We used EME for live music during the ceremony and cocktail hour, a DJ for the reception, and opted for uplighting. Samantha, the violinist, was amazing! This was such a fun addition to the cocktail hour and our guests really enjoyed it. DJ Nicco ensured our mics were set for the ceremony, set up our uplighting, and kept the dance floor packed all night long! He helped keep us on schedule for our speeches and was so interactive with our guests. He played music that everyone enjoyed and truly made the energy of the night amazing! We weren’t planning a big traditional wedding—just an intimate celebration surrounded by nature—and yet Edgar treated our event with the same care, artistry, and professionalism as if it were a grand ballroom affair. I initially reached out with only a vague idea: I wanted something timeless and emotional for our ceremony, but not overly formal. Within a day, Edgar sent me a handful of thoughtfully curated options—solo guitar, violin, a jazz trio, even a harpist—and each came with sample recordings and ideas for how they might fit into the flow of the day. What impressed me most was how much time he took to understand our personalities, venue vibe, and even our guests’ musical tastes. We ultimately chose a classical guitarist and a cellist for the ceremony, followed by a modern acoustic duo for cocktails. The transitions were seamless. The guitarist timed my walk down the aisle perfectly—starting the melody just as I appeared at the top of the path—and the cellist’s arrangement of our favorite song (which Edgar had commissioned especially for us!) brought everyone to tears. Later, the duo somehow managed to blend indie, soul, and old-school classics into something that felt like the soundtrack to our story. Behind the scenes, Edgar handled every logistical detail with precision. He coordinated directly with our planner and officiant, confirmed load-in and sound setup times, and even checked the weather forecast to adjust amplification in case of wind. I never once had to worry about timing, cues, or tech—it was as if the music simply appeared when the moment called for it. After the event, several guests asked where we found “those incredible musicians.” That’s the magic of Edgar Music Entertainment: they don’t just provide performers, they curate experiences. Every note felt intentional. Every song choice reflected care and intuition. In an industry where communication and reliability can make or break an event, Edgar was a dream collaborator—responsive, kind, and endlessly professional. His musicians were not only extraordinarily talented but genuinely invested in making the day special. Even now, when we look back on our elopement video, the music gives us chills. n and wife during the right part of the song to come out to. Didn’t play some of the requested songs (I only gave 5). And he ruined my first dance. We discussed about the surprise music change. I even gave him the exact second times to change and we played to review it and all was well. He gave me one version on the phone. I said no that’s not what I want. We clarified and redid it multiple times to confirm. On the day of my wedding, didn’t do the surprise at all. Guess he just forgot to write it down and did the version he originally said. You know, the one I said I didn’t want. I spent weeks excited about it and it might not sound like the biggest deal but you are the DJ. This is your job and this was my first dance! I was in tears. I then messaged Edgar about it and never even got a response. Just avoid them. They’re going to do whatever they want anyway. Oh and for the extra fun. The week of the wedding, I get informed that there’s an extra person coming. I was lucky to be able to get another vendor meal but like what? I guess the DJ hires his own assistant. Fine but now I have to pay for the additional meal with 4 days notice and then the rest of the nights events. 

to come up with our entrance to reception song. Edgar sent a list of suggestions based on the type of music we liked and that helped us find our song. Our questions regarding songs, photobooth, lighting etc. were always answered and we really felt their support. For day of the wedding we were paired with DJ Austin. From our initial call we knew he would bring all the right energy. We had given him a short list of Lithuanian songs that we wanted to be played throughout the cocktail hour and reception. Not only did he play them all but he also added a handful of songs not from our list and I was amazed that he was able to do that in a foreign language. All of the extra songs fit the vibe of the night and our foreign guests (including myself, the bride) had an absolute best time of our life. We also included sax and percussion and both guys were great and engaging with the crowd. The floor was never empty and multiple guests wanted to know the name of the company. We can't recommend Edgar and his team enough. They are talented and beyond helpful. Thank you for making our day so much more memorable!

The cocktail hour playlist was spot on—it created the perfect atmosphere and felt so “us.” Once the reception started, he had people on the dance floor nonstop, and it honestly never felt empty the entire night. I got so many compliments from guests about how great the music was and how much fun they had dancing. Austin was professional, easy to work with, and just such a fun presence to have on our big day. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ and I’d recommend him a thousand times over!

We gave him a pretty broad list of ideas for music and trusted him to make it all come together. incredible! We spoke to Nicco in the weeks leading up to the wedding where we reviewed all of our song choices and helped curate our music vibe. Nicco made sure to play all of our ‘Must Play’ songs but we left most of the rest to him, and he absolutely crushed it. We got several compliments on our DJ who really brought the energy to a Sunday night wedding. Highly recommend booking with EME.

e clearly explained the packages to us but he was not pushy for us to book with him. We ended up booking two live musicians for the ceremony and cocktail hour, a DJ for the reception, a photo booth and snow for our first dance. Each vendor that he send was phenomenal, talented, professional and a great time! The live musicians for the ceremony and cocktail hour were beyond talented! We went with a violin and a cello. They created such a beautiful ambiance to start the evening. We were even able to pick three songs for them to learn and play during the ceremony, it was incredible. The photo booth was set up during the reception and they had everything! I have never seen so many awesome props. We were able to pick the design of our photo strips, so it matched our decor beautifully. The attendant was so sweet! She was very helpful and patient with our guests helping them get the perfect photo. At the end of the night we were given a beautiful book, containing all the photos with messages from our guests. It is one of my favorite “souvenirs” from the night. For the reception we had DJ Nicco, and to say that he was fantastic is an understatement. We have had guests raving to us about how great the music was at our wedding. He hit every single music genre that we requested, and kept the dance floor going for the entire night. A great DJ is part of what makes a great wedding, and DJ Nicco helped us to have the best event possible. Lastly, we had it snow for our first dance. It was such a beautiful touch. The snow showed up in all of the pictures and it was a great touch for our winter wedding. The technician was so great, he let it snow on us for the last dance of the night too! I was so surprised and it was a lovely ending to a perfect night. To anyone out there looking for a wedding entertainment company, Edgar Music Entertainment is the best choice! The pricing for each package is great and every one on the staff is amazing. They listen, respond to emails so quickly and overall create the best energy for your wedding.

He understood the vibe we were going for and the music we did and didn’t want played. He made sure the dance floor was packed all night. ess and he made all of our questions and concerns heard and resolved everything before the wedding. Our DJ Nicco was top notch! I can honestly say he made the entire night go flawlessly. From the moment we had our phone call with Nicco to go over the day of I could instantly tell it was going to be perfect, and we were so right in that feeling. From the moment DJ Nicco showed up he promptly met with our coordinator and set up all equipment, after which we went over some last-minute items that were left out on my part from the call with him the day before. Nicco made everyone feel comfortable though the night because he is so personable and easy to talk with. DJ Nicco also kept the life of the party going. I can honestly say people were dancing from the time music started until the time it stopped at the end of the night. He really is a Master MC/DJ. We ended up raffling off our centerpieces and Nicco was quick on his feet to come up with a way to raffle them off in a fun way! Even the Photo booth was so easy for all of our guests and the attendant was polite, patient and ensured every photo went smoothly. We cannot thank Edgar, Nicco and staff enough for all they have done to ensure our day went flawless. 5 stars is not enough I would give them 10 stars

singing his praises and so many of our guests have reached out to talk about how amazing our music and DJ was. To start, we gave DJ Nicco a big task. My husband and his family are from Pakistan. My family and I are from the Dominican Republic and I was born and raised in NYC. My music taste is eclectic, ranging from 70s hits to the epic 2000s millennial bops. But it ALSO includes a wide range of Spanish music from all eras and genres. My husband isn't a big music person, but we did want to highlight great Pakistani/Indian/Desi music. In our initial form that we sent over, I poured every song I could think of onto the paper, thinking "This is going to be a mess. This is allllll over the place." I've got to be 100% honest. I've never used a DJ and was kind of expecting a "well I'll press play on my playlist and you'll get what you get" mentality. My God was I wrong! During our phone consultation, DJ Nicco put us at ease and was really involved, asking questions and talking about different vibes for the day. He made sure to ask how to say any names that he had to say out loud. Very thorough. After the call, I was like ok won't be bad. AGAIN... wrong. DJ Nicco absolutely killed it. I could go on and on and on but I just really appreciated all of his effort. His pronunciation was top tier (better than our officiant), he got the party started on such a high note, and kept the dance floor filled all night long. I was dancing nonstop and so were many guests. There was never a lull, not even during dinner! He kept it smooth and fun while we sat but amped it up as soon as the food was gone. I'll stop here because I could go on forever. Edgar Music Entertainment was easy to work with from the beginning. DJ Nicco deserves all of the praise as a true master of his craft. And we also had a photobooth which was a lot of fun!

Edgar made planning a breeze, working seamlessly with our Maitre D’ to coordinate everything. His communication was prompt, and we always felt like a top priority. The photo booth was a huge hit with our guests, who loved taking home their custom photo strips as keepsakes. The free engagement shoot was so much fun (the last thing we expected to say going into it lol) and Seth really brought his all to capturing cool shots while keeping us on time the day of - despite downed cell service and our resulting frayed nerves after the tropical storm came through!

o us finding the perfect wedding band--Hudson Heights. Hudson Heights was, above and beyond, the best wedding band we have ever seen. And that is not just coming from us, but from every single guest that we spoke with. Every song that Hudson Heights played sounded perfect (many even better than the originals). They kept the party going all night, with our guests hardly leaving the dance floor. When the night came to a close, Hudson Heights graciously played yet another song--letting us savor the night even more. For our processional songs, the covers were more beautiful than we could have imagined and set the perfect tone for our ceremony. And then, for our first dance, there are simply no words to describe Hudson Height's rendition of our song. As much as we want to think it was our dance that moved people to tears, we have no doubt that at least a large part of the emotion was from the beauty they were able to capture in their performance. We want to give a special shoutout to Eden, who was so warm and kind with us every step of the way. It is so clear how much she cares and how determined she is to provide the very best experience. The photo booth through Edgar Music Entertainment was also perfect. We were able to customize the design with images we created for the wedding. The guests all loved taking a photo strip home, and we have a copy of each photo strip to remember the most perfect night for the rest of our lives. Thank you to Edgar, Eden, Hudson Heights, and everyone who helped make our wedding such a success.

Eden from Hudson Heights similarly was communicative, professional, and fun to work with. The band- Hudson Heights- just AMAZING. They made us feel like the most special couple, we felt like they were a part of our wedding guest family, and the music from intros to first dance to transitions and more was just stellar. We had worked to cultivate a playlist that was special to us, and they truly delivered and more. They learned a few new songs for us and it was truly superb. So many guests came up to us tell us how much they loved the band and would want to see them live again. The musicality and cohesion of the sound was spot on and fit the space very well. We loved that they knew our venue. They did an excellent job helping create the mood and setting making the evening flow beautifully. We cannot wait to hear them play again! Hire them! You will not be disappointed!

had called a few DJ’s but each felt like they were just trying to either see if our wedding was worth the work or spent most of the time trying to push the most expensive package they offered. However, one phone call with Edgar and it was clear Edgar stood out. The conversation felt like talking to someone who felt genuinely passionate about making the event special for us. He wanted to know our story and what kind of party we wanted. Didn’t push for anything and was open to answer the many questions we had. On the wedding day Edgar’s team led by Austin arrived on time and was set up quick. The wedding day was a blur, but we kept getting stopped by our guest to let us know how much they loved the music, the DJ, and the photo booth we got. The whole night we had great aunts to my 4 year old niece on the dance floor. Great people, great music, professional, and very caring. Highly recommend.
