ker could create a beautiful and tasty wedding cake for us and our guests. They nailed it! We connected with Madelyn and Edda’s Cake Design, Doral. She was very easy to work with and scheduled a cake tasting for us a few months prior to ur wedding. We flew into Miami and met with Madelyn. She had several samples of cake of different flavors for us to try. My then fiancé, now wife, both chose the Puerto Rican Rum flavored cake. It was delicious. The guests loved it! Madelyn even added a cascading flower to our wedding cake prior to delivery. We had our wedding planner add the topper once it arrived to the reception venue. Edda’s Cake Design also make great desserts. We ordered pecan pie tarts, tiramisu, fruit tarts, flan, and guava mini cheesecake for our dessert table. Edda’s Cake Design, Doral made us the best wedding cake. Thanks Madelyn for all your help!

line, but the charge wasn't lost - they charged my account immediately. They were not apologetic or concerned that they couldn't find the cake. They were rude with my husband and insinuated he was in the wrong place.

nth, Edda’s made mine. Our guests raved about this cake. I had some come up to me just to ask what kind of cake it was and where it was from! It was gorgeous and incredibly delicious. We went with the classic vanilla rum which is my absolute favorite! The cake looked exactly as I imagined it to! Thank you for helping make our special day absolutely scrumptious!

he staff is very nice and we had no problems getting the cake delivered to the venue (as I know of!). They called to confirm the number of guests and cake the week of the wedding which was very convenient for me! The cake itself was beautiful and tasted great! We did marble, vanilla rum and key lime with white buttercream frosting. The guests all really enjoyed the cake and got a lot of compliments on it!

he Mayfair at Coconut Grove. When it was time for our cake tasting, we visited the location in South Miami and was helped by Sandra. Sandra did everything she could to make sure we were happy with the flavor and style of cake. Our cake was both delicious and beautiful on the night of our wedding! Can't wait to work with them again.

ay cakes from them for over 10 years. Their vanilla rum cake (extra moist) is bar far the best cake I have ever had. Their fondant is excellent (highly recommend). My cake was exactly as I designed it. All my guests were asking where my cake was from and commented on how delicious it was. I will continue to use Edda's for all my cake needs.

ation problems. My planner had a hard time setting up the groom’s cake order; she had to verify the order about 3 times. We also had issues with the cake stand that I rented from them; between my planner and I we confirmed a crystal cake stand rental on 4 separate occasions only to be told 2 days before my wedding that they gave the cake stand to someone else. Thanks to my planner, Edda’s agreed to make a brand new cake stand with crystals. Delicious and beautiful cakes but a lot of communication errors.

to choose a flavor we wanted them all! The day of the party, the guest agreed because there was none left! I never had a party where there wasn't a piece of cake left over. So, so, so good. Honestly you wont regret doing business with Edda. Not only was itdelicious, my cake was beautiful! The details were flawless and I couldn't be more happy with how it turned out; they made my dream cake a reality.

idea I wanted for our wedding cake. Ivonne went out of her way to ensure that the colors and the look of the cake matched our linens and décor. When we saw the cake the day of our wedding, we were blown away! It was truly the centerpiece of our wedding and far exceeded our expectations… Oh and of course we went with their famous vanilla rum and it was delicious!

nestly wish there were more choices. When I arrived for the tasting there was just the vanilla flavor, but I am not hard to please so vanilla was just fine!

for little pearls to be added to each layer. I was told it would be no problem and there was no mention of any extra fees. When the cake arrived, it came plain with no pearls. It was several hours before the wedding so I called Eddas to see what could be done. The customer service was seriously lacking on this call. I simply stated the issue and was told to look at the order because there was no mention of pearls and that it was an extra fee anyway. I had the order in my hand that has pearls not only mentioned, but drawn on the picture of the cake. I told them to call me back when they had a solution and never received a call back. At this point, there was not much I could do but go with what I had. The cake was still pretty when my cake topper was added but was pretty plain otherwise. Very very disappointed!! Would not recommend for the lack of customer service.

were so many possible flavors! Prices were reasonable and the delivery was on time. Our wedding cake was simple but largely what I’d asked for - the dozens of other desserts were delicious. But this is hearsay from my guests because there weren’t any left by the end of the night! I froze our wedding cake and ate it the week after and for some reason, it tasted even better then. Loved everything about the PPines office and will be ordering from them for family events for years to come.

hemed wedding that has birdcages as center pieces. I wanted a set of love birds as the main focal point of my cake I even gave them a picture of what I would like it to look like especially since I got married in jungle island. When my cake got to jungle island and I walked in to my venue, the cake was NOTHING as we spoke about. I should have realized it wasn’t when she looked like she was scribbling all over a paper. There was supposed to be lace on the bottom tier and it literally looks like garbage. As for my love birds, well that didn’t happen. They put a Victoria woman face on my cake. I almost started crying but calmed down thinking of the flavors. Unfortunately even that was disappointing because the cake was stale and my three tier cake did not have all the flavors I wanted. I asked for a refund and long behold they still haven’t given it to me.

fter that. We got a three tiered rum cake with buttercream frosting. It came out gorgeous, tasty, and fit our wedding theme well.

in for the cake testing with Karla and it was amazing compared to the other places we visited. We let her know that we had a few more places we would be tasting and if we wanted to order we would get back in contact. She said we could call over the phone to order. After visiting other vendors we decided this was the best. I should've known when it took me about 4 times calling & an unresponded email to place my order that I should've selected another vendor. I placed the order. I called leading up to the wedding to pay and verify that all aspects of the cake were written correctly. This too took multiple attempts at calling to get a response. Fast forward to my wedding when the cake was not correct. I was upset but it was fine I would call when I returned from my honeymoon and request a refund on the aspects that were wrong. 4 phone calls, another unresponded email and about 4 weeks later they finally processed my refund. There was no denying that they were wrong but there was always an excuse as to why my refund was not processed. Additionally, the first time I called the woman put me on hold for 11 minutes. I finally hung up and called back and another woman answered who had no idea what was going on. This store lacked professionalism and greatly disappointed me. Something that should've been stress free and fun was the only thing that went wrong at my wedding.

ere were so many different options for flavors. Depending on the size of your wedding, you can also pick multiple flavors which we loved. We were able to then look through a book and decide on design. It was so simple. Fast forward to the wedding, our cake was absolutely gorgeous and perfect. Also, sooooo delicious. Multiple guests came up to us and said it was the best wedding cake they've ever had (which I agree :) ) Absolutely choose Edda's for your wedding cake, you will not be disappointed!

g reviews across various websites, etc. Edda’s had a competitive rate and good reviews. The cake was beautiful with varying buttercream finishes on each of the 4 layers. The flavors were all delicious as well. The chocolate was our favorite because it was so rich and decadent. We received so many compliments which is rare these days (no one eats cake at weddings anymore?)! We did have some communication issues with their staff on pricing but these were quickly resolved. As with every wedding vendor, it’s best to keep detailed receipts and contracts in case of staff turnover you get what you agreed/paid for. Thanks Edda for making our wedding cake so special.

I only got one slice! They did such a great job and it looked exactly like the picture in my head. Our cake was half superhero themed & half "normal" elegant wedding cake. The design they created completely fit the vision we had and complemented the aesthetic of our wedding. I am definitely looking forward to eating the top tier of the cake on our first wedding anniversary.

e was stale. We were deciding between Edda's and Ana Paz but the difference between both services was noticeable. At Ana Paz we were met right away. At Edda's we had to wait for the lady behind the counter to finish up her (personal) phone call before she kind of dismissed us to a table. 15-20ish minutes later we got a book of about 5 designs to choose from (AP had tons!) and the cake was kind of tasteless. Now I've had Edda's before and it was delicious! But I was so unimpressed with the service and the tasting available that day I had to pass on having them for our wedding. I think Edda's is relying too heavily on their reputation these days and I would look elsewhere for your special day.

Also loved that they have several locations in the South Florida area, so we were able to do our tasting at a location closer to home rather than in the heart (and traffic) of Downtown Miami.
