Annalisa and her team did an amazing job for our wedding. We had a 200 person, vegetarian wedding and Annalisa created a menu that everyone loved. The appetizers and main course were really quite good and her presentation was excellent. She was also very responsive over email in the days leading up to our wedding and was great to work with. She was also affordable- we got some INSANE quotes while booking vendors and Annalisa's pricing was very reasonable :) I'd recommend her to anyone. PS- Annalisa also catered a good friend's wedding 9/2021 and the presentation and food were great there too!

Annalisa is truly out of this world. When have you ever heard of wedding guests asking for seconds? They did at my wedding this past September because of her catering. Not only is she a lovely, kind, generous person -- she is an exceptional cook, ideator, and caterer. I trusted her from the get-go and she wowed our wedding guests. We had a menu that reflected Maine and the local ingredients we loved. Her female-empowered staff were the sweetest and kindest. And she truly went above and beyond to make this evening the most special of my life. I'd hire her again in a heartbeat.

We worked with Annalisa and her team at edible elements for florals and catering for our wedding and were absolutely blown away by every detail. I had a pretty specific vision for the flowers, and seeing the arrangements Annalisa created immediately made me cry - they were beyond my wildest expectations. Our food was fresh, flavorful and incredibly delicious - we had so many guests coming up to us raving about how wonderful their meal was. Not only is Annalisa deeply kind and lovely, she is just so good at what she does! Hiring her was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Thank you so much, Annalisa!

If you decide to book with Edible Elements, I hope they don’t mistakingly double book like they did for my wedding. You just might end up with a completely different menu then you paid for. I went to this vendor and asked them to create a menu. I did not go with a specific budget (more to come on that later), but said I just wanted to make sure we had good food. The menu was created. Cocktail hour - cheeses, charcuterie platter, crackers and breads, mustards, cheese dips, veggie platter with dips, sweet and sour meatballs. Dinner - Grilled chicken (grilled on site) with homemade sauces on the side, roasted vegetable, bacon pasta with a cream sauce, pulled pork and sides. I asked the vendor if she did cakes as well since there were pictures on the Facebook page and she stated that was something they could handle as well. She provided me a quote and we moved forward. I emailed a few days before just to make sure everything was still good and they would be able to get the grills to the venue and increased the amount of people we originally planned for. I was emailed and updated quote and assured everything was all set. They never told me any of this. They also showed up with no cutting boards, knifes, salad dressing, grills and the list goes on. They had to use what the venue had available. After we completed pictures, I went to get hors d’oeuvres and they were gone…weird considering pictures did not take long at all. I figured at that point perhaps they misjudged the amount, but dinner would be soon. Fast forward to dinner…I approached the table to get my plate and realized all the food that was being served was not what I ordered. They brought my food to their other event and I ended up with someone else’s menu. I immediately alerted the staff that this wasn’t what I ordered and she told me the owner would “make it right”. I stepped outside and attempted to call the owner but my call was sent to voicemail. I did not eat the food that was brought. I was told by several guests that the food served was not good. They ran out of rolls and biscuits. They served shredded chicken of some sort, ziti with red sauce poured over the top and pulled pork. The next day, I hadn’t heard anything from the owner so I contacted her. I told her I was disappointed with what happened, but, mistakes happen and ultimately there’s no going back in time. I explained that I wanted some of my money refunded. She said that she wanted me to pay her staff and would refund the rest. I agreed. After the call ended I realized she didn’t give an amount she would refund, but, I figured we would sort that out. The following day, I sent an email explaining that I would like to know how much she would be refunding and also explained that I learned her staff knew they had the wrong food before I ever walked down the aisle and feel like they should have told me. The owner emailed me back (she wouldn’t take my phone call) and said that she needed a formal written statement to take to her attorney so they could figure out a refund. She stated that I went to her with a low budget and that she did the cake for free…none of this is true. She set the price for everything. The owner sent me a check for a 20% refund. 20%!…When the food was wrong. When they admitted they brought all our food to the other venue. The only reason I didn’t take this to small claims court is because karma is a great thing. I can look in the mirror each day and know I did the right thing.
