Edg-Clif Vineyard, Winery & Brewery

I searched high and low for the perfect outdoor wedding venue. I just happened to find Edg-Clif online and fell in love with the land on our first visit! There is a white barn on the property where guests can walk through to enter the property if you choose to do it that way. There are two or three areas you can have your ceremony (including a beautiful garden area for a smaller wedding), a pavilion or large lawn for tent set up, and a bridal house with five or six wheelchair accessible bathrooms. There is also onsite electricity available. The wedding coordinator is super friendly and helpful! The planning process was very laid back and not as stressful as I thought it would be. My only compliant would be the set up process the day before the wedding. We live 2 hours away and as discussed, we were planning on arriving early the day before to set up and decorate. Our rehearsal ceremony was planned for 3pm followed by my trial hair and make up and rehearsal dinner at a restaurant in the neighboring town. When we arrived, nothing as far as tent, tables and chairs were set up. The tent company had arrived on time, but didn't know where to put the tent because there was nobody there to direct them. The wedding coordinator had all of the wedding paperwork with the details (number of tables, chairs, extra tables, diagrams) and didn't show up until our rehearsal ceremony time. I feel we really wasted our morning waiting around and in turn, we ran late trying to catch up. I ended up cancelling my trial hair and makeup appointment because we were running so behind and barely made it to the rehearsal dinner in time. I really recommend planning the day before out with her so you don't run into extra stress like we did! Other than that, we were very pleased! The staff goes out of their way to help you and they do not nickle and dime you to death on the little things! It was a little cold once the sun set and the staff even set up a fire pit for guests to sit by, which worked out perfectly since our favors were smore kits! The venue has only been up and running as a wedding venue for a year or so and I for see prices rising soon! It is Potosi's hidden little secret :) FYI, there is a bison ranch next door and if you're guests are lucky, as they drive in they will see bison roaming around!
