This has been the ONE vendor review that I have been DYING to write since the day of my wedding. DJ Nicco... he was EXCEPTIONAL. Really and truly. My husband and I have not stopped singing his praises and so many of our guests have reached out to talk about how amazing our music and DJ was. To start, we gave DJ Nicco a big task. My husband and his family are from Pakistan. My family and I are from the Dominican Republic and I was born and raised in NYC. My music taste is eclectic, ranging from 70s hits to the epic 2000s millennial bops. But it ALSO includes a wide range of Spanish music from all eras and genres. My husband isn't a big music person, but we did want to highlight great Pakistani/Indian/Desi music. In our initial form that we sent over, I poured every song I could think of onto the paper, thinking "This is going to be a mess. This is allllll over the place." I've got to be 100% honest. I've never used a DJ and was kind of expecting a "well I'll press play on my playlist and you'll get what you get" mentality. My God was I wrong! During our phone consultation, DJ Nicco put us at ease and was really involved, asking questions and talking about different vibes for the day. He made sure to ask how to say any names that he had to say out loud. Very thorough. After the call, I was like ok won't be bad. AGAIN... wrong. DJ Nicco absolutely killed it. I could go on and on and on but I just really appreciated all of his effort. His pronunciation was top tier (better than our officiant), he got the party started on such a high note, and kept the dance floor filled all night long. I was dancing nonstop and so were many guests. There was never a lull, not even during dinner! He kept it smooth and fun while we sat but amped it up as soon as the food was gone. I'll stop here because I could go on forever. Edgar Music Entertainment was easy to work with from the beginning. DJ Nicco deserves all of the praise as a true master of his craft. And we also had a photobooth which was a lot of fun!

We couldn't be happier with Edgar Music Entertainment for our wedding! From the start, Edgar was incredibly responsive and helpful. I found Edgar’s company while searching for a wedding band in North Jersey, and we are so glad we did! We hired the band Hudson Heights, and they were phenomenal—the dance floor was packed from the moment the reception began. Edgar made planning a breeze, working seamlessly with our Maitre D’ to coordinate everything. His communication was prompt, and we always felt like a top priority. The photo booth was a huge hit with our guests, who loved taking home their custom photo strips as keepsakes. Edgar also guided us in selecting the perfect up-lighting color, which looked incredible and enhanced the venue beautifully. Thank you, Edgar, for helping make our wedding unforgettable!

Edgar was super friendly and supportive to work with in the months leading up to the wedding. In addition to their reasonably priced basic DJ package, EME also has photographers on contract, and our photographer Seth Pellum was fantastic. He and EME generously worked with us to find a shorter coverage window that met our needs and brought Seth's work within our price point. The free engagement shoot was so much fun (the last thing we expected to say going into it lol) and Seth really brought his all to capturing cool shots while keeping us on time the day of - despite downed cell service and our resulting frayed nerves after the tropical storm came through!

We cannot recommend Edgar Music Entertainment highly enough. From our first call, Edgar was so helpful (and extremely patient as we changed plans numerous times!). This all led to us finding the perfect wedding band--Hudson Heights. Hudson Heights was, above and beyond, the best wedding band we have ever seen. And that is not just coming from us, but from every single guest that we spoke with. Every song that Hudson Heights played sounded perfect (many even better than the originals). They kept the party going all night, with our guests hardly leaving the dance floor. When the night came to a close, Hudson Heights graciously played yet another song--letting us savor the night even more. For our processional songs, the covers were more beautiful than we could have imagined and set the perfect tone for our ceremony. And then, for our first dance, there are simply no words to describe Hudson Height's rendition of our song. As much as we want to think it was our dance that moved people to tears, we have no doubt that at least a large part of the emotion was from the beauty they were able to capture in their performance. We want to give a special shoutout to Eden, who was so warm and kind with us every step of the way. It is so clear how much she cares and how determined she is to provide the very best experience. The photo booth through Edgar Music Entertainment was also perfect. We were able to customize the design with images we created for the wedding. The guests all loved taking a photo strip home, and we have a copy of each photo strip to remember the most perfect night for the rest of our lives. Thank you to Edgar, Eden, Hudson Heights, and everyone who helped make our wedding such a success.

Wow! Hire EME and the band Hudson Heights! From start to finish Edgar and Hudson Heights were top notch! From our first conversation with Edgar we knew we would be in good hands. Excellent professionalism, listened to our vision, and helped with all the details along the way to make our evening perfect. Eden from Hudson Heights similarly was communicative, professional, and fun to work with. The band- Hudson Heights- just AMAZING. They made us feel like the most special couple, we felt like they were a part of our wedding guest family, and the music from intros to first dance to transitions and more was just stellar. We had worked to cultivate a playlist that was special to us, and they truly delivered and more. They learned a few new songs for us and it was truly superb. So many guests came up to us tell us how much they loved the band and would want to see them live again. The musicality and cohesion of the sound was spot on and fit the space very well. We loved that they knew our venue. They did an excellent job helping create the mood and setting making the evening flow beautifully. We cannot wait to hear them play again! Hire them! You will not be disappointed!

Got really lucky when my now wife and I picked Edgar Entertainment for our wedding. Anyone getting married knows there are so many options and decisions that you have to make. We had called a few DJ’s but each felt like they were just trying to either see if our wedding was worth the work or spent most of the time trying to push the most expensive package they offered. However, one phone call with Edgar and it was clear Edgar stood out. The conversation felt like talking to someone who felt genuinely passionate about making the event special for us. He wanted to know our story and what kind of party we wanted. Didn’t push for anything and was open to answer the many questions we had. On the wedding day Edgar’s team led by Austin arrived on time and was set up quick. The wedding day was a blur, but we kept getting stopped by our guest to let us know how much they loved the music, the DJ, and the photo booth we got. The whole night we had great aunts to my 4 year old niece on the dance floor. Great people, great music, professional, and very caring. Highly recommend.

Edgar Music Entertainment rocked the house all night long on our wedding night! Our DJ, Nicco, definitely read the room and played the music that the crowd was feeling! From the minute that he started playing, I don’t think that there was any point that the dancefloor was empty! Guests were absolutely raving for days and weeks about how much fun they had, many saying that it was one of the most fun weddings they had every been to! I absolutely recommend!

We absolutely loved our experience with EME and DJ Nicco for our wedding in February 2024. Leading up to the wedding, Edgar was very easy to work with, highly communicative and responsive, friendly, and accommodating. DJ Nicco is FANTASTIC. He was very thoughtful in how he listened to our tastes and approached curating a vibe for us. He totally understood what we were looking for and brought it to life better than we could have imagined! We lost count of how many times guests (in all age groups) told us they loved the music and the vibes. Nearly three weeks later, and they still are! The dance floor was packed from the moment the reception started. Everyone had a blast. If we ever need to plan another party with a DJ, we’d definitely call them again. People loved the photo booth too, and we loved how customized we could make it. Highly recommend!!

We hired Edgar Music Entertainment for our wedding and he was a pleasure to work with! He is very responsive to emails and took the time and effort to make sure all of the details were covered and that we could have our wedding in the way that we envisioned it. We had specific musical arrangements that we wanted and they were able to accommodate everything, as well as provided other entertainment such as a photobooth and magic mirror which was a great hit among the guests. DJ George was also a great DJ that helped bring energy to the crowd and accommodated all of our requests. People remember 3 things from weddings. Food , music and cake. Everyone including myself and my wife had a great time dancing all night thanks to the perfectly played music and song choices. Edgar and Mo did a great job !

From the start Edgar was absolutely amazing. From our first phone call with him, my husband and I hit it off with him. We’re huge country fans and Edgar got that from the start. Over our 2 year engagement, Edgar promptly kept in contact with us and set the day up for success. We had no need to worry about a thing! We wanted live music for our ceremony and cocktail hour and he set us up with one of his artists Brian. Brian was soooo great!! He took our love for country music and made it so personal and played all our favorite songs. Our guests were raving about him!! Edgar personally DJed our wedding and man did he kill it! Kept the beats flowing all night with such a great variety suited for us. And the best part was he ensured that my husband and I got a moment of privacy at the end of the night to dance to our favorite song. Edgar was so laid back yet so professional. We couldn’t be any happier and I guarantee if you book with him, he will set you up with a day full of fun, dancing and good vibes!

EME is the perfect music vendor! Edgar was a pleasure to correspond with, he also answered promptly and filled all of our requests! Our DJ, Dave, took all of our directions and elevated our entire wedding experience!! We also had Steve play keyboard during the ceremony and it could not have been easier. We sent him the songs we wanted, and he showed up prepared, knowing the music, and was extremely professional throughout. Edgar and his team made it so that we never had to worry about our wedding entertainment and our guests cannot stop raving about how good the DJ was or how special our ceremony music was! Grateful for Edgar Music Entertainment! Edgar was a pleasure to correspond with for our wedding and was overall very organized and great about checking in with us. DJ George did an excellent job on the day of to keep it fun and lighthearted for all of our guests. We also rented our photobooth through them; we loved the booth, our attendant was very kind, and he also put together a wonderful compilation of the booth photos from the day in a nice booklet. We had the pleasure of having Edgar as DJ for our Wedding day! He provided it all from the ceremony outside, cocktail hour in the bar and the reception in the Ballroom, sound, music and lighting ! Edgar and his team are absolutely wonderful! We had DJ Nicco for our wedding reception and a photobooth, both were perfect! Egdar was extremely responsive leading up to our wedding day and helpful in making adjustments (i.e. adding a photo booth, changing photo booth backgrounds, adding a sound system for the ceremony) as close as the week of the event. All our guests had the best time in the photo booth and the custom picture strip design was adorable. DJ Nicco totally understood our vibe and curated the BEST party environment, us and our guests were on the dance floor all night! All the introductions, first dances, and speeches happened seamlessly. I couldn't recommend EME more!

DJ Dave is the best! He perfectly blended music that our Russian and Italian families loved. DJ Dave came as a reccomendation and I now cannot reccomend him enough! Working with Edgar behind the scenes was a fantastic experience as well! From helping us with our music selection to working with us to customize our photobooth strip, Edgar was incredibly responsive and easy going. EME is such an amazing team, they made our big day!

Edgar was very fun to work with! It made the process of picking a DJ very easy. He was very organized and ensured that we could customize our day to make it everything that we wanted. He set us up with one of his DJs, Nicco, who was amazing! He called us a couple days before the wedding to go through all of the details. Everyone loved the music and danced all night. We had George the DJ and the photo booth for our wedding a few weeks ago and couldn't have been happier with both! They bring so much value to the teams and the Bride and Groom and Family, they are almost wedding planners all within the entertainment section of your event. Music to me is the most important part of a wedding. My husband and I had very specific requests for music from the ceremony to the reception. Our dear friends played guitar and sang for the ceremony as we walked down the aisle. Edgar music set up the entire ceremony sound system and mixed the sound for a perfect ceremony. They even allowed a sound check with our singers to ensure the sound would be perfect. The cocktail went off without a hitch with some jazz music. For the reception, my husband and I did a tap dance as our first dance. I discussed with Nicco that it was important that the music was not too loud so that the guests could hear our tap sounds. The sound levels were perfect. As for the reception, Nicco killed it. All of our guests kept coming up to me saying that the DJ's transitions were on fire. My request was 5 Beyonce songs in a row, and he did not disappoint. The entire night was perfect and I would absolutely recommend Edgar Music Entertainment for your event!

To say we were extremely satisfied is a complete understatement. The guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing DJ Nicco was and I was amazed with how he kept the crowd on the dance floor. He was engaging, inclusive and incredibly fun. I quote “the Photo Booth provides the most amazing filter I’ve ever experienced, you have to go try it”. Everyone from every age loved their experience. Edgar walked us through options and gave us lots of details on the packages. Very easy to work with, would recommend to anyone planning a wedding or a party!

They deserve more than 5 stars. Our wedding was 4/23/23 and Nicco KILLED it! He took what we wanted and ran with it. I’ve never seen so many people on the dance floor at a wedding. So many of our guests came up to us to tell us how awesome the DJ was and I’m still getting text messages complimenting him.

All my guests were up dancing, Edgar was on top of business with the contracts and then Sam was our DJ. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ, she had everyone engaged. She ran the show. Sam is totally in her element doing what she’s doing being behind the DJ table. She’s like having a rock star host your party.

Edgar Music Entertainment were very professional and supportive throughout the entire process. They were even able to match the Photo Booth photo strips background to our themed Wedding Invitations! DJ George was fantastic and made our wedding night so much fun!

I'm so glad we chose Edgar and his team for our wedding! The DJ packages were affordable and made it easy to figure out exactly what we needed. DJ Nicco kept everyone dancing all night and listened to all of our requests that we discussed beforehand. Above all he was able to read the room and so many of our guests complimented the music afterward. We also got ceremony musicians (violin/cello) and a photo booth which was an absolute hit. Overall a 10/10 experience!

Nicco was an amazing DJ/MC and I highly recommend using this company for your upcoming event/wedding! Our guests were dancing from the time the reception started until it ended. Nicco really knows how to not only read a crowd, build the energy, and make sure everyone has a great time, but also made sure to give great detail and attention to important parts of the day like the music played during the first dance or when walking down the aisle. From start to finish, Edgar was a dream to work with, and his team of musicians for our wedding blew us out of the water. Our ceremony and cocktail musicians were so talented and played every song we requested; our DJ kept our guests on the dance floor the entire night and was our hype man. Absolutely amazing! The best decision we made for our wedding was booking the Jersey Joint through EME. They were incredible and so accommodating - even learned songs for us, and had us laughing, crying, dancing....the best!!!

I wish there 6 or 7 stars to offer here. We hired EME for our wedding a couple of weeks ago, Edgar provided 3 different sets of artists for us. He worked with us to understand our specific vision and wants, and he understood and made it happen. He was professional, attentive, helpful, responsive and communicated amazingly. First we had a pianist - Russell Norkevich who provided our ceremony music. Russell was fabulous, he nailed the music we requested, had immense talent, and not only that, but when our service was delayed for transport issues he played well past his time allotment to keep the guests entertained. Then we had the Steve Teti Jazz trio for our cocktail hour - and they were so professional, the sound was amazing, the music was played was exactly right for our setting. The band were so accommodating that when my dad who is an amateur musician asked if he could join them with his harmonica they welcomed him and even asked him to play a couple more sets. They really were quite spectacular. Then we had DJ Joe G - for the reception / party. Our only real instructions to him were "read the room" and keep everyone dancing all night. Well boy did he do that. His MC'ing was absolutely impeccable, his music selections were great. I truly can't say enough good things about Edgar / EME and the artists he selected for us. We had so many comments from our guests about the music for all parts of our day.. Truly magical

Edgar was really easy to work with - he was professional, responded quickly, and really understood what I was looking for in a DJ. He has a few DJs who work for him, but matched me with Niko based on the vibe I was going for. Nico was so lively, but didn’t make a spectacle (this is a plus for me, because I didn’t want an DJ/MC to make the wedding into a show). He was great at reading the room and had everyone on the dance floor all night! My sister told me he had to basically kick people off to go eat - that’s how much they loved what he was playing. I also booked a Photo Booth with EME. My guests had a great time and I received a booklet with a printout of all the photos taken throughout the night. Guests were even able to write a note in it for us! It was really so nice. I definitely recommend Edgar Music Entertainment!

Edgar Music Entertainment is hands down the best company we worked with for our wedding. From the beginning, Edgar was extremely engaging and responsive. He really took his time to answer all of my wife’s questions and nail down the sound we were going for. While planning this wedding over the course of two years, Edgar always made it a point to check in with us and answer our hundreds of questions. While we thought we were only going to use Edgar to book a DJ, we ended up also hiring a cocktail band, violinist, and the coolest Magic Mirror photobooth! We really wanted a female DJ for our wedding, and Edgar immediately set us up on a Zoom meet and greet with DJ Chelli. DJ Chelli was super outgoing and so easy to talk to! In the weeks leading up to the wedding, DJ Chelli was always just a text or phone call away and never left us handing. DJ Chelli was extremely organized, and played all of our song requests! She timed out the first dance and parent dances exactly the way we wanted, and abided by our ‘do not play list.’ DJ Chelli kept the dance floor going all night, and people are still raving about how much they danced! The best part was how well DJ Chelli worked with the violinist and cocktail band. Everything was seamless, which is exactly how it should be on your big day! Although the violinist wasn’t hired directly through Edgar’s company, he still took the time to help us find exactly the right fit for our wedding and blew us away. At that point, we decided we also wanted an authentic New Orleans style jazz band for our cocktail hour. Edgar began sending us clips and after numerous emails back and forth, he found us the Defending Champions. We were so excited to have them play, but nothing could prepare us for how incredible they sounded in-person! Within minutes, our friends from New Orleans began doing a second line and waving napkins in the air. It was so much fun, and one of the best moments of the day. The band was the utmost professional and immediately began engaging the crowd and you could tell they truly love what they do. Lastly, the Magic Mirror was a huge hit, and we loved the photo album we got to take home that night! Edgar worked with us to find the exact photo background that we wanted, and was willing to change colors/fonts/themes where necessary. Overall, I honestly wish I could get married again just so I could work with Edgar. He has the patience of a saint, and the music professionals in his group are spectacular. Everyone was on time, organized, and dressed like they were going to the Emmy’s. Thank you Edgar for everything you did over the last two years while we planned the wedding of our dreams. It was everything we could have asked for!!

EME did an amazing job helping organize all of our music for my wedding! I explained to Edgar what we were looking for and he helped deliver! For our ceremony we had Oscar play acustic guitar, Russell played piano for our cocktail hour/dinner, Austin DJ'd the reception! All of our guests loved each musician! It was a unique setup at my venue but there was no flaws in our plan! Edgar also helped me find an audio professional so I could have sound at our ceremony too! He did a great job with details, I was never worried or stressed with this portion of my wedding. If I ever have another big event & need music EME is my go to! Thank you so much for everything!

Working with Edgar and booking Jersey Joint for our wedding was the best decision. Edgar was awesome to work with and so patient as my husband and I worked through options with him. Our ceremony music was perfect from start to finish. And Jersey Joint absolutely rocked and kept the dance floor packed all night! Gerry, the band leader, was a pleasure to work with. When we spoke about some of our preferences ahead of the wedding, he really listened and totally got our vibe. There was great range to the set list so we got a lot of dancing in and heard some of our favorites including Pearl Jam and Sublime (so fun!) Our family and friends were raving about the band all night; they sounded incredible, had great chemistry and energy all night. Honestly wish I could relive and do the party all over again :)

So easy to work with and really attentive and reasonable-- Edgar was so helpful and got us the perfect solution for our needs for our wedding within a two week turnaround. Much appreciated and the music was terrific, the guests loved the band -- we used the duo 'Gerry and Jeff' and they did a fantastic job. Thank you!

We hired Steve Teti a keyboard musician to play at our daughters micro wedding at Brooklake Country Club. He played during the ceremony and cocktails. He added a wonderful ambiance to the evening. Steve was fabulous and very easy to work with. Highly recommend!!

We went through Edgar to find a jazz trio for our micro wedding during COVID. He helped me work through any concerns I had, and the band (Oscar Rodriguez Trio) turned out to be INCREDIBLE! They even learned more than 10 songs for us, and all wore masks, were safe, and kind. Everything was well priced and we are so grateful for Edgar's help and the band's effort and talent!

We worked with Edgar Music and had The Jersey Joint as our wedding band. They were fantastic! We couldn’t have been happier to work with this group. From start to finish, planning and all, Gerry (band leader) was so nice and thorough. He made sure all details were planned out and the music selection was fit to our preferences. Their kindness matched their incredible talent as a band. They had amazing chemistry as a group and kept everyone in their feet dancing. We got compliment after compliment about The Jersey Joint. We also used lighting design from Edgar Music and were so happy. The uplighting added the perfect touch to our room. We HIGHLYYYY recommend this company for your wedding!

Edgar is very professional and put as at ease preparing for our wedding! We booked a guitarist/singer for our cocktail hour and had so many compliments on him. The song list Edgar provided made it easy for us to pick our songs for the entire hour. Edgar also matched up a DJ/MC for our reception after we talked through our preferences and gave song choices. The DJ had the all the guests up and dancing, and it was not a huge dancing crowd. The night would not have been as exciting or fun if we did not have this DJ. We highly recommend reaching out to Edgar for your event!

Edgar was a pleasure to work with. He was very involved in making sure we got exactly what we needed. We had the Dave Easton Band play at our wedding and it was a great decision. They kept the party going long after it was supposed to end. They were incredibly talented and can play a wide range of covers. I highly recommend Edgar & Dave to anyone looking for a top notch wedding band.

My wife and I used EME for our recent wedding and they were amazing! First, the process of actually booking our musician was a breeze. Edgar, the gentleman we worked with (and the owner I believe), was a blessing. Very kind, prompt, and easy to work with. Couldn't have had a more pleasant experience. As far as the actual musician, we hired a pianist named Russell (who actually caught our attention while playing at our rehearsal dinner). He played during our cocktail hour and our sit down dinner and had absolutely zero issue working with the DJ timing-wise. Russell is an excellent pianist and marvelous singer; just a great entertainer in general. On top of that, he couldn't have been more kind. Always wore a smile and happily conversed with the guests after receiving numerous well-deserved compliments. We do believe EME and Russell will see some additional bookings from guests in attendance. He was really that good. Also, the price was reasonable and frankly lower than what we expected to be quoted. And, as all planning a wedding know, costs can pile up. Please don't let fear of breaking the bank scare you away from using EME. (And whatever they charge is well worth it, trust me!). The EME experience was excellent and Russell was likely the highlight of what was a tremendous event (just to give you an idea of how highly we would recommend the service). We will be using EME for any upcoming events where we need live music. We are very excited to hear Russell play again!

They went above and beyond Anything we could of asked for! From the live musicians to the DJ it was absolutely amazing! We hired them for our wedding at rock island lake club and we could not have been happier and it was money well spent!

I had The Jersey Joint (band) perform at my wedding and they absolutely rocked the house and had everyone up and dancing the entire night. Gerry (the band leader) was awesome, very helpful and responsive. I couldn't recommend them enough. I've been to a handful of weddings now with bands and I am happy to say that Jersey Joint was the best of them all. I received an outpouring of compliments from my guests. Easiest 5-star rating I've ever given.

We had Darren and George play at our wedding celebration, choosing the DJ and Live Music. Our choice could not have been better - this team went above and beyond our expectations. From the time we reached out to Edgar we received fantastic service. A number of our guests reached out to tell us how perfect the music was, and how they knew all the right songs to play. During the party they were accommodating and always checking in with us to make sure everything was perfect. We would recommend Edgar and his team for any music needs!
