Edward Weiland Photography

My husband originally recommended to use Edward Weiland Photography to photograph our wedding day due to the fact that his brother and sister had both used him. After looking at his work from both weddings, I knew he would be the right photographer for us. We got married August of this year in Naperville, IL. We were incredibly happy with the way photos turned out. Both Edward and his assistant, Genevieve, did an amazing job to document every special moment of our wedding day!

We hired Edward and his team for our wedding day. The photos were beyond our expectations. The photos were unique, thoughtful, well-composed, and bright. Our wedding guests even commented that they forgot we had photographers shooting (and there were three of them, between Edward, a second photographer, and Edward's assistant)! Edward was enthusiastic about all of our ideas - even our piñata. He has our highest recommendation.

We used Edward Weiland Photography for our wedding in May 2013, and he was amazing to work with! From start to finish, our experience was fantastic. Not only did he capture everything we could have hoped for and more, he helped us schedule out our day so that it was as smooth as possible. He listened to what we had envisioned for our wedding day, and worked hard to achieve that vision. He was fun to have along with us on our wedding day! Edward was very flexible in our ordering after our wedding, and he was helpful in designing our wedding album as well. I would definitely recommend Edward to anyone planning their wedding!

We originally booked Edward for our engagement session and were blown away by how fun he was to work with. Once we received our pictures we knew we couldn't chose anyone else for our wedding day so we booked him as soon as we could! Edward took the time to get to know us and learn about what was most important to us for him to capture on our wedding day. We communicated with Edward in person and via phone and e-mail in the months and weeks leading up the wedding, and we really felt we received very personal service from him. We also enjoyed going to his home studio to see his work (and his cats, they are so cool!). The day of our wedding Edward was not only a photographer but really helped make the day stress free and suggested little things that really made our entire day special. Our family members, wedding party, and friends really enjoyed working with him and it comes through clearly in the pictures. The weather didn't cooperate but Edward was the first one to catch when the timing was right to jump outside and get the best shots. He even took some amazing pictures of us under a rainbow that take my breath away. Edward is truly a joy to work with and I look forward to using him for other events and family pictures.

We can't thank Edward enough for all the incredible work he did to document our wedding day. He is extremely knowledgeable and helped stage the photos in a personalized way. He suggested poses and group shots that were creative, authentic, and not cheesy. He kindly directed our wedding party into great poses (none of us are models), and the pictures are incredible. I can't even pick my top 20 favorite pictures because they're all so great! Edward took time to talk with us before the wedding about what was important to us and learn our story so that he could make sure to document in pictures our key memories. He also did a great job of suggesting a timeline of events for the day of the wedding which I greatly appreciated as it made the whole day flow smoothly and stress-free. Edward prepared thoroughly and staked out where we'd have our events and pictures. When the wedding day came he had plenty of ideas of where and how to take the photos. He was also extremely cognizant of my wedding party's comfort (such as anticipating whether it might be getting too cold) and everyone had a great time participating in the photo shoots prior to the wedding. Then he captured all the key events of the ceremony and reception with lots of high quality candid pictures. The final result of the pictures was a true story of the day. He did an incredible job meticulously going through each picture and providing them on a CD that was both chronologic in order and sorted by wedding day event, making it very easy to find specific pictures. I am very grateful Edward was our photographer, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent, professional, and extremely well-prepared photographer to document their day.

Thank you so much for making our wedding day wonderful! To us, the most important aspect of our wedding was the memories we would create and the person that would be able to capture the images we would keep forever. The photographer had to be just right and we were so lucky to find Edward. While in the midst of wedding planning mania, I completely forgot to figure out a way to get my girls from the hotel to the ceremony. Edward saved the day by driving myself and my bridesmaids to the ceremony all while capturing the most lovely photos of the chaos. How many photographers would do that?? If you want someone who truly cares that your day is amazing, Edward is your guy. Edward took the time to get to know our personalities and what we were looking for. I'm just so appreciative of all he did for us. And wait until you get your wedding book, stunning. Our friends and family still rave when they're over. The ladies at work were blow away. Such flattering feeling :) It really is very lovely. Our book tells a complete story of our day. I couldn't asked for it to have turned out any better! Since our wedding, Edward has become our family photographer. His unique style has translated into the most adorable pictures of son. I have been lucky to be apart of three weddings where Edward was the photographer! Edward was shooting a wedding for one of my friends, it was the first time I had met Edward and he made the day extra special and enjoyable. Once I saw the work he produced I was hooked!! Edward shot my sisters wedding and did an amazing job!! When I got engaged I emailed Edward that night and told him he has no choice but to clear his schedule for my wedding!! Edward makes sure that there is not one detail that is missed! He sets up meetings to get to know you as a couple and the shots that you want captured on your special day. The week of the wedding he called me almost everyday with ideas and suggestions and also to confirm the timeline!! He was so organized and made my wedding day so much easier to relax knowing he had everything under control! I would highly recommend Edward to be your life photographer!! I had him shoot out engagement photos, our wedding photos and I know once we have children I will have him shoot out milestone pictures as a family, he is our life photographer!! I never have received so many compliments for our engagement photos and weddin photos in my life! Edward is the best and you are silly not to have him!! He captured memories my husband and I will hold on to for a lifetime!

Edward was our photographer for our wedding and every step from our first meeting until viewing our pictures after the wedding was flawless. He did a wonderful job capturing every moment and took a great deal of time to find out exactly what we wanted in our pictures. He even went above and beyond role of photographer and set me up with an excellent hair stylist when mine became ill very close to the wedding day! He does beautiful work and all our guests and family absolutely loved him!

Edward was our photographer for our wedding in July 2012. Edward was extremely easy to work with and made my husband and myself feel extremely comfortable from the first day we met him. Edward was polite, courteous and very enjoyable to have at our sides the whole day. He captured our wedding day beautifully and we are so grateful to have chosen him.

Edward was my photographer for my wedding on July 30th, 2011. He was amazing and my husband and I could not have been happier with our pictures!!
