Located in the heart of St. Louis’ Central West End, Edera offers a collection of beautifully designed private event spaces ideal for gathering family and friends in celebration. Designed for events that feel personal, warm, and effortlessly elegant, Edera provides a welcoming setting for rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, engagement celebrations and intimate wedding gatherings where guests can relax, connect and celebrate together.
Accommodating 10–150 guests, Edera combines the atmosphere of a boutique event venue with the energy of a chef-driven restaurant. Because Edera operates as a full-service restaurant, celebrations feel naturally lively and inviting, with thoughtfully designed spaces that require little additional décor or production.
Under the direction of Executive Chef Andrew Simon, the culinary program centers on seasonal Italian cuisine prepared entirely from scratch. Menus are crafted for shared celebration, offering a true restaurant experience that feels refined, personal and distinctly different from traditional banquet dining.
Our experienced event team works closely with each host and planner to coordinate layouts, timing, and service, ensuring every detail feels seamless so you can fully enjoy the celebration alongside your guests.
Dining & Beverage Packages
Edera offers thoughtfully designed private dining menus created specifically for rehearsal dinners, welcome parties and special celebrations. Hosts may choose from curated multi-course dining experiences or reception-style menus, providing a restaurant-quality experience within a streamlined planning process.
Beverage service is available through curated bar packages, with optional enhancements available upon request.

Wine Room — Up to 40 seated | 55 cocktail-style
An intimate, stylish space ideal for rehearsal dinners and engagement celebrations, offering a warm setting while remaining connected to Edera’s vibrant atmosphere.
Fountain Room — Up to 100 seated | 150 cocktail-style
A spacious setting featuring a dramatic chandelier, exhibition kitchen views and a dedicated reception area for cocktails before dinner. Well suited for welcome parties, rehearsal dinners and celebrations with natural event flow.
Chef’s Table — Up to 14 seated
A semi-private dining space designed for intimate gatherings and rehearsal dinners where conversation and personalized service take center stage.
Courtyard — Up to 120 seated | 150 cocktail-style
A charming outdoor space ideal for cocktail receptions and social gatherings under the lights during warmer months.
All private event spaces are accessible by stairs or elevator and include built-in amenities such as 50-inch televisions for photo or video presentations, along with a wireless microphone and speaker system for toasts and brief remarks.

Chef
Executive Chef Andrew Simon leads the culinary program at Edera Italian Eatery, bringing more than two decades of experience in professional kitchens and a long-standing connection to this Central West End location. Known locally for his thoughtful, ingredient-driven approach, Chef Andrew has spent his career focused on one simple goal...cooking food that brings people together.
After beginning his career as a young cook in St. Louis restaurants, Chef Andrew went on to lead kitchens throughout the region before becoming Executive Chef of the restaurant that previously occupied this iconic Maryland Plaza space. Today, at Edera, he continues that tradition of hospitality with a refined Italian perspective shaped by years of experience, mentorship and creative exploration.
His cooking emphasizes seasonal ingredients, classic technique and restraint allowing flavors to speak for themselves rather than overcomplicating the plate. At Edera, every dish is prepared entirely from scratch, including house-made pastas, sauces, breads and desserts, creating a dining experience that feels personal, welcoming and distinctly restaurant-driven.
Chef Andrew approaches every event with the belief that meaningful celebrations begin with great food shared around the table. A philosophy that continues to define Edera’s warm and memorable guest experience.
