Yes, yes yes!!!!! Choose Elissa! This will be one of the best decision you will make in terms of vendors. First, you get your engagement photos done as part of the package and they can be done wherever you want! They will be perfect I promise!!! And it allows you to get to know Elissa and she can get to know you and your style. For the wedding, you will get ALL of the photos! We got over 800 edited photos and over 4000 unedited photos. By unedited, I don't mean strange angles and bad photos I mean great photos that just haven't been enhanced. Elissa is extremely nice and will get the best photos done and you will be happy with every single one of them!!!

Elissa was such a delight in taking our photos. she was happy to move to different locations for our shoots and knew exactly what to do. she was focused, efficient, and creative in how she arranged our party. she was great with the flower girls and ring bearers as well! she came a half hour early in order to make sure everything was running smoothly, and her assistant, Mike, works seemlessly alongside her

My husband and I got married in the middle of the Pandemic, when NY was first starting to open but things were still uncertain. Elissa generously offered to photograph our wedding in a safe way. She and her team were so easy to work with and helped capture our photos seamlessly. Elissa was always aware of the time, making sure we would get the photos we wanted while also being able to enjoy our wedding. They took care of every detail, moving my hair, removing hair ties from my daughters wrists, getting to know our complicated family dynamic, and just having a wonderful, fun loving attitude throughout our day. When we were signing our contract at the reception venue, we noticed the most beautiful canvas photo of a bride and groom on the wall and thought, “That has to be our photographer”. EID was the only photographer we interviewed because after our initial meeting, we knew we did not need to meet with anyone else. The EID team took amazing shots of us both at the Church and at the reception venue. She also kept us right on schedule so we could enjoy our cocktail hour. EID was able to capture the best moments of the day, from the solemnity of the Mass to the celebration on the dance floor! EID has a knack for capturing the finer details. Elissa was able to seamlessly weave her way about the dance floor and took incredible candid pictures of our family and friends, and thanks to her we can treasure those moments for the rest of our lives. After our first meeting with Elissa, within the first few minutes we knew we were going to hire her for our wedding. She spent over two hours with us for engagement photos, which came out great and was included in the total wedding package price. Then after our venue cancelled our wedding due to Covid, she spent over four hours taking photos of us in our wedding attire anyway. Her assistant Nicole was great too. You will not regret booking Elissa for your wedding or any other type of photography.

Elissa was so professional, creative, and FUN! Our wedding planning began a year prior and Elissa kept us in the loop with all arrangements. We planned the entire day with her and went over optimal locations for shooting. I can't even tell you how creative she got with some of these photos! I'm still in awe. Elissa is absolutely amazing! She made our wedding day incredible. Everyone was ranting and raving about how nice she was and about her placement for pictures! Elissa & her assistant were amazing ! They made everything so effortless. I had several young children in the wedding party who werent always so cooperative and they managed to get amazing photos with them as well. Elissa and Terry were a fantastic team for our wedding on 9/28/19. We initially went with EID Photography because of the beautiful pictures & that she was available all day (we felt restricted when some photographers had a 8-hour limit and charged more for extra hours) - but we soon learned that she was a sweet and enthusiastic person and knew our venue so incredibly well. We had the best time with her for both our engagement photos and the entire wedding day, and the pictures came out PERFECT! We got so many comments when we shared photos about how beautiful they were, and we honestly cannot choose which ones we are going to print large and make canvases because there are so many perfect ones. In addition, there are so many amazing dance-floor photos of our guests, which was really special for us as those are the moments you tend to miss at your own wedding! Elissa & Terry even captured our last dance song with all of our family and friends. Looking back at the pictures was truly a special and heartwarming experience and we will treasure the beautiful photos forever.

Elissa and Nicole shot my brother's wedding, and they were such a dream that I came calling when it was my turn. Nicole ran everything so efficiently and perfectly all day, was fun and professional throughout, and took the most amazing photos. We had 3 photographers on the day of (Nicole, Maureen, and John) and they took a million shots. Elissa is so friendly and warm and easy to work with throughout the whole planning process, edited BEAUTIFUL photos, and I consider her a friend after all this. Hire them - they're so worth it!!

The ladies at EID photography are absolutely fantastic. They were always very kind and professional, and they made me and the entire wedding party feel so comfortable from start to finish. There aren’t enough words to describe Elissa’s talent and passion for her work. We had already hired a photographer for our wedding, but after receiving our engagement photos I had serious doubts about our choice. I had seen some of Elissa’s photos online and began following her pages, while completely falling in love with her photos. We knew we had to make a change and by some miracle Elissa had our date available. We arranged for our engagement shoot- which she traveled over 2 hours to get to (and sat in A LOT of traffic (still getting there completely on time) all without one single complaint or negative energy after arriving). We spent many hours laughing, and it was the most comfortable I had ever felt being photographed. We had our proofs within days and I knew we had made the right decision. The day of our wedding Elissa showed up early, got straight to work and made sure everything ran smoothly. She got all the photos we asked for and offered her own ideas for some even more amazing shots. Elissa not only took amazing photos, but she jumped in to help during some mini emergencies keeping everyone calm and happy. Our second shooter Terry spent a lot of time with the groomsmen and they all raved about how fun and creative she was while shooting. Again, not just a photographer- Terry also jumped in to help in any other situation that came up all while still shooting along the way. They were the dream team and we couldn’t have been luckier to have them capture the most special moments of our most special day. Elissa has become so much more than just our wedding photographer, she has become our forever friend and I am so excited to have her capture all our special moments as our family one day grows. ❤️

Elissa was great fun to work with, and delivered a wonderful set of nearly 1000 finished photos that will ensure we can re-live the wedding day for years to come. From the first time we met to do engagement photos, we were delighted to discover that Elissa's easy-going nature, energy, and good humor were infectious. Not only did she tolerate our silliness and occasional irreverence, but she positively spurred it on. She (along with her assistant, Nicole) brought this same attitude to the wedding day, and helped everyone remain in good spirits on the hottest day in recent memory. Best wedding photographer in Hudson valley by far !!!! My wedding was beautiful! And Elissa and her team were so much fun to work with! They captured every moment perfectly! I had so much fun! I don't even know where to begin. From the moment we met Elissa, we felt like she understood our vision for our wedding and we instantly connected. She was excellent with communication throughout the entire planning process. Our engagement pictures came out stunning and my husband and I felt like that was a great way to "practice" taking pictures for the wedding. The day of our wedding, Elissa captured literally everything. She is such a creative mind and actually listens to what you want on your special day. We got our sneak peak back and each and every picture is incredible. We can' t wait to get the rest of the pictures, but at the same time know that we are going to have so much trouble narrowing down which ones we want in our album!

I knew from the first wedding expo my husband and I attended that EID Photography had to capture our wedding! Then we spoke with Elissa and we were definitely sold! EID provides many options for packages to chose from, and made every meeting feel like you were with family. The engagement photo shoot was just a preview of how adaptable the photographer was and gave us a chance to get to know each other. I went into my wedding day feeling completely confident in knowing I would have beautiful photographs at the end, and fun while capturing them throughout the day! EID did not disappoint! Elissa/EID Photography is truly AMAZING!! She totally got me and my husband from the first time we met, we clicked instantly. She understood our wants and our needs for our vintage inspired day. After we got back our engagement photos (which were well beyond anything I have even seen before) we knew our wedding photos were going to be something to truly cherish the rest of our lives. We literally just got them back and I can stop showing everyone I know, everyone has said they were the most beautiful pics they have even seen. I cant recommend her enough to any bride in the Hudson Valley or alike.

Elissa and Nicole were amazing! They were with us all day taking amazing photos. They did a great job taking specific photos we wanted as well as catching all the important moments and people. For our engagement shoot as well as before and after the wedding Elissa was engaging and conversational, and during the ceremony both photographers were discreet while taking photos.

EID Photography nailed it for our wedding. Both Elissa and Terri "got us" and captured the day perfectly, including some on the fly ideas with our bridal parties. Leave enough time between the ceremony and the reception if you can, so you can get all photos done before the party! That said, we never felt interrupted during the ceremony or reception. Final payment is due when they hand you your photos. No nightmare of waiting weeks or months for a finished product! Highly recommend EID!

My husband and I met Elissa and Nicole at a wedding expo at Otterkill Country Club. While I was totally overwhelmed by my first (and only) wedding expo, somehow EID Photography stood out to me. I felt like I instantly connected and felt so comfortable with Nicole and Elissa. I liked them so much that I dragged my then fiance back to their table to look at their pictures again after we had circled the whole expo. I went home and instantly stalked their wedding galleries on their website, and I was sold. We had one phone conversation with Elissa, never researched another photographer and booked them. Fast forward to our engagement session several months later, and I was a little nervous that maybe I hadn't researched enough or had exaggerated how great they were in my head. NOPE! Our engagement session was absolutely AMAZING and more than we could have hoped for!! Elissa went along with all of our ideas, including hiking all of her gear up to the top of the mountain and stopping to take pictures of us drinking beer along the route. The pictures were to die for. And at our wedding, Elissa and Nicole continued to be incredible. They worked so well together, made everyone feel so comfortable, and blended in perfectly throughout the whole day. People are still telling me how great they were. We got our proofs back in a little over 2 weeks and I can't stop obsessing over them. I have no idea how we are going to choose for our album, but I can tell you that choosing them was the right decision! Thank you EID!!!

From the very beginning when we met Elissa she made us feel so incredibly comfortable with the process that we both knew she was going to be our photographer. EID Photography is great and Elissa is very friendly! Unfortunately, Elissa, the owner was already booked on my wedding day, but her photographer Nicole did not disappoint! Nicole was also very friendly and took photos of my husband and I for my engagement shoot and on my wedding day. Nicole gave great direction to my husband and I while taking photos and it paid off because my photos are absolutely stunning! I am not photogenic at all, but I looked like I was modeling for a bridal magazine in all of my photos! Thank you again for everything!

We got married July 15th, 2017. We were referred to Elissa by our wedding planner. Elissa was great! She was on time, professional and just like she says she was a "fly on the wall," capturing all of the important moments without you noticing she was there. We got a second shooter as well and her team was awesome. They had great ideas for the photos and they came out amazing!!! We're very happy with the final product and would highly recommend her. Elissa is no joke...She has photographed my family for a family shoot and our wedding. She literally walks in the room camera ready ...missing no shot. Elissa was the photographer at our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah this year. Not only is Elissa a true professional, the quality of her work is exceptional and she is always seeking the best shots. I did a lot of research on photographers; I was being insanely picky because this was my wedding and let's be serious- pictures are all that's left after the days flies by! I met with Elissa after speaking with her and a few other photographers. Prior to meeting up with her I checked out her pictures which were incredible. After we met there was one thing that really stuck out in my mind- she told us that she made herself available for the ENTIRE wedding day! Yes the entire day! That she had no time frame- she said "I feel like I'll miss out on something if I leave before the wedding is over" and honestly that was a deal breaker.. most photographers have a time limit and that's so frustrating. So we booked her! We went over a time frame numerous times; months, weeks and days leading up to the wedding! She was great with communication and when we did our engagement photos we all worked so well and I knew our wedding day would be nothing short of amazing. On our wedding day she was in touch prior to arriving and was there on time.. we went and did our first look photos and it went oh so smooth.. then the wedding ceremony and reception . We didn't even know she was there. Elissa and her assistant Nicole did great! My husband and I are more than pleased... and oh my gosh I just picked up our pictures and let me tell you- AMAZING..STUNNING..BEAUTIFUL! EVERY SINGLE ONE! We are beyond pleased with her work and are now picking our photos for our albums. We had our final meeting and she showed us what our options were and went over our options in detail. We met up with Elissa early on in our wedding planning leaving not so sure what we wanted to do about photographers. There had been a couple that I was looking at. Elissa set a clear timeline for us after we told her we wanted to do a first look and all our pictures before hand. She told us what time we would need to be ready for first look, what time to get to the venue and everything...this was EXACTLY what we needed. We met with more photographer after Elissa to immediately decide that we needed to reach back out to Elissa. I reached back out to her to meet up again and sign contracts. We booked just over 10 months before our wedding. Elissa was available when i needed questions answered especially a couple months before when we were tying to figure out time lines with make up and everything else. She called us a few weeks before the wedding to touch base on everything and then again the week of to make sure everyone was on the same page. She met us at the hotel right on time and kept everyone to our timeline. We then headed over to Cornwall Landing to do first look and she made sure my husband was all set so he wouldn't see me before we were ready. She directed everyone where to be and took the right amount of time for everything! Once we got to the venue we did our family pictures and then we were ready for the wedding!! To be honest we were so wrapped up I. The ceremony and reception we didn't even notice her!! Which is a good thing because it meant she wasn't in our way or distracting! She left after cake cutting and people started leaving which is what we previously had discussed since she had more than enough photos and the rest of the time was just some hanging out and dancing! She approached us and made sure there were no other photos we wanted, at which time I requested a few in the cocktail area by the waterfalls which she agreed to. She then hugged us and left! We had a sneak peek on instagram about a week and a half after the wedding and we picked up our flash drive last night after only 20 days! The little box the flash drive comes in is so cute!! We have not yet looked at our photos other than the sneak peak since our schedules are opposite but I'm super excited to see them as I know her work is fantastic!!

I'll start by saying Elissa is absolutely amazing. When we first started wedding planning, we were a little overwhelmed by all the vendors we could choose from but quickly fell in love with EID photography shortly after our first meeting with Elissa. She's personable, funny, sincere, and just so easy going. She worked with us to customize our wedding package to fit our exact needs and budget. On top of our wedding photos, Elissa also did our engagement photos and even created save the dates and thank you cards for us. She went so far above and beyond our expectations. On the day of the wedding, she quickly jumped into so many different roles without even hesitating. She helped fix my "something old" that I wanted attached to my bouquet, she fixed my hair after some wind, she just anticipated my needs before I even realized I had them! The turn around time for our photos was much quicker than expected. We were simply amazed at how fantastic each and every photo came out. Our only complaint was that we literally could not decide which photos to choose for a canvas in our house because they are all just THAT good! I knew Elissa was the photographer for us when we first met! Elissa is so personable and easy to talk to. Her personality was such a great fit. Her album work is so unique and beautiful. She allowed my husband and me to be our silly, quirky selves throughout the engagement shoot and the wedding. She also saved me from having to take a photo every single time someone requested one, which does seem to happen every couple of minutes when you are the bride. She made sure to let me enjoy my night in between photo sessions and photo requests. She sent a link to our engagement session and our wedding photos quickly. She provides so much value for the price. She captured the most important moments of our day. Our guests have been raving about her photos and I can't wait to see the album!

Elissa is the best! After meeting with her, we knew she was the perfect fit for our special day. She has a fun yet calm demeanor that makes the pictures fly by. We didn't do a engagement session with Elissa, so we didn't know what to expect but everything was amazing from the moment that she and her assistant Nicole showed up to the hotel. They jumped right in and we had some laughs all day. Elissa had so many great ideas for our pictures from first look to the end of the night. She and Nicole were also amazing with our ring bearer and flower girl. They had lots of tricks and were able to make get big smiles from them. Elissa's photo booth team was also great! The backdrop, props, and the frames were an amazing touch! Elissa, it was great working with you!!

Elissa was an absolute dream to work with. As soon as we met her we knew we were in good hands. She is warm, easy to talk to and passionate about photography. My husband can be a little shy and Elissa made us both feel so comfortable and relaxed from the engagement shoot to the wedding day. I originally chose Elissa I. Davidson photography based on a recommendation from our venue, but from the moment I met Elissa I knew she was the one. It was a bit late in the wedding planning process when I contacted her, but she was completely willing to accommodate us. We set up a meeting as soon as we could so we were sure she wouldn’t book up – because she books up FAST! We met her right after she had returned from a photography seminar in Las Vegas and we were blown away by her passion and excitement. In fact, she couldn’t help but take pictures of our then 8 month old son and we, too, were excited as they were his first professional pictures. Elissa knew our venue (Falkirk Estate and Country Club), and we simply fell in love with her work more and more with everything she showed us. She even works with a videographer and video drone pilot whom we immediately booked based on her confidence in them. We scheduled our engagement session and it was eventually rained out. Our second try was rained out again and by that point, we were super close to our wedding day. Elissa was more than accommodating and instead of trying to push for those pictures, or take them in a less-than-ideal setting, gave us the option to have another session done at a later time which we were in complete agreement with because we had found our photographer for life. Elissa had an Instagram “sneak peek” for us within a week of our wedding and when she called to say our gallery was ready, I was blown away. Her work was amazing and we cannot wait to see her in a few weeks for our wedding video and to get started on our albums. I wish that I knew Elissa prior to my son’s birth as she would have been perfect for a maternity shoot and newborn shots, BUT, we’ve found her now and you’ll want to as well!

Elissa is AMAZING!! From the first time we met with her, we immediately knew we wanted to work with her for our engagement/wedding photos. As a bride who works in the wedding industry, and is surrounded by wedding pictures all day, I had a very specific vision of what I wanted our photos to look and feel like. Elissa nailed it. She was great in putting together a package for us, taking into consideration our wants, and our budget. We did our engagement photos in Queens, and had a great day getting to know her and vice versa. Her turn-around time is amazing- we got back our engagement photos in less than a week! Prior to the wedding, I sent Elissa some inspiration pictures for shots that I wanted for our big day. She gave me some of her own ideas as well, and assured me that we would have everything we wanted. On our wedding day, there was an emergency that led Elissa to not be able to come to getting ready pictures or first look- BUT she sent 3 of her best photographers in her place until she could get there. Nicole, Patti and Terri were AMAZING, and eased any worry I had for the day. They made us feel so comfortable, and we never felt like they were just "taking pictures"- they were just hanging out with us! It was important to me that our wedding photos didn't look too posed, and they made sure of just that. From the early morning, through the end of the night- they were simply amazing. 3.5 weeks after our wedding, we got our pictures back (so quick!), and we could not be happier! Having 4 photographers, they got every angle possible, and every shot we wanted. Wouldn't recommend anyone else!! My husband and I decided to plan a wedding in 3 months- YIKES! When we found EID photography we knew we hit the jackpot. Elissa was more than accommodating and flexible when working with us under the short time period. She shot our engagement photos, which came out phenomenal. She is great to get along with and has a positive personality. On our wedding day both Elissa and her assistant did a great job at capturing our day. She is so creative with how she takes photos. I highly highly highly recommend her.

If you want a photographer that is going to take amazing pictures, spends time at your wedding and make you and your husband the priority, look no further! EID photography is amazing, Elissa herself is warm, kind and just a blast to spend time with. She truly loves what she does and it shows in the pictures. Besides the pictures she will also become the "mother hen" not only did she help my bridesmaids tie my dress correctly, she helped get our flowers together AND got me to the church on time. She was unbelievable and I look forward to working with her again in the future.

Elissa is truly a very gifted photographer! My wedding pictures came out so beautiful! Elissa was such a pleasure to have at our wedding. She is a wonderful person and I'm so happy she was there to capture our special day. I look forward to working with her in the future!

I have not yet seen our professional pictures but I did get a few peeks during our pics and was more than happy with what I saw so I can only imagine what the final products will look like!!! Elissa is truly wonderful and genuine. I felt a real connection with her the second I met her. Her talent is wonderful and she listens to what you want. We wanted more outside of the box thinking and I feel we did get that. We loved our engagement photos and we had so much fun with Elissa. She even went so far as to come to Playland where we got engaged, an hour away from where she lives!! The day of was magnificent. She knew that my husband was a little more difficult with pics so she had an assistant come to focus just on him before and during the ceremony. She and her assistant focused on me and the girls and it was just a wonderful experience. She got almost every single picture we wanted minus a few because of time crunch so make sure if you have a long photo list, you leave the time to do it!! Choose Elissa and EID photography!!

From the moment we 1st met & sat down to talk to Elissa we knew right then and there that she was the right person for us. I cannot say enough about how fabulous she is. Her work is untouchable...never seen anything like it. We've done our engagement session with her, family portraits, pet portraits and now our wedding. I also did a budiour shoot with her as a gift for my husband and we plan on doing a trash the dress session soon. I've only seen a few teaser photos from her but every one is spot on. I cannot rave about her enough!!!!

I used EIDphotography for both engagement photos and wedding. Elissa is absolutely amazing to work with and accommodating. She is so concerned with every detail that it makes your life much easier. She not only takes beautiful pictures but runs an amazing company. I had Dan and Cheryl for my wedding because Elissa was at another wedding and they did an amazing job, they were on time, organized, fun to be around and just made the entire day so memorable. I had guests compliment my photographers without even seeing any photos yet. I would use EID photography for any photo needs and couldn't have been happier with my decision. Pictures are very important to me and I researched photographers for months. When I met Elissa I just knew she was the perfect fit!

Elissa (and her assistant for the day Peter) were a great choice to shoot our wedding. Ultra-professional, friendly, and totally on the ball, we had a blast with EID as our wedding photographer! More than a photographer, Elissa helped me with timing, with boutonnieres, and helped me relax on my wedding morning. Highly recommended! Can't wait to get our prints and album--she has gorgeous Italian albums, too.

My husband and I first found EID via the knot. We were looking for an artistic photographer with a traditional touch and a photographer that would not break our budget. Elissa and her team were amazing. Starting from the beginning, we had our engagement photos taken in the snow with our dog, who is a big part of our family. Elissa didn't skip a beat with keeping our basset engaged in the photos. We then had two people from her team (Dan and Cheryl) to photograph our wedding. We have so many stunning photos that it is hard to choose from. They even stayed after the wedding reception to take pictures of us next to the mid-hudson bridge at night. Everyone who looks through our photos comments that they didn't know that wedding photos could be like that. We are eternally grateful for Elissa and her staff for capturing our wedding in such a beautiful way.

Elissa and her assistant Tami were amazing from start to finish! Every meeting was so comfortable and Elissa could even suggest some reliable vendors for other needs. The day of the wedding was great! She took all of the necessary pics before the ceremony of my family and bridesmaids and after the ceremony she made sure our formal pictures didn't take long at all so we could make it to our cocktail hour to enjoy the full hour! We received our pictures about 1 week after the wedding and were amazed at how many pictures she was able to give us that were AMAZING! She is incredible!!

I simply can't say enough about this photographer. Elissa was wonderful from the day we met her to when the last picture was taken. She listened to and accommodated everything we requested. She was never imposing, but we always knew she was getting the perfect shot. We would recommend her to all of our friends getting married.
