About this vendor
Eduardo Alves Events is an energetic wedding DJ and entertainment company based in Boston, MA. With a passion for designing unforgettable nights, founder Eduardo strives to give every couple their perfect celebration. Whether through atmospheric lighting or a dramatic entrance, he wants to collaborate with his customers to find the perfect way to express their love for one another.
With youthful exuberance and bundles of experience, Eduardo knows how to keep your loved ones on their feet and dancing all night long. He is a talented DJ and MC and complements these skills with a host of other services. Coming from a Portuguese background, Eduardo is also happy to perform for Brazilian, Portuguese, and Spanish occasions. Eduardo Alves Events welcomes the opportunity to entertain at weddings across Cape Cod, as well as in the surrounding states of Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and New York. This DJ regularly travels to the city of Boston for special events.
Eduardo’s music is perfect for cocktail hours and receptions, with customizable playlists to enhance the tone of the wedding. At the ceremony, he can provide discreet lavalier clip-on microphones. For half an hour before the ceremony, arrivals are accompanied by gentle background music. Accompaniment can also be supplied for the processional and recessional. The couple can signal their arrival to the reception with plumes of dry ice from CO2 cannons. Eduardo can coordinate uplighting to flatter his music, but can also maintain a static color for during the reception so as not to distract guests. Prints from photo booths supplied by Eduardo Alves Events are customized with the name of the happy couple and a colorful frame of their choosing. Guests then go away with a fun keepsake of the special day.

Our dance floor was NEVER empty! Every single one of our guests complimented Eduardo and kept talking about how our dance floor never stopped. He did such an amazing job choosing music that got every age group out there and kept everyone dancing all night long. He truly made such a huge impact on our wedding and helped make the night so unforgettable.
His photobooth was also INSANE! He helps you create custom templates, and it was such a fun addition to the night. Our guests absolutely loved it.
We would 100% recommend Eduardo to anyone looking for a DJ. He exceeded our expectations in every way and we are so grateful we had him there for our wedding!

ts on! It was big, and came with curtains around it which added to the fun, you got to select what kind of print out you wanted and what you want the photos to say! (we did our wedding hashtag) and the photo quality is AMAZING!!! We got an entire signed album from our guests that Eddie puts together for you as the night goes on which was so special and fun to look back on. Guests get a copy of the pics to keep as well! Eddie was terrific - he was so kind and saw during the night that I kept getting pulled away so he grabbed me to come out and use the booth! He wanted to make sure I was able to use and enjoy it! I spent the next 30 mins taking pics with my guests and it was a BLAST! I will never forget him doing that for me! Hiring Eddie for your photo booth needs will be the best choice you can make! Thanks for everything Eddie! You rock!

here! Finding vendors for every aspect of a wedding can be tiresome, but Eduardo Alves Events really is a one stop shop for entertainment. In addition to providing music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, he also provided the uplighting, photo booth, monogram projection, and CO2 cannons - all of which really elevated our wedding and made the night special.
Eddie is definitely the best choice for your DJ/ MC needs!!
Before we even got engaged, my now husband and I knew we wanted to hire Eddie. We follow him on Instagram and kept see...
ing his posts for all of the events he was doing. We knew, hands down, that we wanted him to be the DJ at our wedding.
He was the first vendor that we booked for our October wedding and by far was one of the best decisions we made. He was very professional, skilled and flexible. The number one thing we really hoped to have was the dance floor packed all night and it was, thanks to Eddie!
His attention to the crowd, the vibes and knowing when to switch up the music was key. His energy and enthusiasm throughout the night was incredible and really enhanced our special day.
We also got the glam booth and a personal monogram displayed on the wall which were great additions! The glam booth was a huge hit!
We would recommend his services to everyone in need of music entertainment and will certainly book him again shall we ever need a DJ or Photo Booth.
Thank you so much for everything Eddie!

our package and do not regret a single choice. The photo booth was a hit, the uplighting and the cold sparks were amazing, the CO2 cannon was so much fun, and we really appreciated the extra hour of partying. 10/10 across the board. Thank you!!

he is! He is excellent at what he does and really knows how to read a crowd. We chose the package with uplighting and photo booth which were both awesome as well! Our guests LOVED the Photo Booth and we even got to keep an album of pictures taken from it! My family is Portuguese and Eddie was able to balance mixing up English and Portuguese music without skipping a beat. The dance floor was always packed. Don’t think twice about booking Eddie- he’s the best!

Eddie was amazing! We had our wedding at the Fairmont Copley Plaza hotel in March 2022. He made our wedding THE party of the year, because once the music started the dance floor st...
ayed full through the the last song. I was very specific with the vibe I wanted, and Eddie hit the target. He gave us a helpful worksheet to fill out before the event and worked seamlessly with our event coordinator to align on the timing of dinner and formalities. All of our guests loved the photobooth, which was a super affordable and way better option than favors in my opinion. I would highly recommend Eduardo Alves Events if you need a DJ.

very dynamic guest list and he was able to feel the room out and do his thing. Everything was PERFECT. He always made sure to run things by me first throughout the wedding and it all just went so smoothly. I didn't have to worry about one thing. This was one of the greatest days of my life and Eduardo had a big part in that. He is professional and he can make it happen! Thank you so much!! Everyone is still raving about the awesome time!

lan my wedding, he was the first vendor I turned to.
Eduardo is really the best wedding DJ around. He is professional, punctual, responsive, accommodating, and the added bonus of him being bilingual (English and Portuguese) made him an easy choice. His music selection and variety of effects are next level. I was very impressed by Eduardo‘s ability to incorporate different types of music to lure every guest to the dance floor regardless of age and he kept the dance floor full all night! That’s not an easy task and he did it flawlessly. He also went the extra mile to personalize our wedding and I can’t thank him enough for that.
Also, his photo booth’s quality is the best I’ve ever seen. We got so many compliments on the photo booth so I’d highly recommend adding that.
You won’t regret going with Eduardo!
