Whatever your vision, be it an intimate gathering under ancient live oaks, a ceremony in our open-air chapel with gothic windows & reception in our elegant event barn, or a smaller reception on the veranda of the Manor house, overlooking our sparkling lake and secluded gardens, we have the setting to make it come true. Eden at Gracefield is a wedding and event venue in Walterboro, SC. With your venue investment, we provide: access to the property for your engagement or bridal photo session. Classic Seating - 200 Chairs included (Choice of 3 styles of chair plus (21) 60” round, (3) 8ft buffet tables, (3) 6ft tables, (10) cocktail tables, (1) 48” round table perfect for your cake table, and (4) 8ft farm tables are all included). Additional chairs for ceremony seating can be provided for standard rental rates. Exclusive event space the weekend of your wedding - you will have access to over 500 acres with multiple sites for intimate weddings or large groups. We host only one wedding per week. Our 8000 square foot Event Barn offers a 300+ guest capacity with covered porches, beautiful DRAPING (a $5000 value), a built-in bar, ADA restrooms, a large stage, upgraded lighting, caterer’s prep kitchen and polished concrete throughout that could be used as your dance floor. Our Wedding Chapel with built in pews to accommodate approximately 120-130 guests - our open-air chapel set at the end of our iconic Oak Avenue offers a beautiful setting for your ceremony. The use of the chapel is included in your venue rental and is an excellent rainy day option, allowing you the peace-of-mind of knowing your guests will have a sheltered area for your ceremony without the need to rent a tent or host the ceremony in the barn. We also have a bell-tower in the chapel for you to ring at the conclusion of your ceremony. “Something Borrowed” - We can provide either a hexagon arch or a wooden cross to use at your ceremony site (included at no charge) Golf Cart Service - on your wedding day we provide a 6 person golf cart with driver for 5 hours. This is a wonderful service to transport your guests from parking to ceremony to reception, or have us start earlier in the day to move you and your wedding party around the property for photos. (Additional hours available to rent for additional fee.) A Covered Dumpster - We provide a covered dumpster at the back of the event barn for the disposal of all event trash. This saves you from paying your caterers and bar service to haul off trash.

Paul and Laura Walker believe in love and want other couples to have the wedding of their dreams! Married in 2012, they have spent their time as a couple building and/or renovating multiple homes and properties in the Charleston and Colleton County area. They acquired Eden several years ago and immediately knew it was too special and unique to keep it to themselves. They decided to invest in building a large luxury “barn” on site in order to provide a convenient area for large wedding receptions. Going strong since November 2021 we love making wedding dreams come true.

nning in both its design and impactful simplicity. The view of the wedding party during the ceremony with the huge open “windows” as a backdrop is unique and visually special. The event barn is large but feels intimate with the ceiling drapings. We had tons of flexibility with the indoor/outdoor flow into the courtyard where we served appetizers and drinks. Do spend the extra to have the fire pits going during your event. It created great conversation areas for people to enjoy before, during, and after the reception. The residences are both visually impactful and comfortable. We had the wedding party stay onsite and it made life relaxing and convenient for everyone. The groom’s dinner was hosted on the patio of the Manor House - a mind blowing view and such an enjoyable evening for everyone. Highly recommend this venue. It helped us create such wonderful memories.

Our guests were very impressed with the venue and the entire weekend went smoothly and as planned. Jeff the venue manager was great to work with. Laura was great to work with as well and excellent at communicating. We used most preferred vendors all whom were wonderful! Would highly this venue! It was an Amazing balance of the "Classy yet Country" vibe we were wanting.

e for a place with Charleston charm but without the hidden fees, strict rules and timelines, and wandering tourists around every corner. This venue checked every single box and more. One of the first things that stood out was the transparency on their website. You can immediately see clear pricing and available dates without having to go back and forth for weeks just to get information. They also offer 3D tours of the chapel, barn, and all of the homes and cottages so you can really get a feel for the property before visiting. Once we connected with Laura, the experience only got better. She is incredibly responsive, honest, and helpful throughout the entire process. The team at Eden truly understands weddings and everything that comes along with them, and they go above and beyond to make your day as perfect as possible. I even saw the landscaping team working for hours to make sure the property looked absolutely perfect for our wedding weekend. And yes — wedding weekend! One of the most unique and valuable parts of this venue is that you get the entire property from Friday through Sunday, including multiple homes for your bridal party and family to stay in. Being able to arrive Friday morning, unpack, and settle in made the whole experience so relaxing. My entire family and wedding party stayed on the property, which meant no stress about people running late or coordinating transportation. It also gave us the chance to truly spend the entire weekend together. Another huge benefit was knowing no one had to drive home after drinking, and we were able to clean up Sunday morning instead of late Saturday night. If you’ve ever been to a wedding where the bride and groom are cleaning up for hours after their own reception, you know how big of a luxury that is! On top of all of this, the venue itself is absolutely stunning. I am still receiving compliments about how beautiful it was. There truly is nothing else like it anywhere near Charleston. For the price, you get privacy, accommodations, a gorgeous venue, tables and chairs, flexibility, and a team of people who genuinely care about making your day perfect. There are no required vendors, but they provide a list of recommended vendors who know the venue extremely well and are wonderful to work with. Every vendor I used came from this list (which is also transparently listed on their website), and they were all fantastic. If you are getting married anywhere in the Lowcountry, in my opinion there is no competition. I would choose this venue again a million times!

We fell in love with Eden the second we drove onto the property. It is a stunning venue and has everything you need to have a whole wedding weekend there. (And we were able to have...

our dog included in the ceremony which was the one thing we really wanted). We had a January wedding, and being from Charleston, it could be 70 degrees or freezing, so we took our chances. We had a little cooler day but overall it was beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for it to have been any other way. We had all the fire pits going and heaters inside the barn just in case, and that was plenty to keep our guests warm by the end of the night. The houses on the property were a huge selling point for us as we were able to have all of the bridal party stay from Friday-Sunday and could get in early Friday morning to decorate and get settled in. The staff and owners are very prompt in responding to any questions we had in the planning process and were very accommodating to us. We also had our engagement pictures done here and they turned out stunning as well. I love Eden so much and hope to get to go there for another wedding someday! We still get compliments of how beautiful the venue and our wedding was. Thank you for making our wedding weekend truly magical and unforgettable! Highly recommend!

All the houses are beautiful, comfortable and so well maintained. We were able to house the entire wedding party and most immediate family which was perfect! Would highly recommend!

ful over the past couple of years. Laura and Paul walker are the owners and super attentive. They and their staff worked so hard to make this the best day and honestly week of our lives! We stayed at the houses on the property, which are all so lovely and newly renovated. My favorite is the tobacco barn, being very homey and welcoming. I can't tell you how amazing and perfect this wedding was! Perfectly decorated by Laura's staff along with Sparkles, my wedding planner. It was supposed to rain on our big day and they had backup plans for everything. It was very reassuring to know that they were so prepared. If you are looking for a venue for your wedding I can tell you that this is the absolute best property to have your big day, you won't find anything better. The grounds and oak trees are without a doubt breathtaking. My Laura and her staff go above and beyond!

Ms. Laura was amazing and paid such attention to detail!! There was nothing we asked for that was not delivered!! It was absolutely magical.
