I had a great experience with Edra for my wedding. Her specialization in Hollywood waves and personalized approach, including an initial Zoom call, set a collaborative tone. During my trial, Edra focused on every detail, creating a vision that complemented my dress and wedding aesthetics. She genuinely cares about achieving your desired look. Her calm demeanor eased my pre-wedding nerves, shielding me from the chaos of vendors and questions. Her talent and skills enhanced my appearance, making me feel like the most beautiful version of myself. The ECB Creative Team, led by Edra, was cooperative and sweet, working closely with each woman in my bridal party, considering their beauty inspiration and style. Edra's dedication on continuous education and staying up-to-date on trends reflects her passion for providing top-notch bridal hair and makeup services. The only minor hiccup was a delay, resulting in the timeline going over what we had initially discussed. Ultimately, everything fell into place, even if it felt rushed towards the end. Edra and her team were amazing to work with! They did beautiful hair and makeup for my group of ten (5 bridesmaids, a junior bridesmaid, a flower girl, my mom, my mother-in-law and myself). Bella and Gisael handled hair, while Harpreet did makeup. Edra handled my bridal hair and makeup but also was doing touch ups, my mother’s hair, and monitoring the artists. They were social and very nice, while also very focused on their work. I looked at many different stylists for the wedding but when I came across Edra, I loved that she did an initial zoom call (instead of just emails) and gave so much flexibility in her packages. She worked with me on the timeline for the day of, asked for some inspo pics for the bridal party, and discussed the different hair and skin textures of the group. Throughout the process, she was reassuring of the teams skills, positive, and gave creative suggestions. The photographer showed up quite early on the wedding day, which caused a bit of a hiccup to the timeline, and Edra was amazing at redirecting/pushing back on him and overall reassuring me that as the bride I should not be feeling rushed or stressed. She was amazing!

First and foremost, I looked and felt beautiful on my wedding day! Edra is kind and professional. I would highly recommend her services. My glam waves came out beautiful, even though I kept moving lol. My only complaint was that her additional stylist needed a lot of direction and I think that affected timing. When I expressed this concern, Edra was quick to gratify the situation. Thank you Edra for making me feel like a princess on my wedding day!

Unfortunately I can't say I had the same experience as the rest of the brides on here who is giving 4-5 stars…...I booked with Edra for my wedding back in July for myself and 4 bridesmaid. Our consultation call went fine, the standard of calls I would say. She sounded like she was knowledgeable and had been in the industry for years along with owning her own business back in Chicago. So I booked a trial with her. She talks about how she works out of her studio (I'm thinking its like a salon studio). The day of the trial, I showed up to what seems to be her apartment which was a little odd and not really professional in my opinion. I still went through with it as I already had hair trials before at other salons and it did not work out. My hair trial was over 2 hours which is fine and the hair turned out good so I ended up booking with her. FYI I wanted a soft hollywood look but not to structured. I also gave her examples of course. We went over timeline and communicated through out and up until the wedding day. It its partly my fault for agreeing to a 6AM ( wedding started at 5:30 PM) call to do my hair but then again I am not the professional so I wouldn't know that as the bride I should have gotten my hair done a few hours before arriving to the venue. She came on time to the hotel and started on my hair. It only took her again 2 hours to do. So she finish roughly around 8 AM. So for the rest of the time I got my makeup done, got ready, did get ready photos and headed out to the venue but between all of that my hair had already fallen. It was humid that day so as a professional I would think she would recommend to do my hair later so that it could hold. I think what it was is she double booked that day and since she was only working on me and her partner working on the girls, she can book me then go to her other wedding party that same day. Which I think is strange as you would think she would want to focus on the bride and make sure everything goes as smoothly. When I arrived at the venue to do first look etc. She came to do "touch up" after her other wedding gig which I appreciate I guess…. I felt like she made my hair worst but was also interrupting our photo session. She kept on trying to take pictures of me when my photographer was trying to do her job. She stepped on my husband best man glasses and broke it that was in the grass cause we were taking photos outside and she wasn't watching where she was walking, it was just a hot mess. To do all of that and not post one picture of my hair on her IG is crazy (I’m sure she knew she didn’t deliver the look I wanted) but I didn't care cause it was not up to standard anyways. I just felt like there was lack of professionalism on the day of, no sense of direction of what I needed for the touch up and I'm sure I'm missing out on more details but for the money I paid I was not happy with the results on my wedding day (the most important day). The kicker is she never followed up with me after the wedding like my other vendors did. That just tells me a lot. There are other reviews on yelp and Google on with unhappy brides so I'm not alone. The photo attached is our first dance! The reception was just getting started but my hair was already frizzy and close to straight.
