The Edwardian Inn is a historical wedding venue situated in Helena, AR, personifying turn-of-the-century opulence and master craftsmanship. Located just a few miles from the famous Blue’s Highway, this treasured property is steeped in rich literary and musical tradition. For over 35 years, the Edwardian Inn has hosted guests from around the world as they explore the home of the Mississippi Delta blues. Today, you and your guests can celebrate your wedding in a luxury space once enjoyed by Hemmingway. Constructed in 1904, the Edwardian Inn is a testament to the fine American architecture of the early 20th century. Its quarter-sawn oak paneling is thought to have originated from 24 local sawmills while its elaborate wood carpeting was imported from Germany. Featuring 36 different types of wood, the entire first floor features exquisite details that can be traced back to the original foundations. Lovingly restored in 1980, this lavish mansion has retained much of its original details including the oak stairway and handcrafted mantels, one of which now serves as the front desk. As you step into the front foyer you can feel transported to the refinery of a time gone by beneath two beautiful French Drop Chandeliers dating back to 1915. Known as Big Ed to residents throughout Arkansas and the Mississippi Delta, the Edwardian Inn is considered Helena’s most premier bed and breakfast. The spacious grounds nestled at the mid-point of Hindman Hill provide the perfect setting for an outdoor event while the inn itself can comfortably host up to 100 guests.
