Professional Violinist for Weddings, Parties and Special Events
With more than 60 years of violin performance experience, I bring a lifetime of musical dedication, professional experience, and a passion for sharing music with others.
I hold a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Illinois Wesleyan University (1978) and a Master of Music degree from Illinois State University (1994). Throughout my career, I have performed as a I soloist and as a member of numerous orchestras and ensembles.
My orchestral experience includes the Bloomington-Normal Symphony, Peoria Symphony, and Knox-Galesburg Symphony, all in Illinois. I currently perform as a First Violinist with the Chamber Orchestra of Barrington at St. John’s.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of performing alongside an extraordinary array of celebrated musicians and entertainers, including Itzhak Perlman, Nadia Salerno-Sonnenberg, Tony Bennett, Vince Gill, Roy Clark, Dave Brubeck, The Moody Blues, and many others. My performance experiences have also included appearances with legendary entertainers Bob Hope, George Burns, Pearl Bailey, Victor Borge, Shirley Jones, Dudley Moore, and David Ogden Stiers, best known as Major Winchester from MASH*.

Performances are available as a solo violinist, with other musicians, or with professionally recorded accompaniment that provides a beautiful musical backdrop for the solo violin.
Special musical requests can generally be accommodated with advance notice, allowing you to incorporate meaningful and personal selections into your event.
