Rather than trying to upsell every little detail, she was thoughtful, honest, and incredibly creative, always finding ways to maximize our budget without compromising the overall vision.
She was also incredibly flexible throughout the planning process. As with most weddings, there were changes along the way, and she was always willing to adapt. Having a vendor who could roll with changes without ever making us feel like it was a burden was invaluable.
Even my husband—who knows absolutely nothing about flowers—was blown away by Maribel. He loved working with her because she was so kind, genuine, and easy to talk to.
I didn't have a super detailed vision going into the planning process, but I shared a few inspiration photos and the overall feel I was hoping for. Maribel took those ideas and brought them to life in a way that was even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Every arrangement felt elegant, timeless, and perfectly complemented our wedding.
When I saw my bouquet for the first time, I was completely speechless. It was beyond anything I could have imagined—absolutely stunning and everything I didn't even know I wanted. Every floral detail, from the bouquets to the ceremony and reception flowers, was beautifully designed and flawlessly executed. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the flowers all night.
On the wedding day, everything was delivered and set up seamlessly. I never had to think about a single floral detail because I knew everything was in Maribel's hands.

She executed our vision flawlessly, while also working with us to show us things we had thought of or considered that we might like, she is the perfect visionary and had such wonderful ideas that truly made it all come to life. Your florals are captured forever in your photos and we (and our guests) am obsessed with ours. Maribel was the best for sharing ideas of flowers that had similar looks but were more in season etc, she is a wealth of knowledge and this is truly her passion and her perfected craft. She was also conscious of our budget throughout the process which I so appreciated. I had a vision of long stem peonies for my bouquet (peonies in mid October are very hard to come by) I also loved the look of similar long stem ranunculus for the bridesmaids (ranunculus are usually a shorter stem) and yet somehow by someway moving mountains behind the scenes Maribel made BOTH of these things come true. She pours her heart and soul into each wedding and project and she deeply cares about you getting the vision you had in mind. I cannot say enough wonderful things about working with Eight Tree Street Florals.

From a stunning chuppah that looked like it could have been plucked out of the Garden of Eden, to an insane baby’s breath centerpiece running that ran the length of multiple farm tables, Maribel worked magic. She is a great communicator and is extremely organized. Her examples and mock-ups helped turn vague ideas into works of living art. All along the way she was extremely flexible, never pressuring us to go beyond anything we were comfortable with and happy to make changes as our plans (and budget) evolved. The pictures just begin to scratch the surface of the incredible impact the room had on our guests. I recommend her to everyone and would hire her again in an instant.

She came armed with a team of like 10 people and when the rain hit, they rescued all the flowers super quickly. She works in Northern VA most often, but she didn't seem to mind going to Charlottesville for us. She's also very conscious of people's budgets, and I think can work with you (within reason) to get your vision done within whatever budget you need.

She had such thoughtful suggestions along the way (like tucking in greenery to our menus at the place settings) and I truly felt comfortable deferring to her to make final decisions since I’m not very well versed when it comes to florals. She was also always so quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had - I never had to wait longer than a few hours to hear back from her. Everyone (from other vendors to hotel staff to my guests) was raving about the ceremony and reception arrangements and my bouquet. I’m so happy my photographer was able to capture my husband and I when we walked into the reception to see the final setup because we were absolutely speechless. municative. When we last minute decided that we also wanted some (completely different) flowers for the rehearsal dinner, she was able to accommodate us (and they were also absolutely gorgeous). The flowers at the wedding were truly the most beautiful that I have ever seen (and we are biased but guests said the same thing)! In particular, the Chuppah was magnificent. The flowers and wedding decor were everything I imagined and more and Maribel was so easy to work with, kind, and fun. wedding, I didn’t think I’d care about the flowers much. But I was so wrong. When we showed up for our first meeting, Maribel and created two mockups of our centerpieces. She even had included similar colored linens and service ware. It literally was the first time I got excited for the wedding since we started planning. The flowers were perfect. Despite seeing a lot of her work was more typical bridal pinks and pastels, she captured exactly what I imagined - dark and moody, even incorporating black Irises and tapered candles. Her greenery and flowers were so beautiful and extravagant, especially my bouquet. She even made a handsome collar arrangement for our dog who took some photographs with us. It was all absolutely stunning.
Leading up to the wedding, we realized it would be more difficult than we thought to repurpose the church flowers, so Maribel included ceremony arrangements at no cost. Maribel went so far above and beyond and we cannot recommend her enough.

Maribel is the kindest, most understanding, most flexible vendor imaginable and it was an added bonus to have such a great experience on top of truly breathtaking flowers.
Maribel was great about translating my vision into reality and had ]fantastic ideas that we incorporated along the way. She had plenty of photos to send so I did not wind up needing to do a mock-up. She was incredibly respectful of my budget and graciously added in extra touches here and there and gave such thoughtful discounts when possible. She was incredibly gracious with all my requests to "change just one more thing" and I was so grateful to have a true partner to work with. Everyone commented on how stunning the flowers were and how they complemented the space perfectly.

A week or so before the wedding, she gave us the good news that she'd even be able to get us some branches within our budget that normally would have been way outside our budget (we were planning to get an alternative version up until that point but I really wanted the real thing!). I have to say that leading up to the wedding, there were several times when I didn't hear back from Maribel and I had to follow up multiple times to make sure she got the information. But in the end, everything was exactly how I wanted it and it was truly so beautiful.
