Maribel is AMAZING! She is hands down the best florist you will find in the DMV and I feel so fortunate that I was able to work with her for my wedding. She understood the vision I was going for and the proposal she created for my day was absolutely perfect. She had such thoughtful suggestions along the way (like tucking in greenery to our menus at the place settings) and I truly felt comfortable deferring to her to make final decisions since I’m not very well versed when it comes to florals. She was also always so quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had - I never had to wait longer than a few hours to hear back from her. Everyone (from other vendors to hotel staff to my guests) was raving about the ceremony and reception arrangements and my bouquet. I’m so happy my photographer was able to capture my husband and I when we walked into the reception to see the final setup because we were absolutely speechless. It was so abundantly clear being with Maribel that she loves what she does and it shines through in her work. I cannot recommend her and Eight Tree Street enough!

Maribel at Eight Street Floral was absolutely wonderful to work with. She understood our vision immediately and had so many great ideas. Additionally, she was very flexible and communicative. When we last minute decided that we also wanted some (completely different) flowers for the rehearsal dinner, she was able to accommodate us (and they were also absolutely gorgeous). The flowers at the wedding were truly the most beautiful that I have ever seen (and we are biased but guests said the same thing)! In particular, the Chuppah was magnificent. The flowers and wedding decor were everything I imagined and more and Maribel was so easy to work with, kind, and fun. We cannot think her enough for our amazing wedding and highly recommend Eight Street Floral!

We loved Maribel!!! She has a great eye and is super sweet. I don't know too much about florals myself, but I knew what kind of vibe I was looking for, and Maribel absolutely NAILED it -- what we ended up with on the day of looked even better than the inspo pictures. We had to reschedule a few times due to COVID, and Maribel was super easy to work with and flexible. You're in good hands with her!

There is seriously no one better out there than Maribel! She will go above and beyond to make her bride happy. I cannot say enough good things. Our flowers and arrangements were GORGEOUS! Do yourself a favor and book this vendor. You absolutely will not regret it!

Maribel was such a pleasure to work with! We had no idea where to start with flowers but knew we wanted something more simple. She did a walk through with us at the venue and really hit the ground running with ideas for us (our venue was a blank slate to work with). She created the most magical space with hanging greenery (so many kudos to her team for that installation at the venue), beautiful white florals, and glass votive candles - it was breathtaking! She is the sweetest and we can't thank her enough for knocking it out of the park!

A year later and I am finally getting around to this. Maribel was AMAZING to work with and so kind. She went above and beyond for me. The only thing we couldn't find at the wedding was my toss bouquet. But otherwise everything was so spectacular. It rained so bad and the traffic (Northern VA woohoo) was awful but she was able to get there and get it set up still so beautifully. We had some list minute ceremony spot changes. She was able to still create something beautiful for us. My best friend and MOH actually used her for her wedding about a year prior. I have recommended her to all of my friends who have been getting engaged. I wish I got my bouquet saved so I could still have it. So perfect. I love how happy she was, she made it feel like you were the only one. HIGHLY recommend.

Maribel was absolutely wonderful to work with. First of all, her joy and passion for what she does is incredible. As someone who was not super thrilled with the idea of planning a wedding, I didn’t think I’d care about the flowers much. But I was so wrong. When we showed up for our first meeting, Maribel and created two mockups of our centerpieces. She even had included similar colored linens and service ware. It literally was the first time I got excited for the wedding since we started planning. The flowers were perfect. Despite seeing a lot of her work was more typical bridal pinks and pastels, she captured exactly what I imagined - dark and moody, even incorporating black Irises and tapered candles. Her greenery and flowers were so beautiful and extravagant, especially my bouquet. She even made a handsome collar arrangement for our dog who took some photographs with us. It was all absolutely stunning. Leading up to the wedding, we realized it would be more difficult than we thought to repurpose the church flowers, so Maribel included ceremony arrangements at no cost. Maribel went so far above and beyond and we cannot recommend her enough.

I can not stress enough how happy my family and I are with Maribel and the gorgeous work she did for our summer wedding. My wedding was garden-themed, so the flowers were one of the more important aspects of the day for me. I told Maribel my vision and sent her all the inspiration I could find. She never got overwhelmed with my extreme attention to detail, and gave me even more inspiration the more we worked together. The whole process from start to finish was incredibly pleasant. She made what could have been a tiring and lackluster process into something very magical. Her infectious laugh and true love for her art (because trust me, her work is ART) was heartwarming. Maribel is exactly the type of person you would want around you when planning your day. She was so respectful to my parents (who are demanding in their own right, lol <3), to my now Husband and to me as well. On the day of, through the ridiculous heat (112 degrees!), she soldiered on like the true boss that she is. Our guests were floored to say the least. I had tears in my eyes because I could not believe how beautiful my wedding was. It was as if she took what I came up with in my dreams and brought it to life. I could seriously go on forever, but PLEASE - If floral's for your wedding are important to you at all, let me help you out right now and say; just pick Maribel and her Eight Tree Street team. I can't recommend Eight Tree Street highly enough as the most perfect wedding florist imaginable. I enjoyed every single minute of working with Maribel and I'm so happy I found her to do the flowers for our wedding at Woodlawn. From the very first conversation, I knew Maribel could understand my vision and would create the most beautiful arrangements to make our day special. Maribel is the kindest, most understanding, most flexible vendor imaginable and it was an added bonus to have such a great experience on top of truly breathtaking flowers. Maribel was great about translating my vision into reality and had ]fantastic ideas that we incorporated along the way. She had plenty of photos to send so I did not wind up needing to do a mock-up. She was incredibly respectful of my budget and graciously added in extra touches here and there and gave such thoughtful discounts when possible. She was incredibly gracious with all my requests to "change just one more thing" and I was so grateful to have a true partner to work with. Everyone commented on how stunning the flowers were and how they complemented the space perfectly. I would highly recommend booking Eight Tree Street for your wedding flowers, no matter your taste. I follow her account on Instagram (highly recommend!) and am always impressed with her style range - no matter what he vibe of the wedding, she does a great job of understanding the vision and creating incredible florals to match. Having Maribel as our florist was the BEST decision I made for our wedding! She understood my fantasy and made it into an even better reality! She really went above and beyond for us and was so easy to work with, very professional and very quick responses to all my questions. I was planning the wedding from afar so her prompt responses really reassured and helped the wedding planning go smoothly. Maribel was so sweet and amazing in all our dealings (and answering 50 billion questions and changes). On the day of our wedding, she was a ninja & a ghost! We never saw her, and each of the rooms (ceremony, cocktail hour, and for reception) was so magically prepared. It was so easy the day of the wedding, all the bouquets and boutonnieres magically showed up where it needed to be ahead of time with the right person (the property was big with many different buildings too), there was just absolute beauty every time you entered any spaces of the wedding. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the flowers looked. We really can't recommend Maribel enough, she just went above and beyond for us and was just so easy and professional to deal with. The MVP of our wedding, and the sweetest vendor of our wedding (and we had amazing vendors so it's saying a lot). Would personally recommend her for any and all events to everyone I can!

Maribel is an absolute delight to work with. We knew we had a winner when my daughter received a sweet little personalized gift in January 2018- from Maribel, saying how excited she was to be doing Ali’s flowers. One of the best decisions in planning our wedding was choosing Maribel to be our florist. She provided the blooms for our wedding at Great Oak Manor in Chestertown. I was so blown away by her passion, her bubbly personality, and her creativity. She was able to work with us to achieve the exact look I wanted within our budget, and even went above and beyond to deliver more than expected day-of. The bridal bouquets and boutonnieres turned out STUNNING, and I still have people commenting on how amazing our flowers were at the wedding. They absolutely contributed to the magic of our event. I can’t say enough wonderful things about working with Maribel, and the vision she flawlessly executed with our florals. She is AMAZING.

Maribel and Eight Tree Street Floral was my favorite part of planning my wedding. At our consultation we fed off each other's creativity and would finish each other's ideas with details that would put it over the top, we understood where each other are from and she understood my vision from the get-go! Maribel added so many free extras to our flower order that really made our wedding day magical, cheap green foliage tucked on bookcases and mirrors in our venue completed our look, and she didn't Nicole and dime us for those kinds of touches. My bouquet was the most beautiful arrangement I had ever seen and I wouldnt change a thing about how our flowers came out. She was fabulous!!!!!! I recently went to a friend's wedding who also used Maribel, and although the venue and theme of their wedding was totally different, her flowers still were show stopping! Loved her! Can not say enough, I want to plan another huge event just to use her for flowers again!

Maribel had come recommended by everyone I asked (literally!), so I knew I had to meet her. She drove to my neighborhood to meet with me and listened to my vision. She was just so genuinely excited about our conversation that I knew her passion would show through in the florals at my wedding (and it did!). So it was a no-brainer that I wanted to work with her. Maribel ended up being the talented florist I had heard she was. She was able to work with us and achieve the exact look I wanted within our budget. A week or so before the wedding, she gave us the good news that she'd even be able to get us some branches within our budget that normally would have been way outside our budget (we were planning to get an alternative version up until that point but I really wanted the real thing!). I have to say that leading up to the wedding, there were several times when I didn't hear back from Maribel and I had to follow up multiple times to make sure she got the information. But in the end, everything was exactly how I wanted it and it was truly so beautiful. Most other vendors made a mistake here and there, but Maribel implemented my vision and the plan we created together flawlessly. I highly recommend her, look no further!

Maribel is a bride's perfect florist! She listened attentively to all of my visions for my wedding and produced the most gorgeous work! Her florals made my dream wedding come to life! She always got back to be in a timely manner and was amazing at keeping within my budget! You will not be sorry if you book her!

We chose Eight Tree Street for our wedding floral needs and we couldn't be happier with our choice. During our initial phone consultation, I described our vision of the "look and feel" for our wedding. Maribel used this conversation as a creative springboard and designed bouquets and centerpieces which perfectly captured the vision. In addition to her talent, she was a lovely person who understood the importance of her role in making a wedding day as smooth as possible. In fact, she offers a small "dress rehearsal" well before the wedding to ensure we were happy with the real-world samples prior to the big day. As a result, there were absolutely no surprises and we all knew we were on the same page. As for the final product, the flowers were gorgeous, the process was smooth and I'd hire Eight Tree Street again with absolutely no hesitation.

My daughter got married this past September on a boat at National Harbor. Maribel of EightTreeStreet provided all the flowers for the wedding and reception, and we couldn't have been happier! Maribel is creative and flexible. My daughter lives out of the area, and Maribel did everything to make it easy for her (and me!). The flowers were beautifully done, delivered and set up within a very short window of time, and we received tons of compliments from family and friends. We would highly recommend EightTreeStreet to any bride and would be happy to use her for other special occasions as well!

Get to know the flowers you want (by name) and how they look so you know what you are getting. Maribel is great at explaining to you and has a ton of past work that will give you and idea of your own arrangements will look.

Working with Maribel was the easiest thing I did in the entire wedding process. She is incredibly pleasant to work with. I mentioned in an email that I was non-traditional and was considering black calla lilies. When we met in person she had actually saved one for me so I could see it. After talking for about five minutes we were on the same page and she knew exactly what I wanted. She's also very flexible. At first I was planning on picking up my flowers, but decided I wanted them delivered and she was able to make it happen. EightTreeStreet is budget-friendly as well, and will work with you according to your needs. I would highly recommend this florist to anyone looking.
