artists!

One of the biggest moments in a women’s life is her wedding am I right? We all wait for this moment and we want to look and feel gorgeous, stunning and just absolutely amazing and let me just say that is what Eda did for me! Her staff is phenomenal. Not only are they patient and skillful but they are very sweet and work well with you and do exactly what is wanted. For me as a bride I was so afraid of picking that perfect stylist to do my hair and makeup and when I chose Eda I didn’t even do a trial. So I went in blind folded and literally let her talent do the work for me. I trusted her and she didn’t let me down. Eda is a fantastic individual. Eda and her team are absolutely wonderful. They are punctual and reliable and provide exceptional hair and makeup to make you look and feel absolutely spectacular on your wedding day. Eda is an absolutely amazing hair stylist, makeup artist, and human being. She has been my go-to artist when I have been a wedding guest or a bridesmaid, so of course she was the first person I contacted after the venue was set for my own wedding. Eda and her team are punctual, professional, and most importantly, kind. They make sure everyone is relaxed and having fun. Eda always makes me look magical and naturally flawless. The hair and makeup stay in place all night. In fact, I was so tired after my wedding that I went to bed without removing the makeup. When I woke up the next morning, I could've had another wedding because I still looked phenomenal. There are not enough stars to show my appreciation for her talent. Eda was amazing! She was so understanding throughout the entire process when I had to cancel my wedding due to COVID. She always responded quickly to my emails and truly wanted the best for me. I got my hair trial done by her and it looked amazing! She was very patient with me and even started over when I changed my mind about the style. She is very professional and affordable. Eda is the best in the business. I knew from the moment I went for my trial she was the one I wanted to do my hair and makeup on my special day. Aside from being professional and friendly she listened to me and took everything I said in and worked her magic and made me feel and look so beautiful. The day of my wedding she came to my house and made the whole morning so peaceful and easy. Eda came prepared, set everything up quick and started my makeup and hair right away. I ended up changing my mind on hair and that did not throw her off at all. Eda showed me a few ideas she had in mind and did not skip a beat. Everything came out so beautiful I could not have been happier. She didn’t only do my hair and makeup so well (everyone kept complementing me the whole day!!) but she even helped me get ready, and helped my mom feel the most beautiful. My hair and makeup lasted the whole time and photographed so well. I never felt more beautiful and confident. Such a blessing having her apart of my day. Covid caused a lot of issues for my wedding but hair and make up was one of the few things I did not have to worry about. Eda had everything covered and reassured me every step of the way. She wore a mask the whole time and washed her hands often. Very safe to work with. Eda made me feel the most special and comfortable. Honestly you will be super happy having her apart of your day.

With all of the wonderful things I have to say about Eda, I could write an entire novel! Speaking as a COVID bride (married in the backyard in July 2020) there were many things about my wedding that didn’t end up how I imagined it. Thankfully, hair & makeup wasn’t one of those things. Eda made me feel absolutely incredible, with beautiful hair and makeup that lasted the whole night. While the photos of her work speak for themselves, her customer service cannot go unmentioned. Of all the vendors I dealt with for my wedding, Eda was the most special. She makes a bride feel exactly as she should on her wedding day and treats you and your wedding party like she’s known you forever. I would recommend Eda to anyone and everyone. If you’re getting married on Long Island, there is truly no other choice for wedding hair & makeup! Note: If you are unsure, I highly recommend doing a trial with Eda. She will hold your date for 72 hours after the trial, but you won’t need more than 5 minutes! Once you look in the mirror, you’ll know you have to book!

Eda had done both my best friends weddings so naturally when it came time for mine I couldn't wait to reach out to her to book her :)! She was thorough, detailed and professional from the getgo and truly made me feel special. Even having to plan a wedding during covid and constantly making changes she never not once gave me a hard time or an attitude. She really is sweet as pie and the kindest human I know! Eda was wonderful from the very beginning; I booked very last minute and everything still went perfectly. I even changed the style I wanted for my hair after my trial and it was still exactly how I wanted on the day of my wedding. She made me feel so at ease on my wedding day (even when it wasn’t how I pictured it at all being a covid-bride who had to postpone!). She reviews the paperwork and explains her entire process with you step by step so that there is absolutely no confusion. On my wedding day, Eda and her team arrived at the bridal suite right on schedule and created such a fun atmosphere. Gina and Joanna did an absolutely amazing job on the hair and makeup for my mother and two bridesmaids. Mine was one of the last weddings before COVID-19 shut everything down and Eda was such a calming presence during the extra chaos that was causing that morning. She went above and beyond to make sure that not just my hair and makeup, but my day, was perfect. I would absolutely recommend Eda and her team to anyone!! Trust me, you won’t regret it.

Eda was one of our favorite vendors! She was extremely responsive and flexible which we greatly appreciated. She was also soooo nice and a very calming presence to have on the morning of the wedding! Also her makeup was truly AMAZING! I have never felt more beautiful and it lasted and looked exactly the same all day-- through my crying multiple times, sweating from dancing and my husband smashing cake in my face! If you go with Eda you will definitely not be disappointed and we were so lucky to have her as a part of our wedding day!

Eda is such a pleasure to work with! I was so nervous going into my trial but she was so outgoing and sweet and made me feel like we have been friends for a long time. She really listens to what you want and promised I wouldn’t leave my trial without absolutely loving my look. She was very clear with how her process worked and proceed a folder with all the information I would need to book her and pricing. I went home and immediately booked her. The week of my wedding she reached back out without me having to prompt her and gave me reminders as to what to expect the day of our wedding. The night before she sent another email just confirming how many girls she was bringing, what time they would be arriving, and what kind of chairs work best for makeup, etc. Her and her team of three artists showed up exactly on time and brought such a warmth into our home. It felt like a bunch of friends hanging out. They were efficient, explained everything they were doing to each of my bridesmaids, and fixed things that the bridesmaids asked to change. Having Eda and her team there definitely made the start of the best day of my life smooth and effortless. My hair and makeup lasted all day and all night, through wind, one of my bridesmaids falling on me on the bridal suite bed, and my horrible jumping that I called dancing. I have never, ever felt so beautiful in my life. I would recommend Eda and her services to anyone for every occasion!

Eda was recommended to me by my sister in law and now I recommend her to everyone! Eda is probably one of the sweetest people I have ever met. We mostly communicated through email & each time she responded very quickly. She is very organized and lays out every detail. I brought my mom to the trial with me since she can be pretty picky when it comes to her hair and makeup. Eda was very patient and made sure we were happy with everything each step of the way & if there was something we wanted to change she happily obliged. I had an afternoon wedding so Eda & her team were scheduled to show up bright and early at 5am. They were all so pleasant & fun to be around that I almost forgot how early it was, it felt like we were hanging out with friends. My girls & I were so happy with how our hair & makeup came out. The pictures were stunning! You cannot go wrong with Eda & her team.

I can't say enough WONDERFUL things about EDA and her team. If you do not book her its a huge mistake!! My wedding started at 11am and our after party went well into 12am and my hair and make stayed THE ENTIRE TIME. For myself and all my girls. I EVEN slept in my hair and make up and woke up the next morning and put back on my dress and my hubby put on his uniform (military) to see my grandmother in the hospital. EVERYTHING WAS STILL GREAT 24 HOURS LATER!! I want to say that I probably emailed almost all hair dressers on long island because my wedding was an 11am start and I didn't want to start hair and make up at 5am. I finally found Eda and she was the ONLY person on long island that would work with my timeline and her responses were SUPER FAST and so detailed. When I told EDA about wanting to start at 7am vs 5am she had a wonderful plan and brought in two extra hairstylist and two extra make up artists. So she had five people total for myself and 7 people and completed us in 2.5 hours!! She had asked ahead of time for the final headcount for services for each of my girls. One of the women had told me she didn't want any make up done, just hair. ON the morning of the wedding she changed her mind and Eda SO PROFESSIONALLY pulled me aside and said she had no problem doing it, but it would just be extra if I was okay with paying it (because I was covering my girls hair and makeup). I loved that she did this because it didn't make anyone feel bad and was SO thankful that she even took that on because it was one more than my final head count. such a pleasure to work with. ALSO I WANT TO add that she was promptly on time. Actually early so if you're worried about timing on your day, then you don't need to worry because EDA will be there with plenty of time. When she said 7am, it was start services at 7am not show up at seven. It was basically an army in my dining room, but my girls got SO many compliments on their looks. they brought everything as well. Extra light, mirrors, extension cords, makeup, wands, curlers. You name it!! What a professional team!! so THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH to you and your entire team!! you made a girl stop having wedding nightmares about having crap hair and makeup!! She is one of the most personable people I have ever worked with and made the flow of the morning so wonderful.

I can't rave enough about this service! my wedding was 10/13 and Eda was the best vendor I paid for. I had my bridesmaids, my mom and I all have hair and make up services done the morning of my wedding. Eda brought with her one hair and one make up artist and they made the experience so fun and sooooo sooo smooth. They were done on time and everyone got exactly what they wanted. My bridesmaid even booked her that day for her wedding. seriously so happy I booked them!

Eda has been so easy to work with during my whole wedding planning process. She was attentive and understanding. For the day of the wedding her and her team arrived promptly when she said she was going to. I have the most pickiest friends and was worried they were not going to like who I chose for hair and makeup. Not one single of my bridesmaids complained. They all loved her and her teams work. They looked absolutely gorgeous. Hair and makeup lasted all night! My hair and makeup came out the exact way I visioned it to be even after tweaking things from my trial. Eda made me feel and look like the most beautiful bride. She is truly amazing at what she does and cares!

Eda and her staff are amazing! She picked hair and makeup artists that fit my girls to a tee. We have had some terrible experiences and were so worried about how it would turn out. The bridesmaids were thrilled. Eda was professional and was able to create a hairstyle for me after I decided I wanted a last minute change. I felt so amazing! I highly recommend. She was professional and responded to every email- no matter how Silly!

I used Eda for my hair as well as my mother’s for my 9/19/19 wedding. She was on time and ready to go. She was also not afraid to shy away from my hairstyle that I did on the trial I had prior to my wedding date. I trusted her and she was very confident in the new style I chose for day of. It turned out amazing and even better than my trial and held up all day. I was a little nervous because I told her that my hair fails to hold a curl but even through crazy dancing in my reception it held up perfectly. She is such a sweetheart and her work is amazing!! Okay I don’t even know where to start!!! The minute i started the process with Eda it was completely smooth sailing. She answers every question, emails back right away SO RESPONSIVE. Just knowing this i felt at ease. Fast forward to day of the wedding she totally exceeded even more of my expectations then i already had. Her whole team was professional and amazing at what they do. The wedding morning felt like i was hanging out with a bunch of my girlfriends. No stress just felt like a day of relaxation. Eda was truly amazing.. my hair and makeup stayed ALL NIGHT!!! When i say she slays, she slays. Do not question booking her! One of the nicest people i have ever dealt with. She has such a passion for hair and makeup its truly inspiring. Eda thank you for making me feel beautiful the day of my wedding. I truly cannot thank you enough!

Eda was fantastic! She, along with her other hairstylists and makeup artists were so sweet and truly wanted us all to love the way we looked, and we definitely did! They were so accommodating, and Eda was such a pleasure to work with throughout the process! We unfortunately had to switch up some things on her and had a lot of questions throughout, and she was always quick to respond and remained so kind throughout. She made me feel so at ease, and made me feel like a bride without going overboard on makeup, which is exactly what I wanted! She made the process easy and fun, and I cannot thank her enough!

Eda is just as sweet as she is talented and professional. Eda and her entire team made my bridal party look so beautiful! Eda and her team did an amazing job bringing out the beauty in my bridal party and myself! We had 17 girls getting ready and a limited amount of time and she was able to get us all ready with no issues within 3 hours. She worked with me to develop a timeline that worked and she exceeded all of my expectations! She was so helpful throughout the wedding planning process, responded to all of my emails/questions within an hour, and also has an amazing personality! It was so fun getting ready with her and her team and everyone looked gorgeous and was so happy with their look. I would DEFINITELY recommend Eda.

I can't even begin to explain how wonderful Eda has been during my whole wedding planning process. Aside from her being incredibly organized (which is absolutely CRUCIAL during wedding planning) she was so attentive and understanding to my likes and dislikes of makeup and hair styles. For the wedding her and her team arrived promptly when she said she was going to. We had a hotel room so the space was limited but Eda made it work out perfectly. All the girls LOVED their makeup and hair. They looked absolutely stunning. As for me I can't even describe how perfect she did everything. My hair and makeup was EXACTLY how I imagined it to look like. I can't even thank Eda enough for making me feel and look like the most beautiful bride. She is truly amazing at what she does.

Eda helps get your day off to an enjoyable, fun, and simple start! Her and her team (Joanna, Gina, Amelia, and Courtney) were fantastic - they listened to what all of my 7 girls wanted and executed the style/look perfectly! Not to mention, the makeup and hairstyles for all of us seriously held all day into the morning after! I am so so glad that I booked with Eda! She helped me look and feel my best for my wedding day while still looking natural!

Where do I even Start!!!!!!!!!!! Eda & her team did an AMAZING JOB on my wedding day 11/10!!!! From the first day I met Eda I knew I was in good hands for my wedding! She is the sweetest person I have ever met and also the most professional!!!!!!!! She went above and beyond to make sure my day was PERFECT! My bridesmaid hair & mine came out PERFECT. Eda is worth way more than 5 stars! She is absolutely amazing and so very talented at what she does. I got married in September, by the time of our ceremony it was raining and I wasn’t going to budge on moving my outdoor ceremony inside. We were all in the rain and we all couldn’t believe how our hair and makeup survived the rain! You couldn’t even tell we had been rained on Eda brought the sweetest group of girls to help my very large bridal party get ready, she made the morning completely stress free! 1000% recommend!

Omg absolutely amazing! Kind and detailed. Me, my bridesmaids, mom, grandma, and flower girls were so happy with their hair and makeup. I got married this past summer and I can’t thank Eda enough for her impeccable services! Eda was the second person I did my hair and makeup trial with and I left confident that I was in the best hands. Her communication from beginning to end was on point, she has a great attitude and best of all, she’s mega talented! Eda and her team are the most amazing! I would recommend Eda a million times over! Do yourself a favor and don’t bother looking elsewhere! She did such a fabulous job with my hair and makeup on my wedding day and kept me stress free the entire time. Eda and her team were punctual and stayed perfectly with my timeline. I paid her to stay with me for touchups and veil placement, etc, because I had a long day with a first reveal and photos from 1:30 up until the ceremony at 7pm. She was such a trooper - she followed me with my photography and videography crew to a different location for my reveal and she kept me looking like a gorgeous bride all day long! She even touched up my bridal party throughout. We were all raving about her! Thank you Eda for making me look perfect on the most special day of my life!
